I have been a user of tata docomo for 2 years. I'm a student of IIM Calcutta.Recently they converted me to postpaid(around 3 weeks back).From that moment there is no network in my phone.I have to go to main road to attend any calls that come to me.But the worst part is I'm being charged a fixed sum of 899 INR per month. 899 INR Pack is unlimited pack but i have absolutely no use as i cant make any calls. Company people promise me they will rectify it but they never do it.The person who made me convert connecton(Deepak a senior person) never talks to me.Before connection he promised that he will send Junior engineer in case of any trouble.Sales girl(Richa singh) who did this sale is said to have left the company. None of them talks in a responsible manner.But none came.This is creating a lot of trouble for me as none can contact me of any urgency. I want a reimbursement of all the recharges that i made in my friends mobile and i want my connection to be up.I also need an apology from their postpaid sales department for shortsighted sales pitch, FALSE PROMISES, Irresponsible behaviour and Selectively not attending the calls I HAVE JUST RECIEVED A BILL OF MORE THAN 1800 INR... WHY SHOULD I PAY THIS BILL WHEN THERE IS NO INCOMING AND OUTGOING... THEY ARE ALSO MAKING CANCELLING/CONVERTING TO PREPAID A VERY TOUGH PROCESS

    I have no idea why the customers are harassed to the point of suicide. Please refer to my earlier mails (below) for list of problems that I had with your service. Now, I have a new problem. I opted for INR 1, 000/- 15 GB (9mpbs) plan as given in your website. I.ve been using for over a week now and I never got a speed beyond 4 mbps. Luckily I got a call from one of your executive (Mr. Mohommad Subhash) for welcoming me to TATA DOCOMO. He told me that my device is 6 mbps capable only. I does not support 9 mbps. Then I checked the box pack of the device and indeed I was fooled and cheated by Tata Docomo. The box clearly states in the smallest possible text that the device is capable of 6 mbps speed. No wonder i was getting such low speeds. So, why am I being treated so bias? Its a hell of a pain to contact the customer care. It takes about 20 minutes minimum to get to the right division and then from there once i press '9' for customer care executive i am kept on hold for 'life'. Now, I want to ask you a question? What should i do? Should I suicide? Should I file a case? Should approach consumer forum for this harassment and cheating? Should i just accept myself as a victim and let it all pass? or Should i simply terminate my account and opt for a more professional service provider like for example AIRTEL? I am sure waiting for a resolution from TATA DOCOMO is of little value. So please tell me, what (in the name of GOD) should I do????????????????????? Trust me, i repeated this question using all possible different words and i got the same response from him. I was on the verge of getting convinced. Then i asked him if he could send me an email regarding all document requirements. Now this is where I got suspicious. He send me an email using his personal email id ([protected]@gmail.com). Why would someone not send me with a tata email id? I called up the same landline "contact us" number and this time i was told that a sales representative will contact me. In less then 5 minutes i received the call (Mr. Devendre). I asked him about this "miraculous" plan and he told me there is no such plan. He told me that the corporate plan does exist but the monthly rental of INR 1, 000/- is per device cost and not total for 5 or 10 devices combined. I was scandalised. This is disappointing and a complete shame. I was getting trapped and would have probably ended up paying huge amounts of rental bills (because i told him for 10 connections). I really didnt expect TATA Teleservices would stoop to such desperate tricks to boost sales. I humbly request you to look into this matter. There could be other people who might get fooled.       This is regarding Nano sim request which I have submitted to Tata Docomo. I have gone to 2 of the nearest stores, for nano sim and according to them nano sim for Tata Docomo is not yet launched. Below are the details of the stores where they dont have prepaid nano sim. I have mailed to [protected]@tatadocomo.com and got the response (Nano Sim Request!~~M[protected] saying that they will check and revet.. I have followed up with them over chat/call/mail. But no response. The first store which I visited was *Tata DOCOMO Brand Store* *Address 1 : *Pune-Solapur Road *Address 2 : *Shop No - 4, Neelkamal Building, Pune - Solapur Road, Hadapsar, Gadital, Opp Prince Hotel, Pune *City : *Pune *State : *Maharashtra and Goa *Pincode : *411028 and another one was *Tata DOCOMO Brand Store* *Address 1 : *Wanworie Road *Address 2 : *KPCT Mall, B Wing, Shop no.8, Fatimanagar, Pune *City : *Pune *State : *Maharashtra and Goa *Pincode : *411040 Second being the biggest store in comparison to the first one, they were not helping. According to them, "Nono Sim for Tata docomo is not yet launched."

