I had purchased the said handset on 27/12/09 for my father after clear discussion about the performance of the phone with The Moblie Store, Yamuna Nagar (Haryana). Mobile store people assured me for future services from their end as their is no HTC Service centre in Yamuna Nagar.
Now this phone is not working properly, ringing alerts are not working & charger of the phone was not working just after 1 month of purchase which I gave to Mobile Store for service. I have not received the charger & Mobile Store is not even ready to provide service facility. They are behaving in a bad manner & asking me to go to Chnadigarh for the service.
I have invested Rs.10000/- for this phone & just after 75 days no concerned company is bothered about theie own product.
This is strange...
I would suggest no body should go to The Mobile Store & friends dont buy HTC Phones, they look good but they provide poor quality phones.

    Hi,

    I purchased a Samsung Mobile from The Mobile Store (Dombivli) on 15th March 09. Even after giving all detail in written I was provided a bill with different name, I complained them immediately and then I was promised that TMS will provide me a bill in 3-4 day as it requires modification from central system of TMS (I really doubt on this as how can this be possible in such a competitive market??). I waited for 1 week and then called TMS dombivli and the lady sitting there telling me Mr. Ravindra had called me (I was so shocked as I did not recieve any call from TMS). I said I want my bill (with my own Name) else give me my money back. I was assured it will reach me in 4-5 working days, I waited and again I had to call TMS dombivli after 10 days. and Again fake promise to recieve my bill in 2-3 working days. My wife and I had called TMS dombivli for not less than 10 times but still I have not recieved my bill for which I have paid.

    on 11th April 09 I called TMS dombivli again threatening them to pull TMS in consumer court, I was assured that within half an hour I'll recieve the bill. Again on 12th April, 09 I had to fight with them over the phone and around 22.30 hrs IST TMS dombivli (Mr. Ravindra) is calling me to give my address as the person who left with bill is finding difficulty to find the address (I was shocked as the address is very much clear and even the person who dont know about dombivil can find the address), and same story did not recieve the bill.

    Today on 13th April 09 was even more shocking person calling me asking to collect a bill from mid way as he is running out of petrol in his bike :O

    How many fake reasons?

    I would say the WORST services by TMS. I would not recommend any one TMS.

    Can TMS answer who is responsible for this? Is it Mr. Ravindra who is giving fake reasons? is it the Lady who behaved irrresponsibly? Or is it TMS who is recruiting such liars?

    OR IS IT ME WHO TRUSTED TMS AND PURCHASED A MOBILE???

    Even on 13th April 09 at 19.00 hrs IST I have not recieved the bill.
    THE MOBILE STORE" from ESSAR is the WORST mobile outlet u can ever see. They are not showing any responsibilty for the products they sold. Many of my frieds ended up in purchasing DEFFECTIVE phones from "The Mobile store". Immediately after purchasing, the phones are not functiong and if we approach them they will put the phone under warranty and try to repair. 2 days back I purchased a C510 (Rs11300) from The Mobile Store, Nelson Manickam road, Chennai and the phone is not accepting any of the SIM (tried airtel, vodafone, aircel, idea). When we approached the shop immediately, they started showing the real face by saying that the motherboard is gone and since it comes under warranty u will get it repaird free of cost. Actually they sold us a DEFFECTIVE phone and asking us to get it repaird. Only Mobile Store can do such rubbish sales...! They are sittin Stupid ..!!

    i am Nitin . I purchased a nokia lumia 520 on 15 July frm mobile store. Aftr taking whole money he refused m to give bill made excuse that server not working. Since frm that day i visit more then 10 times to his shop, every times he made new excuse. I also facing prblm in mobile.i doubt they cheated me. Now i want my money back otherwise i go to consumer forum.
    I want my phone bill.। i'd lost it... But my phone is in warranty period... So please provide my bill... Date of purchase 24. 08.2014.. Phone model sony Xperia z... imei no [protected].. Please email my bill @ [protected]@gmail.com..

