I am a tata sky dth subscriber from trivandrum kerala. My id is [protected]. Recently i have recharged rs 290 kayika sadhya plan for 1 year. This plan offered 13 kids channels and none of them is activated. Except kids channels i am getting all other channels as per the package mentioned. Several times i have complainted this matter to your local service provider but no positive result so far. Now i am directed to complaint it by myself. Please activate kids channels soon.

    I have account id is [protected]. I was recharged my account on 25/08/2017 9.00 pm by net banking. My bank account from united bank of india. My recharge amount is 535.00 debited from my account. But your tatasky account not displayed my account. It still now show debited means my account balance of tatasky is 2.14. Means recharge not successfully done by your side. So please take decision and give reply asap.

      I have paid money through UPI payment for my recharge, after 1 week of complain no resolution.
      I have words with their manager and said you will receive a phone call within 48 hour but no call after 96 hour.
      They just urinate on INDIA PM digital India initiates.

        Every second week my connection got issue, it shows bad connection due to bad weather. But the weather is always good, bright & sunny.
        After calling to customer care they always says we will charge rs 225 for the visit. They are making only money after doing faulty service every time.
        There service guys is making fool to the customer & only doing faulty service so that they can come again & again.
        Customer care is pathetic.
        I am fed up of this connection.

          I am a customer of yours since 2005. My tatasky account no.[protected] and my registered mobile no.[protected].
          I am a customer of yours since 2005. Since then i have not faced any complaint from your side.

          On 14.08.2017 i have lodged a complaint i. E. The tv picture hangs out.

          On the second day technician from m/s apical enterprises came and changed the connector.

          The problem in my tv did not resolve.

          Again i lodged the complaint.

          Next day technician came and said that there is a problem in wire. Wire is to be changed. He changed the wire.

          The problem in my tv did not resolve.

          Again i lodged the complaint.

          Technician came and said that the set top box is required to be changed and he replaced the set top box with the another old set top box. The technician name is mr suman

          Problem did not resolve.

          Again i lodge a complaint.

          Technician came and again he said that your box was ok and he change that set top box and exchanged that with my set top box which is installed in my next room.

          The problem is resolved in my first tv but the second tv started giving that problem.

          Today again i lodged a complaint. Technician came and now he said that the dish is required to be changed.

          Now please tell me that what is this drama going on.

          In every visit technician insist to change one by one item installed in my house.

          Today i have recharged my tv then i came to know about the charges i have to pay. I am very much frustrated to see the charges which i have to pay for the problem which is still exists.

          And why i should pay the charges for the set top box which my old set top box? (The problem still exist)

          Why should i pay the charges to the for technician visit, for which your representatives at customer care says that there is no charges for technician visit.

          Sir, i am sending this mail with the highest level of frustration and i would request you to kindly waive off the charges which you or your party m/s apical enterprises has levied on me as the problem after changing above devices still exists.

          Worst service, few of channels have signal issue, not able to view few subscribed channel.why I should pay money for engineer visit if this problem is raised at tatasky...

            After purchase of a new sony tv by me since the sound of new tv set was not satisfactory, on the advice of installing person of company, i complained at your tata sky service centre at suyog borivali west. Shri satish of tata sky came to check and assured he will come sunday morning to check and replace the set of top box. I am complaining that he has still not come. Please send someone who will check the set of top box and do needful.

              If no signals is coming then you guys should come for free of cost and check problem why should we have to pay for just to checking problems. We are paying so much money every month. If there is some issue with part then you guys can ask money but for just checking. Doesnot make sense. If this is going to continue we have to switch to some other company

                  In 2 years my tata sky package price has increased by 25% from 440/- to 549/-. As another consumer has pointed out, every 2-3 months the price is increased; this frequency also seems to be increasing. For instance, my recharge amount in may was 525/-, in june it became 535/-, in july 549/-, implying monthly price increases now! When we question nodal office or even mds office, we get the same standard response which has been copy pasted here. We need a strong consumer organisation or consumer movement to protect our rights otherwise companies will just take existing customers for granted since they can't do anything. Trai should allow connection mobility for dth services as well, so that existing consumers are protected from monopolistic practices.

                  Hi, Tata Sky... Well we keep receiving this same response to our complaints and queries whether we write to Customer care or Nodal Office or on a public forum. Like I said probably the same ambiguous message is copy pasted to every complaint. Can you be more specific on
                  1. What are these 'costs' that compel a TATA group company to pass on each increase as frequently as EVERY MONTH to burden their consumers. Not even the local cable service providers used to do this!
                  2. How exactly do you propose to increase the quality of service ? So far it is nothing to write home about. At the slightest breeze, my set top box switches off signals citing bad weather. For any visit, we need to pay extra. So I am not sure what you mean by 'service' commitment.
                  Please do respond point by point for our better understanding; don't paste the standard response that you have been forwarding.

