On 4thApril I called Vodafone to activate my 3G plan, and deactivate blackberry plan.
I was told, As my billing cycle is 3rd to 2nd, so, the BB plan has already been activated, and will be charged for full month, even If I deactivate. So I was suggested that, I use this plan for the month, and on 1st or 2nd get the change done.
On 1st june I raised a request to activate my 3G plan and deactivate BB, The vodafone Executive knew the reason I am shifting, But HE DINT INFORM ME THAT IF I ACTIVATE THE PLAN EVEN 24HOURS BEFORE MY BILLING CYCLE, I WILL BE CHARGED.
Now, when I got my bill, I am charged for last months BB plan(justified), and am also charged for the 3G plan which got activated on 2nd May at 12AM.
That means, After giving me false information, and not informing about the plans, Vodafone easily fooled me into paying which was not justified.
I am one of the vodafone's oldest customer, with high credit limit... thus if vodafone can do this with its old customers, they cannot be trusted for new connections atall.

I have all the details of all downloads on my phone since May 2014. I can provide screen shots of them if required. All of my downloads, are free small content, and nothing of which need to be charged.
The amount may be small, but I do not intend to pay a single penny other than my own usage, if Vodafone just wants to cheat the customers. The same Fraud activity has been done for several of my friends bills as well. They have all reported a fake charge of Rs 49 or 99 for some download that hasn't happened on their phone. I have proper information that Vodafone has used this same tactics to cheat several others customers from various places. Some of the Content names shown as "Downloaded" are "wapvilla_ppd" charging Rs 49, "shotformat" charging Rs 99 etc.. Vodafone Customer care is so utterly Useless and all they reply if we call up and complaint is that "Their Vodafone Billing systems are correct & up to date, & that there is no error". What about the 100s of people who are complaining everywhere with the same download content name & amount.
This is highly unprofessional for such a big Telephone Network Company, and I'm sure they will not last long if they intend to Fool customers like this.

I am discontinuing Vodafone
Vodafone has charged me total of Rs 124 + Tax /- for downloading vuclipindia_pack75 of Rs 75 & along with wapvilla_ppd of Rs 49/-. in last month's september bill. So in all they have charged me Rs 124/- for downloading a stuff which I had never downloaded. When I called their Customer Forum for explaination they had no proper explaination. They just keep on sending me one line with incomplete details "You downloaded vuclipindia_p***** on 21/09/14-06:23:54 and wapvill****** on 25/09/14-07:11:11". I jhave never downloaded this kind of stuff or never visited these websites. This is fraud i need a proper explanation why should i pay when i haven't downloaded anything. Solve my query asap. Sad such a multinational company like vodafone using cheap means to earn extra bucks…shame on you guys. I am also gonna register a complaint and discontinue vodafone service for sure. I don't understand by using these cheap tricks you guys might gain some money but will losse customers. I have read hundreds of such complaints in which you guys have charged for these nonsense things.
Although i know you don't have any solution for this but still again want to hear that useless customer service foolish reply.

So many people are facing the same problem, Why isn't anyone taking up the issue at a legal forum. Below is a quote of an email from Vodafone. The reply is so cryptic and meaningless.

All these days I faced only network problem. Now I am facing billing problem with Vodafone. For my number, I have activated data plan before two months. My billing shows (for this two months), I have downloaded some application named wap villa. I haven’t downloaded any application and this application is not available in my mobile. Last month while paying my amount, I called your customer care and I have told that I have not downloaded any application, however I paid my bill.
Again this month I have been told that I have downloaded same application and charged 150 rupees. If this is going to continue, I don’t want to have your Vodafone number. You guys are charging an unknown amount every month which is not downloaded or utilized by me. I am not going to pay this 150 rupees and I will pay only the remaining amount Rs.350/-.
I also want to disconnect my relationship with Vodafone. I don’t like to have network issue and billing issue with you guys every month. I have enough proof that how many complaints I have raised for network problem.
Please let me know how I can port all my 4 numbers. I DON’T want your connection henceforth.
I'd like to gladly inform you that I have put my port request. It was my mistake that I ever took the sick Vodafone Connection.. CHEATS, FRAUDS, ...#@%!$#%!@!!! I really hope & pray that every other Vodafone customer also ports away from ur network, and that all o[censored] will loose ur jobs for cheating so many people around the world. And that Vodafone gets doomed.. As I remember it, Hutch connection were facing problems, and Vodafone bought Hutch.. Now we see why you mobile companies face issues.. U think u r smart by cheating educated people..?? Thankfully, we do read through our bills.. Its not a matter of amount, as to how much False amount u r trying to steal from people. Its about Integrity.. U people r cheats, and Corrupt. N I hope Vodafone goes down d gutter..!

i was charged for using of website wapvilla and mydala sites which i never used and i never got notification for the same. When I called to customer support they said no to log the complint which is not acceptable. Executives talked very rudely. can someone call and resolve the same otherwise i will switch to Airtel for the same.

I am using this number for last 6 years and I do not have time to get it ported!! I am frustrated with the services of vodaphone!!
I have send the email to them but to the response they say, ( to use the GPRS services cautiously and avoid clicking on the links and advertisements available on the websites. )
if Vodaphone is not going to solve we should all switch the service provider!!
I have been also cheated by Vodafone. Appvilla download charges of 49 rs is billed evrymonth in my post paid bill.
I really dont know why these chrges are billed to me. I have called 198 today 1 am 23rd Nov. The customer service representative put my call on hold for 32 mins and then he disconnected the call. This is frustating. I contacted consumer forum. I will follow the process and file a case. Also spread this news to all social media website. Everybody should know what vodafone is doing with post paid customers.
