I activated the 5 Rs 3G data pack. I receive a message saying the pack has been activated at 1:20 pm, 4/12/2012. I proceed to use 3G data. 20 minutes later, the data stops. I check my balance to see it's been wiped clean. The data pack did not activate at all.
I call up the Customer Service line. The representative insists that there is no 5 Rs 3G data pack. After arguing with me, she puts me on hold to transfer me to a senior. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, the call drops.

Disgusting.

I have rechard my tatadocomo for 3g services on 18-aug-11 even thoug , iam not able to use 3g services . if i call to costomer care ,that helpless , i thougt there is no costmer suppor from tata docomo . if i call always comming busy,

    Since last three days i've been charged more than i talk.this is not for the first time it is happenig.but for the first time i'm filling written complain.in February i port to airtal and then again port to docom.since. then i was charged pluse rate.but since i came back from Chennai i've been 1.2Paise how.when i port back to docomo they said u will be charged one Paise per second.i need to get solved my problem by evening and the excess amount which u've charged me be refunded by evening.ot wise i'll change other network.if my remaining balance goes no problem .

      it is very unfortunate to say that my mobile number was subscribed to breaking news service without my consent today[protected]:30am)

      the exact message is shown below: (received from 51818)

      hi you have subscribed to breaking new alerts at rs.10 till 30/08/2012. To stop, dial 155223 or sms stop news to 51818 (free). To unsubscribe, dial 155223 (tollfree).

      But when I sent the message, another rs. 3 deducted. Moreover I got the message from 51818 as follows:

      networ 18: keyword doesn't exist sms cnbc for business or sms
      ibn for general news bb for budget bonanza p : portfolio
      stk : stock quotemkt: market news news: general news
      cri : circket news biz: business news ind : indices
      ent: entertainment news

      today when I complained the customer care, immediately I received a message (hi, you have cancelled your subscription to breaking news alerts. Thank you for ysing our service.)

      Even though it is unsubscribed, I didn't get a satisfactory reply why it is subscribed and how the amount will credit which I have lost.

      Even though it is a small amount, it is a case of cheating.

      Tata Docomo — subscription of services

      They charge unnecessary subscriptions and also give toll free number to cancel the subscriptions. But when we call the toll free number, the type of service subscribed automatically by them, doesnt available. And they just make money out of it.

      THE PREPAID mobile service of TATA DOCOMO is really disturbs a lot.

      Now the world cub, they are subscribing to their live service automatically, which was not subscribed, when we want to cancel it which it not happening.

      ALL messages they sent of WORLD CUP of matches, scores etc.
      your service is very very bad. i dont like your service messages. your customer care officers was very poor and un responsible persons. iam very disappointed to your service

      Today 05/16/2013 I also got the same msg saying Breaking news is subscribed to me and Rs.10 for 7 days.

      Although people already had the problems, why it is repeating again?
      I have unsubscribed the service by calling 155223. So my money will be credited back?

      THIS IS REALLY BAD FROM TATA DOCOMO SERVICES.
      this service is very bad. please stop this service on my mobile no. i have already told you many times.either i change my my mobile no.or change other co.

          I got a message indicating that Hi! You have subscribed to PA-bolly at Rs 30 for !DATE! Days.Autorenewal on[protected].To enjoy dial 530304(tollfree) and to stop dial 155223(tollfree).Bal Rs.86.49 at 03-Dec-12 19:45PM.But how can one activate without touching mobile. I deactivated it at 19:46PM. I called the customer complaint on 121 &198 they dint helped and replied system is down.
          I request you to please help me to renew this 30rs amount and credit back into my mobile no#[protected].

            I have done recharge of Rs.96 as per the customer care information. Customer Care Representative has inform me that on recharge of Rs. 96 you will get 6GB of internet. After recharging I call for the confirmation and they told me that you will only get 100MB as it is special recharge.

