TO WHOME IT MAY CONCERN

I Purchased a Nokia E71 mobile from Mobile Store Malviya Nagar branch invoice no. DL/1169/00001/4810 dated 19/09/2009, and that time I was promised that I will get a free schnizer headphone worth Rs. 2000 but I have not received the free gift as yet. Moreover whenever I call to the store the Store manager does not come up on phone and their executives always promise me that I will received the gift within one or two days and after waiting for two three days when I call them they don’t pick my phone.
When I told them that I will file a complaint and will take a strict legal action against them then they told me “Ok no problem do whatever you want to do”.
Please do need full on my complaint and give me the schnizer headphone as soon as possible and take the strict action against the wrong doers.
Copy of this complaint letter is kept with me for further reference.

    We purchased a phone online on Oct20 2009. I called them on 24Oct that their product is not yet deleivered. CC execuive says " it takes 3 days" so u should get it very soon.
    I raised a complaint C[protected] and then followed up 3/4 times over next 3/4 days...Standard response: "Sir we have not received any response on the complaint. We cant do much. Someone will call"

    I am not sure if ever I will get a call - I see this is a scheme to get the money first in their pockets and then let customer run around.

    It is high time complies realize that if they cant execute well, then they better not open a business. Jus having few stores and a website does not meean you know how to run a business.

    very bad experience with themobilestore.in. Not sure baout others, atleast they have lost business from me buying from them even in future.

    The only suggestion to this company is to go for cash on delivery mode. Atleast, on their own they will realize how delayed delivery and pathetic customer service affects them.

    Hopefully, I will either get my money back or the product very soon....

      This to bring to your notice regarding totally unacceptable custommer service by the mobile store.
      I made a purchase of nokia E71 on 6th sept 2009 which had a gift of 'Reebok aviator sunglass'.

      After billing the store manager Mr. Sandeep( mobile no. [protected]) said that the said gift is not available and it will come within next two days .

      After calling again and again for one and half month gift was still not available and then my call was not being answered after that. Being irritated when I went to the shop on 21/10/09 , I was given a choice to either take a T- shirt or quit as the said sunglass will not be available for next 6 months and I had to leave with the T-shirt.

      This shows total negligence of the customer on the store manager's part and even talking to his superior Mr. Deepak(mobile no.-[protected]) was in vain.

      I made a very big mistake buying a cell phone worth Rs. 18,000 from Mobile Store. All was well till the time I handed the money over to them. I was supposed to get a 8GB card and a t-shirt with the cell phone. After 3 calls and 15 days, they gave me the card. It's been about 3 months, and I have called them over 10 times and visited the shop over 3 times but they still haven't given me the t-shirt. I get the same answer every time, "We will call you when we have it."
      Obviuosly, they never called. I would recommend all my fellow consumers to stay from shoddy companies like Mobile Store and buy instead from reliable outlets or reliable online stores.

      In sept 2013 i purchased samsung galaxy S4 worth Rs 40000 to which they gave me an extended warranty for it to which they charged me for it and i had accepted it, lately I started having issues with my mobile and it used to keep restarting every now and then so in Decemeber i gave my handset to "The Mobile Store" to get it done, they had my handset for 20-25 days and when they gave it to me it was fine but after 10-15 days it started facing the same problem and I felt that it was not been serviced properly and the problem is not resolved so i went back to the store telling about my problem and they said they would give me cell back and assured me that the problem will resolve and they took 40 days and still i did not get any reply from them inspite going to the store they did not provide me with a proper response nor was i attended properly at the store, today when i went in the morning i yelled about my problem and they gave me reasons saying that they have not received any response about my phone and were giving me vague reasons so I left from the store then after 2 3 hours I suddenly got a call from the "store" saying that my phone was come and i should collect it from them by evening, i was surprisingly shocked that the person who was telling me in the morning that they did not know when will they get my cell suddenly they received it in 2 hours, still without thinking much I went to the store and collected my handset and asked what was the problem so they gave me a weird answer saying that "I had updated the phone software manually over wi-fi from kit-kat to Lollipop and so i am facing this issue because according to them android has not released the lollipop version for android and i installed it from an external source and so i was facing this problem, i tried explaining it to them that i was facing this issue right before i updated my phone to lollipop but they had their weird arguments which i could not digest so i just took the handset and left and now not even 24 hours i started facing the same problem and my handset is giving trouble again as it is restarting again to which i am very agitated and irritated.
      I request you to help me out with this matter and bring a solution to my problem.

        I purchased a new Virgin handset Virgin VTrendy IMEI : 803A810D from The Mobile Shop 1/6967, Shop No 7, Rohtash Nagar, Main Road, Opp Subhiksha, Shahdara, New Delhi on 7/10/2009.
        The phone was purchased to be gifted to my mother. On 9/10/2009, when she tried to use the phone with her current virgin sim (Mob no [protected]), the phone failed to detect the network. I immediately rushed to the above mentioned store and the person asked me to get a DOA certificate from the virgin service center Yamuna Vihar Delhi.

