Hello, I am vodafone postpaid user(+91 [protected]) since 2005. On a longterm onsite contract on April 15th 2014, I came to US and on 15th April 2014 I have given an online request for international roaming service with a monthly plan of 1499/- and later I got message that International Roaming Service is activated on my mobile. But on a transit when I reached Honkong and there I checked the vodafone service and i see NO NETWORK. And after I reached US, again I checked to see NO SERVICE registered with Vodafone or AT&T(roaming support for Vodafone). As I didn't get any service I sent a mail to Vodafonerelations.[protected]@vodafone.com asking for disconnecting the service. But till today I got two bills where I see adding the Roaming charge for May month and monthly rental charge. Since from last 45 days I didn't get any proper response from vodafone for disconnecting the service. Thanks and Regards, Madhukar ti.[protected]@gmail.com [protected]

    worst service...last two days my sim not active and my number is [protected]...all customer service number always busy...no proper response at serive center also...so please do needful for this.

    I m Siddhartha ([protected]) and I recently took a vodafone connection. After a few days my sim was deactivated due to some reason, when I contacted the nearest voda centre they told me to pay some deposit and my sim will be activated in no time which I did, its almost 1day and my sim is still not activated. There are still other complaints which are too long to mention.

    * I have used 2 other services in the past for a long time and never had any problems with them but when i switched to vodafone, in the past 10 days I had made around 10 to 20 calls to customer care, live chat, gone to vodafone store and every thing that can be done and still there is no response from you(vodafone).

    * This is the worst service one can or cannot offer

    * Can you please inform me the procedure of getting out of your faithful service, I mean out of vodafone.

    hi my name is sunny gupta i changed my prepaid connection to postpaid connection for which my verification was done of my home address and everything was fine on initial stage my sim got activated and after that my outgoing was bared and i had one no of my Deepak [protected] he is such a bad employee who dont even pick the calls of customer. PLZ DON'T TAKE ANY SIM OF VODAFONE AS FOR VERIFICATION YOU MAY NEED TO CALL DEEPAK and he is a irresponsible person i am so angry i would have complain on higher authority if i had any thing to whom i can complain my contact is [protected]

      I have a vodafone postpaid connection [protected]. In the monthly bill for the period 24 April-23 May 2014, I am charged Rs.99/- under an item "download". When I called up the customer care, they said a file has been downloaded named shotformat_dw****** for which Rs.99/- were charged. When I asked them what this file is, they had no idea. They said it could have been a chargeable item which I may have downloaded from a website. However, I did not download anything that was chargeable to my carrier. I have a 3G datapack of 1gb, and my data limit had not exhausted. They don't even know if this file is a song, a game, a software or a video. I do not understand that if they don't know what I have downloaded, how can they charge me? When I told them that it has to be some error in their system, they simply refused. I tried to log a complaint on 198, but they continuously argued with me and did not log any complaint. I am sure they are over-charging me.

      No, my complaint has not been resolved and the issue persists. I have not got any details regarding the download that has been charged to me. After talking to 3 customer care executives I can infer that Vodafone intends not to disclose the details of the bill item. I just want to know which site has charged me through my carrier. If it is not you and you do not have the details then to whom would you give the amount billed to me for the download?

      If I had downloaded sent me technical details.
      Vodafone is not giving the technical details that is the main issue which arises suspicion..they say we do not know what this file is and from where u have downloaded it..simply overcharging..
      I have a vodafone number and charged Rs60/- for download. When I chat with I got the following information.

      We assure you that our billing system accurately monitors data usage just the same as Voice and SMS usage. This ensures that you are billed only for the service which you have actually utilized.

      Any additional downloads (like games/song/wallpapers etc) will be charged as per the product details mentioned along with the data charges.
      E.g if a wallpaper cost is mentioned as Rs.10, you will be charged Rs.10 along with data charges depending on the download size of the wallpaper.

      Hence, we are unable to reverse the same.

      I have also been been cheated by Vodafone .


      a fake charge of Rs 327/- against downloading of application in " d2c_ndtv_valu", "hello1_tvalls" &
      "shotformat_dw" are loaded in monthly Bill ( Dec2014) of my postpaid mobile connection [protected].The application have never been down loaded in my mobile and same was checked in my mobile application/downloading system. Couldn't understand how did Vodafone charge in my account which I have never utilized ? I made online complaint to nodal officer UPW through mail .But nodal officer denied to refund /reverse the unusual charges .Before that same type charges were uploaded in my monthly bill and reversed by Vodafone as accepted error .But this time they have denied .I also made complaint to Appellate officer, but reply received from same officer who was Nodal officer, UPW . How this could be possible that both officer will be same ? as per the web content of Vodafone both officers are different.This is completely harassment of customer.
      Guys same problem with me .I was charged Rs 495 for downloading charges .I have activated my 2G data pack, which is not consumed completely till the end of month .Then how could the charge me any downloading charge .

