my son akshay kumar with vodfone no.[protected] had two more family connections [protected] for me and [protected] for another member of the family under a scheme of vodafone where their agent recorded my name wrongly as "akshay kumar N sangwan" instead of my name "narendra kumar sangwan or N.K.Sangwan" .as a result bills are wrongly being sent in wrong name.my son has paid my last bill of Rs 532/- Due date 6/10/09 .I hav asked him not to pay future bills since i am not getting reimbursement of the bills amount from my office since my name is not recorded in the phone bills.Inspite of making several oral and written complaints to vodafone office about a month back with copy of office I-Card and residence allotment letter they hav not taken any action.thus customer service of vodafone is 100 times worse than the MTNL people. A confirmation of my comlaint was given by vodafone through SMS dated 6/10/09 with registration no.[protected],yet no response till date either of change of name or change of address from mahendra towers to breach candy area.-NARENDRA KUMAR SANGWAN,MOBILE-[protected],---RELATIONSHIP NO.--8.11510602.00.00.100008

    I got a 98 bonus card. I was told by your customer care helpline that the black out days are 17th and 18th October. (I have a recording of that conversation). Still when I send sms on 16th October the amount was deducted from my regular balnce and accordingly they my balance of Rs. 257/- became zero. When I than called helpline I was told that I should visit a Vodafone Gallery and make them hear the recording. Upon confirming the recording they will refund my amount. So I visited the Vodafone gallery on the same day and booked my complaint. Complaint registration no.[protected]. They said that the matter will be resolved by 21st October. Now they say that they will not refund my balance although it was their fault. Please help.

    Sub : Cheated by Vodafone

    This is to inform you that I have taken Vodafone Connection as per below mentioned Tariff in which we have got some Local & STD calls free but the bill sent by Vodafone is not as per their promise. They had given us the signed Tariff Plan as well confirm the same by their Customer Care Deptt. They have generated the bill of all following numbers without giving any discount. So that we are appealing to you that please take the necessary action against Vodafone, because they have cheated us. They are mentally harassing by calling again & again and say to take new plan . We hope that you will do the needful.

    At the time of giving the connection following terrif plan is intimated to us:-
    Monthly Rent 99 (after giving the discount of Rs. 300/-)
    CUG Call Unlimited free
    Local Call Free 450 M2M
    STD Call Free 200 M2M
    SMS Free 350 Local
    But in all the bills every local call except CUG No. Are charged @ .15/.30 paisa and all STD Calls are charged @ 0.80.

    Vodafone — Cheated by them

    I got a 98 bonus card with which i can send 1000 local and national sms within 30 days. I was told by their call centre helpline that the black out days are 17th and 18th October.     I have used vodafone from 03 months and my no is [protected].Sir when I take sim card from Vodafone Store Saltlake Kolkata they had told me that you will get Itemwise Bill per month and its totally free but from the starting of this month I had got a message from Vodafone that if you omit Itemwise Bill you will get 50% discount on your bill so I had send a request to them omit my itemwise bill.But when they send this month bill they had charged me for itemwise bill but for 3 months they had not charge for it as well as they had not given me 50% discount also.So I think they had cheated me as well as when I contact with Customer Care they told me that its your fault adn also told me that its not Vodafone fault from anty end.Sir, So I request to you please look after my matter and resove it as early as possible.

    Thanks for your mail. I regret to inform you though, the 30% discount offered is rather insulting to me. I am not asking for discount. I am asking to revoke the false charges altogether!!!
    I have been using the service for close to 15 years now and have contributed to huge revenue on Vodafones part.

    I have been cheated and taken advantage of for being an old customer.
    Over the past 2-3 years, I have been using yearly internet plan and pay for it annually also. Suddenly one fine day Vodafone decides to disconnect my yearly subscription and switch me over to open usage rates when I have not even asked for it. I have not been informed or taken authorization for disconnection of yearly plan or activation of full rate usage.
    You can see in the account details that I have been using data services for the last few years, yet your representatives insist that there was and is no data plan active on my number. I find this highly questionable and dishonest.

    I am really shocked and appalled by the business ethics employed by a supposedly consumer driven company.

