I am a frequent buyer from sangeetha mobiles – chennai velachery branch. I have bought couple of mobiles before and i was happy with the mobiles so far.

On saturday (July 30th 2011), i bought the moblie (Micromax bling1) which has an offer to buy 2 @ the price of rs. 6500. (Imei no. [protected])

After going to home only we realized that in one of the mobile, the menu key is not proper and we have to press very hard to operate. The button is slightly bent which we could not notice when we bought. Since it was saturday already late night. We took back the mobile on sunday (July 31st 2011) to sangeetha mobiles thinking we would get some justice.

But the response from the sangeetha mobiles showroom velachery was awkward. First of all, they are not able to understand / believe the problems that the customer comes to say. They are not interested in listening to anything and giving a careless response. I am not sure how could this people have the customers.

Saying a “37 years of retail excellence” in the board is not actually reflected in the manner the staff operate there. I believe it is not the way sangeetha mobile gives response to its customer. As we were telling the concerns for more than 2 hours and they were still adamant in not giving a proper answer.

We have not used the mobile not even one hour, and the staff are able to understand the defect in the mobile and not ready to provide the replacement. We need not come to sangeetha mobiles for getting such a response. Else we could buy anywhere else in the world. More than money, we lost our patience and hope.

Please provide us a good solution as we are not happy with the defect mobile that was sold to us.

Note - we have not got the original bill so far as they were telling the connection problem on saturday and sunday in chennai area. Not sure how we could take it to the service center without the original bill.

    I have purcahsed a mobile yesterday but they are not giving the gifts as per the advt. They will ask to send a sms to particular number. Then they will say server is down so we will give small gift offline.
    They have advertized cars and bikes in but customer will never get the chance of getting them in lottery. They will always say server was down so plz take any of the small gifts.
    This is big cheating that is only possible in india

      I am naveen resendly i buyed one samsung bt g7722 in Shirke (kengeri) branch. And they give one free MTS data card. I gave document to activte. But activition is not done from 25days. I Called to MTS cc they tel is not activited. Sangeeta Works r not taking care to activite. If i enquiry they answer roodly. One person name Manjunath. He beware very vry vry roodly he answerd We donot know & they come fight and also serive is very very bad. Please please take action & please activite my data card

        I bought a mobile from sangeetha mobiles in mantri mall 2 months back, but now the phone is dead. I went to the shop and told him the complaint but he didnt give me a proper answer he was busy stacking up mobile phones and was just talking to me casually. He told me to take the mobile to the service centre and none of them in the shop knows the address of the service centre. He jus blankly told me to go to jc road and didnt give me the address. He lied to me that his printer is not working and that he cannot give me a claim form, he asked me to go to some other sangeetha branch for a claim form. After so much of difficulties i got the customer care number and called them, the moment i told them the location of the shop she asked me to wait and spoke to the shop keeper and she jus didnt let me speak, she was so rude that she jus asked me to call the head office manager and jus slammed down the phone.

        Finally i got the area sales manager number and i spoke to him he was also the same fish in the tank, he said he will call me back but neither he called nor he picked up my 25 calls... What kind of service is this. If they are jus selling phones for money and not for service this is cheating. They jus tell about the features of the phone but not aout the insurance. T is their duty to explain the customers about the policies. When will i get the justice. I want the guy sitting n minting money in mantri mall to apologize to me and give me a proper solution to my problem.

        my mobile also was theft lost month 20th, i submitted complaint copy for OIC, but people they told, uor negligence missing mobile, sangeetha mobile service was not good.

          My name is godwin j doddamani, my mobile was robbed a coule of weeks back. I went to sangeetha mobiles (Jaynagar brch) in bangalore from where i had purchased the mobile. So tried to claim the mobile insurance, they asked me to fill in some details attached with the police complaint or fir which i have done. After a weeks time i recived call saying my insurance cannot be calimed coz its my irresponsibilty..
          I simply dont no how its my irresponsibilty and whats the purpose of having an isurance at the first place.. I fell like its cheep money macking tricks used by the sangeetha mobiles...

