I have Placed an online order vide order no.[protected] for Samsung Corby 3G worth Rs. 9489. The amount was deducted from my Account, but I didnt receive the Handsets. Few days later they called me up and stated that order was cancelled due non availability of stock, and money will be refunded in 14 working days. Now more than 3 months have passed, the money is not yet refunded, and they have not sent me the Transaction ID of the Refund despite calling them more than 50 times and mailing them more than 25 times. The customer care representatives give wrong information all the time.
THIS IS NOTHING BUT A GROSS CHEATING.
Please if anybody can help me becoz 10000 is not a small money, and they are just harassing me.

    I had purchased 2 mobile phones from the mobile store website. the mobile phones are Ray M31 and C25, order number[protected]. The amount charged was Rs. 1998. Of this the amount, Rs.1009.00 for C25 was refunded within one week due to non availability. But the M31 mobile was not delivered for 3 weeks. After numerous complaints, the asked to collect a M31 handset, but it was damaged. I did not accept it. But now, till date they have not refunded the payment nor have they refunded the balance amount.

    As proof i have the online payment confirmation receipt and also the email communication done with the mobile store.

    Please help.

      I had purchased Samsung GT – B5722 (product description- [protected])Duos from The Mobile store at Kolkata – at Spencer’s out let at Avishar Shopping complex at Kalikapur on 30th July’ 10 invoice WB/ 46697. On 15th Aug I discovered that there are around 64 pictures which was already stored in the memory card which are of old dates before the set was purchased. Further after verification we found that there was 2 labels sealed above each other on the box. The most important thing I discovered that no MRP and date of manufacturing was mentioned or printed on the box. When I contacted the shop where I had purchased the set, the simply refused to take any action or lodge a complaint as it was more than 2 days of purchase. But the question is how come a new sealed pack can contain an old used mobile/memory card containing lots of personal photographs. Usually, we don’t expect such a good brand of product sold at such a reputed store sell old products at the new cost. Another thing how can such a reputed store sell a branded product without MRP printed at it. The mobile didn't had any protection skin on the screen.

        Dear Sir

        I have purchased a NOKIA E63 ESN [protected] handset from THE MOBILE STORE UDAIPUR retails store dated 11/08/2010 in the name o[censored]MESH KHANDELWAL Address : 3/214 GOVERDHAN VILLAS UDAIPUR . The Wi Fi Services of this handset did not working from the begning but the store incharges told me the handset has no other problem and this service will work within few hour but that services was not start.

        Next day i was submitted this handset to THE MOBILE STORE UDAIPUR and the emlpoyee were tryed to start this services upto 3 hours but that services was not start.

        Next day I was took this handset to NOKIA CARE and told them about all incident. they check this handset upto 2 hour and they restore the software of it. meanwhile this handset become dead at nokia care and it was not even operable.

        Than i submit this handset to THE MOBILE STORE udaipur and I taken the receiving of the HANDSET from LOCAL THE MOBILE STORE udaipur with confirmation and assurance of replacement of handset by MR. RAVI SHARMA ( Rajasthan Head The Mobile Store) and LOCAL The Store Employee . Due to unavailability of basic services of the NOKIA E63, The mobile (PRODUCT) has breached the sale contract at the first instance.

        Now i need my handset should be replace by THE MOBILE STORE UDAIPUR at local level. Kindly do action against local vendor for WRONG SEALING PRODUCT and HIDE the important information about the Handset as well as TERM & CONDITIONS.

        We have all the supporting document which show that THE LOCAL VENDOR admit & promise to replace the handset at his end.
        1. Bill of Purchase
        2. Nokia Services Job Sheet which shows Application : Performance / Usability Failure
        3. Acceptance of Handset receiveing and and replacements letter by THE MOBILE STORE UDAIPUR (Seal & signature)