      My sim card damaged which was a microsim and I want to change it to nano sim. When I asked Tata DoCoMo service center they said DoCoMo is shut down and cannot provide new sim and cannot Port since the sim is damaged.         It is a fraud company . it deducts balance from account for any reason and when I contact the customer care then they says sir the charges deducted are right and we can not refund your balance. This company should go to hell and they are doing very wrong with the customers, if they don't refund me the balance then I will promote their name very badly in social medias and every where . I am very frustrated with their bloody services. I will wait for 24 hours other wise they will see the result.

          I have taken a new Tata Docomo SIM card (No. [protected]) 4 days back and still it was not activated. I have called the executive who sold the card to me couple of times but he says the Docomo team is not lifting his call or not replying to him. It is really not acceptable for such a big company like Docomo. After seeing all this, I am losing interest to use Docomo at all. Can someone from Docomo team will look into this and get the number activated or shall I go and cancel the SIM. -- Venkat Bangalore

              As iam Suresh using TATA docomo sim card . please note that i have gone to post paid plan that time the TATA DOCOMO person said that your plan is 600 calls are free and tata docomo to docomo free and above six hundred hundred calls over, each call we will charge 0.30 paise per minute but past 3 month we are getting high bill charging then we have called and enquiry with TATA docomo customer care, we were shock, they said that no 600 hundred free calls and per one call we will charge Rs.1.50 per minute . This is absolutely fraud work only, past three month i have paid high amount which i dont know they have chaged my call rates. i request you to please repay my amount for the june, july, august. and my number is [protected]. please if any enquiry please call to [protected]

                I am facing this issue from previous 15 days .I have purchased the photon max wifi Postpaid, service is started but unfortunately on address verification I have shifted to vadodara from Ahmedabad. Now I have submitted all the documents to the Outlet in the Vadodara and requested to them but still my service is not activating. All the time customer care is saying that my issue is resolved but my wifi is not working still by all my efforts and it is showing limited service on connecting. They are not doing services properly and all the time wasting my time as I have to go in my office hours. Ridiculoussssssssssssssss service... Photon number [protected]

                    I upgraded my existing photon data card to Photon max wifi data card on 12 th September. A guy came to our place and the device was paid for. He informed us that it'd take two to three hours for activation and explained the installation procedure to us before leaving.Today, it is 15th already and there is no sign of activation. We have made umpteen number of calls to the Customer Care center but the results are the same always: they respond that we should wait for a confirmation SMS before activation. When asked about the reason for undue delay, they never give any satisfying explanation. This is not the first time for us: a few months back we were unable go get a tata docomo mobile sim activated, the apparent reason being that the verification failed which in reality never took place. I'm not aware of how it aorks for the customer care nor am I bothered. But I am sufficiently miffed at the third grade service they provide to their existing customers, perhaps believing that they do not have other options than sticking for this crap. Anyways it would be hugely helpful if the Tata Docomo team could at the least provide us an explanation for this behavior, if not provide a better service. Details: Account no [protected].                         I have raised a request (Request Number:[protected] to CLOSE my Tata Docomo USB Dongle
                        connection through call center in the month of June-2014 and paid all my dues
                        by that time and I was not using the USB Dongle from April-2014. .

                        After few days I got a call from tata-docomo customer care that they will keep my connection on
                        SAFE-CUSTODY. Even though I was not interested to keep the connection in
                        safe-custody but upon force of the customer care representative, I agreed for
                        that and the customer-care representative said that I will not be getting any bill from next month.