      Sir,
      The national daily new paper ie Times of India dated 14 Mar 09 published in Bangalore an Ad from "The Mobile Stores" that they will exchange any mobile for New Mobile phone, with reduction in 50% in basic cost of the new mobile.With three mobiles exchanged, the new phone will be free of cost. This was illustrated with an example in the paper. It was a total disappointment, when the Mobile Store person refused to accept this offer. Also quoted, he will take old mobile as per his quote or as convenient to him. The ad was clear as printed. I was refused at Indra Nagar outlet after the staff confirming from their head office. Many people came with SMS messages carrying the same Ad. The company like this is causing a big inconvenience to the public. If the mail reaches in time today, you depute your staff to verify the fact in their store in BANGALORE. The Company has to accept the Ad as it is given and exchange my mobile or this forum should take appropriate action for the public inconvenience caused, so that such mobile dealer dont take public for a ride please.

      Gentleman...the ad was although misguiding but you have not read it properly...the ad never said that they will reduce the cost by 50% but what you may get will might be equal to 50% off of the cost of mobile you decide to take. If THEY EVALUATE your old mobile for Rs. 4000 and you decide to buy any mobile worth Rs. 8000 that is equal to 50% off, you may also take a mobile worth Rs. 4000 in exchange of mobile they evaluate for Rs. 4000. So I would suggest you to read the AD properly before making any bold comment.
      HAVE A PURCHASED A NEW MOBILE HAND SET FROM THE MOBILE STORES - BBG BAG, BESIDE OF STEPHEN HOUSE, KOLKATA - 700001. WHEN I SELECT MY BRAND (SONY ERRICSSON) THEN THE MOBILE STORES SALES MAN PRESSURE ME TO GET THE MODEL NO.W205 WHICH IS BEST FOR YOU BUT I REFUSE HIM THAT I DON'T WANT SLIDING MOBILE SET AND HE CONFIRM ME ANY MORE STOCK HAS NOT AT OUR SHOP. BUT ONE OF SALE MAN MR. JOYJIT HAS CONFIRM ME THAT W350 MODEL HAS STOCK AT OUR SHOP. IN BETWEEN TIME MY SET HAS BEEN OPENED FROM THE SEALED PACK.       I have purchased the nokia E63 model from your store 7 days ago and the default that i found in some defect that display is not proper while surfing the photos and memory card not reading which i noticed with in 3 days i went to the store, but they told me to visit to nokia service center and they are saying that they will repair my phone,
      But i dont like my phonen to be repaired as i bought few days back ok .when nokia priority people are giving a exchane of 10-15 dsys exchane then why dont you people get me done i m visiting like mad from mobile store to service center 4 times plz look in to this matter or else i have to some high authority or i have visit consumer court.plz solve my problem by tmro and i wanta exchange of my phone.

        I bought a Nokia 3600 Slide (Rs. 9, 169/-) from the Mobile Store, Opposite Lokmat Building, Nagpur on February 15, 2009 (Customer Number[protected]; Invoice number MH1245). I started encountering battery problems from the first day of purchase. I took my phone to the mobile store, and came back without any solution. The response by the Store Manager (Mr. Shridhar Naidu) and the sales person (Mr. Thakur) was that of complete indifference and ignorance. Later I found out that the real problem was not with the phone but the memory card they gave me with the phone. The memory card was corrupted and they were not ready to accept the fact.
        How can a brand new mobile phone, with a memory card, have viruses? Its a clear matter of cheating, as they supplied me with a used and old memory card (The memory card is not a part of the sealed company-provided box).
        The behavior of the Stores Manager and the sales person was very humiliating and I being a woman, found it all the more inappropriate.
        I request the the Consumer Forum to please take action against the concerned persons as their behavior has caused me enormous inconvenience and mental harassment since the last full week. I do not want anyone else to go through this kind of inconvenience.

          I was purchased a new mobile Sony Ericsson T 700 dated (11jan, 2009) from The Mobile store (DA-4/A Main Vikas Marg Shakarpur Delhi).Before purchase I told the salesman about my preference is good music player similar to W 580i or more. Camera and all other thing is secondary .He regularly insist me on T700 and raised my budget from6000 to 11000.he said that it is the best mobile, he told me features like good camera with flash, Dual speaker with clear and high volume with attachable speakers and a new feature of T.V output etc..

          But when I purchased and opened it I asked how to connect a T.V .He replied that it doesn’t have a feature of T.V output .I stunned after listening that & said but u told me that feature he replied u got confused between all, I ignored because I am more fond of music. Then I listen music in which I didn't find a volume. In fact my single speaker W 580i has more volume. He gave an excuse that equalizer is not set and after doing every possible efforts volume remain as it is. And he continuously lies with me.