          this is a worst money making technique used by some cheap marvadi, Getting insurance done and see to that the customer will not claim it. even a profit of Rs 100 more per mobile will result in lakhs of profit to these jokers ... I strongly recommand not to visit this shop again
          have you guys ever heard of any insurance company saying no if customer requests for re issuing the policy ???? Sangeetha does that coz the customer money is already looted and they will see to that the customer should not even get a chance to claim the insurance if he lost the bill...           We regret for the inconveneince caused. Let me tell u more abt our insurance.our insurance policy is exlcusive which covers under theft, physical n water damage.so far we hav settled over 17000claims successfully.u can even check the data on www.sangeethamobiles.com.
          Some claims get rejected as it falls under exclusion like - handset missing or stolen due to negligence like handset left on table in restaurent n forgoten.handset left on window open etc..only genuine claims r given.incase u have any issues.plz mail to [protected]@sangeethamobiles.com

            I tried to get my nexus one phone fitted with a screen protector at Sangeetha mobiles Ameerpet showroom in Hyderabad. The sales guy there was absolutely useless. He took Rs.100 from me and made a mess of the screen protector. He just could not put it on.

            Don't go to sangeetha mobiles to get your mobiles checked or anything. If they cannot get a screen protector on then I would say they can get nothing right

              Well this is regarding my cell nokia n79 which i took from the above firm dated 11 march 2010. As per the company criteria the they assured that the claim settlement will be settled within the span of 3 days. I gave my cell for repair on 31/8/2010. Its been nearly 2 months they making me to run from pillars to post. A stipulated time from my side was given even though they couldnt repair it til date. The person named sameer who is in charge of the belgaum firm is not fit to give a correct and up to date info bout tha said cell. So i hereby request the high authorities please to take the action needful so that such incident doesnt take place in future. The above person gave there head office no of bangalore which doesnt exists.

                Please don't buy mobiles keeping in mind insurance factor from sangeetha mobiles, sales guys use it as selling factor, whereas when you ask about the procedure to claim the same they just direct youto jc road office.
                Insurance guys ask for police complaint about theft, but police insist you to lodge complaint as lost,
                With a police acknowledgement you can claim for lost passport, but not your mobile through insurance, br...

                I have bought a cell phone bearing model (Sony w595) on 17/1/2010 in the name "dhanveer" from sangeetha mobiles privita limited (Malleswaram branch).

                I had lost this cell phone due to theft on 5/2/2010. Value of the loss incured was rs 10897/-. The mobile company had given us the insurance which covered theft. Then i had registered a police complaint on 10/2/2010 in rajajinagar police station.

                With the nessasary document when i went to the mobile store (Sangeetha, jc road). They rejected the documents and rejected the insurance. The reason given by them was that the sim i was using was not in my name, the reason for this was i was not yet 18yrs old then and it was in my friends name and this reason given by them was invalid. Since this was not mentioned in terms and conditions of insurance. So i ask you for the help and ask justice.

                I M.Shashidhar reddy bought mobile sony x-peria -U in sangeetha mobile store vanasthalipuram hyderabad andhara pradesh on may 25 2012.I lost my mobile because of theft on sep 17 2012. And so i claimed for my insurance in oriental insurance company limited .7 working daya became 2 months after which they said 'rejected' and did not said any reasons for it. till now no letter came to my address for which iam regretting very much. my complaint no given was o1c/AP/T-01055/2012. this is the worst thing i never got anywhere. there is no response from the insurance company when i ask for help.i just want to take this matter to consumer form if no action is taken immediately. my no is [protected]

                  This is a complaint against one of the centres of sangeetha mobile in jayanagar 4th block.

                  I bought a micromax mobile w900 from this shop on the 27th april 2010 and i think iam cheated from there as they have charged me more money than what is listed on your website. I have even enquired before going to a shop from the phone numbers listed on ur website.

                  Micromax w900 which is listed as selling for 7812 rs is falsely sold to me for rs 8200 and when i told them that i have seen the price already, they said website price is differnt than shop price and i[censored] need at that price take it from website and not us.

                  The behaviour of shopkeeper was very bad and they were almost not interested in showing me the demo tehre were abotu 5 people and it took them a long time, first a guy told me rs8350 price then they told me 8200, is this a shop or a place where people can take any price they want???