        The person at the store asked me to get the phone deposited for technical check and the DOA certificate cannot be issued hand to hand. I communicated the same to the Mobile Store and he instructed me to deposit the handset and committed to issue a new handset on the basis of job sheet.

        I am continuously making follow up for the same but no positive action has been taken so far. Please help me to get the handset replaced.

        We are from the mobilestore. As per the policy laid by the manufacturer, if there is any problem in the handset the user is supposed to get the same checked with them.           The Mobile Store / Nokia N73 Music Mobile — Gifted Shoes

          This is a complaint about TheMobileStore at Ludhiana, National Road, Ghumar Mandi, Delhi.

          My name is Gurdeep Singh and I live in Malerkotla PIN 148023 Distt.Sangrur Punjab. Want to tell the harrasment which I am facing from ThemMobileStore. I have purchased a Mobile model no. Nokia N73 Music, IMEI No. [protected] from them in the month of june' 07.

          That time Reebok shoes had been gifted with Nokia N73 Music Mobile. I was told to get shoes after a week. Infact they had given me a written statement to get shoes after a week. Because that time shoes were not available of my size. But after a week when I went to TheMobileStore Ludhiana. They again said that shoes hasn't been arrived. I been so many times to TheMobileStore and called so many times. But all in waste. so till today i am not able to get my shoes.

          I am totally frustated on their services.

          The Mobile Store — Faulty product, farce holiday voucher

          We purchased a Nokia CDMA cell phone from The Mobile Store in March 2008 for Rs. 6000. We were given a Rs. 5000 "worth" holiday voucher, however the terms & conditions of the voucher are such that its practically impossible to redeem it. One had to make the request before July 31st for travelling befoer 30th September (who on Earth plans 2 months in advance!!!) In addition, its not free. One has to pay Rs. 650 per day and send a draft even before the confirmation is recieved.
          Coming to the even more important point. The CDMA phone that we purchased had a faulty battery that hardly lasts for 30 minutes after charging. On making a complaint at The Mobile Store, we were told that the complaint has to be made to Nokia directly and that they cant do anything about it.
          So we have ended up with a Rs. 6000 worth faulty phone and a useless Rs. 5000 worth gift voucher. I would advise everyone to stay away from the mobile store.

          The Mobile Store / Nokia N73 — DEFECT HANDSET

          Sir, I bought a Nokia N73 from the Mobile Store on 30/07/2008. Invoice No. TN / 01124 / 00001 / 8225, I had problem wth the set when I brought home, 2nd day I went to the store and complained that the set hangs while talking, restart automaticaly and switchs off while talking, but the store was not ready to accept it, they said it is normal since it is new, slowly the problem will solve, but this conitues and I complained several times, they were not listening to me.

          Finally I gave the mobile set to the store on 23/10/2006, now they are saying since it is more then 2 months they will not replace, they will do the repair work and give me back. Even they promised me to give the mobile om 24/10/2008 i, e, within next day but today is 29/10/2008 i.e 7 days but when I call them they are giving me excuses not returning my mobile, please help me, please try to replace the hand set with a new one.
          I had bought a Sony Ericsson mobile from mobilestore. I received an assured gift voucher, a holiday package of Rs. 10, 000/- for 3 Nights 4 Days along with my purchase. I called up your concerened travel agent, Travel Port[protected] to make booking for Jaipur. They are offering me normal rooms at Sarang Palace which costs arount Rs. 1800 (un-discounted) per night. Therefore, the cost of the package comes out to be around Rs. 5400/- (un-discounted) only. But my voucher is of Rs. 10, 000. When I expressed my concern regarding the same, they said they cannot help me in this regard.

          I have also tried to contact mobilestore customer care no. 60006363 which is permanently switched off. I have even registered a complaint on mobilestore website and sent a complaint e-mail but have not received any reply to either.

          I would advise all to stay away from mobilestore if you do not want to be cheated.

          The Mobile Store / Nokia — Faulty Mobile Set

          Dear Sir/ Madam,
          i purchased Nokia mobile handset from "The Mobile Store Limited" on Wednesday 04 Feb 2009 in the evening around 7pm.
          The mobile set has not been working properly since the time of purchase. I went and complained about the mobile set to the dealer in the morning next day and asked for a replacement, however the behaviour displayed was highly inappropriate and there was no cooperation extended, followed by which i called Nokia Care's head office in Gurgaon on the number[protected] and to my dismay the behaviour displayed there too was insensitive.
          The irony is Nokia Care tells me to complain the Dealer as it was purchased and i had not completed 24 hours and they can replace it ; and Dealer tells me to complain to Nokia Care which shows the disregard which both of them have towards the customer.
          Now i am finding myself cheated, because i am using a spoilt handset and both Nokia Care and Mobile Store are adamant on their stand, especially the behaviour displayed at the Mobile Store was extremely annoying and disrespectful as they stated openly that nothing could be done to them by anyone.