        The Mobile Store — replacement

        dear sir
        i have purchased a samsung cdma handset w339(duo) of tata on 26/12/2008 from the mobile store (flames mall,Ludhiana).
        now it was some problem in that and samsung service center has issued me a Replacement certificate and said you can replace the handset from the mobile store.
        but when i visited the mobile store on 18/11/2009,they had said that we cant replace the handset.
        then i again visited the samsung service center and talk to their officials,they said we are only for service,you go to the mobile store only.
        then on 20/11/2009 again i visited the mobile store and they said we will ask from our operations head for that.
        on 24/11/2009 when i visited the mobile store they said we cant replace the handset.
        today its 28/11/2009 ,and still i am waiting for the response.
        when i asked why, it is still in warrenty period, they abuses me very badly,and said get out from the store and dont come again,we cant replace your handset.
        now plz clarify me why the mobile store cant replace the handset,when it is in warrenty period.
        and i when i asked the contact number of higher officials of the mobile store from the employees they abuses me.
        so i am very much annoyed from the employees of the mobile store(flames mall,ludhiana),plz note the complaint against two employees who has abuses me badly, the names are 1. Ratanjit kaur and 2.Manish...
        plz take some action against them,so they can learn how to deal with customers.
        and plz replace my handset ASAP.
        looking forward to your positive response..

          Next day That handset i was submitted to the mobile store and they tried till 3 hours. but that services was not start.

They said to me that this handset have performace / usability failure.

          Than i submit this handsetto the vender (THE MOBILE STORE BAPU BAZAR) after taking the receiving of the HANDSET with the confirmation and assurance of replacement from MR. RAVI SHARMA ( Rajasthan Head , The mobile store ) . Due to unavailability of basic services of the NOKIA E63 the mobile (PRODUCT) has breached the sale contarct.
          Now The local store is not ready to replace.
          Kindly do needful to replace the product

          Mobile Store — False offers

          MOBILE STORE, the mobile shop is still cheating customers by faulse offers. I have bought a Samsung Mobile from their Hosur (TN) shop last year worth about Rs.6000/- and the offer was assured free gift worth equivalent value of the mobile. The shop keeper promised to get the free gift sent to my address but even after one year I have no news. I have reminded them several times and except for the reassurance I have not got any free gift, as offered by them, . till today I believe they are using this offer to fool customers. My bad experience did not stop with this. The instrument I have purchased also gone bad within one year, though it was a branded one.

            Sir/ Madam.

            Its approx 45 days have been passed and i didnt get my invoice copy. I had never expected such a delayed and pathetic response from you. May i misunderstood your company as responsible and good in customer service but you failed upon my expectations miserably. When ever your representative called me they used to ask same question several times (that give them my emei no). several times i told them that i dont have that number as my box is lost and if would be having that number may be i would not be disturbing you. I have given you the date of purchase and the credit card number also from which i had done the purchase. If now i didnt get the invoice copy i will lodge an online complaint in consumer court. Also i will mention the matter on consumercomplaints.in , worldtradelaw.com and other several related websites.

              Purchased a E71 on June 6th. Faulty phone. No replacement given, when taken to store the very next day. After 2 weeks, agreed for 85%, but forced to buy a X6, as no stock for other phones. X6 also damaged from day one. No responsibility taken for same. Made me spend, 18k, for a phone worth 15.9k which is faulty, and 2 months of frustration.

                Hi,

                On 1st Aug 2010, we went to “The Mobile Store, Brehmen Chowk, Pune” to enquire and buy a mobile handset which has both 3G-Video calling and Wi-Fi. I clearly stated my requirement in front of the sales person. The sales person showed me some handsets having such features. We asked him to give us some time and we started deciding. During our discussion, the store manager interrupted us and asked us to go for Nokia C5-00, which has both the features (Video calling and Wi-Fi). We asked him again and again about the features and he told us that it has got both the features.

                We saw the seal was broken and when we asked about it, the store manager (Amol S. Hase-ID[protected] assured us that since there is no dummy available with him, he had to break the seal. Still we believed the person and bought Nokia C5-00 from “The Mobile Store, Brehmen Chowk, Pune”.

                When we were going through the user manual, we could not find anything about Wi-Fi. So, we searched in the internet about Nokia C5-00 and after several searches, we could get to know that the mobile does not have Wi-Fi feature from the following URL- http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/nokia-mobile-c54533.html

                We went to the same store again and asked the store manager about Wi-Fi. He clearly told that he has never mentioned about Wi-Fi and rather accused us that, “since it costs much, we don’t want to use this mobile and telling all such things. He even told that the sales person who had been showing the products is a promoter from SAMSUNG. When I asked the person to show his ID card, he did not have any and he told that it is not provided to them.