          After complaining to the manager, he suggest me to complained to Sony Ericsson centre as sales person is from Sony Ericsson company and he knows very well about each and every product, and your mobileW580i is from walkman series so there is no comparison in sound with that.

          When I request him to change with some one else or money back he said we don’t have authority to change the set or money back. After all I agreed him to send a mail to his boss regarding that matter. And I also have a copy of that mail which I paste below.

            Dear Sir
            On 13/02/08 i went to the "The Mobile Store" saltlake branch. I bought a Sony Ericson handset. I also wanted to take a airtel connection lifetime. I specifically aked the sales person Ms Rajni to give me that. She agreed on the same & told me about a special offer where i can avail that. I agreed on the same & made the full payment. After that i came to know that i was given 4 sim card of different service, which i never asked for.My requirement was only one sim card of Airtel but 4 sim card of different companies were mis-sold to me.When i wanted to cancell the same they declined that request that its already been billed & paid.
            To my atonishment i found there were some other clients also who were complaining about the same issue. That means this has become a practise of that store. Please take the matter seriously.

            Mobile Store — mis selling

            My self is davinder singh and I have purchased a sony ericsson mobile model number Xperia x10 mini from mobile store dugri road ludhiana (punjab) on 20/06/2010 and on that time the store manager says if i purchase this set then rebbok sun glasses is free with this mobile as a gift and when i pay the ammount then he says I have no stock please give me one week time to arrange then i said ok
            but till date i have not recieve my gift when i call mobile customer care on [protected] then Mr vipul attend the call and he says my gift is dispached but when i not recieve my gift then i call him again but he says he have no stock and no one interested to solve my complaint please help me, i am forweding you all the mails copy wich i send to mobile store please help

              The worst type of service you could ever get & can you imagine it takes them 2 weeks to load a software in a phone
              Dear Sir,

              We used to purchase mobiles for our family & friends in your showroom only for the past 5 years.

              I have purchased NOKIA 5800 mobile in your Chennai, R K Salai showroom on 29/09/09. The mobile got heated & the ringtone and all was not effective after the usage of my mobile in 4 days. Hence I have approached your R K Salai Showroom . But the workers in your showroom were asked me to approach NOKIA CARE. When I approached the Nokia care in Royapettah (opposite to sathyam theatre), they asked us to submit my mobile to them (since they need to send delhi - nokia's head office). After that process i have received my mobile after 15 days, they said that they have changed the battery & some software (for ringtone). On the first day of the receipt of my mobile from the nokia care, i have seen the same complaint in it. Hence i approached Nokia Care again... and the process again moves on as mentioned above... After 15 days, they have given me replacement, which is not seems to be new mobile(more scratched in it), it seems to be a already used one, which i wont accept. Since I bought a new mobile, I NEED A NEW MOBILE FROM A BOX PIECE ONLY.

                I ever seen such a worst mobile shop. I purchased a Motorola A810 mobile in 19/10/2008 at Parry's mobile store. Wide Invoice No: TN/ 01118/00001/8809Amount: 7, 499.01 With in a month i got several problems in my mobile. It got hanged, It damages my Sim card 3 times, Operations are very slow. Suddenly i got switched off. and lot of problems... Later i came to know it was manufacturing defect, So i contact the mobile store (Parry's) they told me that they wont take any responsibility then i went to the REDINGTON INDIA LIMITED chennai Work order no EG/MO/08/08480 dated 15/01/2009. They said it was a software problem but after from the service with in one week the same problem occured again my Sim card got damaged. very very poor. Then i contacted the mobile store and i told them to replace the mobile(Parry mobile store), He said will try. Last week i gave my mobile but till now i didn't get any response from him, i called him but some one is picking and saying that person is not here and all. Please on this issue...

                  Customer Service Desk:

                  I had bought 3 mobile sets from your branch Essar Telecom Retail Ltd, BN Block, Vardhaman Shopping Plaza, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi in the names of Archana Narang (N 73), Divya Khurana ( Sony Erricson) and Ajay Narang (E 71) all in the month of October 2008. I was so impressed by your branch head Mr. Mukesh that after buying first two sets for Diwali / Bhaiya Duj Gift purposes, I pre poned my decision to buy E 71 for myself too. It seems it was my biggest mistake to buy the same...