          Nokia india pvt ltd(n -73) — regarding the nokia N-73

          I have purchase the nokia N-73 mobile dated 14-july-08 containg 1 year warranty in this mobile set during january joystick problem was occure the problem is solved in the same month but after 15-20 day the same problem is arise i see the mobile to nolia care and during submission i conform from the care centre that theproblem is solved without money because it is under warrenty but when my relative go to there shop to collect the mobile they charrges us Rs 700/ I conneted to phone to nokia helpline but no positive feed bak is receive this is my complaint

          The Mobile Store — Cheating in name of ASSURED GIFT

          I purchased a Sony Ericson mobile phone from The Mobile Stores Paschim Vihar Delhi on 25/09/08. At that time the store offered some assured gift on all purchase. On scratching the card I was informed that assured gift was a travel package. As per terms and condtion given with the gift voucher I registered with the Travel Port (agency giving the travel package) on line on 20/03/09 ( Last Date 31/03/09) and paid Rs 999/- thorugh credit card and I sent the voucher and photocopy of invoice to the Travel Port Office Mumbai. I got an email confirming receipt of my voucher. On 08/04/09 I got a letter informing that as I as not available on my mobile number my request was rejected. When I contacted on telephone I was informed that last date is over. One can see that this was done deliberately as I registered 12 days before last date paying the required fee and after that whenever I contacted on telephone I was informed that I would get confirmation letter. Never I was told that answering their call on mobile is must.

          I also sent a complaint on the email id given in the brochure but did not receive any reply, I requested to refund my money paid by credit card but did not receive any communication.

          This is a clear case of cheating - instead of giving any gift as assured the mobile store has cheated me of Rs 999/=

          Please take up the matter with appropriate/concerned person/authority for refund of my money and for stopping the mobile store from duping the consumers in the name of assured FREE GIFT.

          The Mobile Store, Connaught Circus New Delhi — Cheating at "THE MOBILE STORE"

          I PURCHASED A RAY T60 MOBILE YESTERDAY. LOOKS GOOD AND IS A PRODUCT OF REPUTED "THE MOBILE STORE". I WAS COVINCED BY THE MOBILE STORE STAFF THAT IT IS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AND THAT THEY HAVE SOLD MORE THAN 25 SETS WITHOUT A COMPLAIN . BUT IS NOT RECOGNISED BY AIRTEL LIVE OR ANY OTHER MOBILE SERVICE PROGRAMMES, MOST DOWNLOADABLES ON THE NET DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THE EQUIPMENT. DOES NOT HAVE FM RADIO. COMPLAIN LODGED FOR REPALCEMENT TODAY. PEOPLE COMPLAIN I SOUND CRAZY ON THIS MOBILE. I CHECKED FOR MYSELF,

          Nokia N73 — defective handset

          Request for replacement : I purchasaed nokia set N73 on 22nd Jan 2009 from M/S Port Town Cellulars, Vssco wide invoice # 6828 & it's IMEI #[protected]. Started giving problems after three months. Five times said set gave to Nokia care centre, Comlink Synergies Pvt Ltd., Panjim Goa for the same fault and still the said set is with the Company. Now I LOST faith in the repairs of the above defective mobile set and hence I REQUESTED THE THE COMPANY to replace the same with the new set. ON 19.07 2009 I Send Email to [protected]@nokia.com but they have not replied me

          The mobile store/mobile — Not received my gift of reebok Tshirt

          I have purched mobile on mobile store for that is got the gift coupen and prize of reebok tshirt, i post this coupen to spectramind marketing pvt ltdD-160, LGF, sector-26.nodida -201301.
          BUT if i called them and ask the status they r telling me that we din't got any data in there system .so many time i called and waste my money but no response same answer from them.So try solve this problem.

Since last month the mobile is not working properly, I went and complained about the mobile set and asked for replacement .The staff at the store are very careless and however the behaviour displayed was highly inappropriate and there was no cooperation extended.and irresponsibly (very rudely)answered me to go to any Samsung service center and they are not responsible for the faulty mobile set.