    Once again, I will not be held responsible for your internal miscommunication and dishonest methods.

    I am attaching the mail I sent to you and a few other consumer protection organizations.

    I really do not wish to waste any more time on this issue since it has already been pending for almost 2 months now. I hope you do not force me to consult my legal department or escalate the issue on social media sites and gather more vodafone consumers who have been duped and cheated in a similar way.

    I hope you can reverse the fraudulent charges immediately and restore my phone services to its usual setting.

    I regret to let you know that I am suffering from the worst kind of customer service from Vodafone than I've ever experienced in my life.

    The charges mentioned on my account are fraudulent and false and I will not be liable to pay for Vodafones errors/mistakes/frauds.

    I have called my relationship manager more than 15 times and with no resolution of the problem. Every time I am assured that I will receive a call 'within 24 hours" and till date I am still to receive any calls from Vodafone.

    I have been falsely charged the amount of Rs. 7538.97, which has now increased even more with your fraudulent charges; under the pretext that I had called up vodafone 6 months in advance and asked for deactivation of my internet plan 6 months into the future and apparently Vodafone took my request for 6 months in the future. This is the kind o[censored]nbelievable lies I was told by the representative. Shocking as it sounds, it is complete lies.

    On calling again, I was told a different story that there was some technical error on vodafone side and they messed up the data account and did not switch me over to the plan renewal and instead decided without my knowledge or permission to deactivate my currently used data plan and charge me full data rates without any plan.

    It has now been over a month and several calls from my side with no resolution. As frustrating and appalling as Vodafone has made the situation, I would like a final resolution of the problem or a switchover to another service provider.

        gave a request for disconnection of my cell no. They took no action on it and continued to keep the connection active for a few months and now demand money for the entire period. They are really BAD ....consumers are advised to stay away.............from this company

            My mobile number is [protected]. I have recharged (topup) of Rs. 100 with Rs. 88.66 talktime on Wed Oct 20, 2009. The transaction ID is KK[protected].

            I have made 3 to 4 local calls, the balance enquiry shows negative balance Rs. -0.14. Please check and revert with justification.

            The caller tune has been activated forcefully without any notice, and there is no control to stop this. Calling customer care is useless as all of the time the number is busy or "service is not available".

              I Anuj Singh, i am near about 2 year old user of vodafone.

              Vodafone offered me an add-on connection with 222talkplan against my current postpaid

              connection then I
              paid rs 250 as activation charge for that[protected] with receipt details as under-
              INTOUCH SOLUTIONS Pvt Ltd., C-161, Hemkunt House, Gautam Nagarm Beside Community Centre,

              Yusuf Sarai,New Delhi-110 049
              serial no-19419.
              SIM given to me was no-[protected].

              This SIM was issued on the name NEELKANT SINGH (my brother)
              since the sim was not activated because plan offered by intouch representative &

              activation department was different than i denied to activate my SIM. after that i moved

              to vodafone store "NAVYUG MARKET GHAZIABAD" where i claimed to refund security money

              rs.250/- that i paidf for the SIM. they logged my request to refund the security.

              On Dated[protected] i have collected my a cheque no. 928416, issue date[protected] from

              the side of INTOUCH SOLUTIONS of Rs150 only. While Representative of INTOUCH SOLUTIONS

              committed me that whenever u will surrender your SIM you will get full payment of Rs250.

              he told me that you are our very old user thats why there is no any kind of security deposite, membership fees etc, we are taking activation charge olny RS.250/- that is fully refundable.
              When I got my cheque from vodafone store i discussed about it with store executive he told me that Rs100 has been detucted as processing charges.
              So why I pay these charges while this was not in my knowledge. Any how, I want to get my full payment. Because your guyes did'n told me earlier, so this is problem that how you will refund my remaining Balance of Rs. 100/-
              I hope, you will take a positive action on my complaint before my strong step against you

              I have exactly the same story. I have been using vodafone for last 2.5 years.I got many calls for add on connection on my number. On approximately 50th call I accepted the offer, I paid the security amount Rs 250/- and I received a SIM too. They called me for activation of the new SIM and allotted me a number. But my new SIM has not yet activated. When I called customer care, they told me that my number has already been allotted to someone else and they ask me to visit vodafone store. When I ask them Why do I have to visit vodafone store, it's not my fault? then they simply say Ma'am we can't help it. And the person- Gagan ([protected]) who took the responsibility of activation has stopped attending my calls. There are many mobile companies out there, but I continued using vodafone till now because I trusted it. Now I am forced to take stringent actions against vodafone if my problem will not be solved as soon as possible. It is not the matter of rs 250/- it is a matter of trust that I had in vodafone.

