Sir, I am having Tata Docomo prepaid connections bearing Nos. [protected] and [protected], one with me and the other at my home. I am facing lot of inconveniece on account of different service messages and calls being received in the above said mobile phones at odd timings and sometimes while travelling or in the meetings etc. This is causing lot of inconvenience and disturbance in concentration. Sometimes in the messages it is being stated that I have been subscribed for certain tips and if not interested to unsubscribe the same to send such message again to the service provider requesting for unsubscription of the said service. Sometims I could not do the unsubscription on account of which money is being deducted from the balance talk time without knowledge. When the executives of the customer care are cotacted, they are not positively responding. Therefore, I request that necessary action may be taken against the aforesaid service provider so that I will not get any such type of messages and telephone calls henceforth.

Tata Docomo — Extra Talktime not credited

hi,

I have taken a new TATA DOMOCO connection on[protected].Its activated in evening and I got a talk time 0f 5 rupees.But while taking connection I have payed an amount of 100 Rupees at the shop.I didn't get an extra talk time of 51 Rupees as per the new TATA DOMOCO offer.Please do the needful.

      Hi,

      I have not been able to reach a particular MTNL Landline Number for the past 15 days while if I try from my Airtel No. it connects. I have made repeated complaints on the Helpline nos. for which the tele executives don't know even how to say their names clearly.

      They keep giving me lame excuses such as Network Congestion for which I repeatedly tell them that I can access the No. from my Airtel No.

      They have not been able to solve my problem and the network is pathetic. I guess I should go back to my Airtel No.

        Tata Docomo is charging me 2 paise extra amt on every outgoing STD calls and charging me 1 paise extra amt on every outgoing local calls and one day for one std call they deducted 10rs insted of 8rs. I gave them a call at their customer care's office but they say i don know any thing.

        on every STD call they deducted much more money every day.I want them to send my call details but they not send any thing.
        I too disappointed with TATA because it a too executive brand in india but it provide a worst service.

        my tata docomo number is [protected] and i have acitived GPRS scheme of rs. 48. first i was surfing on mobile till that date i wan not charged for it and next moment i started sufing on p.c i was been charged for it so i talk ot miss siddi she told me that my setting was of mobil so i was been charged for it. then i told her to send the setting for p.c too she send me immeditaly, but now also it is been charging me. i was having balance of rs. 50 after saving the setting of p.c in my mobile i was charged. and now my balance is rs. 31 so now i want you to give my my remaning balance. for other refercne you can even ask mr. ronak at customer care service. he gave me this site for furthure complain.

          respected sir/mam,
          this mail is regarding the complaint against the
          tata docomo company .
          i am using the tata docomo sim in my mobile , i used to access
          internet on it but when i activated the pack then they deducted my
          core balance and given me the reason that they have deducted the
          balance for right thing. my complaint no-- gbl09744349
          but when i asked them how they deducted it then they given me no exact
          answer about that thing . they deducted my rs 67 balance.
          their customer representatives also not given me the solid reason
          about the deduction and all of them given me the diffrent answers. i
          want to know that how it is posibble that one of their representative is
          saying that it is right that they have deducted the balance and the
          other say that it is a wrong deduction ..

          so i request you to kindly take this matter in your view and take some action..

          TATA Docomo is one of the worst telecom network, whenever you will change your docomo sim from one phone to another an automatically message will send from ur phone and any type of service wiil activated on your tata docomo mobile and a message wiil come to ur mobile you have successfully activated this service and you have charged rs. xxx ...and also they offers the worst gprs service to the customers...they have poor network and whenever u call to customer care they will misguide you just saying you that now system updation is going on...
          any complain for gprs they will always tell sir please check your phone or change your phone... DOCOMO is misusing the name of TATA

            im getting "invalid server name" error whenever i connect to internet. Ive already complained to 2 times customer care about it. Still the error is coming.               My no is [protected] i live at byculla and work at vile parle west ( ambe ma chowk,irla gauthan area)
              the network at my work place at vile parle is so pathetic tht i cant even talk over the phone. i cant receive calls and to make call i have to again and again go outside where it show me 2 points(out of 5) of network and only then i can talk over the phone tht to with disturbances.

              all the other carriers give such good network that a person sitting in the most interior of the office can talk properly and i sittig in the outside also cant talk properly on the phone.