      Vodafone done have any good roaming plan so i asked for porting my number to AIRTEL and from the same month the bill is added with download charge .
      Guy I have received my refund after forwarding complaint to Sec TRAI and Sec. competition commission of India( email can get from their website).After my complaint to TRAI & CCI I got phone call from vodafone that vodafone will adjust amt in next bill after approval of CA.I got refund in next bill.pl forward your complaint to Sec./ joint sec of TRAI & CCI.

            I am an employee of ESSAR OIL LTD residing in Essar Township, Jamnagar. Majority of the people out here have Vodafone, since it is the only network that used to catch good signal. For the past two months, everyone out here in Jamnagar and Essar oil (in Vadinar) has been experiencing TERRIBLE network issues as well as internet connectivity problems. This is EXTREMELY IRRITATING for all o[censored]s. We have spoken to the Vodafone Gujarat customer care a couple of times regarding this issue. They however simply said that it is not in their hands. Even the most remote villages have network. We all literally feel like we are living in a jungle. Please look into this issue sincerely as we are all suffering.

                Dear Sir, I used ([protected]) Vodafone Sim Since 1 year with same plan, but recently your changed the previous plan without intimation. As per previous plan I used my sim but i received present plan (I think its working previous plan after received bill i was shocked). Please change my plan and process the bill as per previous plan. If your not consider my request i am not able to use your network.. Please consider above the same and do the needful action as soon as possible Dear Sir, My current Plan is NC_DL_MV_Alankit99 and without any intimation Vodafone people has changed my current Plan to ST_CR_MV_E_Talk_99 which is totally illegal as my billing cycle starts from 25th March to 24th April Midnight. Despite my continuous explanations to Vodafone customer care executives they seem to stick to the same behavior and as per My Bill Dated 25th March My Billing Cycle should be from 25th March to 24th April Midnight. So I requested many times with Vodafone customer care executives to change my plan into my previous plan which is NC_DL_MV_Alankit99 & I also requested them to discount the extra amount which was charged to me. After many repeated calls they changed my account into NC_DL_MV_Alankit99, but they didn’t discount the extra amount which was charged to my account unnecessarily and without my knowledge. What I want is the same plan and the extra amount to be discounted from my account. If this is the way Vodafone treats its customer then you can understand how ethical they would be at service... So, I hereby request to kindly take initiative and do the needful.

                My current Plan is NC_DL_MV_Alankit99 and without any intimation Vodafone people has changed my current Plan to ST_CR_MV_E_Talk_99 which is totally illegal as my billing cycle starts from 25th March to 24th April Midnight.

                    Hi, I my name is Sumedh and my Vodafone No.[protected], I am very disappointed with the Vodafone Service for unauthorized deductions from last 2 Weeks. I almost lost more than 50 Rs.(Rs, 15, Rs, 25, Rs.5...) and still going on... I called up many times to Vodafone Customer care to raise a complaint but they are useless and said we cannot do anything about it and deny to lodge my complaint.                         Date of bill payment is 12 June, 2014. I have paid bill on June 02, 2014. After payment of bill, Outgoing calls are restricted. Its been more then 24 hours and I have called more than 8 times to the executives, however my problem is not being resolved.

                        Each time I call, the executive tells me to switch off and then switch on the phone. And always they tell me to wait for 2 hours.

                        Executive are not taking my request of deactivating the number as well.

                        Above that they are charging me for the same.

                          i had recently visited the vodafone outlet regarding my billing issues.but they misguided me and told me to visit that outlet from where i had purchased the sim card.they did not even give the full detail of my bill or call summary as i had requested them so many times.i had already registered my e-mail account and request for itemized bill.i wanted to know that what is my fault if vodafone did not get the request information.i just wanted that they should provide me the full call sumary so that i will analyse it and pay the future bills.