              Vodafone Postpaid Connection — not refunded rs.250/- since march 2009

              sir vodaphone has to refund me Rs. 250/- in r/o cancelation of conversion of vodaphone prepaid to post paid which was committed me by thier executives time to time . my no is [protected]
              I am agree with u Poornima bcoz it is not the matter of rs 250/- it is a matter of trust that we have in vodafone. I ask to vodafone that why your executives make fool to vodafone's valuable customers to achieve their Sale target. It is not fair

                  I utkarsh having no. [protected] since 6 months of vodafone. suddenly from today ( 21.10.2009) morning my service is disactivated withoud any reasons. when I contact customer service they told me your service is terminated.

                  In futher investigation they told me your a/c is post paid, but from begining i am recharges the topup and was applied for prepaid service. just two days before i spock in customer servise regarding 60 ps per minut call and they guide me for Rs 70/- recharge. at that time all my information which i have given in my application form was appering in your system correctly, now suddenly customer services saying that information which you are telling is not maching at all with our system records, may i know how it is possible. I have spoken lot of time with customer services with same details now they are not populating in your system how????????????????????????

                  now they are adviceing me to visit vodafone store. they can not help me out. it is very irretating due to your mistack why should i suffer, I do not that much time to visit your store(nearest) which is far away (25 kms) from my location.

                    Hello,

                    Its third day today and I am trying to get the blackberry services activated on my device. I tried doing it by personally visiting the vodafone center, by sending sms for activation and making atleast 8-10 calls in the last 3 days. However, everytime, the only thing I hear is that the service will be activated in the next two hours. But in vain. The 2 hours never seem to end. After too many calls their floor manager Naseem Khan came on line last evening assuring that the service will be activated on my handset by 12 noon today. I put in a call at 11 am to confirm whether the service will be activated and I was assured that it indeed would be, as expected it was not. I put in a call again around 3.45pm today and again the same repeatation that the service will be activated in the next 2 hours. None of the four floor managers, Naseem Khan, Riyaz, Vaishali, and Tushar were available in the seat to take the call. Niether are they able to give a confirmed response on by when can i expect the service to be activated. I am losing out on business while travelling as I am not able to access my mails. The response from the call center is pathetic and Vodafone officers are indeed not looking into it.

                    My Vodafone Number is [protected] which i am using from quite long time almost since it was Hutch...
                    THis Nocember i Borrow the Blackberry from the market and called the customer care to tell me the plan for activating the Blackberry Services .So that person stsrted telling me the diffreent Plans...after our Discussion i told him to activate unlimited usage plan of Rs 899 as i am the corporate User.He told me that we cannot activate this service from our end so you need to send an sms to activate this service from your cell which i did so as directed...
                    On 19th I got the SMS from Vodafone that my Blackberry servoces has been activated and i started using my Blackberry services.But after 3 to 4 days i got the Message that my credit limit has been exceded and your bill usage reach to 6500 Approxl.
                    Then i called the customer care telling about my problem to them, they reverted me that i have not activated the 899 and infact there is no 899 service avail for you on this number and in the system its showing that 499 plan is activated which has 500Kb of data download and upload facility.
                    Now I have complaint serveral request to them asking me to conatct and clear all the matter but its almost 15 days has been passed and i have not got any revert from them.Mentoned are the case numbers which i logged with them.[protected] and [protected].

                    Request you to please look into this as till date my maximum bill reached to Rs 800 then how can i pay Rs 6500 bill for one month.I am very much tensed .Please help me.

                    Vodafone BlackBerry Services — Non Activation

                    Dear Sir

                    I 'm a subscriber of Vodafone Prepaid vide no. [protected].

                    I requested for Activation of BlackBerry services on 25th April .
                    The plan I requested was Rs15/- per day.