                I was getting download problem using Tata Phone data card. I requested them regarding the same on 30-Jun-2010 and they open a ticket and closed automatically on 31-Aug-2010. Again i called them for same on 1-Aug-2010 and said that this is automated process and not having control over it but a technical person will visit my place and resolve the issue. Somebody came at my residence and found that there is some network issue and need to fixed at tata photon end. On 3-Aug-2010 they blocked my services; I was shocked and called them for same. Now I was in mood to record each and every conversation. I shock goes higher when customer care executive told me that my service has been blocked due to excess use of internet. Generally I am using to download programming material and use to check company and personal mails at home and told him the same but he was insisting that this was blocked due to excess use of internet. I asked him to forward my line to some senior executive so i can escalate the issue and get it resolved. There was some different answer. He accepted his fault and told me that they need to install an Antenna at my residence in next 24 hours but till now i am not getting any response from them. I called them plenty of times but every time they reporting deferent issues and logging the issue but closing after 24 hours automatically. I am having enough recordings and uploading the same on YouTube. Will update the linkes very soon.
                As per my experience is you are going to purchase Tata Photon, Please listen these recordings from YouTube once before taking final decision.

                  respected sir.. today morning that is 8/8/10 7:00AM i had received message from TATADOCOMO network.. in that message they told.. to activate buddy chat message to *321*4#. and i had requested that number.. in that message there is no charges mentioned for buddy chat..

                  after my request completed.. they send 30 rupees detected for buddy chat.. from your account

                  then i called to customer care..
                  they told me.. we cant able to return your money..

                  and they deactivated the buddy chat ..

                  i didnot use that buddy chat service.. please return my 30 rupees money..

                  after the detection of 30 rupees.. from my balance.. they send the buddy chat charging details..

                  respected sir.. so i request you to return my 30 rupees money to my balance

                  543216.” Without my consent.

                  I had not subscribed to any such service...

                  I recharged of Rs. 30/- and, but at 04.10pm on 18 Sep 10 I received a SMS from 543216 that
                  "Your buddy chat service has been renewed. Renewal charges rs 6 for 6 days Dial 543216 now to chat with new friends..."

                  please unsubscribe me from "buddy chat" service.. when i tried to do so i get message "Problem while trying to save SR for the customer Prepaid
                  GSM Feature Community Request The Service is Not Active for the del."

My friends and relatives have complaint to me about this problem. This problem is having a very shame to me.                     same is the case with me. when all of my college mates get coverage in my college building(vivekananda college mumbai) i can never get the coverage. i am facing the problem from last 4 months.
                    I too reside in the same location that Mr Roy Albert mentioned above, i wanted to change my connection to DOCOMO but i am not able do so because there is absolutely coverage in this area. so kindly request DOCOMO to resolve this problem at the earlies.

                      BEWARE OF TATA PHOTON+

                      Hi,

                      I am a user of Tata Photan+, they advertise so much on the speed as it gives 3.1Mbbs but actuallu it will not give morethan 600mbps and that too only in Metro cities, if i move out of Metro it is like hell to work with the speed i get and it get disconnects every 3-4 minitues.

                      coming to their call center they register complaints but they close it without attending to it. They are cheating the customers.

                      My complaint is not resolved and they say i am getting 600mb speed and it is the maximum speed to get so my device is working fine. My question is where do i get 3.1mbps speed????

                      Dont know on what basis NDTV has awarded this idotic product as " Gadget of the year" they should re check once again.

                      I have a tata photon+ connection which i have started using since less than a month . From the day one i am getting speed like dial-up ( 10-30 kBps). I have complained ( complain no:[protected] for the same. Your Engineer visited and checked, then i got some calls rel;ated to the issue saying that my problem will be solved but, when i asked when they said they cant comit. I live in Andheri (e), Mumbai and i believe thats not a remote place to give service. I am fed Up of your service and give a single good reason why should i pay bill for the month.

                      Let me remind you i stay in Andheri (E) adjacent to Western Express Highway and at a walking distance from Andheri Railway station, and i feel that is not a remote INDOOR place. Also your engineer who visited my place said that there is too much load on the near by tower. Your Network team guy gold that survey is going on regarding where to place or tower or increase capacity of older one. plz let me know ...At least dont tell me that coverage is weak as my dialer shows full coverage but no speed.

                      Hi Bought a Tata Photon Device & it got activated on 26th aug'12. I have been promised that I will get 3.1 mbps speed till 10GB. But from the day it got activated I am not even getting 1mbps. I am getting hardly 256kbps or below it. I complaint about it many times in customer care but everytime they say that it will be done in 2 days & after 2 days they close the complaint without even working on it. I got a call twice saying that comapny can assure only 256 kbps speed. Tata photon is fooling customers like anything.
                      Please help me resolving this issue as earlier you have helped me a lot.

                      It is never resolved. More than 2 months had passed.
                      The customer care is worse than anything. I call up there thay put us on hold & they hang up the phone after 5 minutes. If I submit complaint by email they they dont reply.

