Address : 1-10-397/1 To 7, Flat No.B606, Lake View Mirra Residency, Brahmanwadi, Begumpet, Hyderabad - 500 016

In the past 55 months of my stay in Hyderabad I have been paying the electricity bill well on time thru website https://www.tssouthernpower.com/ as past payment records will show. However, TSSPDCL does not appear to have any ECS facility or even a timely SMS reminder system and therefore, on a few occasions I have missed paying the power bill - online, as I usually pay - within due date. This has probably happened 3-4 times.

On each instance, TSSPDCL have deputed someone - probably a lineman or a meter reader - to my premises and have simply disconnected power by switching off the mains from the meter area. On each occasion our caretaker has come to our floor to inform us of this action and - this is the SHOCKING part - every such instance has been WITHIN 3-7 DAYS OF THE DUE DATE OF PAYMENT OF BILL.

I am not aware if this happens in any state and whether it is legal to disconnect the power without any warning. I feel this is malpractice and abuse of power and should be seriously looked into.

    I paid my electricity bill on 18th December 2018(9:44pm) from Google pay.
    [protected]@icici has requested for the payment to pay electricity bill of RS. 532.77 and it has been deducted from my account but not credited to Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company [TSSPDCL]. I thought it has been credited to them but after due date period they charged a penalty for not paying the bill. The amount is not refunded till date. Indiaideas has to refund my amount. My UPI transaction ID is[protected]. Kindly do the needful.

      Sir, recently i have taken one single phase meter vide sc no.[protected] with usc no.[protected]. I am using 2hp motor for bore. But for 1hr usage of my 2hp mortor the power consumes 6units instead of 2-3 units eventhough the motor takes 12amp for that i have received the first bill for an amount of rs 6800/-. But after checking the tspcdcl staff saying that everything is fine. Now i want to replace my meter with new one.. I will pay the replacement charges if any thing is there.. Pl guide me the procedure for replacement of my current meter.. I am very much thankful if any solution guide..

      I asked the motar supply people to check their equipment and now they replaced the panel board ..now the consumption comes little bit better and it is under observation..pl delete my mobile number from my complaint to avoid any misuse

        This month (Jan 2019) i received a total bill for rs: 2302.0. Paid the arrears on 8th jan 2019 for rs. 849.0. But still the amount i need to pay is rs. 1453.0. There is some issue with meter reading too.
        It is showing in the bill :
        Open reading = 30957
        Closed reading = 1
        Net units consumed = 249

        Could you please check and let me know?

        The power outages are very frequent in our area for no reasons whatsoever. It's more frustrating when it happens at crucial times of the day and a few special days such as holidays, festivals, etc.

          Sir,
          This is regarding the usc[protected], i'm facing abnormal unit recording - and receiving excess bill.

          My average consumption is approximately 140 to 160 units for which i receive the bill of around 600 to 700.

          This month we have received a bill of rs 4350 which recorded 578 units. Can you please solve my problem.
          I request you to kindly look into it as soon as possible...

            I have applied for 2 meters for residential purpose the meters have been alloted came to karwan electricity station but they are not installing from 7 day they are not responding to me & ae also irresponsible person not taking action on linemen's & the bill collector is not responding over phone call & they are charging installation fee from consumer's the work should be done by a bill collector they are sending a outside person's instead of electricity department persons have to work they are bargaining with us if you gave a fixed amount of our charges then only we will install new meters. So plz kindle requested to take an immediate action on them.

              We have been charged extra amount of rs. 3220/- as dccase amount due in the january 2019 electricity bill by tsspdcl.

              We are paying electricity bill amount every month for whatever the bill got generated. Why we should have to pay thousands of rupees extra as you charge without any criteria. We can’t afford such bills. Generally, we get 500 to 700 rupees bill every month. But, this month it is 4200 rupees, almost six times of the bill we pay. Request you to please review and remove the extra amount and please resolve the issue as soon as possible.

                  Power disconnected because of late payment.

                  1. I did not received this month bill.
                  2. Due dates varry on monthly bills.
                  I registered my mobile with service number i did not received any sms reminding me the due date.
                  3. Power disconnected when door is locked.

                  I made payment online. When asked for power supply, i was informed to wait till the amount reflects in the system.

                  When a payment was not done power disconnection will happen the next moment.
                  Why not the service be provided that quick when payment received?

                  It's been more than 12 hours payment was made.
                  I paid my electricity bill on 18th December 2018.
                  And today(30th December 2018) they cut my electricity connection.. the bill is till now showing due. I need my refund back.[protected] is my UPI transaction ID. Now I'm paying my bill as I want to connect electricity. I want my money back
                  I have paid my power bill for the November Power Bill 713 payed twice, by HDFC Smart Pay and another with HDFC standing instruction.