                    The money is being deducted from my Balance every day but the service has not been provided to me yet.

                    Numerous calls were made to the customer care number 111 but I was made to hold the calls every time I called but no body took the complaint seriously.

                    Though I have requested for Deactivation of BlackBerry services yesterday but still the money being deducted for the services not provided to me.

                    Kindly look in to the matter and help resolve the issue so that the erring Service provider does not harass other consumer in future .

                      I am using Vodafone ([protected]) in Gujarat Kutch. I have Purchase one Prepaid SIM Card at my Village.This Prepaid has life time validity but I have cancel ate this facility and I talk to Vodafone care and dissection about cancel life time validity and recharge any scheme and one year plan than I sent one massage form my mobile to Vodafone care ( Can Life – 144 ) 23 Sep 2009. But Vodafone sent only massage (Your Request Received Your services de-active within 24 HRS. but till date not De-active. Than I recharge 151 plant ( 365 day validity and 50 balance form Mundra ) than I check my balance but balance sawing 146 but validity sawing 0 days than I talk to Vodafone care MR. Kamran hi is call that your life time re active and your this plant not consider because all ready life time plant active but sir I have already de-active life time plant. And you have got 146 Rs. This is very important matter. Costumer care guides us and follows all system but I struggle this type of mistake. Dear sir please looks this matter and guides me urgently. And Vodafone costumer care behavior very poor and I record this please reply me.
                      I request the authorities to take my complaint earnestly and take steps to curtail this menace. Thank You.

                        Hello Sir,

                        I recharged my cell (number [protected]) through online for 333/- rupee and vodafone provided me a talk time of 174/- . Which is about 50%. When I called vodafone I got response that there is no recharge of 333 so we are give that much talk time. My complaint is if they no recharge for 333/- then company should recharge for at least nearest rechargeable amount. i.e at least 300 rs. But here they are recharging for just 200 which is not fare and I strongly feel its cheating to a consumer. vodafone keeps changing there prepaid plans and rates. And these things they will never update in site. Then for what purpose does there site serve? Since last time when I recharged for Rs 333/- they provided full talk time this time they are telling plan is removed. This should be some where updated in site but they are not doing. This is not just question of money but now a days these telecommunications companies are cheating common man stating there own policies and rules which is cheating to common ppl like us. Please register this complaint and help me.

                          Hi,
                          I have vodafone connection which has very very POOR customer service.

                          Everyday I get atleast 5 to 6 DISTURBING (RECORDED CALLS) and more messages from Vodafone.

                          I hate this and i lost more money while roaming too.

                          I filed a complaint for Do not disturb in vodafone site and still the problem continues....

                          I sent SMS ACT DND to 111 and it replies "Sorry temporarily this service unavailable..."
                          then, why these are offering service?

                          i dont know how to stop these from disturbing me....

                            i took the bonus card of RS. 33 which reduced my STD rates all over india to 75 paise per minute. For this RS. 33 are deducted from my balance every month. now, i want to change my bonus plan to RS. 119 which will allow me to do all STD calls at 50 paise. So, please what should i do to change my plan. i called the vodafone care 4-5 times but haven't got much help there. so please do reply

                                On 1 October 09, my wife and I arrived at Istanbul International Airport. At the Vodafon shop in the Terminal, we both bought prepaid SIM cards whose phone numbers are [protected] and [protected] and paid 94 Turkish Liras. We were told that these cards would be valid for three months and usable in all parts of Turkey. We reckoned that the number of credit units in the cards would be more than sufficient to meet our needs during our 30-day stay in Turkey.
                                The cards worked well during our stay in Istanbul 1 - 6 October and Cappadocia 6 - 11 October. However when we arrived in Antalya on 12 October both mobile phones kept on showing "SIM Card Registration Failure" whenever we turned them on. A Vodafon shop in Antalya checked and told us that both cards were ok but our mobile phones were faulty. The information given to us seemed ridiculous but we had no choice but to accept the diagnosis. We then proceded to another mobile phone shop to have our phones checked and this shop concluded that both phones were working perfectly well and that something must be wrong with the Vodafon cards. Finally, after a lot of frustration and time lost, one shop said that either the phones or the cards would not work in Antalya because of incompatibility and they should be checked again when we arrive at our next destination, Fethiye on 17 October. This we did as soon as we arrived. Here we were told that both SIM cards were good but our phones needed to be registered for use in Turkey which had not been done. So we requested them to do what was necessary but was immediately told that the entire Internet registration system had been out of order in the entire Turkey for the last 3 days and it might take several more days before the system could be restored.
                                Sir, please advise what we should do to activate our mobile phones soonest possible. We are an aged couple, one 80+ years and the other 77+ years, with different interests when traveling in foreign countries and often need to contact each other and others. We find sorting or solving this problem of ours very tiring and causing us to lose too much of our precious holiday time. Your early response would be greatly appreciated.