                            TO vodafone >>>> what the hell your service providers are doing. I have just got a corporate number and also got my previous number converted to postpaid under same plan . Initially they activated my number that too after stopping my services for 2 hours, now after verification they barred outgoing without any pre information. Is this the way to treat your customers?? I did show all the required documents to the person who came for verification and they said that my verification went negative. NOW If my verification was negative then they must have given me some information before hand so that i could have managed some alternative number. M a doctor and an emergency can come any time, , WHO will be responsible for that???????????? STill my number ( [protected] ) is not active and its been more than 14 hours... beside they haqve not activated my data plans from last 60 hours

                                  Date : June 2, 2014 Vodafone Connection No. : [protected] Name of the Owner ( of the Mobile Phone ) : Ms. ALOKANANDA MUKHOPADHYAY Scheme : Pre-Paid. Facts : On 19.05.2014, I paid Rs. 23/- towards recharging my set for availing discounted rate. On 26.05.2014, I paid Rs.50/- (Credit awarded Rs.41/-) towards recharging my set. On 28.05.2014, in the evening, my set showed a message that my available balance was '0' i.e. Nil. but immediately after about an hour, it again revived by balance to Rs. 41/- Since, evening 29.05.2014, my set again showing 'Nil' Balance. On 30.05.2014, I contacted you through '198'. One Mr. Waheed/Waheer replied that due to use of Internet even on 30th morning, balance became 'Nil'. Now, when Balance on 29.05.2014 was 'Nil', how I used Internet on 30.05.2014. Please look into the matter and immediately revive my Balance to appropriate amount.

                                    I have submitted a request to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com to cancel my contractual obligation with vodafone through email on 22nd may 2014 & provide confirmation. The vodafone team emailed saying the Vodafone specialized team will call me asking reasons n all and they provided a reference number[protected] . I do got a call & explained them that i am fed up of the 3G services they provide & hence wish to port out from vodafone. They said they would be processing the request, but i got no confirmation from them. So I emailed again on 26th may 2014 & again the same reply i got that "The specialized vodafone team" will call me. This time with referenec no.[protected]. I received the call again & after explaining the issues to the person once again. They said they will process this now. I awaited confirmation or at least a response from them. Which they didn't provide. I called them back on 28th quoting the 2nd reference number. And it was only then when they told me that the reference number is updated with comment " The mail was not sent from a registered mail id". Whose responsibility is to mail me this information? I cannot dream of what comment has been updated for the reference number..!! Next.. I emailed them once again from my registered email id on 29th may 2014. But this time unlike the previous matter, they didn't even respond back. No " Specialized Vodafone team" this time? I was waiting & waiting for at least a mail response...!! So i called the customer care again today on 02 June 2014. Firstly they put me on hold & after 10 min of waiting they cut the call. Then i called again. They kept on transferring the call to some or the other department, but no body transferred the call to the correct incharge officer inspite of requesting 20 times. Finally some agent said that I have to re-send the mail again to get a reply..!!! Upon denying that & asking him to provide this in written communication, he gave me the that the mail which i sent for cancellation is "NOT IN THE CORRECT FORMAT..!! " Who the hell in the world would tell this to the customers..???? Where is the correct format described, What should be the subject line? When i asked the person to respond/reply all this back to me on email. He said he cannot email me this.!! I have to note down all this ..! These people simply provide such lame excuses to not to process your request...!! Finally I have emailed from my registered email id to close/shut down my vodafone number permanently..!! N that too in the format described by the agent on call..! Can you believe that?? I hope atleast now they process this request..!! Coz I am not going to pay any bill after the current billing cycle. They are "HAPPY TO HARRASS...!! instead of Happy To Help..!!

                                      Hi Team, I am VERY UPSET with the service provided from VODAFONE. Issue:- I have purchased SIM on 14th may, at that time Mr. Karnat [[protected]] informed me that after verification my SIM will be activated by 9 PM IST – 15th may. He dint mentioned that anyone will visit my house neither he informed nor asked me regarding their visit time. On 15th may Mr. Ravi [[protected]] came to my house for verification at 5.30 pm IST, which is my working hours. He din even asked my neighbor. I called him back around 7om when I was at home, he said he can’t come today, will come to office(Hinjewadi) for verification on 16th may. 16th may when I called Ravi he din responded. I went to Karnat, he said it will be activated by today. Its almost 15days my SIM has not been activated. Request you to kindly see to it and resolve ASAP. Regards, Neha [protected]

                                        I took new vodafone corporate postpaid connection, found that it was a number of a person named Mehdi Hasan.


                                        He had used it and registered it on WHATSAPP, his last seen was June, 2013.


                                        When I Upgraded Whatsapp with my new number, In my whatsapp directory I found Mehdi Hasan's groups named "Tal
                                        iban", "Gullugang", "Masum Parindey", etc. which are suspicious.

                                        Also I received a call from some number named Shabbir asking for Mehdi and who I was.

                                        On the same day received an SMS from a number saying "Hi Dear, I miss you Please call me ".


                                        How can Vodafone sell me an already used number ???