                Even my husband politely asked him to suggest any way to get that returned and get another handset which has both the features (3G-Video calling and Wi-Fi), he told if we return it between 14 days, there will be a deduction of 15% amount of the mobile.
                After repetitively asking about both the features, if the store manager has told wrong information and then later declining about not giving any wrong information, it is his responsibility to get the handset returned without any amount.
                Till the time we have been using the mobile inside its cover. It’s not even scratched.

                Please do the needful, as we are not being able to use the product whole-heartedly and losing our valuable time because of someone’s decisive promotional activities. It’s getting bothersome for us.

                  I had booked my order online at The Mobile Store (Order No.[protected]

                  I had placed an online order for Nokia N900 handset online on 16th of July, 2010 and promptly paid Rs. 25079 By Credit Card.
                  I had to call the customer care at least 7 times just to know the fact that the said handset was unavailable and its availability could not be ascertained in next few weeks.
                  The alternate choice was also not available.
                  Consequently, I canceled the order on 21st of July,2010. I was told that someone from accounts department will contact me within 48 hours and tell about the refund.
                  Now, it is almost 15 days and i have no clue when i will get the refund.

                  Kindly expedite the matter and get my amount refunded at the earliest. They should not have booked the order in first place if they did not have the handsets available. This is exploiting the trust people have in the brand.
                  i am very disappointed by their attitude.

                    I bought Samsung s5233 From The Mobile Store , yamunanagar branch on sept 9,2009. i got the temporary bill (hand written) that time.i went the next day & i got the printed bill on fax paper..after 5 months in Feb, my handset started giving me some problem i checked it out at the samsung mobile service centre & got to know that it got some problem,after 4months again i had some problem with handset And this time touch wasnt aligned,i took out my bill to give to the service centre but all the printing details had been faded. so i went to the mobile store & they said they cudnt print the bill because their printer is not working,i went again 3-5 times but same response finally they agreed to give me the bill a week later & to my surprise the bill had a different customer name,different address but same IMEI No: as on my original faded bill..
                    question arises; how is it possible to have one packed sealed handset with two different bills comprising same IMEI no;?
                    Hadnt been i cheated?
                    overall, the other bill suggests the name of the person who came to give the cell for repair (touch wasnt working) a week before i purchased the cell.i went to the mobile store that day to choose the cell for me n then week later i bought the sealed handset.
                    i knew the person because he was my schoolmates father.
                    so this cud be another reason for nt giving me the bill the second time i went

                    please dont go for mobile store they are cheaters,moreover i dint got the 5% cash back form for this cell,i went their every second day uptil 20 dec,2009 to get the form but all in vain .

                      My name is Kunal Patil and I am a resident of Bopodi, Pune. I had purchased an LG mobile from The Mobile Store. While purchasing the mobile The Moile Store will be providing service for all its products. I had given my mobile to them on the 16th of June for repairs, they returned my phone on the 21st without solving any of the issues and deleted all my contacts instead.
                      I gave the phone back for repairs on the 22nd of June and they still have not returned it to me. I have been in regular follow up for it but still of no use. I have vistied the store 4 times since then but it was of no use. Instead they are now arguing and fighting with me stating that its not their problem and I can do nothing to them as they are a very big brand.
                      Now they have asked me to take up the issue directly with LG. The Mobile Store has cheated me and are refusing to repair my mobile and return it either.

                      Please help me with the issue!

                      I had a mobile repaired at The Mobile Store, Salt Lake, Kolkata shop on 12/05/09. The LCD was broken and they repaired it at a fee of Rs. 1300. On 05/08/09, the LCD started developing problems again. I went to the shop and told them that its a new LCD how could it develop problems again, they should repair it at no additional cost. They rather refused it and said that I will have to pay another Rs. 1300 to get it repair again. I smelt a foul play there. It seems that they have installed an old LCD into my mobile set and that is why it has developed problems. I told them about the foul play and they kept mum. So it was clear from that this shop is cheating its customers.

                      I need justice. Is there a way I can get it?