                  I would like you to look into it and adjust the amount in the next bill

                    Hi Sir,

                    This is regarding the disconnection of power supply before the payment due date. We have received huge bill amount for the Dec 2018 month due to faulty meter reading.It was corrected and line man has provided us new bill on 14th Dec with bill date as 14th Dec and payment due date as 28th Dec.

                    Yesterday by the time I reach home there was no power supply but I thought it was normal power cut. But even by today morning there was no power supply. I wanted to know why before the completion of bill payment due date our power supply was disconnected. The new bill was provided to us on 14th and due date is extended to 28th generally it will be 18th of every month. For this month there was an issue with meter so the bill cycle is changed and it not our fault right. Then how come the power connection will be disconnected.

                    I have paid bill today morning and attached the new bill and payment copy for your reference. I have informed concerned lineman of our area regarding this issue he said he will look into this. My intention here is to inform such type of incidents to higher officials so that they might understand our problems. What's the mistake from our end we can pay bill on or before 28th Dec right.

                    Please provide the exact reason for this issue and let me know the details for disconnection.

                      I have missed paying the power bill - online, as i usually pay - within due date. This has probably happened 3-4 times.

                      On each instance, tsspdcl have deputed someone - probably a lineman or a meter reader - to my premises and have simply disconnected power by switching off the mains from the meter area. On this instance they took out the wires as well connected to the main switch. This is the shocking part - every such instance has been within 3-7 days of the due date of payment of bill. Today's instance was not even 24 hours after the due date and i had already paid the amount today afternoon before they came for disconnection. Even after i said that i have already made the payment online the person disconnected the connection.

                      As per my knowledge this is not legal way of handling this. There must be a proper warning or notice before disconnection. I feel this is malpractice and abuse of power and should be seriously looked into.

But i didn't the meter or any call regarding that from the power office. When i checked the status of my application online it says service released and the ticket is closed.

                        How can you close the new connection ticket without even contacting us. Moreover you have updated with the false status stating you have provided the connection.

                        ok. I though you would take any action against it from your end by contacting the AE of Karwan and tell them to do their job. As of my knowledge the AE would surely get the instruction automatically for new connection which is applied through online. I'm not sure why am I pushed to reach AE and remind them to do their part of job. What is the use of this customer care when you are not at all helpfull.

                              Hi,

                              I paid the electricity bill of october on 8th november through paytm app
                              It was successful transaction.. But it's not reflected in tsspdcl so my house owner paid the same amount on 15th november.
                              When i visited the near by electricity office they said that amount will be debit from present month bill
                              But still the same amount reflecting on the site
                              Please resolve my problem as soon as possible... Am attaching all the required documents through this complaint.

                              I checked paytm and tssoutherpower.com but you are not update the 571rs for October bill.still its showing 571rs pending like these.already 40days completed but in your TSSPDCL not update.this is bad thing from your end.please find the attached document.if not update electricity department came and cut the power bill.please improve the ur TSSPDCL department.i faced 3rd time for this scenario

                                In dilsukh nagar, end of road number#3, bhavani nagar, near boys hostel, the street electric pole is omitting fire sparkles. It's been already 2hours (Now it's 2:54am) since its raining, but fire sparkles and abnormal sounds coming out is quite a chance representing a possible danger.                                   Today alone there was about 6 hours worth of power cuts. It keeps going and then comes back for a second or so and again again and again for 2 hours or so. None of the customer complaint or hotline numbers are answered and the taranagar power station number does not pick up to respond. This has become a constant nuisance now where at least 3 hours of power is cut everyday and the voltage fluctuates badly. Horrible organisation.

                                      This is regarding the excess power bill generated for the month of Dec 2018 which is ₹.12770 we never used to get that much bill per annum also. I can see this huge bill amount is provided in TSSPDCL site under Online Bill Enquiry.Thisbecause of the wrong meter reading. Lineman told that the reading of meter is jumping and he could not take the bill for this. Could you please look into this issue and resolve this as early as possible. The service number details are provided below.

                                        My meter is not working since last 3 months and line man is taking default reading every month.

                                        Last time when i visited bowenpally office they said the matter will be resolved in this bill, but yesterday also same default reading was taken. When asked why, they say ask lineman and lineman never comes.

                                        Last time i submitted complaint on this site and it was told to wait for some and hence i re-raising the request.

                                        Or kindly share the lineman number, can at least call him and talk.