                  While Mr Mukesh was opening the mobile box, I told him that the SEAL of the box is already broken on which he told "trust me, it is not so - you are our valuable customer, we just cant do anything wrong with you". And perhaps my fear was right, the camera of the mobile stopped working from 3rd day itself. When I approached Mukesh, he accomanpanied me to Nokia Centre across the road. They told me to leave the set for repair for 10-15 days which I did not agree.

                  Mukesh told me to get it corrected soon and will help me out. He kept on assuring me that either over phone or on my visits. And now it is 3 months and still my mobile phone's camera is not working. Mr. Mukesh has now started giving excuses. He has given me some numbers on which to talk to get my complaint registered. What a FUN?

                  Is this the service one should expect from a reputed store whereas Mukesh told me when I was buying sets from him that you can get at a cheaper rate from a local mobile shop but "the quality of the service and genuine products" which we can provide, they can't.

                  Tell me where I am wrong. Am I wrong to get loyal to the store too early or my expectations are little too high.

                  After spending more than 45000 Rupees, if I am getting that good a service, I am sorry to say but Mobile Store I am never going to recommend anyone. It seems my 20000 rupees have gone in drain..

                  Will u pl resolve the issue and get me a fresh hand-set? I am suffering for the reason of being loyal to the store...

                  Hope you will listen to my woes and get it resolved at the earliest..

                  The Mobile Store — Deficient Service

                  I had purchased HTC P3452 phone from TMS, sec 5 dwarka on 13/09/2008(Inv Del/01050/00001/3653). However, the piece was defective and the HTC service centre issued the DOA on 27/09/2008.
                  I had presented the DOA to the TMS shop on the same day.They were unable to replace the handset as they did not have the same model.
                  It has been around a month now and I haven't received the replacement handset. I had raised a complaint with their customer service cell on 12th October, requesting for either a replacement with the same model or a refund in case they were unable to do so.
                  To this date I have not received any satisfactory response from them. They had offered me to purchase another handset which I declined as I was not interested in any other handset.
                  Please help me in this regards.

                  Mobile Store — Mobile Set.

                  Sir, on 8th April I had purchased a Set of Moble make LG No.RD6600.from Moble Store. Guru Ghashi Dass Plaza.Raipur.(Chattisgarh). The set is not supported to Video.But at the shop while purchasing they told me that the set is Bluetooth and this will support everything inclusive of Video support system.Later on the very next day when I had visited the shop Mobile Store, they have refused to take back the set.and ask me to go to LG people. As the cost of the set is Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five thousand ) I fill that I have been cheated by them.

                    I had purchased one airtel sim card from the mobile store located in Lucknow.The adress is:Shop no.32, 33, 34B, Pragati Bazar, Kapoorthala, Lucknow.226024.The store manager is Sonu Mishra.
                    They asked me to submit my residential proof.Initially they asked me to submit photocopy of the document but later asked to give the original document.I had completed all the formalities.But they did not submit my documents to the airtel office and so my number has been de activated.
                    Now the store person have denied to help me and not returning my document too.They even mis behaved with me when I went there.
                    My sincere request is that serious action must be taken against such irresponsible people.
                    i bought a mobile 4m mobile store Ambala cantt branch.first th boy was very reluctant to give original bill.then my idea SIm which i had got 4m th store, got locked which was not reactivated after so many reminders.i had bought th mobile and sim as my son was going out of station, to keep in touch with him.i bought th mobile on 30th april.09.today opn 10th may, even after 10 days th idea no has not been activated.could to please tell me whom to contact or these centre are being run on RAM BHAROSE..Please help

                      There is a video file format problem in Fly V100 model. While I purchasing this mobile in "The Mobile Store" they told this is good model and there is no problem. The video files working fine if I take video through mobile. But if I use any other videos downloaded form .net or from friend it is not working. I enquired the same and they told that there is a software problem in this model. In the official site also they mentioned it accepts 3gp and mp4 files.But it accepts only .avi files (taken from mobile) or .avi files converted using from setting (got from net). So please check all features while purchasing.

                        I went to the Mobile store at shakrpur delhi, opposite nathu sweets to purchase a wire headset s 200 for my motorola L9. But waht they sold me instead was a different model of s 200 that is incompatible with online. when i demanded a replacement or my money back, the staff argued with me unnecessarily for more than an hour and the asked me to go to service center of Motorola. I want the correct product for my money.

                          i had really a very bad exper'nce in mobile store and am even going to consumer forum 4 this kind of behaviour . All the staff in tms r ill' tempered and they dont know how to talk to
                          a person . but this time they all will pay 4 this am goin to file a
                          case in forum and all ofthem r going to pay for this
                          very true, the have the most unprofessional bunch of employees.