            I am trying to call Customer Care but no one is responding and they are disconnecting the phone. I want refund.

              sir,
              I owner of num [protected], Rh-91,vyankatesh nagar , nandanvan ,nagpur , pin 440009, i am charged with bill amount 4180. i started my 3g data on 12th oct, and i was told by customer care that i will be given data around 748 MB till 5th nov,and the charege will be around 149 Rs. i activated that and on 26 th oct i saw i reached my data of 750 MB so i called customer care to deact 3g service. i thought it will be deactivated as he said it will be deactivated till 27 oct, and i asked that if my 2G net will be activated or not he said yes. and then when i was getting the 3G net still ,then i again called on 28th then he said me that 3G service is deactivated now. and no request was made on 26th oct.

              And i was relaxed as 20Mb of 3G data was used extra by me , and nothing was reflected in my unbilled nor anything on my internet usage meter, meter was showing date 12 0ct-5th nov.

              Bt now i received the bill and it says that ur 3G data pack was deactivated on 26th and 3G service on 28th so i m charged extra amount of around 3400rs on my bill. This is just not fair. due to inappropriate knowledge of customer care why should i suffer, if on 28th oct i was being told exactly what will happen with me as 3G pack has already been deactivated then i would have opted to switch that pack ON again .

              In july - aug billing period i had used extra 2G net and it was reflected in my UNBILLED sms. But here in the latest bill i was not informed about the extra usage of 3G on my unbilled sms. If it would have been reflected then i would have surely turned the pack of 3G data ON(which was turned off due to the mistake of customer care incorrect info).

              I m sending enclosures of sms screenshots from my phone .

              ABOUT THE SCREENSHOTS:
              1.It is showing the unbilled amount to be 86 rs , but as i exceeded my net usage it shots up to 491rs.
              2.It is also showing the details about unbilled amount that is 576 rs.
              3.It shows that unbilled wasn't changed for extra usage of 3G net. If it would have shown the same as of Aug bill then i would have surely taken appropriate action to reduce the amount.


              Lastly i would say that if my credit limit is 1500rs the bill should not go higher than that. [you would be saying that credit limit is for unbilled amount. But i[censored] think Logically then like my amount has gone up to 4180 . Others can through the amount to even Lacs of rupees by using similar to me on 3G and ya its possible to shoot up to lacs of bill as 3G gives very high speed of downloading. ]

              Plz help me in this because your customer care representatives say that unbilled doesn't include net charges, so i had to enclose screenshots.

              Hoping to receive call soon From A PERSON read this email properly and checked the enclosers .


              I would also mention that a customer care(DOCOMO) representative named SANDEEP , waS even not aware of the details that net overusage is indicated in UNBILLED amount.
              MY questions even after u dnt care for mistake o[censored]r customer care (of 26th oct and 28th oct) as follows:
              And would like to ask question if credit limit is 1400 how can bill go above that.

              And if in 1 month net overusage wasn't shown in UNBILLED isn't it fraud to charge extra.

                  my tata docomo prepaid number was not active for 2-3 months as i had gone abroad for a project. and tata docomo cancelled that number and gave that number to someone else!!

                  it was a lifetime prepaid card and had around Rs.300/= worth of talktime!!

                  how can you
                  1. cancel the account
                  2. eat up all my talktime
                  3. transfer the number to someone else.... all without informing the consumer!!!

                    i have recharged for Rs 250 and am not able to connect 3G .Docomo is a real fraud company.

                    They(121) are attending my call and they will say that they are going to forward the call and put me for more than 10 minutes.

                    When i try to call them again it won't allow.

                    DOCOMO is doing biggest FRAUD nowadays !

                      I am using docomo. [protected]. I have received one message on 30-nov-2012 at 22;13PM that "WGWTOLLFREE" service is activated on my mobile.


                      Why ? and how ? this service is activated without my confirmation/intervention?


                      Against this i immediate call on mentioned no. 155223 and deactivated this service on 30-nov-2012pm and waiting the refund of my deducted amount Rs. 30.


                      yesterday 1-dec-2012 when i call customer care (121) for the refund, they says this payment will not refundable... even customer care don't now what is "WGWTOLLFREE" service and neither this service is use for me.