                      Forget speed, Now I am not even getting the connectivity properly. I hope you take some action instead of just replying to the e mail or resolving the complaint by yourself.
                      I am using photon plus from more than 18 months. But from last 6 months, speed has decreased to an extend. It disconnect more then 5-6 times in an hour and sometimes my 2.5G mobile net is faster then it. It really hurts my working. Please resolve the speed issue as soon as possible otherwise I need to look for other provider.I do not want to buy photon max.

                        My name is Silambarasu my td no is [protected]. i transferd to td from aircel due to slow speed due to their unlimited plans just a week ago. the first 24 hours was very plesant with great speed in gprs. from next day hell broke loose. during day time the connection from sloopy,patchy or next to impossible. i contacted their customer care several times they gave useless advice such as switch off/on mobi
                        e, try after some time etc, the main reason suggested was network congestion. however the place im is small town network strength is full and there shouldnt be any trouble at all. even during night i get same patchy, inaccessible service 9 to 1. on top of this a customercare tricked me when calling for third time(he is aware im calling 3rd time) asked me try calling after 1 hour. i tried in vain to c0ntact their cust.care only to find out once u call 3 times they automatically lock u out. u ask me this is the worst exp i ever had , i used several cards of diff companies in tamilnadu. i think they delibrately do thisbecaz from net i learnt many us rs in mumbai, some parts of maharastra are exp same type of problem. bottom line is even though metered gprs, tata docomo sucks even after the fact it is cheap.

                        DO NOT GO FOR TATA DOCOMO GPRS Services i[censored] want a usable,stable gprs and peace of mind..

                          Sir, My self Mahesh Kumar and on 30th july 2010,0800 pm, I has been recharge a tatadocomo mobile number -[protected] with Rs 222 via SBI Mobile banking. Recharge successful done shown by SBI sms with Tid[protected] and same amount debit my SBI account but balance for the same has not been credit in the mobile number -[protected]. For the same matter i has been contact your superviser and told him complete matter. He give me a complaint number -PRRB09059209 date 30 july and he told me that my matter should me solve on 04 August 2010 at night on 800 pm but the matter has not been solve till time.
                          In view of the above, you are once again requested that solve my problem at the earliest please. My contact number is [protected].

                              The error message shows "Packet data closed by network".
                              i have called to customer care ,they said problem will sort out.

                              Tata Docomo sucks. I have been complaining since last 1 month regarding GPRS connectivity problem at my area, i.e., Collector Ganj, Kanpur-01 but till now no action has been taken. I have been mailing for the same since last 30 days but no remedy from their side. I think they have the worst technical staff amongst all telecom companies. DOCOMO doesnot give any priority to its customers and the way its executives talk is just ridiculous.

                                TATA DOCOMO INTERNET (GPRS) is very erratic. It does not work at my residence.
                                Despite complaints to Customer Care, they say problem resolved.
                                I think people need to go with quality and shun Companies such as TATA DOCOMO which is unreliable for GPRS services.

                                when i connect the net on my phone it is not connecting and i can not acesss my gmail acc and amazan acc many acc whis is very imp for me so plz do some thing for me
                                i dont know why docomo gprs in not working in village areas even though the network coverage is full, its working when i come to city, but its not good for village people who are Docomo customer, So, please solve this problem soon

                                  Sirs,

                                  This complaint is with regards the TATA PHOTON broadband connection that I had purchased from M/s Croma at Lower Parel.

                                  My data card no is[protected].

                                  I made this purshase in the month of July 2009,following which for the next 10 months I enjoyed hassel free perfect service.

                                  However since the last 2 months i.e. since June 2010, there is simply no connectivity everytime I try to connect the device a failed message appears.

                                  After repeated complaints for over a month and a half my pleas were finally attended to by the customer care executive who after numerous failed attempt inforem me that due to lack of Tata Broadband tower in my area i.e. Hindmata, Dadar (E), Mumbai -400014, I will hence forth be unable to use their service.

                                  I have two questons here:

                                  i) How did the company provide flawless service for 10 months in the absence of a tower???? Has the tower vanished over night???

                                  ii) Do I not deserve to be compensated by the company (Which has flatly refused to do so) for my loss of time and money and putting me through this mental agony & anguish???


                                  I therefore call upon the authorities to help me and bring me justice, by helping me to get refund of Rs 4500/- paid for the data card & further Rs 5,00,000/- as compensaton for mental agony & anguish and deficiency in service, that I have been subjected to.

                                  I totally agree what Mr Boman B. Kermani has said tough i find him lucky that he was able to use the broadband service for 10 months without any issue.In my case i have just bought the tata photon service and after a day or two only it started giving me slow network problem (a/c no :[protected], even after raising a complaint for the same the complaint is getting closed without even verifying from me and on asking for clarification these peoples are saying there is tower realetd issue and it will be resoved in nxt 3-4 months, if there is a tower realted issue how can your signal strength be 100%.These peoples are really making fraud with the customer and should be punished, even there call center peoples are very rude and directly convey if you are not satisfied with our service you can cancel the service but the amount will not be refunded, these is how these tata photon peoples are cheating the customers.