          I have purchased a mobile from mobile store in june and then on scratching a card i won an mp3 player.They told to send original scratch card and bill (invoice) to spectramind pvt ltd.I sent all documents which included the invoice copy also.I received an sms rgarding receipt of my applicatiion.till today i did not received the gift.when i called the call center of mobile store they said that my application was rejected because i did not send invoice copy.when i told them that i sent it they gave a number [protected] and told to call them.this number people never lifted the fone.my application number for the gift is 160330.please make sure that these cheaters be punished in a right way so that they will not repeat this again

LTD.', Noida than i won the gift i.e., mp3 player. according term i sent original scratch card and bill (invoice), & all the document to SPECTRAMINDPVT. LTD.'( by speed post ).After few days i received a sms rgarding receipt of my application . Afterthat i called the call center of SPECTRAMIND PVT. LTD', they said your application is valid & you wiil receive yuor gift whitin four week but in this date it is going 2 months & till today i did not received the gift.

          Please kindly send a reply mail to me after reading this mail sir.

          I am working in a concern as EDP and i know hoe to handle the Electronic Devises like Laptops, Mobile etc.,

          On 16th Oct ’09 evening time I purchased a Sony Ericsson W395 from The Mobile Store held at Sai Baba Colony branch (Coimbatore). The next day (17th Oct) morg I had a hanging of keypad problem (Only in Down Arrow and End Key Only) sir. So I sent one of my friends to the same TMS branch within 24 hrs. They Told some unnecessary reasons, really I m not satisfied that reasons. (On 18th I moved to my grandma’s home so I unable to go to the TMS branch.) On 19th I visited the TMS branch and they replied to me,

          “Please go to the Sony Ericsson Service centre sir, its common problem sir, they simply solve this hanging problem.”

          In this regards the next day I went to Sony Ericsson service centre held at DB Road (Coimbatore), I am totally shocked to hear the reply from the service centre officials.

          “Sorry sir, Water Lock on your mobile, so the mobile was not in warranty sir.”

          At the time I not like to argue with the Sony Ericsson Service Centre Authorities, because they had some rules and regulations. I agree to repair the mobile, because I purchased that mobile to give a gift for my friend. At that time I had some urgent work in my office (Splitting of Companies in the Tally.erp9) so I am not contact the TMS Store.

          Between 21st to 27th I am totally busy in my office regarding the some tally.erp9 issues and meetings.

          On 28th only I got a phone call from the Sony Ericsson service centre, your mobile is ready to use now, I went to the service centre and got my mobile back.

          On 29th Morg I visit “The Mobile Store Website“and post my complaint there. Evening time one person made a call to me and asks the proof of the Water lock in the mobile from the Sony Ericsson Service Centre.

          I got and scan both the Purchased Bill and Job Sheet from the Sony Ericsson Service Centre and send the mail to that person who has from the TMS.

          Today Evening He made a call and refused the said proposal sir.

          Then I spoke to TMS (Sai Baba Colony Branch) They ask a letter from the Sony Ericsson the letter should be contains a “Yes sir, we are agree to sending a Water lock Mobiles to the TMS Stores…! (just think, If it is possible sir.) I am from Financially Middle Family sir, they simply through me like a baseball.

          I really suffered form lots and lots of people’s sir.

          Kindly help me sir. WHAT I DO NOW….?

          for that I got the gift coupen of scratch card in that I got prize of reebok tshirt,
          I filled every thing and send it to Spectramind Marketing Pvt.Ltd.D-160, LGF, Sector-26,
          Noida-201301 through "Shree Maruti courier" , consignment no-19691 on[protected].
          According to shree maruti courier website my document received by Spectramind Marketing
          Pvt.Ltd on 16/07/2009. At the time of purchase the mobile I had been told that I will
          receive my gift within 45 days, now it is more than 4 months but till date I have not

          pickup the phone.Again after couple of days when I called them again the phone is keep on

          that I have purchased a mobile from M/s Mobile Store Limited, Holding No.112/A, Ward No.12, P.S. Barurpur, 24 Paraganas (south) Dist., Barurpur on 21/07/09 vide Invoice No. WB/1628/0001/5390. A scratch card was given to me and I won a “Reebok T- Shirt”. As per the instructions given in the stores I duly sent the voucher for the gift to your Noida address in the following week. I waited for two and half months I sent a message enquiring about the gift.

          I received reply as follows: “Thank you for your e-mail dated13th Nov' 09 enquiring on the delivery status of the gift offered through Win-Win offer. We believe our representative has answered your query and hope it is to your satisfaction”. I received the same reply when ever I am sending a mail to them.

          Atlast with great difficulty wen I contacted them over phone directly their executive bluntly replied that my gift was not listed or entered in the Computer. I have sent the scratch coupon by "certificate of posting" and it is also clear that no one has claimed against my name (since the entry is not there in their
          computer). So far I spent considerable amount of money in contacting them but in vain. When I have gone through the Consumer care site I found that the similar thing has happened to Mr. Jay D. Hathiwala from Gujarat. I don’t know how many are being cheated like this.

          Please look into this matter and do the needful to curb this kind of Consumer cheating and harassment.

