vodafone customer — Disturbing Very Much

Vodafone is disturbing me by sending unwanted messages. I receive atleast 20 to 25 unwanted messages in a day. It really irritates me a lot to read the unwanted messages received in my cell.

Hello Sir, I m Dhan Bahadur karki, very much disappointed with Vodafone services as m getting every day a IVR call related to Bhakti sagar caller tune for which i have been charged Rs 2 per day at my mobile no. [protected] and when i didnt recieve also i have been chardged the same amt . and i call 198 and 111 customer care to solve this but they says it will b resolve by 24 hrs but now it had been 9 days no resolution have been done yet till 2day, so pls do kindly help me to sorrt out the problem or else i will discontinue your servicves

    I have a Vodafone Prepaid card. I used it, but then I was out of the country for 3 months, when I came back, my phone read a message 'sim card registration failed'. I called the Vodafone helpline 111, when I was told that I will have to recharge for Rs.20 to start the phone. I paid Rs.20 but still my phone did not start. I called Vodafone helpline again, then they told me that your number is permanently deactivated. When I requested for reversal of my money, I was asked to contact my dealer. After contacting the dealer, after he talked to his helpline '765' they said if you recharge for minimum of Rs. 50 then only your money will be refunded. I again called Vodafone but they say they cannot help me refund my money.

    I want to know how to get my money back. Isn't Rs. 20 important for Vodafone? Why shouldnot I get my money back.

    Hutch (Prepaid Recharge) — Phone out of service

    yesterday i recharged a hutch prepaid connection by Rs 2222 prepaid card and right after recharging that number i tried that number and it was giving a message that the phone is temporarily out of service.
    how can it be possible.i want to know this

    vodafone prepaid card — no network in roaming

    I have come to Harihar from Pune. My sim card is from Maharashtra. I am not getiing any network here in roaming. All the manual settings are also done but still not receiving any network.

    vodafone prepaid card — Non Issuance of Bill

    Hi,

    I had recharged 850 talk time from a retail shop near Asmita Building, Milap Theater, S.V.Road, Malad west. The name of shop was not known as there is no proper board. The only visble name was United Systems.

    Earlier (A year back), The retail owner had given me a pakka bill for recharge of 850 done for Vodafone. When, I asked for the bill, he was just giving me kaccha bill in plain peace of paper. When I asked that I need pakka bill, he told me I should have told him earlier i.e before the transaction of 850. He refused to give me the bill. Unffortunately, i had made the payment, otherwise I would have refused to pay till he had issued me the bill. I told him that they had given me the bill earlier and now why they are refusing to do so. They dint entertation my request and when i told them that i will lodge a complaint they advised me to do so.

    Such attitude is in violence of Consumer Protection Act whereby non issue of invoice for goods and services traded are subjected to issuance of bill. Such retailers should be punished so that consumers right are protected.

    I sincerely, request you to kindly do the needful at the earliest.

      respected sir, actuly i want to compalint about vodafone prepaid coustmer care excutives and there services....i am suffering due to sms charges...i have recharge by a scheme 115 in wich sms are absolutletly free bt till i got charges. i recharge with 115rs both times bt vodafone are so much greedy n behave like thiefs...i m suffering from this problem from many days bt coustmer care are so irresponisble n dont give me any satisfied solution..i realy very angry due to their service...one thing more is that vodafone coustmer excutives are giving different wrong answer each time i am shocked..pls reply as soon as possible they are cheating with like many peoples My no is--[protected]..VODAFONE IS REALY A CHEATER REALYY.......

      vodafone pre paid — Unnecessary messages

      I have subcribed to Vodafone prepaid service and got a number [protected] on 07 March 09. Ever since then I am constantly getting messages on my cell to provide my photo and address proof to the nearest Vodafone centre to avail uninterrupted services. This is to intimate to you that I have already provided the same when I subscribed to the prepaid service. I would therefore request that these messages should be stopped forthwith.

      sir, when i chage my sim or put my sim to another mobile they deduct 60 paisa balance everytime i do this...