                        I wanted a mobile which was not in stock in local stores, so booked it online at mobile stores online shopping portal www.themobilestore.in.
                        I booked the mobile using my debit card on 6th June 2010, but till date (11/6/2010) I have not got a single status mail or call from the mobile store.
                        I called 3 times to their Toll free customer care number and they just said that they will forward the complaint to the concerned department and I will get a response from their representative within 24 hours.
                        Already 5 days are over and I didn't get a single call from their H.O or the local vendor.
                        The status on their portal says "vendor allocated". The customer care have no idea about the status and they simply either take a complaint or ask us to wait for one more day. They have no detailed information on the status as to what is the exact problem or when they can possibly ship the product or why the delay happened. They have no access to online information and it seems they are 3rd party call centre who can only send mails to a non existent customer support department.
                        Finally I have given-up on them and planning to purchase a new mobile tomorrow and cancel the order with mobilestore, but there is no provision for cancellation and I feel completely cheated.
                        My sincere advice to all is "Avoid Mobile Store online shopping portal".

                        I'm happy to inform that just a day after submitting the above complaint, I got my handset and also very good response from Mobile Store online.
                        Even the local vendor of Ameerpet has demonstrated the features very nicely and I am now very much satisfied by the service and support of Mobile Store.

                          <b><u><strong>The mobile store is a big cheat company. </u></strong></b>They do not value the customers. I have purchased Blackberry Curve in 5% cash back in the month of August and yet to receive the refund. More than 10 times in the month of Oct-Dec 2009, i have called them and every time they are having excuses that the DD is dispatched. In the month of February (03/02/2010 ) I have requested the call center to provide me the request number and received one i.e. R[protected]... and post that almost 20-25 calls were made and the every time same answers given by the company.[protected]never tell any one to buy goods from the mobile store...as this company is cheat.

                            I purchased a Samsung mobile phone M2710 from The Mobile Stores Ltd, MI road, opp Ganpati Plaza, Jaipur on 20/01/2010. At that time the store offered some assured gift on all purchase. On scratching the card I was informed that assured gift was a travel package and microwave oven. As per terms and conditions given with the gift voucher I paid Rs 100/- through draft and I sent the voucher and photocopy of invoice to the Countrywide Holidays Pvt Ltd. I got a confirmation SMS from them about receiving of documents and draft of Rs100/- on 12/02/2010. Gift was supposed to be received in 4 to 6 weeks. Its now more than 3 months and haven't received any updates from them. My gifts claim no. is TK[protected]/TMS/15475/3237. From past two month, whenever I have contacted them on telephone, I was informed that gifts will be send in next week.

                            Please take up the matter with appropriate/concerned person/authority for the gift.

                              I bought a Samsung Corby S3653 Corby mobile handset from The Mobile Store,Shop No.3&4,Amar Manor ,80/3,Pune-Solapur Road,Wanorie,Pune on Nov 4,2009 vide Invoice No.MH5488 for Rs.8569.01.On scratching the discount card I got 5%.
                              The money back form with all necessary documents was sent by post to their Chennai Office on Dec12,2009 but till date I haven't received the money back of 5% from them even after more than 4 months have passed.
                              Kindly look into the matter.

                                  I have Purchased BlackBerry 8520 Curve Handset from THE MOBILE STORE shop in Nehru Place, New Delhi on 13.10.2009. Invoice No is PB3018. The Mobile Store had launched 5% to 55% cash back scheme at that time. I was given a scratch card and i got 5 % cash Back. To avail my cash back i have to send bill copy, sctrach card and money back form to their Chennai Office. I have sent all the required documents along with form. Many times i complaint to Mobile Store customer care that i didnt received my cash back against your offer. They registered my complaint and SIR no. is R[protected] dated 30.3.10. Now no one is listening and Customer Care executives refused for the payment.
                                  I had also purchased a handset and got 25% discount on scratch card in October 2009. The required forms were duly sent and also scanned copies sent thru email. Now I have been trying to get in touch with the so called "Customer care" of Mobile store, but the emails remain unanswered and if you are able to connect over phone the standard reply is that they will get in touch with concerned department. I REQUEST ALL THAT DO NOT FALL PREY TO VARIOUS SCHEMES LAUNCHED BY MOBILE STORE - MORE SO THE "CASH BACK" SCHEME AS YOU WILL NEVER GET IT. I have been trying to get it for last 8 months now for 25% cash back that was promised a year back.
                                  SO BEWARE.