                        But next month (July-2014) I got the bill and I again raised a complaint to CLOSE the connection but this time
                        also the same customer care representative called me and forced me to stay on SAFE-CUSTODY and assured me that the bill amount will be deducted and I will not be charged anything but that didn't happen anytime. After that whenever I got a call from the customer care, I told them the same thing and they never listened to me.

                        Now I am getting calls that a legal notice will be sent if I don't pay the bill.

                        Please help me with this, as I have not used the services from April-2014.

                            I had internet post paid connection from TATA DOCOMO.

                            On last Feb 2014, I took the decision not to use your post paid service because
                            of several reasons. At that time I spoke to your customer care representative
                            over phone and they advised me to go to the retail outlet for the same. On Feb
                            22, 2014, I visited your Poondamalei High road outlet. As advised, I paid the
                            outstanding amount of 1124/- and raised the request to cancel the post paid
                            service. Please find the below transaction details.


                            They promised this would happen in next 5 working days and provided me the ticket
                            (Request for Cancellation)


                            After that, again I contacted and came to know this had not happened and they
                            raised another request to do the same. This also had never happened. After that
                            I contacted several times over phone and nothing had been worked out and the
                            connection was active. Please find one such email as attached. I was kept on
                            getting bills during those days( February 2014 to April 2014) which I have
                            never used. I have requested many times to stop sending bills but this had never
                            happened.

                            Again in 21 May 2014 one of your collection representative
                            come to my house and collect the amount of
                            Rs. 2336/- vide Bill No: 734816 dated 21st May 2014 and
                            device also along with a letter. In that letter I clearly mentioned it is the
                            final settlement. I consider this kind of business practice is highly unethical
                            and sort of customer harassment. Now I got a legal notice to pay the amount
                            which is completely illegal this has to be withdrawn as soon as possible.


                            Please note that I followed all the procedure and as per the instruction I paid
                            all the outstanding dues at your outlet on May 26th and raised the request to
                            cancel the service. Please stop harassing me the way you are doing since last
                            couple of months by phone calls. Otherwise I have decided to take the shelter
                            of the consumer court. For your kind information at present I was not in the
                            Chennai Station. I have all proof what I
                            mentioned above (like request form, ticket nos, and Bills).

                              Tata DoCoMo Dear Team, this is O.Veera Bala Raju. recently I changed my network from Reliance to Docomo. I had 91 rupees pending in reliance so docomo people deactivated my account. now I cleared the bill and current bill of docomo. still my no is not activated. when I call customer care they are not responding and some of them are saying it will get activated with in one hour or half an hour like that. this is going on from three days.                               Further, your request for MNP (mobile number portability) can be done only the connection is completed at least 3 months on Network.
                              Kindly follow the given procedure to generate UPC Code;-

                              1. Send SMS from the existing (Donor Operator number).
                              a. SMS Port<space> Mobile no. to <1900> from the mobile number which you wish to port. You will be charged as per local SMS tariff for generating UPC code.
                              b. You will receive the UPC code instantly from 1901 number.
                              c. SMS will be charged as per the existing tariff plan.
                              2. UPC will be valid only for 15 days.
                              3. UPC code is 8 digit Alpha numeric code.
                              4. UPC needs to be generated from the same number for which the port out request needs to be registered.