          Totally agree with this complaint. Mobile Store has cheated me of Rs 11, 400 using this cashback offer scam. I haven't received my cashback on 2 phones since 3 months. My cashback claim was received by Mobile Store on Dec 17th. I have contacted their call centre 8-9 times (request number: R[protected]. After repeatedly calling their customer care, I got a call from them on 3rd February saying that my 2 cheques were being despatched and I would receive it maximum by next week (till 13th feb). I called up on 14th feb again and was told to wait just one week more. I called up again on 21st feb and was told that the despatch got delayed and maximum of 2 weeks would be taken (otherwise their agent Vijaykumar/ Raju promised that the amount would be credited directly to my account if I didn't receive the cheque). My receipt number is DL / 33778. These were the amounts as I was told by their agent-

          1- Rs 1, 341, 35 (Samsung Omnia Pro- 5% cashback coupon)
          2- Rs 10, 129.81 (Sony Satio- 35% cashback coupon)

          Its 8th March today and I still don't have the cheques. I called up the customer cell 3 times today and everytime I'm told to speak to a Supervisor. When I call up in the afternoon or morning to speak to them, they say no supervisor is available. I asked them to get their supervisors to call me up and no one bothered to do that.           I'm Visal Thomas.I bought a nokia 5235 mobile phone from your shop at kottayam.Invoice number 732/908235.Along with the mobile there was a scratch card it assuared a gift for purchases above RS.3000.My phone cost RS.8699.When i scratched the card i got a watch i was happy because the salesmen at the shop told me that i'l get a watch above RS.2800.
          They asked me to take a DD of Rs.99 and sent it to an address specified in the scratch card and i sent it by courier.After one month i received a watch through courier but i was surprised because the watch i got will cost atmost 150 rupees and i was totally fooled by your gift.I want Mobile store to replace the watch and give the assured gift.This is not the way to treat a customer.

          The Mobile Store — MNP form submitted but misplaced by his employee

          I have submitted my MNP (Mobile number portability) form to change my mobile provider at The mobile store noida Atta market. i have submitted all required docs/phots and provided him 19 Rs for new sim, i collected that sim and that person assured me that it will take 1 week to complete your portability.
          After 1 week i went to Mobile store and asked for that person who has submitted my form he was not there. Mobile Store person has ignored me that i have submitted my form because that person has left his job (i got to know after some discussion as i had his mobile number) Then mobile store representative told me that i can't help in this situation.
          My concern is here if some person is left his job then why not someone track his pending work...
          As due to there BAD service / Ignorance i am unable to change the Portability (MNP) service.

          The Mobile Store — Very Poor Commitment

          the services of The Mobile Store (TMS) are Sick and they are never upto their Commitment.

          I have purchased Nokia E72 on 03rd Apr'11 from Shalimar Bagh Branch, The Mobile Store. At the time of Purchase I have been commited to be given a) Cover Pouch for the Mobile b) "Mo-life" make Screen Guard.

          Since the Accessories were not in thier Stock, I have been committed those things at me home wih a confirmation to me next Day (i.e 04th Apr'11).

          Now Despite after repeated followups (by phone, personal visit to store) I had received the Cover and any other low qulit make of Screen Guard (Not "Mo-life) stuff after 20-22 days of purchase.

          Even sales exectives donot ven know how to behave with customrs, they are ready to face anything and used abusive language.

          I was just about to logde a complaint in Consumer Forum.

          Hence Guys, I strongly suggest Please do not buy any Mobile phone and just beaware of any fake promises made by The Mobile store (TMS) people to avoid hassle in future.

          The Mobilestore Limited / Sony Er. Spiro Handset — Service denial

          Bought a sony ericsson spiro handset on 01/11/2010 from Mobile store Limited, SCO 16, Sector 11, Panchkula vide invoice no. 2246/1236781 at Rs. 4869.00. During the purchase of product, the seller was reluctant to handover the warrenty card provided by company with stamp. But as I insist, he gave me that though he was insisting to refer invoice as warrenty card.

          While still in the warrenty period, the handset showed some problems. On approaching the supplier for servise, he insisted that they do not provide avy kind of assistant in the servise of the mobile phones procured from them & that I would have to go to the manufacturer's service center (Sony Erricson) in Chandigarh.

          An audio proof of this conversation with Mobile store is available & can be presented anytime.

          The Mobile Store — Faulty set and information

          On 30 Aug 2011 I bought two phones (nokia c2 and nokia e5) from The Mobile Store, Barrackpore, Kolkata.

          Out of which the nokia E5 from starting had some problem in the call receive button. On letting the sales representative know the problem, I was said all nokia E5 come with the same problem.

          Again on enquiring with nokia care i was advised to change the keypad as it was faulty. After 1 week the screen started having some black lines, the phone restarts automatically and slows down.