                                    I had purchased 2 mobiles from The Mobile store at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi in October 2009 & received 2 scratch coupons for 5% cash back on these mobiles. The said coupons alongwith the request form for refund of 5% cash back each was sent to The Mobile Store office in November 2009 & the same was confirmed recieved in their office in First week of December. As was mentioned in their request form that the refund of cash back will be sent within 6 weeks of receipt of the request form, I called their office in Jan 2010 & was informed that my requests are under process. I have been calling their offices since Jan 2010 to get my refund & I have been repetedly told that the cheques are being made & I shall receive them within few days. In my call to their office reference no. R[protected] on 14/2/10 I was assured that cheques are being made & shall be despatched within 5 - 7 days. When I did not receive the cheques till first week of March I contacted again & was told that cheques are ready & will be despatched on 6/3/10. However till today, i.e., 13/04/10 no cheques haves been received by me. I think such a big organisation either can't afford mere Rs. 1000/- to refund to their customers or they are trying to make a fool of the customer by launching these type of offers so that they can increase their sales & just harras the customer. Request if you can help in getting the refund.

                                    The Mobile Store — Did Not return cheque on buying mobile from the ' THE MOBILE STORE' under a scheme of 5% cash back

                                    I have buy the Samsung mobile from THE MOBILE STORE and there was an offer of 5% cash back.I have submitted my all document in the month of August and when ever I make a call they said that "sir your cheque is already dispatched " but till now I did'nt receive any cheque or cash
                                    The mobile store people are cheaters. They cheated me too on cash back offer scheme. Recommended not to buy any product from mobile store, and let many people aware of the cheating scheme by mobile store.

                                    Even i have purchased the blackberry and not received the promised 5% cash back. I think the company is cheat, and will advice none to buy from this company.
                                    After reading your post, i am confident that they are in no mood of returning the 5%, cash back. My request ID is R[protected], logged on 03/02/2010 and had many followups. I believe they do not have escalation matrix.

                                    The Mobile Store — Cash Back

                                    I purchased a mobile handset Samsung-S5233, from The Mobile Store in August last year. They had a promotional offer of 5% cash back going on. But since the last year I have not received the cash back. Repeated calls to The Mobile Store Customer Care yield no results. I have called them 4-5 times since last year. They always assure me that they will call the next day, but I never get the call.
                                    I request you to help me in getting my money back.

                                    I have purchased Lumia 520 yellow, which have extremely heating issue.i have handed over handset with all accesories in mobilestore on same day and this is first time when purchased mobile from mobile store and its a very bad experience with it.I am chsing up with all guys but not getting any response.

                                      I am facing problem with The Mobile Store from last 4 Month.

                                      With the help of this E-Mail i want to communicate you that i have purchase Sonyericsson phone model number W-995 (Progressive black)from one of The Mobile Store in Oct 04-09 ,20:19 located in Dwarka sec-6(New Delhi) and paid a sum of INR 20799 via valid Invoice No:-DE1819, EMEI NO.[protected] as per the promotional offer i avail 5% Discount on the same,and i was comminicated to me by store manager that for this i needs to sent it to ' The Mobile Store , Money Back, Plot no. -B 27 Syrma Building Chennai,Postal- 600045 & all required document sent on same address(30 Nov. 2009)by TNT Courier (DO[protected]WW).

                                      And I am touch with customer care of mobile store for last 3 months, but I don't get any response & I am unable to talk
                                      with the shift manager.
                                      & As per customer care, their is no office available of mobile store in Delhi & if i want to talk with any one about my request then i go to Mumbai.

                                        Hi,
                                        Please beware of this company's offers, they give an offer at a very low price and then do not deliver the handset. I placed an order in march but product is still not delivered. Their customer service is pathetic.

                                        After calling around 20 - 30 times they are telling that the phone is out of stock and i have to pay more to buy a different phone. Still not recevied any phone from themobilestore.in
                                        Even I am experiencing the same. placed an order on march 12th still did not receive either the phone or my money.
