This is to inform everyone that vodafone has started unethical practices along with their collection team by blocking the services of numbers whose bill is paid in advance by linking the numbers with fake bills which doesn't belong to us and keep on avoiding our calls and started blackmailing us. I recommend everyone not to use or buy vodafone services as these people are fraudfone.

    I was away for most of the october and i hardily switched on the sim. Today, i recharged the phone and then came to realize that my current balance dropped drastically from rs. 401 to rs. 29. I called customer care and they said that i activated some music and bla bla and got repeated deduction. I did not activate any service last month and an amount of more than rs. 350 got deducted. This is highly unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Kindly revert back the balance.

    Customer care service called me and reverted the amount back yesterday. Appreciate their quick resolution. Hope these kind of issue will not happen in the future and also I will not give a chance for that to happen.

    Still facing same issues. Attachment containing the balance of two different dates. I have not activated any service. Deductions are neither shown in Vodafone nor in TRAI app. Called customer care services many times but no action is being taken till now. Urge immediate action.

      Please note that i have not been receiving incoming calls and sms on my vodafone no [protected]

      However i am able to make outgoing calls and also i can use internet.

      This problem of incoming calls is ruining all my business and customer relationship.

      Replies by vodafone are pathetic and they simply say we can't do anything.

      I recharged my mobile through online Rs199.00 on 21.10 19.
      Msg. came Talktime recharge of Rs199.00 is successful.Talk time received Rs 0.09, GST charged Rs 30.36, Access fee Rs168.55.New balance is Rs - 91.92

      Why they have deducted this access fee Rs 168.55? They should revert it .

          Am writing from Jaipur Rajasthan in regards to my sim that is on roaming my number was deactivated with out my consent or prior notification [protected] two months back I tried talking with your offices out here, they told me to personally visited you in Mumbai circuit and it's not possible any other way so I want to affirm and I want to request you to reactivate this number as the number is linked to my mails and other accounts. Can you please, help me in this scenario as to how can you reissue me the same number it belongs to my Mother Smt Manda Chouhan Singh.

              An unscrupulous charge of inr 50 was deducted from my balance recently. When enquired with customer care, they told me it was a value added service, which i had given no consent to activate. I checked multiple channels (Vodafone app & 155223) and i do not see the deduction or details of the vas anywhere.

              I did not receive any sms regarding the vas, its activation request, deduction or related.

              The customer care representative would not give me any more details on the vas when asked. They had no other information apart from the name of the vas.

              When asked on how to deactivate it, they shifted the blame and i was told to visit a local phone shop.

              I want a refund for this charge done without my express permission.

              Upon sending 'STOP' to 155223, I received an SMS saying there were no active subscription on my number, which seems contradictory.

              Is the service that I didn't consent to, active or not? If active, where do I check the details of it?

              Use #ViAutoVASActivation and tweet @vicustomercare. They debited 99rs for digivive activation for nexGenTv. They debited 45rs for 6T seconds VAS pack. They tells no issue. Better port out from Vodafone & Idea or VodafoneIdea
              digivive activated, it says nextGenTv downloaded but i never did. On asking Digivive related vodafone says nothing. Digivive and vi are partners, you can see in below artice. 99rs debited on oct-09-2020.

                Vodafone has deducted rs.99 from my main balance. When i called up at customer care, they said that balance was deducted for opening some link. This is not true, they deducted the balance just like that. I did not open any link. So they refused to refund the balance. This is not the first time i am facing this problem. They deducted the balance two three times before this too.

                  I have been raising many complaints for network issue. Only 3g is working for me since a week. Whole my family is using vodafone. Have raised multiple complaints but no use... One of the worst service.. Have raised port request if the concern is not solved today i will change all my 5 sims to other best network.. I will also escalate the issue to next higher authorities of vodaphone
                  I am staying in pune swargate aria lots of people are complent but not reply and customer care service say 3months to resolve. Otherwise refund my recharge bills

                    The network shows 4G and I'm able to make outgoing calls and the use the internet. I'm not receiving any incoming calls though. I've been facing this issue since morning, called the customer care twice and still no resolution.

                    My sim card belongs to Bangalore circle but I'm currently residing in Kerala. Kindly provide me a resolution for this ASAP as alot of my work is based through this medium

                          Hi my deceased father owned a vodafone prepaid sim. My mother used it after his death and unfortunately she lost the mobile and the sim last week.
                          I visited the vodafone store in madhapur, hyderabad.
                          But the staff did not provide me a duplicate sim.

                          I was told that they cannot provide me a duplicate sim because the owner is dead and the number is ported from reliance. So they cannot do the transfer or issue a duplicate sim.

                          Now why they cant change the number if right now it is serviced by vodafone

                          I cannot loose that number because its subscribed to multiple government agencies in which i cannot modify the number.

                            I am a victim o[censored]nethical sales scam by m/s vodafone idea pvt. Ltd.