                                  Dear Sir/Madame
                                  I’m a new-customer in your worldwide Vodafone Company-Salt Lake City-Kolkata-India.
                                  1- On Thursday, October 8, I activated a one-Week unlimited browsing & downloading Vodafone live Internet service via my SIM card number ([protected]) by paying in advance 152 Rupees (Rs).
                                  2- On Thursday, October 15, @ 8:55 pm, I made a call to the Call Center (CC) informing about the Internet service deactivation time “Should I have to stop using that service now, or I’ve to go back to the same center I made the service in, or it will be automatically disconnected”. So, the CC- agent told me I don’t have to worry about, the service will be automatically disconnected.
                                  3- According to the CC-agent feedback I continued using my service validation till it was automatically disconnected.
                                  4- On Friday, October 16, 2009, @ 7:46 am, I got an SMS telling me that “my Vodafone Live pack is temporarily blocked due to insufficient balance. Pls, visit Ur nearest retailer and recharge to enjoy the service.”
                                  5- Then, I checked out my balance and I was astonished: My balance was about 14 Rs but it became (-513.29 Rs).
                                  6- Therefore, I went to the Vodafone Store informing about the matter. They told me I’ve to pay the full amount so as to be able to make outgoing call from my SIM card or I can buy 500 Rs scratch. So, I spent about 3hrs talking to them for clarifying to me what happened. Finally, they asked me to make a Letter of Complaint and I did.
                                  7- On Friday, October 16, 2009, @ 5:08 pm, I received a call from a male Vodafone-agent (+[protected]) based on my complaint telling me that it was their mistake and they will refund me 382.5 Rs but I have to pay 144.8 Rs to get out the negative level or I have to wait until October 20, 2009, @ 4:33pm in order to get a feedback based on my complaint. I asked him “why I’ve to pay for a 100% Vodafone-made mistake?” He said: “We sent you an alerting SMS of the deactivation time, but you didn’t stop”. I told him that the only alerting SMS I received was on Friday, October 16, 2009, @ 7:46 am about 6hrs after the Internet service has been automatically disconnected. He answered “let me discuss this with my Senior and I’ll call you back”. Unfortunately, he didn’t call me back according to the time he promised.
                                  8- On Friday, October 16, 2009, @ 6:32 pm, I called them back again, but this time I met a female Vodafone-agent telling me that I’ve to pay the 144.8 Rs because they sent me an alerting SMS and they don’t care about the time I received it.
                                  9- On Friday, October 16, 2009, @ 7:08 pm, I called them back asking for clarification “why before I had to pay 513.29 Rs and now I’ve to pay 144.8 Rs for a mistake totally made by them?. And for what reason I get to wait 4 days with no ability to make outgoing call…!”. In addition, they promise to call me back, but no one cares that forces me to call them back myself. Finally, they promise to phone me back within 24hrs but I think they won’t.
                                  10- On Friday, October 16, 2009, @ 7:52 pm I received an SMS from Vodafone telling “Rs. 382.5 has been credited in your A/C”.

                                  I’m really fed up with this bad service because I know your Vodafone Company services is one of the worldwide best services but what I’m facing here is really terrible. Furthermore, I have 194.95 Rs PINless Dial credit, but they said I can’t use it too till my balance level get to the positive level and I lost about 40 Rs bonus in my card. Waiting 4 days in this condition will be so hard for me. So, I’m really planning to stop using your Vodafone SIM card and going back to Airtel the telecom company I was using before.
                                  I would be grateful if you intervene to get me out of this nightmare as soon as possible.