                            This is informing you that i have purchased a mobile in out let of "The mobiles store limited "(shop no B/A -16 Lake city mall, thane west )
                            I had chosen by seen photo a sony ericsson model " K530 i " so i asked them to show it but they told to pay me First so i have made a payment of Rs. 7429.01 ( payment made through invoice[protected] on dated 06/10/2008)But after opening found that hand set its having problem of sound system then i ask to replace the phone but they are not giving me replace .
                            now they are accepting that its having technical defects but they are not changing my handset .I have already raised a complain in they are customer care but no respond from their side.
                            Sony service center also confirmed the problem and communicate them by phone but still they are not giving me the new phone.

                              Today, I have tried to purchase a mobile “Samsung C140” in "The MobileStore" online shopping which is 1309/-. Once I reach payment page the price is changing to 1659/- (shipping 0.00/- and Gift-Warp Charges: 0.00/-)
                              It is misleading and there is a chance we ending up paying more, if we miss seeing price in the checkout page as previous three pages are showing 1309/- only. I don't Know what is the difference 350/-?

                                Order No :[protected] for Nokia Mobile phone.
                                This was ordered through the TMS online potral more than a week ago.(www.themobilestore.in)
                                I had placed the order with "The Mobile Store" through valid credit card transcation approval.
                                After the order was accepted, the goods was not delivered to the address mentioned in the order.

                                The store that had to deliver the product (Jayanagar-Bangalore) has not deliver the goods till date.
                                Successive phone calls was not picked up by the [protected]@bangalore store.([protected])
                                I had also registered a complaint on Monday (8th september 2008) with "The Mobile Store" on the same issue.

                                On Sept 12 when I received a call from TMS customer support, they informed me that they need proof, for which there was no clear explaination.
                                (Phone No. [protected]/[protected], Name : Rekha / Nadia). They informed they need ID proof, Residence proof, Credit card proof etc.
                                When I questioned their demand for the above, there was no proper answer to these queries.
                                The TMS is providing fraudulent reasons for not delivering the goods to me through the address mentioned in the order.
                                Till date there was no personnel from "The Mobile Store" visiting my place
                                for delivering the goods.

                                This compliant is to make the public aware of the fraudulent practiced by this online portal.

                                    Sir,

                                    i Went the mobile Store for changing my housing change of Nokia N-95, They Told Me After 20 Min they give my Set.
                                    But When i came after 20 min they told me your mobile motherboard jack is been damaged while changing the housing. you can collect your mobile tomorrow.

                                    They Dont give me any Job Sheet,

                                    After 1 week they told me part is unavailable and you have to wait for 2 days then they give me job sheet

                                    But still i dont get my mobile back, they dont pick up my phones

                                    Kindly Suggest what i can do

                                    Can i take some legal action on that

                                    because they dont give me any standby phone, so it is very difficult to stay in connect with my office staff

                                      I have register my complaint regarding my faulty handset Nokia 5610 music.I have purchased my handset from The Mobile Store, Kirti Nagar, I request them to change my handset as there was a problem in 4 days in using my handset.They told me to go to Nokia Care Center, but when i told them about my problem as they are taking 1 month to repair my handset, they told me to 'If there was a problem in % days of working of handset, the seller have to SWAP the handset'.I request them to do that or help in giving me a Back up handset or help me to get my cell early, the denied to help me.
                                      I am just roaming around here and there to get my handset repaired.Please help me in this matter.As this MNC are cheating around the people, as they are just Stealing people money.

                                        WHAT IS ASSURED IN THIS? IS IT PAIN!!!
                                        TAKE BACK THE ASSURED GIFT COUPON AND REFUND ME RS.5000
                                        This is reference to the Holiday Package of 2 Nights & 3 Days that i recevied on Buying the Mobile from "The Mobile Store".
                                        The Holiday package was from Countrywide Holidays Pvt. Ltd. where they asked to give their Preference of the Stay with 3 alternate dates.
                                        I picked the areas as per the following Sequence
                                        1. MAHABALESHWAR
                                        2. MATHERAN
                                        3. MUNNAR
                                        for the Date Preference as
                                        1st Check-in Date option...[protected]
                                        2nd Check-in Date option...[protected]
                                        3rd Check-in Date option... 6-9-2008

                                        They confirmed me the MUNNAR as that was the farest destination among the three. When i contacted them they expalined me that the booking is not available in Mahabaleshwar & Matheran even though its Off Season in ahabaleshwar and Matheran.I was left with no choice in maharashtra as 3rd option.They have all far away destinations and they do not give close destination

                                        I wrote to the Hotel in Mahabaleshwar and matheran to which COuntry Holiday is providing the rooms and they confirmed me that they have the rooms availability for all the 3 required dates.