      My vodafone no. is [protected]. I recharged with the available offer of balance of [protected]@Rs320 two days ago, and I still have not got the remaining balance. On trying to call 198 customer care(as per vodafone site - http://www.vodafone.in/pages/home_mum.aspx?cid=mum ) the message is "Please check the number you have dialed". I also recharged with 98/- sms pack but there is no confirmation if the sms pack is active or any way of knowing my current sms balance. Other customer care numbers 111 and +91 [protected] only lead to IVR(Interactive Voice Response) with no other way to contact customer care. All in all, its very disappointing.

      Vodafone — Shitty Sms scheme

      Why is stoppage on the number of sms. Are you people so jobless..?? You are hampering our only way of quick communication. What are your real intentions....??? Cause this is certainly not helping us in ANY WAY.

        Hi,
        I am a subscriber of Vodafone corporate account. I have also taken a complimentary number for my wife ([protected]). I am dissatisfied with the sevices provided by your company in maharashtra circle due to the following reasons.

        1) When i subscribed to the number(s) from Wanowarie store, those were activated after 1 weeks time out of no reasons.
        2) When my mobile got activated, I was asked to pay a deposit of 1000/- which is not a regular practice for corporate account as far as my knowledge is concerned.
        3) It was told by a sales executive from Wanowarie Vishnukant Gawande that my deposit would be adjusted in the second bill automatically. Even though I visited the store on 20th October and confirmed Vishnukant whether it is done or not and it was told that it is being done.
        4) The mobile number [protected] was blocked suddenly without any notice on 24-Oct-2009 reason being given that the bill has not been paid.
        5) Again i went personally to Wanowarie Store and confirmed the situation with Vishnukant and without any proper reason he said that it will be done by evening.
        6) Again I trusted Mr. Vishnukant but today (26-Oct-2009) again the mobile phone is barred of outgoing.

        My complaint is when a sales executive commits certain things to customers, then why it is not being adhered. I understand that there may be some data problem arriving but in this case atleast the customer should be informed so that he/she may come to know the situation in advance.
        Also when such issues are raised to customer care 111 then they asks us to visit the store personally and resolve the issue by themselves which i find very abusive. I want to know what action is being taken in this case against Vishnukant Gawande and trust vodafone atleast in this respect. Should you any concern please revert back to [protected].

          I am facing same problem, I purchased a sim from vodafone executive with a promise that i will get aassured gift from vodafone, after the paying my first post paid bill.But after laps of three weeks from the bill paymet, i neither got any gift nor any communication from vodafone till now. my voucher no.1754710 and cell no is [protected]

            respected sir/madam,
            My name is MAHESH YADAV. I had activated for a message pack last month . At the end of the duration (last day) for that message pack to be active, the balance in my prepaid account was 0.00RS. The next day the message pack was automatically activated by vodafone and the balance in my account became -49RS(NEGATIVE). I got it recharged by 49 RS . And then again recharged for 20 RS . Then my balance became -34(negative). I have lost 49 RS and the vodafone people arent giving me back the money. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS!

            sometimes in 11 days and even the same msg pack gets over other time in 16 days.

              Talk plan changed without my permission / acknowledgement

              I have accenture 299 plan and as an employee I pay the bill not the organization. My talk plan was changed by Vodafone without any formal communication from Accenture to accenture 249.

              The change in plan has escalated my bill amount more than 4 times. I use to get bill between Rs. 700 to 1000 and after change in talk plan it has escalated to greater than Rs. 3600/- This is certainly not acceptable to me. With reference to...

              I recharged last month with 119 offer and got only "50 paise/min all over india" facility , "validity 6 mnths" and "Talktime -10 Rs"

              Though this month Vodafone is offering under same scheme ---"50 paise/min all over india" + "1 yr validity" + "talktime of Rs. 50".