                  Please i want to register a complaint againt the sangeetha mobiles jayanagar shop, do something about it

                      I bought a mobile from sangeeta mobiles jayanagar bangalore. There was some offer that i'll get a camera free. They said that i will get it in couple of days. After couple of days when i went to the store to collect my gifts they give me some chinese camera not even worth 700 bucks and they were asking for taxes and delivery charges and other charges worth 2000bucks. So don't fall for any attractive offers presented by them. They will cheat you some how

                        I, pranay m, had purchased a mobile (Fly-b430) on the name of mr. Bikshapathi on 17/01/2010 with invoice no. Si/chn/2580 dt.17/01/2010. But the mobile was not supported for bsnk sim card. I approached to the sangeetha branch & the problem is solved. Again after a week i got an internal error in handset as the phone will be immediately correpted and the phone will restarted for every 10 seconds continuously. Again i approached to the dealer and he collected my mobile for fly authorized survice center for five days. And he returned my mobile but again the same problem was repeated.

                        I approached mr. Satish (Mobile no. [protected]) the sales manager of the branch and asked him about the sangeetha mobiles head office contact number, but he was given his own mobile number and said that as it was a head office number. His behaviour with the customer is very rude and no good response from him. It is not a good for developing of business

                          I have bought a mobile phone at the date of 19/01/2010 from sangeetha mobiles private limited, which is located in forum mall in bangalore. The mobile phone's company name is fly.
                          Description of goods is b430-fly-mobile phones [protected]. The price is rs, 3, 557.00 only
                          My complaint is i am not satisfy by using this mobile phone. Its complicate to operate. It does not have satisfactory sound quality, according to me.
                          So that, i want to return this phone. Because of this i have visited the same shop and i request them for taken back this unsatisfied mobile phone, and i told, in place of this mobile i want to buy another good mobile from ur shop only. And i was ready to pay theire survice charge and tax also. Even they are not ready to taken back or exchanged the unsatisfied mobile phone. It is happening within one day duration.
                          Is there any source or rights, about get back my money or exchanged the phone within a reasonable time and deduction of amount or full amount how much i paid for this unsatisfied mobile phone? Kindly help me by resolve my problem's of this unsatisfied mobile phone.. Thanks.

                            I bought samsung m610 slide model from sangeetha mobiles - ashok nagar chennai. Just after 1 year of warranty, i got the display problem. I gave it for service. They asked me to pay rs 950 for spare and fixed the problem. The same spare is available outside for less than rs 250. When i asked they said, they use samsung original spare. So i believed and paid rs 950. The replace the spare. But it works only for 1 month. Again the problem reappears. Again they said it is lose contact and fixed. It worked only for 2 weeks. So this repeats for the last 3 months. So far after replacing orginal spare of worth rs 950, the moble fails 6 times. Now they say again i have to pay and replace the chip which got replaced. They claim this is a failure model from samsung (They why the hell the sell such products). Total irresponsible answer. I have a doubt that they have not used the original spare to replace. I also have the doubt they donot have qualified person for doing service. So i donot know why the hell they run the company. I am planning to go for consumer court. I dont mind even if need to spend money and efforts

                              I have recently bought an asus mobile from sangeetha mobiles. The offer extended was a free airtel dth connection with set top box. I had to fill a claim form and send along with it a dd for rs99, the barcode sticker from the phone box and a copy of my invoice to spectramind marketing pvt ltd. All this has been sent. There has been no revert from spectramind people. I have repeatedly sent them mails with the details. There has been no revert to the mails as well. When you call there contact center they disconnect the call when we give them the details. I think some action needs to be initiated againtst spectramind marketing as i have read other people's complaints here as well. They seem to be taking a consumer for granted. Please assist.

                              Sangeetha pulls off another fraud with another fraud company. Just google spectramind marketing or sangetha mobile and you will see for yourselves.

                              Mr Subhash Chandra : What are you doing with your company, do u only want to run this business for a few more years? The way you are going you wont last for long because fly by night companies such as spectramind will steal your thunder. How many times will you run such schemes, then fool customers and then say " even we are cheated by the marketing agency"...your last one with quantam concepts is another great example of your intentions. It really shows how intelegent you are when you appoint such agencies. Enther you are the most foolish CEO out there or you are the biggest crook. Either ways you are screwed and you have screwed 100000's of customers.