                                  If there is any one who would like to file a lawsuit against them please let me know i will be with you

                                    I have tata docomo sim . from last two days i am getting messages that thanks for browsing internet, and they are deduction 0.1 paisa per mins or in 5 mins, although i am not able to use it from last 10 days and to activate it i raised a service request with service request number "nwksr[protected]" before 10 days and i didnot get any satisfactory solution from Docomo .

                                      I took up a Tata Docomo connection on 16th Aug submitting all the documents . Felt really nice to have this. Good service . But suddenly they disconnected on 15th stating documents not received . Customer care it's hard to speak with them subjected you got patience to wait for 30 minutes to get connected . I have submitted Electricity Bill , PAN Card and Driving license photocopies . Customer care executives are saying documents not yet received and asking me to go back to the dealer . My question is Is this the only thing we keep on doing for taking up this connection ???????
                                      NEVER GO FOR TATADOCOMO and they are doing cheap tricks for marketing in public, they changed the plan now and i talked to customer care that they never had those unlimited gprs plans and no TATADOCOMO person revealed those plans any where for press. TATA si doing unethical practices in india from long time, it is better to avoid TATA in our life. TRAI is a useless body in india seems getting lot of bribes. TRAI put a rule that any plans introduced by telecom companies should be atleast for 6 months after launch. Whats is going on now? TRAI is sleeping? What the lawyers and Bigs doing in india, any one has guts to file the case on TATADOCOMO, come on indians, open your eyes and file and fire TATAs from INdia

                                      I have subscribed for two pre-paid connections with numbers +[protected] and +[protected] which have been disconnected without intimation from 15-JUL-2010. The reason provided to me was that TATA DOCOMO has not recieved the neccessary documents.

                                      I have purchased the connections from Sai Mobile Stores (Hinjewadi, Pune) (Proprietor: Prakash Bhodke) on 08-JUN-2010 by submitting the following for each connection:
                                      1. Filled in Application Form
                                      2. One Color Photograph
                                      3. Photocopy of Driving License
                                      4. Photocopy of PAN Card

                                      I was not given any intimation prior to disonnecting the service and subsequently have loged a complaint via your website on 15-JUL-2010 as neither customer care nor the nodal officer provided me with an offical service request number earlier in that day. The complaint number is 169450.

                                      I have called multiple times in a day Nodal Officers Ms. Deepali Londe and Mr. Anjan Singh and explained my situation and its impact to me. The only answers I get is "we will get back". I has been more than 3 working days and as per TRAI regulations your Nodal Officers have failed to provide me with a solution.

                                      I have provided these numbers to business contacts and now have a partial disruption of my daily business activity. Mr. Prakash Bhodke has verbaly acknowledged that the documents have been sent by him (he is not very cooperative in answering) and TATA DOCOMO is claiming the same has not been recieved. This leads to conculde that the documents are not in safe hands and can be used without authorization or possibly misused.
                                      21-JUL-2010: I have called nodal officer Ms. Deepali just to know that they have forwarded the case to Area Sales Manager yesterday (the same reason I was told on 17-JUL-2010). They would not give contact information of their supervisor Mr. Romulus Gomes and so here we are in a dead end, just waiting till time infinite.
                                      26-JUL-2010: I have aclled the nodal officer Mr. Anjan Singh who says the compaint was forwarded to the "concerned department" on the same day and the connection should have been activated in 3 working days. He is not providing the cronology of the case as he is saying it is internal matters and will not be provided. Also, he has requested time till 6:00PM today to give me a call back.

                                      Dear TATA DOCOMO user on this website, please do not add comments to complaints without the aim to resolve it. You have provided some comment which is of no use except for some PR activity for your company. If you do not have a resoultion for my case then please do not litter my post.

                                        IN ASANSOL RANIGANJ AND DURGAPUR CIRCLE TATA DOCOMO SERVICE IS VERY BAD. THEY ARE TIED UP WITH AIRCEL AND AIRCEL DO NOT HAVE A GOOD NETWORK INFRUSTUCTURE HERE. EVERY TIME TOWER IS BEING MISSING FROM CELLPHONE. THIS IS THE PROBLEM OF EVERY TATA DOCOMO CUSTOMERS HERE. IF THEY DO NOT TAKE ANY RAPID ACTION REGARDING THIS PROB IT WILL BE WORSE FOR TATA DOCOMO BUSINESS IN THIS CIRCLE.