              I just want to say why i have been cheated because i took this offer 1 month before other.
              So i am on loss.
              Its so ridiculous just to get extra money from us, they are changing features under same scheme in a month.
              119 i spent last month , now giving new features , they want us to recharge again for same offer if we want more advantage.
              what vodafone thinks , everyone is dumb over here.

              they should provide this facility , the upgraded one to all who had already purchased the scheme and the new ones.

              m planning to change my vodafone no. it is quite annoying. you are forced to recharge. i recharged with rs.119 plans. it was written unlimited calls for 28 days with 1 gb. i recharged but then after just two days it says youre balance is low. WTF this vodafone is doing. im gonna switch to airtel and jio. its really annoying. and i forgot one thing.. i was only able to call for only 2 hours 50 minutes each day.

                  Even I have sent the courier for the gift and this should not happen, as this way public will stop trusting VODAFONE and will not take further connections.and we will be then claiming the same for cheating us.
                  Ven I have sent the courier 30 days ago but I have not recd my gift. I do not have any trust on vodafone anymore. I will not advice anyone to take a vodafone connection because of this breach of trust.

                    I Dr. Preeti R. Kantharia have been using Vodafone Postpaid Card Number [protected] under plan GK199 since last few years.

                    It has come to my notice since last about 10 days that whenever I make a call a flash message appears on my mobile screen 'CLOSED GROUP 1 IN USE'

                    I am shocked ans surprised to see this and when I enquired i was again surprised to know that Vodafone has changed my plan by clubbing my mobile number with other group members without my consent or notice.

                    Sir, Since I am Professional (Dental Surgeon) my work is very precised and requires lot of concentration. My mind is very much disturbed and tense and I feel there is a foul play and conspiracy planned against me, and I have incurred heavy loss due to the above reason.

                    Sir I therefore request you to please look into this matter and help me accordingly.

                      my son akshay kumar with vodfone no.[protected] had two more family connections [protected] for me and [protected] for another member of the family under a scheme of vodafone where their agent recorded my name wrongly as "akshay kumar N sangwan" instead of my name "narendra kumar sangwan or N.K.Sangwan" .as a result bills are wrongly being sent in wrong name.my son has paid my last bill of Rs 532/- Due date 6/10/09 .I hav asked him not to pay future bills since i am not getting reimbursement of the bills amount from my office since my name is not recorded in the phone bills.Inspite of making several oral and written complaints to vodafone office about a month back with copy of office I-Card and residence allotment letter they hav not taken any action.thus customer service of vodafone is 100 times worse than the MTNL people.                         I got a 98 bonus card. I was told by your customer care helpline that the black out days are 17th and 18th October. (I have a recording of that conversation). Still when I send sms on 16th October the amount was deducted from my regular balnce and accordingly they my balance of Rs. 257/- became zero. When I than called helpline I was told that I should visit a Vodafone Gallery and make them hear the recording. Upon confirming the recording they will refund my amount. So I visited the Vodafone gallery on the same day and booked my complaint. Complaint registration no.[protected]. They said that the matter will be resolved by 21st October. Now they say that they will not refund my balance although it was their fault. Please help.

                        This is to inform you that I have taken Vodafone Connection as per below mentioned Tariff in which we have got some Local & STD calls free but the bill sent by Vodafone is not as per their promise. They had given us the signed Tariff Plan as well confirm the same by their Customer Care Deptt. They have generated the bill of all following numbers without giving any discount. So that we are appealing to you that please take the necessary action against Vodafone, because they have cheated us. They are mentally harassing by calling again & again and say to take new plan . We hope that you will do the needful.

                        But in all the bills every local call except CUG No. Are charged @ .15/.30 paisa and all STD Calls are charged @ 0.80.