                                  Recently I bought an TATA Photon MAX WIFI connection (Device # [protected]). I contacted your customer care for the verification and activation as per the SMS that i received. I was directed to your customer care and they started talking in Tamil even after i requested them to talk in English...i was begging them to talk in English as i couldn't understand what they were telling in Tamil. But they didn't listen to me, they were continuously taking in Tamil and disconnected. Once Again i called the customer care and finally got hold of an representative for the verification and Activation of my connection, they told me try after 5 mins with the device to connect into internet. Time was at 9:00 AM on Sep 14th 2014. When i tried to connect at 9:30 the connection failed, i again called your customer care, they took nearly 20 mins to respond in my phone line, and they came with an explanation that i have to recharge my plan though i have already purchased the Rs 350 starter pack. When i tried to explain they asked me to visit the outlet and hung up the phone. Again, i reached out to your customer care to get the issue fixed, I don't want to waste my hard earned money. This time your team asked me to get online chat with ESHOP portal since this was purchased online. I went to an near by browsing center and chatted with them. Now your team came up with an biggest finding that my address verification was not completed and they were asking for local address proof. I have already submitted the Electricity bill as address proof and valid driving license as well. I explained them. After that no response on online chat for 20 mins. Then the standard response came "Tata Docomo eShop: I would request to please wait for a while and the concerned team will revert you back on the activation, and you will get confirmation of the same." i really don't understand whats going on here. Since i am really mad on the Rs 2349 that i paid, once again i took the courage to call your customer care, this time i got a reply saying that i will be getting an SMS shortly for the starter pack and activation. waited till 1:15 PM, but no response. i don't want to go through this painful process again. Again at 1:15, connected with your ESHOP chat, after listening my concern the so called Chat specialist told me that "Tata Docomo eShop: We understand your concern, however, will like to inform you that this is a specialized Chat Desk for Tata Docomo eShop support. For queries on Tata Docomo services, please contact our Tata Docomo Chat support service onhttp://c1web1.saas.talismaonline.com/chatc1/tatadocomo.html You can also contact us on call center number[protected], Photon customers can call us at[protected]." Even though it was eSHOP purchase, he is asking me go for generalist support from where i came to eSHOP. What a procedure that you have???.. After explaining everything, he took some time to look into my issue and came up with the following response and please find the contradicting responses that they provided. I am really feeling sad that i purchased this connection. I never expected that the TATA's will go this cheap to mint the money in this way without providing any service. Long live TATA's. Now i don't care about that Rs 2349 that i spent on the device and plan. I assume that it was donated to an person who is hungry on making money.                                     HI, I am experiencing the worst ever customer service from Tata Photon Max wifi team. I purchased an Photon Max Wifi conncection with Rs 350 Starter pack. My device was activated today and the verification is also completed. But still i am not able to connect into internet. Today i spent more than 3 hrs with Your customer care team. but still the issue is not resolved. Finally i was chatting with eSHOP chat personnel. After hearing everything they disconnected the chat and left. This is one of the most ridiculous service that i ever experienced. The customer care is asking my to go for another recharge pack. then what happened to my initial purchase of Rs 350 starter pack. When i will be able to connect into online?                                       I am approx 5 year old customer for TATA Docomo but this time is the worst experience with TATA Docomo as i have switched off my cell on 7th or 8th September after forwarded the call as i was going to out of station. But i was shocked today when i switched on my mobile that my entire balance approx Rs 750/- deducted from my account. Kindly check and reverse my wrongly deduced balance asap neither i have to take appropriate legal action against this cheating. Hope the quick response from TATA Docomo.

                                        Hello sir,

                                        2 days a back in the evening a service named "girls zone" automatically activated on my tata number . I recieved a message that "girls zone" service activated and 50 rs deducted and after 10 or 15 minutes i recieved a message that service is deactivated, even i didnt activated or deactivated any service. I called to service center, first they didnt accept its their fault, i told the exactive to transfer call to superior, he said ok and instead of transfering call he disconnected the line and blocked my customer care. Next day in morning i called to customer care again, this time i was able to talk to customer care. I explained the same problem, this time also they didnt accept its their fault.I again told him to transfer the call to senior, he said ok and again he did the same thing.Then i called from another tata docomo number and explained my problem, this time they accepted their fault and told me that my balance will refund in 24 hours, i said ok.Till this morning i didnt get refund so i called them again they said dont worry we will help you and your balance will refund in few hours and now its evening, no refund and customer care is again blocked.they are just making fun of me.i want to know how much claim i can do on them for this harassment.