          I have also written complaint letter to The Mobile Store but havent received any reply from them

          On calling The Mobile Store i was said to collect DOA certificate from nokia care. DOA certificate is given within 24 hrs from the date of purchase. Had the mobile store given me the information on time i would have changed the set.

          I am relly upset with the treatment of The Mobile Store and the set provided by them.

            I ordered a mobile handset from them on their website on 14th sep, 2009.
            They promise to deliver it in 3 working days. When 3 working days passed I called up the store which was supposed to make the delivery and they said the said handset is not available. I told them to then get the charge on Credit card cancelled. No action was taken. They stopped replying to email. When you call up their customer service it goes to some illetrate call centre. They just ask your name, telephone and city, even if you give them your order number.

            After i told them that i am going to lodge a police complaint, they called me and said that we can give some other handset which I refused and told them to refund the money.

            It has been 10 days and still refund has not been made.

            I will have to go for the chargeback with my bank.

            Be careful when you order from them they are frauds.

              Since then I have been receiving 20 messages of same kind everyday.
              Earlier I ignored the messages but now its becoming a mental torture to me.
              Please look in this matter or else I would go mad if this torture continuous.

                We purchased Apple I-Pod Nano from the Sector-5, Dwarka New Delhi store on13/09/09( Cash memo no.[protected]. When we brought it home and tried to playmusic on it, we found that the battery was not getting charged at all. When wedisconnect it, the screen goes blank. The screen lights up only when incharging mode.
                We contacted the store and they told us to go to the service centre which is 25km away from this place.

                Is this the way a large chain of stores is supposed to treat the customers? Having shelled out Rs.8600.00 for the purchase, we are nowbeing asked to spend our valuable time and effort to go to the service centre,while it is their job to get us a replacement under warranty from the company

                  Hi,
                  I had purchased a Sony Ericsson W580i handset from The Mobile Store Infinity mall, andheri w, Mumbai on 16th July '2009 under an exchange offer whereby i gave away my old phone and got a discount on the newer one. Right from day one I had encountered sevearl technical and display problems with the handset which I had informed the store keeper immidiately. To my surprise they completely disowned themselves from the accountability of getting it replaced saying that it is a look out of the SONY and they are mere retailers. On my insistence, they supported me by accompanying me to the SONY SERVICE CENTRE nearby to get the matter sorted out.
                  There at the centre, individuals from Sony and THE MOBILE STORE indulged into an argument over their terms of agreement and policies resultant which I wasnt attended for the main cause.

                  It only added to my dissappointment when people at SONY showed negligible interest in helping me out any way other than saying "WE WILL UPGRADE THE SOFTWARE, THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT POLICY FROM THE COMPANY". From that day till now, I have gotten this software upgradation done thrice and it hasnt helped a bit. Infact, a few problems occured after it returned repaired from their centre.

                  I sent a few mails to the ESSAR GROUP(the mobile store) and SONY as well, but no one has paid heed to my complaint. Please help me raise this up to the highest level of escalation in both the companies.

                  I bought a Xperia C phone from Mobile Store on 8th Dec at 5 PM and then when I opened the Box, I saw the cover of the phone is damaged. I took the phone to the same store again in 2 hours, and they recognised the phone is defective and said, this need to be replaced by the Sony service centre.

                  The cover is not fitting properly, and the phone is popping up most of the time on standard use of the phone.
                  I took the phone to the service centre, they are refusing to replace, saying it need to be replaced by Mobile Store.

                  Sony and Mobile store is saying they can't replace as there is no tangible damage. Also they are saying they can send the phone to service centre but it will take 7 days. They can't provide the backup phone.

                  It is difficult to understand, when the product is defective, how an Sony and Mobile store refuse for an immediate replacement?

                    This is to bring to your notice that I had purchased a mobile phone [Nokia 7610 Supernova, IMEI No. [protected]] from The Mobile Store, Kalkaji vide my HDFC bank credit card no. [protected] [Tid No. 41017319, Appr Code 059245] amounting to Rs. 10, 999/- on 12th June, 09 night as a gift for my friend [Invoice No. DEL/01356/00001/3243 dated 12-06-09].

                    After paying the complete amount i.e. Rs. 10, 999/- while the executive was giving me the demo of the phone, the phone was not switching on. It took the executive 15 minutes just to switch on the phone. N the reason given to me was that it happens sometimes in new handsets.

                    Next day I had to go outstation n realized on the way that none of the features of the phone were working. N I had to be without phone just because this handset was not working. My family got so worried and tensed about me as I was not reachable on the phone. There was no option left for me other than to manage without phone.

                    Next day i.e. on 14th June, 09 early morning I visiting the store and whole staff of The Mobile Store agreed with the fact that phone was not working. When asked for the replacement, I was very rudely told by one Senior executive of the store that it will only be replaced if Nokia will state that the phone is not physically damaged. Then n there only I gave the phone back to the store and obtained receiving also on the bill.