                        Vodafone — Cheated by them

                        I got a 98 bonus card with which i can send 1000 local and national sms within 30 days. I was told by their call centre helpline that the black out days are 17th and 18th October. (I have a recording of that conversation). Still when I send sms on 16th October the amount was deducted from my regular balance and accordingly then my balance of Rs. 257/- became zero. When I then called their helpline I was told that I should visit a Vodafone Gallery and make them hear the recording. Upon confirming the recording they will refund my amount. So i visited the Vodafone gallery on the same day and booked my complaint. Complaint registration no.[protected]. They said the the matter will be resolved by 21st October. Now they say that they will not refund my balance although they agree that it was their fault. Please help.

                        I have used vodafone from 03 months and my no is [protected].Sir when I take sim card from Vodafone Store Saltlake Kolkata they had told me that you will get Itemwise Bill per month and its totally free but from the starting of this month I had got a message from Vodafone that if you omit Itemwise Bill you will get 50% discount on your bill so I had send a request to them omit my itemwise bill.But when they send this month bill they had charged me for itemwise bill but for 3 months they had not charge for it as well as they had not given me 50% discount also.So I think they had cheated me as well as when I contact with Customer Care they told me that its your fault adn also told me that its not Vodafone fault from anty end.Sir, So I request to you please look after my matter and resove it as early as possible.

                        I have been using the service for close to 15 years now and have contributed to huge revenue on Vodafones part.

                        I have been cheated and taken advantage of for being an old customer.
                        Over the past 2-3 years, I have been using yearly internet plan and pay for it annually also. Suddenly one fine day Vodafone decides to disconnect my yearly subscription and switch me over to open usage rates when I have not even asked for it. I have not been informed or taken authorization for disconnection of yearly plan or activation of full rate usage.
                        You can see in the account details that I have been using data services for the last few years, yet your representatives insist that there was and is no data plan active on my number. I find this highly questionable and dishonest.

                        I am really shocked and appalled by the business ethics employed by a supposedly consumer driven company.

                        Once again, I will not be held responsible for your internal miscommunication and dishonest methods.

                        I am attaching the mail I sent to you and a few other consumer protection organizations.

                        I really do not wish to waste any more time on this issue since it has already been pending for almost 2 months now. I hope you do not force me to consult my legal department or escalate the issue on social media sites and gather more vodafone consumers who have been duped and cheated in a similar way.

                        The charges mentioned on my account are fraudulent and false and I will not be liable to pay for Vodafones errors/mistakes/frauds.

                        I have called my relationship manager more than 15 times and with no resolution of the problem. Every time I am assured that I will receive a call 'within 24 hours" and till date I am still to receive any calls from Vodafone.

                        I have been falsely charged the amount of Rs. 7538.97, which has now increased even more with your fraudulent charges; under the pretext that I had called up vodafone 6 months in advance and asked for deactivation of my internet plan 6 months into the future and apparently Vodafone took my request for 6 months in the future. This is the kind o[censored]nbelievable lies I was told by the representative. Shocking as it sounds, it is complete lies.

                        On calling again, I was told a different story that there was some technical error on vodafone side and they messed up the data account and did not switch me over to the plan renewal and instead decided without my knowledge or permission to deactivate my currently used data plan and charge me full data rates without any plan.

                        It has now been over a month and several calls from my side with no resolution. As frustrating and appalling as Vodafone has made the situation, I would like a final resolution of the problem or a switchover to another service provider.

                            gave a request for disconnection of my cell no. They took no action on it and continued to keep the connection active for a few months and now demand money for the entire period. They are really BAD ....consumers are advised to stay away.............from this company

                                My mobile number is [protected]. I have recharged (topup) of Rs. 100 with Rs. 88.66 talktime on Wed Oct 20, 2009. The transaction ID is KK[protected].

                                I have made 3 to 4 local calls, the balance enquiry shows negative balance Rs. -0.14. Please check and revert with justification.

                                The caller tune has been activated forcefully without any notice, and there is no control to stop this. Calling customer care is useless as all of the time the number is busy or "service is not available".

