I have made numerous complaints on phone with different reference nos: z069t2p & 1-[protected] with regard to wrong charges being levied on my account.
On 18th or 19th july i made a request for a new remote control as my old one stopped working. The new remote was delivered in couple of days at my residence to my servant. When i came home, i checked the remote and realized that the remote was full of scratches and looked like a used remote. I immediately raised a complaint for the same.
In the meantime, my annual package was also due for renewal. I made the payment of rs.11600/- for annual renewal of my primary and secondary connection + charges for the remote i purchased from you. Few days later your service representative visited my house again and this time handed over the remote to my mother. My mother told him to take back the damaged remote which was delivered few days back, but he refused and told us that someone else will come as his job is only to give the remote.
Few days later, i was shocked to see my account details that the charges for remote have been deducted twice from my account, due to which my secondary connection could not be renewed on annual basis and now i have been charged on daily basis.
This is totally ridiculous as i never made a request for 2 remotes, rather the second request was just to replace the faulty remote you had given few days earlier. I tried explaining this to each of your executive on phone and talked to the team leader twice, ms. Pooja patil & ms. Pooja sharma who provided me with the above reference numbers.
On sunday, 6th august, i received a call from your billing department who confirmed to me that someone will come and pick up the remote and the charges will be reversed and my annual package for secondary tv will also be renewed. But unfortunately, on 8th august i received an email from tatasky claiming that all the charges have been correctly put and there won’t be any reversals.
I have made it abundantly clear many times that i have been charged wrongly twice due to which my annual package could not be renewed and i have been made to suffer. Right now, i again talked to someone, but twice they disconnected my call as they know that nothing can be done.
These are totally unethical and unprofessional working attitude adopted by tatasky as they know that the customer has already paid for full year and he can’t go anywhere else. I have tried enough and right now raised a dispute for the charges of rs.11600/- with my credit card through which i have paid the money. My credit card team has also suggested me to file a fir as tatasky didn’t provide me with the service i had paid money for.
This is just a matter of rs. 300 for a remote which should have been reversed and my annual package should be renewed. I will request you to kindly do the needful or else i will be forced to take legal action in this matter.