                  A new development from Tata Sky or should I call it a new trick... Not only are they raising prices at every opportunity but now they have started advancing recharge dates probably hoping that consumers are naive enough not to notice. They have deactivated my connection by arbitrarily advancing my recharge date by 3 days!! They started sending reminders about 6 days earlier, I duly informed nodal office that my payment was till after the date mentioned, however received no satisfactory response. Then the connection was deactivated 3 days before the actual recharge date! No response from nodal officer/MDs office despite a couple of mails to restore connection.

                      Sir i am having one tata sky connection with customer id [protected]. Since last 10 days i am facing the issue of channels which is getting disturbed and the message is coming that due to bad weather box is not receiving the signals.
                      Today i called to tata sky service center for the same matter and reply was that there may be rain so this problem is occuring so wait till the whether cleared anf if engineer will visit it will be chargeable. But there is no rain here since morning. Can you please suggest me that we should watch tv in rainy season or not? Coz every day i am facing same problem and if engineers will visit us it will not be cost effective to be with tata sky...
                      Intead of giving soluation tata sky representatives suggest me to cancel the tata sky service...

                        Dear sir / madam,

                        Compalint 1 :

                        I have recently recharged tata sky dth for 6 monthds via https://www.mytatasky.com. i logged into their web site and selected the package for 6 months duration and made the net transfer accordingly.

                        However the balance got over within 3 months. I called up customer care and they mentioned that previous package got continued. I repeatedly asked them why it applied the old package as i have clearly selected the different package for 6 months from their web site itself and done the net transfer.

                        I chosen the package for 6 months from their web site itself and it must be valid for 6 months and selected package should apply.

                        As per the customer care, looks like recharing via their web site by selecting package and durtion is not sufficient, looks like call need to be made explicityly to customer care to apply the new package.

                        This is totally cheating, at least their web site should mention or alert to call customer care to apply new package. Please take stern action so they don;t cheat other customers.

                        Complaint #2 :

                        They have charged additional 300 rs after installation. I raised the complaint and so far no proper response. They simply mentioned that it is meterial cost. They didn;t use any extra wiring or connectors so they should not charge additiaonal 300 rs.

                        Dth and broadband services in india is really really pathetic. They promptly collect the money, services are really very poor.

                        Kindly take stern action to ensure they pay for their bad service

                        The issue is not resolved . Tata Sky agreed that it is faulty web site design . If we select new package and renew it for long duration ( e.g: 6 months ), looks like new package doesn;t get applied . It doesn;t even alert customers to contact customer care to update the new package . It is purely tata sky issue and they can;t make me to pay for their web site or process issues .

                        Please help me to get the services restored for next 3 months 15 days as per my selected package

                          Amount of 8417 has been deducted however tata sky claims amount is not paid to them by kotak bank. Now they have suspended the services. Both parties are not willing to refund the amount.
                          I have been contacting both parties via phone call. I have also sent an email to tata sky however they are not willing to accept because bank has not transferred the amount. It's real pain to do the following up in this matter. Tata sky has not stopped the channels.

                              I recharged my tata sky account with rs. 140 and recharged it through mvisa but due to some technical/network issue recharge was failed and contacted to customer care and asked them for refund. Customer care asked me to wait for 10 days at max and i will get the cashback directly in my bank account within 10 days but now its 13th day and still not received my money. Customer care asking me to wait for few days and they will take my request again and money will come after 10 days more...

                                I tried recharging rs 200 from by using that facility and rs 200 was deposited from my indusind bank account but my dth is not recharged. I tried calling bank they said that amount is accepted by tatasky. Then i called tata sky they are telling that they did not received any amount. I provided tata sky with transaction id of the transfer still they are unable to find my amount. I tried this transaction on 16 aug 2017, bank and tatasky both are blaming each other and nobody is providing me with the solution. Please help. I have already wasted a lot of time in it. Either i should get refund or my dth should b recharged. I hope u will look into the matter.

                                  Tata sky subscriber id - [protected]

                                  I ordered an additional connection over my existing one through the customer care number of tata sky. They took down the request and scheduled a visit of the engineer between 4-5 pm on 19/08/2017. The technician then completed the installation and set-up process by 6 pm the same day. Due to some technical glitches at tata sky's end the activation process could not get completed. The technician and their local office did not have a clue about what was happening and why it wasn't getting activated. So i called up the customer care and told them about the issue, to which, they replied that it will be done within half an hour. The technician on the other hand talked to the local office and said that it will be activated after 4 hrs and had no reason or logic to this.
                                  At around 8 pm the same day, the technician calls me and asks me to recharge the account by rs 200/-, which i do, but even then the connection doesn't get activated. I call up the technician again, but he says that he has left for home and would now be able to help me out only the next morning.
                                  I call up the customer care again and tell them about the chain of events and ask them to activate my account as i have paid 200 rupees for activation as told by the technician and that he has left for home. The person on the phone has no clue on why that 200 was charged and why the account was not getting activated. I ask him to forward the call to his senior. He transfers the call to some mr. Prakash, who again has no clue and just keeps giving me false assurances.
                                  Then i take the matter to twitter. The twitter handle of tata sky keeps engaging me again with false assurances till midnight and still nothing happens.
                                  Till 10 am on 20/08/2017 my connection was not activated. At around 11 am, the technician arrives at my home to collect the payment. I ask him to pull back the connection and take it away with him as i'm fed up of the services. He then makes me talk to their local office employees.
                                  Now, there the staff tells me that i needed to do a recharge of rs 200/- as it is mandatory for the existing account to have a minimum balance of rs 150/- to get an additional connection. Since by balance was some rs 90/-, the connection was not activated.