                                  I Anuj Singh, i am near about 2 year old user of vodafone.

                                  Vodafone offered me an add-on connection with 222talkplan against my current postpaid

                                  connection then I
                                  paid rs 250 as activation charge for that[protected] with receipt details as under-
                                  INTOUCH SOLUTIONS Pvt Ltd., C-161, Hemkunt House, Gautam Nagarm Beside Community Centre,

                                  Yusuf Sarai,New Delhi-110 049
                                  serial no-19419.
                                  SIM given to me was no-[protected].

                                  This SIM was issued on the name NEELKANT SINGH (my brother)
                                  since the sim was not activated because plan offered by intouch representative &

                                  activation department was different than i denied to activate my SIM. after that i moved

                                  to vodafone store "NAVYUG MARKET GHAZIABAD" where i claimed to refund security money

                                  rs.250/- that i paidf for the SIM. they logged my request to refund the security.

                                  On Dated[protected] i have collected my a cheque no. 928416, issue date[protected] from

                                  the side of INTOUCH SOLUTIONS of Rs150 only. While Representative of INTOUCH SOLUTIONS

                                  committed me that whenever u will surrender your SIM you will get full payment of Rs250.

                                  he told me that you are our very old user thats why there is no any kind of security deposite, membership fees etc, we are taking activation charge olny RS.250/- that is fully refundable.
                                  When I got my cheque from vodafone store i discussed about it with store executive he told me that Rs100 has been detucted as processing charges.
                                  So why I pay these charges while this was not in my knowledge. Any how, I want to get my full payment. Because your guyes did'n told me earlier, so this is problem that how you will refund my remaining Balance of Rs. 100/-
                                  I hope, you will take a positive action on my complaint before my strong step against you

                                  I have exactly the same story. I have been using vodafone for last 2.5 years.I got many calls for add on connection on my number. On approximately 50th call I accepted the offer, I paid the security amount Rs 250/- and I received a SIM too. They called me for activation of the new SIM and allotted me a number. But my new SIM has not yet activated. When I called customer care, they told me that my number has already been allotted to someone else and they ask me to visit vodafone store. When I ask them Why do I have to visit vodafone store, it's not my fault? then they simply say Ma'am we can't help it. And the person- Gagan ([protected]) who took the responsibility of activation has stopped attending my calls. There are many mobile companies out there, but I continued using vodafone till now because I trusted it. Now I am forced to take stringent actions against vodafone if my problem will not be solved as soon as possible. It is not the matter of rs 250/- it is a matter of trust that I had in vodafone.

                                  Vodafone Postpaid Connection — not refunded rs.250/- since march 2009

                                  sir vodaphone has to refund me Rs. 250/- in r/o cancelation of conversion of vodaphone prepaid to post paid which was committed me by thier executives time to time . my no is [protected]
                                  I am agree with u Poornima bcoz it is not the matter of rs 250/- it is a matter of trust that we have in vodafone. I ask to vodafone that why your executives make fool to vodafone's valuable customers to achieve their Sale target. It is not fair

                                      I utkarsh having no. [protected] since 6 months of vodafone. suddenly from today ( 21.10.2009) morning my service is disactivated withoud any reasons. when I contact customer service they told me your service is terminated.

                                      In futher investigation they told me your a/c is post paid, but from begining i am recharges the topup and was applied for prepaid service. just two days before i spock in customer servise regarding 60 ps per minut call and they guide me for Rs 70/- recharge. at that time all my information which i have given in my application form was appering in your system correctly, now suddenly customer services saying that information which you are telling is not maching at all with our system records, may i know how it is possible. I have spoken lot of time with customer services with same details now they are not populating in your system how????????????????????????

                                      now they are adviceing me to visit vodafone store. they can not help me out. it is very irretating due to your mistack why should i suffer, I do not that much time to visit your store(nearest) which is far away (25 kms) from my location.