                                        I called up the guys for 5 consecutive days and asked them to send me the explaination for the same and they didnt replied me back.

                                        Last resort to me was to send them an email with following reference
                                        "If i dont get an answer on the query that has been asked then i will be forced to take action against you guys in the Consumer Court Under section
                                        -- right to be informed
                                        -- right to seek redressal against unfair trade practices or restrictive trade practices or unscrupulous exploitation of consumers.".

                                        to which they have replied as
                                        "We have contracts with the hotels for few rooms for promotional schemes. Also, we have clearly mentioned in the Terms & Conditions that recipients has to three choice of destinations & three dates. One out of three will be confirmed in all the requests submitted by the customers".

                                        I would like to know inspite of the availability they are using unfair methods and not providing the service to the customers.

                                        Even I had bought the mobile phone and got the offer. I paid them 599/- through DD and till date I have never received any confirmation from their end about whereI will get the confirmation.
                                        I also faced the same fate as Tushar with the holiday offer from the Mobile Store through the Countrywide Holidays Pvt Ltd. I followed all their instructions and requested for Munnar, Ooty and Tirupaty in the order of preference. As in the case of Tushar, I was also alloted the farthest, least preferred destination. When they contacted me on phone the caller insisted me to accept or reject instantly. ( I was driving at that time) When I said, 'No', the caller said my booking is cancelled and the money is being returned. Even after 2 weeks the money (Rs 599/-) is yet to come. I wish to advise everybody not to patronise the Mobile Store or the Countrywide Holidays Pvt. Ltd. They are cheating through a very well organised unfair trade practice.
                                        Is there any assurity that you book us a room after we send the Rs.999 (DD)
                                        Can we cancell before you send us the confirmation voucher and do we get refund of the same.

                                        I had bought a mobile from Mobile Store outlet in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi and I was given a gift voucher of Rs. 10000 (not upto Rs. 10, 000 but of Rs. 10000), containing a Holiday package of 3 Nights 4 Days(Scratch Card No. TP1664611). For the same I had called Travel port customer care and enquired about the package for Hotel Sarang Palace in Jaipur. The maximum rated on the website of this hotel are Rs. 1800 per day (without discount) which amount to Rs. 5400/- in total. But my voucher is of Rs. 10, 000. When I expressed my concern regarding the same to the customer care person they said they cannot help me in this regard. The mobilestore customer care no. given in their site is permanently switched off. I have also placed a complaint to them through e-mail for which I have not received any reply. Moreover, I also called up the Lajpat Nagar mobilestore and spoke to Mr. Santosh who has also been of no help.
                                        I also got a silimar offer of 3N/4D holday package from mobile store for which I called one of the hotels listed in their offer who said that only 25% of the traiff will be discounted. Then I enquired with travelport about the actual offer. They then started narrating me what is the procedure for encashing this scratch card. They never replied what is the exact amount of discount in hotel tariff. In fact there is no method by which you can ensure that your booking is free of cost. It is better for people to refrain from such packages.
                                        TravelPort is the name of the holiday destination provoder, they are frauds they rejected my form, giving reason that i didnt give my 2 destination option they are frauds big frauds...
                                        getting holiday packages in rewards or prizes is a very simple marketing funda.firstly hardly 5-10 % of the people who have won gofor the holidays.then there are extra charges such as utility charges and taxes which have to be borne by the customer.for e.g if a person has won a holiday voucher for 3nights and 4 days then the person has to pay utility charges on per night basis all amounting to the profit of the hotel.then all the superior hotels wont be avaliable as required.the rooms are given to travel agencies at a very nominal fees and even given on exchange for other products and services.so at the end of the day if the customer has won the free package, then he/she is entitled to pay for all the possible extras + the utility charges + travelling + meals...SO NOTHING IS FREE...ITS ALWAYS BETTER TO go directly to any hotel and take their rooms or packages...