                              NDTV, CNN IBN, AAj Taak are you guys even watching this? This can be prime time television viewing which can take your TRP's to another level...just google sangeetha mobile and see how many people they have fooled with their schemes.
                              Just also read that Sangeetha mobile people have bought a KPL team...ha ha ha ha ha i wonder if this was done through our money? What a bunch of cheaters i am really surprised that they are getting away with this.

                              I had tried to go to the quantam concepts office they have apparently left town...another bunch of cheaters.
                              Same problem from myside also and also nobody is responding when i try to contact sangeetha or spectra mind.
                              Dont let these guys go away i suggest we plan a joint law suit against sangeetha, spectamind and take these thugs to task. all of you pls let me know if you are keen on joining and take this forward. If people show intrest i can set up a group and we can take this forward.

                              i also propose we create a website to warn people against sangeetha and other people like spectramind. it only costs 2-3K per month we may end up making 3 to 4 times that amout due to the add spends we can generate.

                                Company gave the distribution with the promise to provide service center, promoters...
                                Please dont buy any phones from this company... They dont give service... I was the distributor for micromax phones in coimbatore
                                hi iam from bangalore. shop in marathhalli. near bridge.
                                yes even i went through this, but i knew this befor. but wat was shoching was when the service persone gave an DOA for replacment these where argueing tat its not possible. i have a letter stating tat i can go for an replacment for a new handset. but they were speaking "simply crap". this is a shop in bangalore marathahalli near the bridge. there r 2 shops near by and both of them were talkin crap. but when contacted the head of sangeetha he gave an replacment. the shop guy responed when i said "plz have some costermer service or else ppl will not come to ur shop" the guy responed tat even if sangeetha closes v dont care.(tat was his kind of reply not exact tho. but ment it tat way.) sangeetha will close down soon if they continue to maintain this kind of service. there should be some control for customer service. hope this complaint reaches sangeetha head.
                                guys i have been sangeetha mobiles at near vidyapeta circle.. they have there showroom next to mobile store.. i went in and checked the priceses.. there prices are too costly... they are here just to garb the money. in the name of insurance... right oppo to sangeetha mobiles there is one more store known as vmobiles... thay gave me 380 less than sangeetha...

                                  Dear sir / madam,

                                  I have purchased a mobile (Micromax q3) in sangeeta mobiles (Green lands), while purchasing the mobile merchant has told me that it is of zero percent intrest & there is no processing fee is charged and after purchasing they had added rs 550 /- as processing fee, when i called the customer care of hdfc they are telling that it is been debited by merchant (Sangeeta mobiles) and when i approached the merchant he is telling that it is been debited by hdfc only.

                                  but till bank has not do that nesscarry action,

                                    Dear sir / madam,

                                    I have taken mobile (Micromax q3) in sangeeta mobiles greenlands, when i purchased the product he told me that it is of 0% emi no others charges would be charged on my hdfc credit card and after taken the mobile they have charged me rs 550 as processing fee, for this debited amount when i called up the customer care of hdfc credit cards they told that amount has been debited to me by the merchant only again when i approached the sangeetha mobiles they told me that it is been debited by bank only.

                                    For this mistake no one is not responding me properly as i have called up both of them many times.
                                    Kindly do the needful.

                                      Sangeetha mobile is celebrating 35 yrs anniversary sale, their ad shows 1 re. Margin on entire range of mobiles. But when i checked the prices of n series and some sony mobiles. All the prices are more or the same as compared to other retailers, priority dealers and distributors. So what is the point of 1. Re. Margin sale. And now they are not offering insurance also. (Until this anniversary sale is over). They are offering gifts, but when i saw in their showroom the customers are not informed about the gifts... And some customers returned back to claim gifts. Then salesman informed they have to send a message to server and do you know what is their big claimed gift... A gift voucher from some mall... Pls. Sangeetha we dont want your 1 re, margin sale or gifts. Just sell genuine mobiles and reintroduce the insurance. (The only reason i went to sangeetha).

                                      Yes I agree with you .They are selling for higher market prices.they are selling motoyuva w388 for RS.2830 where as The mobile store is selling it for RS.1990.
                                      they are trying to fool public and use some cheap gimic saying Re 1 profit sale and making that extra money on insurance which will not be able to claim