                      I am really shocked first without any confirmation this service have activated and when i deactivate this service at the same time so why my amount is not refundable. I need the clarification against this issue.


                      I want compnay look at this issue immediately and deactivate the "wgwtollfree" service for the future and refund my money ASAP.

                          I m Gaurav shakya, I have a strong compliant against this Tata docomo....

                          I purchase a Tata cdma sim ([protected]) on 23 Nov 2012 but sim is still not
                          Active. For that reason I complain to Tata customer care but they do noting to activate that sim.
                          I called the complaint helpline no: 198. But there was no proper response and they are disconnecting the call..

                            Hello,
                            I am using TATA DOCOMO service for my phone. On 3/12/2012 @ 8:45 am i received a SMS saying ' your monthly news pack is renewed and you have been charged with Rs.30', As i never subscribed to any service, this service was activated automatically and without any authorization.
                            When i called the customer care response was mean. Representative didn't try to understand problem and disconnect the call without giving any solution, and without listening to the problem. It was arrogant behavior from the representative and it was unwanted. Customer care representative name is Anand Kumar Sinha.

                            Purpose of launching the complaint is,1) getting back my money on mobile for unauthorized deduction of money out of my balance 2) Such deduction of balance shouldn't happen again in future. 3) Customer care name itself suggest care of one's customer so representative should not be arrogant with customers.

                            For your kind information your chat box doesn't support latest version of IE and firebox on Windows 7 OS. Your service is the worst service i have ever seen till date. Forget about caring about customer but you people don't even try to listen to the problems. You people deducting balance for balance inquiry. My contact no. [protected]. If you really care about your business with me please contact as soon as possible. Please, Send me information regarding How to change service with keeping same number ? as soon as possible. I am not just tired but getting irritated with your service, customer care executive who disconnect call in between and i can not call again.

                                  My self saurav batra subscriber of tata docomo with phone no [protected]
                                  i recharged my ph with rs 150 on 2/12/2012 at 8:55 pm and retailer recharged my a/c with special pack of rs 25 by fault
                                  and i got a msg abt that recharge (rs 25) i went to retailer to cancel that tranc from my a/c he canceled it on the spot i confirmed that by your coustmer care after that my call rate is 1.2 paisa / 1 sec sir the question is when i am not taken any benifits of special recharge then why i have to bear 1.2paisa / per sec there is no fault by me so i request you to please change my call rates to bacis (1paisa/1 seceond)

                                    Hello,

                                    I have been charged the below amount-
                                    1. Rs 30 - on 26th nov - 2012 - for Women health pack
                                    2. Rs 30 - on 27th nov - 2012 - for Women health pack
                                    3. Rs 30 - on 28th nov - 2012 - for Women health pack
                                    4. Rs 95.66 - on 1st Dec 2012- for downloading imageryZone
                                    5. Rs 99 - on 2nd Dec 2012- for downloading imageryZone

                                    Out of above all, only 2nd, 3rd & 4th were refunded to me. After thousands of explanations.

                                    The call to custome care is also chargeable.

                                    This results into wastage of time.
                                    I request you to please take myh request into account and refund all my amount.

                                      Hi,

                                      My father has a prepaid Tata Docomo connection and was requesting a duplicate SIM card in lieu of lost SIM. The customer care on phone had confirmed that an FIR was not needed. However, the representative at the outlet was adamant that it would be needed. When I asked him that the customer care did not say it was required, he rudely replied that then I should get the duplicate SIM from the Customer Care who told me so. Not only that, he told me that Duplicate SIM is issued ONLY if I agree to convert the number to a postpaid connection. SInce this was obviously ridiculous, I asked him if he was willing to give this statement in writing to which he refused, raised his voice and said I could complaint to whoever I wanted but he will not issue a Prepaid Duplicate SIM under any circumstances.

                                      The outlet under question is Lake Town, Kolkata. Requesting authorities to look into the matter. Incidents such as this is not expected given the reputation of the Tata group.