                    Here I would like to point out that how Nokia can sell a product in a market when it is not at all working and is defective. This brings the fact that before selling a product in market, there is no quality check in Nokia to confirm the working features of the phone.

                    Secondly how can The Mobile Store sell that product to a customer when even on switching on the phone they notice that there is some problem with the phone? I have spend around 11, 000/- on phone just to get benefits of the same but had to face troubles n problems. Instead of accepting their fault, the store people blame customer for physically damaging it.

                    Because of the inconvenience caused to me and rude behavior of the store people to me, I decided not to continue my relationship with the store and requested for stop payment of credit card on 14th June morning itself by calling HDFC helpline and further vide my letter dated 14th June, 09 forwarded by fax and courier to HDFC Chargeback section [Case reference I[protected]]. They promised me that this thing will be settled in 45 days time which is their minimum time for settlement of dues.

                    Today is 27th August, 09 and I have not received my credit back in my credit card. Infact I have received some mails from the store saying that now they can’t even replace the handset as many days have passed n they can just provide me assistance in getting the same repaired from Nokia.

                    Would request you to kindly look into the matter and arrange for my credit back to my card as whatever I have purchased, I have returned the same back to the store. N take necessary action against Nokia as well as The Mobile Store for selling a defective handset to a customer and causing inconvenience.

                      COMPLAINT : Failed to deliver my order No :[protected], dated 25th June, 2009 without citing any reason . Payment made by credit card on the 25th June, 2009 . Money refunded on the 7th of August, 2009 after many complaints and legal correspondences ( through my advocate ) with the company .

                      FINANCIAL & OTHER DAMAGES : Legal Expenses Incurred . Courier Charges Incurred for several correspondences with the company . Telephone Expenses Incurred for calling the Call Centre of the company several times without any result . Internet Charges for e-mails sent by me to the company .
                      Rs 5049.00 blocked from 25th June, 2009 to 7th August, 2009 . Loss of Interest Charges (3.5% of Rs 5049.00). Mental Harrassment and Agony .
                      Dear Mr. Joy Moullik,

                      This order was placed on 25th June and on 26th June we got intimation from our bank stating that the cardholder has disputed/suspecting the transaction hence the transaction was kept on hold. We had also informed to the you on 1st July that we cannot process this for refund unless we receive a chargeback mail from bank. Our intent here was to ensure that the card is not misused hence wanted customer to come via bank route.

                      Since there was no material supplied against this order, we processed it for refund only post the legal notice.

                      Hope this clarifies the issue. Please let us know incase of any further information required.

                        i was working with the mobilestore till 31st october 2008.i had submitted my withdrawel application with my previous employers ie the mobile store ltd in jan 2009.i am very sorry to note that till now i havent got my withdrael amount my PF no is MH/48325/166.Pls advise me what should be done for getting the money....

                        As you are aware I purchased the above referred Nokia mobile Set N 72 Black & Gold
                        IMEI: [protected] from you on 18/09/2008 vide Tax invoice Dated 18/09/2008 for
                        Rs.7759.00. [CF.Copy attached]

                        This set did not perform perfectly; the battery got drained out on only 2-3 calls. Sometimes it would
                        drain out quite suddenly.

                        I submitted the mobile for inspection and repairs to the Nokia Care centre SAPNA ENTERPRISES;
                        A / 4, Dutt Apartment, Sneh Vihar Napier Town, Jabalpur as suggested on 03/12/2008.

                        The mobile was returned to me supposedly after repairs and assurance that it will now work flawlessly.
                        But the complaint of battery draining out abruptly even when it would be used for 2 or 3 calls of very
                        short duration, remained unresolved.

                        So the same was resubmitted on 28/12/2008 to the Nokia Care Centre for further probe into the problem
                        and repairs if necessary .I was advised that the set and the battery would have to be sent to Delhi for
                        further inspection, probe and necessary repairs.

                        Therefore it was again submitted to the above said Nokia Care Centre on 27th January. After about 48
                        days I got it back from the Nokia Care assuring me of due repairs done to it. Still the same problem
                        persists to date. [CF.Copy attached]

                        I am fed up with having to go to the Nokia Care Centre with no relief whatsoever. I am finding it
                        frustrating not to be able to use my mobile ever since the purchase date.

                        Kindly replace the mobile set with another set of same value working without a problem. The
                        purchase is covered under one year warranty and my request is well within the warranty period and
                        deserves to be redressed without further delay or harassment.