                                  Now, the questions which arise are:-

                                  1) this same local staff which is giving me this reason after 16 hrs for the account not being activated did not have any clue on 19th july at the time of set up as to why it was not getting activated.

                                  2) why on the very first conversation and the time of taking down the request, the call center team did not inform me about this?

                                  3) why on repeatedly calling the call center and tweeting to their handle, they did not have an answer to my query and kept me waiting for endless hours.

                                  4) if it really was about the recharge, why did the account not get activated once the recharge was done.

                                  This throws light on the following things:-

                                  1) employees of tata sky are not trained and do not have a product knowledge.

                                  2) they do not care about customers as in this case they just kept me waiting & waiting with false assurances.

                                  3) even to this time of writing this, i have not got a call, a tweet, a message or any other thing on asking me the status of my problem and its resolution. This shows the arrogance of this company and insensitiveness towards its customers.

                                  A strict action must be taken or the monopoly of this company in the market and its arrogance is going to make many more people suffer.

                                  Since morning can't view any channel.The screen on the tv keep showing message "Your box is not receiving signal".It's more than 5 hrs now since the issue has occurred.The customer care number even is busy for last one and half hour.Request you to please fix the issue as soon as possible.

                                  My connection was deactivated on 23rd August (image enclosed) despite my having paid (recharged) till 26th August. Why? I have written many mails to Nodal Office but they have not responded. How can Tata Sky just deactivate a service that has been paid for... That too after information to the nodal office! In case Tata Sky wants to unilaterally disconnect my connection, I demand refund of total installation cost... Of course the company can take back it's equipment I. E. Dish, STB etc.

                                    Dear respective,
                                    I am an ideal customer of tata sky last many years.in my subscriber id the dhamal mix annual pack was going.in this offer pack we were getting the facility of hd channels without any interruption. On 16.8.2017 the package has been expired. According to your add i have decided to put again the same pack semi annuals.
                                    As per your add price of semiannual rs. 1695/- it is showing that hd channels also covered. I have been recharged on line on dt 17.8.2017 of rs. 1695/- but there is many variance upcoming on your declearance -

                                    1. Hd channels are not covered in this pack price but you have not mentioned anywhere that additional charged to be paid for availing hd channels under this pack.
                                    2. You have clearly not mention pack price + additional amount for hd channels to be paid by the customer.
                                    3. You are not liable on your commitment.
                                    4. I have been recharged of rs. 1695/- but balance amount isstill showing only rs.3/-.

                                    Regarding above problems/matter i have talked to your tata sky no [protected] on dt 20.8.2017 timely 4.45 a. M. But after dissection with mr. Kranti have not satisfied me of my quarry and was not replied properly to the point.

                                    Dear sir i would be oblige if you provide me the hd entertainment facility as per my expectation which covered the recharged amount & not to pay further additional amount for hd facility.
                                    Please short out the matter within 7 days otherwise i will go through legally by forum.

                                    My tata sky set up box not receiving signal subscriber id - [protected]. It says due to bad weather or cloudy but this is not the case. Weather is sunny and this is not for one day, since last 5 days it is happening and I am not able to watch tv. Please help
                                    No signal from 4 days please check it and solve this problem. I don't see any channel because your poor service.

                                      They go increasing subscription charges every year.
                                      I'm perplexed with the attitude of nodal officer lack or response to my mail n no avenue to contact the appellate authority... Proof is yesterday someone from tata sky calls my wife n not me! Why?? Another proof is this message... Sub id : [protected].

                                      Your tata sky long duration pack/s is due tomorrow. To enjoy uninterrupted viewing for the next term you need an account balance of rs.4895. Recharge now. To know packs held give a missed call on [protected] from your rmn.

On 13th august i have complained file a complaint on tata sky customer care that my tata sky setup box is not working. They said i am send our technician to check your setup box when he come he said it is defected and it is changed when you convert your setup box in hd the company gave you a 3 months hd channels free on you tata sky. But after the installation on 20th august no channel will come on my tv. When i call them now they said the hd channels are free only for one month only when you recharge your base pack. Then why they said that hd channels are free on your tata sky i'd. Please reply me fast what can i do.

                                        Sir, we dismantled Tata Sky on 08.08.2017 by Tata Sky distributor in DD Colony, Hyderabad.Even after several requests no body is coming for fixing in Tirupati, Padmavathipuram.