                                    Myself Amol Galande ( [protected] ) ,want to launched the complaint regarding the Vadafone Mobile Service and Customer Service care Exective.
                                    I have recharged the 35rs through e recharge SMS pack on 15th Oct 2009 in which i have received 350 sms free according to the offer,sameday i have sent many (30sms) sms from my mobile which deducted correctly fro, the account which is the day of festival ie Dhanteras.On second day ie 16th oct 2009 i have sent sms around 11:00pm to 11.30pm its chargable and the amount was deducted from my main balance and the account was NIL. When we recharge the sms pack we received the information that amount is chargable only on festival day but on 15th oct i have sent sms ie Dhanters is not chagable for me but on 16th oct there is no festival day but its chargable. After that we called up to the Customer care on 11:28pm ie my first call in Vadafone customer care on sameday regarding to launched complaint, but there is no proper service we received that Customer care executive was very rude on call, he was not ready to listen the complaint,the call goes around 13mins and not ready to take complaint regarding the service nor ready to transfer the line to the senior ,he just want to hurry on his call, i m not statisfy on that call ,so i disconnect the line and again cal to customer care executive at 11.42pm sameday to launched the complaint then we spoken to another customer care executive that person is very polite and he transfer the cal to senior on request.When we spoken to the seniore person by name Jose he was also not ready to launched complaint regarding the deduction of the balance from the main account and he was very abusive on his language.
                                    Kindly look forward on the registered complaint and please provide a feedback on it as soon as posible.
                                    Many people was suffering from this problem.

                                      I tried to deactivate the Rs. 19/- offer.

                                      So for that i send an sms by typing 'DCT 19' to 997 number. I tried this many times.
                                      Everytime i am getting the response message saying that 'Hello, Your request could not be processed either due to non-eligibility or earlier request is in process or processed'.

                                      To solve my problem, i called to customer care number 111 and requested the customer care members to do the favor. Also they have taken a complaint for this. Even then the offer was not deactivated.

                                      After that from my mobile number, i can't able to redirect customer care also. I think they blocked my number from talking with customer care numbers.

                                      Is there any way to solve this?

                                      i have got one message on my cell phone([protected]) i want to discuss about that.i have talk with rishav verma he is working in vodafone service centre.i have talk him at 5:00 P.M....i have ask question for my enquiry then he has said me open ur email id.then i have said u tell me on my phone at this time only because i'm busy at this moment and i can't open my id now but i want enqury now..then he has started misbehaving on the cell an talking very rudely i have argunented with that person till 15 or 20 minutes..when i've ask why r u talking like this he has said that mai sab se hi aise hi baat karta hoon chahe wo prime minister ho ya chief minister ho.agr mere pass sheela dikshit ka bhi phone aaye toh mai isi tarah baat karta hoon..after that usne mujhe mere mobile par apne address message kara____ his name is RISHAV VERMA C45;okhla Industrial Area-II...........please take action against him as soon as possible.

                                      I am Jitendra Kumar Sharma from Guwahati Assam; recently I have applied for VODAFONE SIM against all my details. 2 Day back a call come from Vodafone SIM distributing organization Cell No. is [protected]. Person asked me my address being very nearer to my place. I gave him the detail. I waited for him at the closing time of the office 6.00 PM he did not came. After that I called him he told me that today he got busy some where next day he will come. Next day again he didn’t come again I range him after one more day. He replied that he had send a person to me he gave SIM to me. I told no body has given and I show anger to him he instead of feeling sorry he show anger to me and he confirm that he will now give SIM to me if I can do any thing than I can proceed. till today Have not received the SIM.

                                        I am a storekeaper from lucknow.my shop name Ideal Point Mobile World & My Vodafone No. is [protected], My No. in use by Demo version & 25-8-09 on evening time on this sim card going insert position. and i am contact vodafone distributor and say my problems but this distributor has been not intrested my problem please my sim card has not in use for this time area distributor name- Aatmaram & Sons Aliganj, Lucknow, Please return my Sim Card & Saling Sim Cards.my shop is closed for sum times.