                          I Bought an Apple I-phone on 18/05/2009 whose Bill no.- UP/01335/00001/7559 from The Mobile Store, Essar Telecom Retail Ltd. Sahara Ganj Mall, Lucknow. I did'nt know how to install the sim card in the handset, so i brought it back to the same Mobile Store and i gave it to one of the sales person to install the sim but that person had damaged my handset then i was annoyed at them after that i met Mr. Jayesh who is the Area Manger of The Mobile Store he told me that he will manage to repair the Handset. After 2 days he said to send handset to Initiative Store at Alambagh, Lucknow. Today after about 22 days they are not giving me any positive response regarding the phone. I also conversed with Miss Hema Shetty (Customer Care Head of "The Mobile Store") they all are making false commitments.
                          Please help me out in this matter.

                            Complaint on one of your products bought by me. Please find the same below:
                            I bought a new touchscreen mobile from mobile store about a week back.
                            For that they offered me a bluetooth set and its not working. Even after charging for over a day, it does not even switch on. After complaining on the with storekeeper i was offered a different one for a change and even thats not working. When i approached for the second time, i was asked to come the next week since theres not stock available in that category as stated by the storekeeper. I have been going to the shop for the past two weeks, which has already eaten a lot of my time. I dont want to further waste my time. I want to state it out that because of the offer only, i came to your store for buying the same.
                            Otherwise i would have bought any where else. Though the cost of the product is only 1000 rs., the real concern being neither the quality nor the customer service is NOT AT ALL good in your store.
                            Hence i am totally dissatisfied because of the same.

                              I am Hemant Bawane.I have purchased a Nokia-1661 on 04/05/2009 from the mobile store, J.M. Road, Pune. It is found that the battery given by the vendor seems to be different which should be sold along with the Nokia-1661 handset. I have recieved BL-5C battery instead of BL-4C.The battery is doing well in terms of its working but it does'nt fit in the Nokia handset properly.
                              For this matter I went to the store & asked for the same battery.But Mr. Gyanesh, Store Manager, does'nt want to accept this as his fault & blaming me for the same.My point is that many customers visit the mobile store for purchasing nokia handsets & in this process batteries of two handsets might exchanged.I am just saying it might be a mistake done by the vendor but the store manager is saying that somebody has changed the battery with mine & I know this is not the case.

                              So Kindly do the needful action against this forgery done by the company.

                                I had purchased two Vodafone Lifetime Prepaid connections ([protected], [protected]) on 15-05-09, from The Mobile Store, Shopprix Mall, Sec-61, NOIDA, UP.
                                But the shop has not submitted the verification documents(two sets of: copy of Driving Licence, PAN card and two photos) to Vodafone Services that I had given to the vendor.
                                Vodafone has now disconnected both my numbers which have become temporarily out of service.

                                  FLY MOBILE & MOBILE STORE — Cheating with customer

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I Purchaged FLY 2040L mobile set from The Mobile store in connaught place, New Delhi on 26th Feb at a cost of Rs.4349.

                                  from a very first day itself the phone started giving problem. I got it checked from Mobile store (C.P) and they refused to help out in any way & just said that fly only would do the needful. the shop is no more responsible for the product once it sold out.

                                  I sent 5 time the set with my boy to the service centre Nehru but they have refused to replaced the phone and till day my set position is same & i am not using since 04 month back.

                                  I really cheated by FLY with regard to the product bought. These foreign companies get into India and cheat the citizen by selling these kind of product.

                                  I am salaried person & can not keep affording to by other cell phone. And also the mobile store is cheating consumers by prompoting such gadgets which are not performing well in the market. They are also not helpful incase of any complaints.

                                  Hope this report will help in either replacing my cell phone of giving me full refund.

                                    I have purchased Alcatel NRG Sports Mobile from "The Mobile Store" located at Hydernagar, Hyderabad. I have notified them with the poor audio quality of the Alcatel Mobile within few minutes after purchasing the mobile and requested for replacement, they are careless about my complaint and refused to replace the handset.

                                      I purchased a mobile (Nokia 5310) from THE MOBILE STORE (Janakpuri, District Center, DELHI) on 28th June 2009, they gave me a Reliance GSM connection ([protected]) along with that. It had been six days (till now) and the sim still not activated. I go to the store daily and they tell that it will be done in half an hour... but its still not activated. I had a word with Mr Pankaj ([protected]), Mr. Virendar ([protected]), Mr. Deepak ([protected]). This is pathetic service by Mobile store. If they cant get it activated they should tell it clearly and stop selling connections from store.

                                      I hope that the senior authorities will look into it and do the needful so that in future customer did not face any problems...

                                      I have purchased a Nokia 5800 from their shop at Jayanagar. I have heard that Nokia reduced there prices and that why i went there. They gave me a box and i paid for the same. After reaching home i found that there was a slip inside saying "TV out feature Not Supported". I checked with Nokia customer care and they told me that the same is mentioned over the box also. On checking the box, i found that the sticker was removed (ripped off) so that customers won't notice it. Is this the right way to sell things by removing a notice from Nokia itslef and selling to us.