                            In july 2019, i had signed up for a family plan of 5 connections for a sum of inr 999 per month exclusive of gst. I had been getting regular telemarketing calls from vodafone sales persons for me to sign up for the aforementioned plan. They have also given me the rates and benefits in writing over email.
                            Unfortunately, i was fraudulently sold a different plan of higher value.

                            I had opted for 5 connections for a single plan of 999 per month, whereas vodafone assigned all 5 numbers separately and billed each number 399 inr each; which amounts to be inr 1995 per month excluding gst. This is grossly unethical and unprofessional with respect to a brand of such repute.

                            Immediately, i tried to get in touch with the sales executive whose number became switched off and it’s the same till date. I wrote to vodafone customer care and social media team to which their corporate sales employee mr. Himanshu kumar (Himanshu. [protected]@vodafoneidea.com) took responsibility of the fraud sale and assured me that all the 5 numbers would be migrated to family plan of 999 “shortly”.

                            Months passed and the assured migration never happened and i got bills of around inr 2500 across all the 5 numbers instead of my signed up plan of inr 999.
                            Mr. Himanshu promised bill amount waivers which rarely happened and i had to pay up the bills in order to avoid disconnection / suspension and late fee. He always underreported the waiver amount for processing i. E. Instead of inr 300 waiver, he waived off only inr 125 and that too not across all the 5 numbers.

                            As a culmination, i had to face severe crisis related to temporary suspension and late fee against all the 5 numbers along with mental agony of calling mr. Himanshu several times to which he didn’t respond. After all communication attempts to mr. Himanshu and vodafone customer care failed to materialize, i decided to move out of vodafone network.

                            In september 2019, i applied to port out 3 out of the 5 numbers to airtel network. Since then, i started getting harassment and abusive calls asking me why i was leaving vodafone network. When i explained the issue to them, it went to deaf ears and the port out requests got delayed and rejected in some cases for reasons best known to vodafone team.

                            Ultimately, i ported 3 numbers (7xxxxx8883, 9xxxxx1184 and 9xxxxx7429) to airtel network in october 2019 after paying around inr 1200 across the 3 numbers.
                            Immediately after moving out, i was sent a bill worth 471, 271 and 184 respectively to which i again contacted vodafone. They asked me to pay up the bill and threatened that they will force airtel to disconnect my numbers in case i don’t pay up. This is insane.

                            As usual, mr. Himanshu did not receive my calls regarding bill waivers and continued sending me emails like “working on it” “it will be done soon”. The other two numbers’ port out request has been rejected by vodafone for a bill due amount of inr 750 which also remains unaddressed till date.

                            To conclude, i am facing the crisis of pending bill amount across the following numbers which i had never applied for or never requested for :

                            • 7xxxxx8883 : inr 271 (Ported to airtel)
                            • 9xxxxx1184 : inr 471 (Ported to airtel)
                            • 9xxxxx7429 : inr 184 (Ported to airtel)
                            • 9xxxxx7178 : inr 165 (Migrated to prepaid)
                            • 9xxxxx4375 : inr 443 (Suspended)

                            All the numbers are on the verge of disconnection and vodafone is constantly demanding the amounts by calling during odd hours.

                            My repeated attempts of getting resolutions from vodafone customer care, appellate authority as well as corporate care team has failed to bear fruits.

                            I am just asking vodafone to clear the bills ; let alone compensate the mental agony and harassment i had to face in the past 4 months of ‘service’ by vodafone.

Out of them one is regarding complain no [protected] dated 11 oct 2019. No one resolve our problem. Problem was very poor data in that area. Since so many days we make compliant but only telephonic response come on ground level no one come to resolve

                                I am feeling very inconvenience. I saw my balance and there has been a deduction of rs 22 without any reason. And when i check my balance by dialing *111# they showed balance deduction by nazara app but i didn't select that service and moreover there has been a lot of flash messages.. Past 1-2 months also i talked to customer care.. At that time also balance was deducted due to that reason only. I felt very sad and thinking about to port as i am feeling unsatisfied. Kindly resolve my issue

                                  I am wrongly charged with international roaming charges in my September bill. When I called the customer care they told me I used my phone for internet and I provided the screen shot of my phones with October and September month with 0 bytes usage and asked them if I have used it then provide me the details like where I used my phone instead of caring about this they again and again copy pasted the same reply with duplicate bills.

                                  Customer is clearly denying of internet usage and provides screen shot and If they can not provide the details except the bill which is wrong, wants reversal of extra charges.

                                  Before i end i would i like to state i will not pay this bill with these charges as i have not used any and you can disconnect the number as i don't want this to continue this pathetic service where you are harassing the customer like this.

                                  I wrote my 1st complaint on October 9 2019 and now after 3 weeks people are not solving this issue.

                                  I am not able to port my number .. when I requesting to port it shows as inactive number. I am actively using my number and yet not able to port. When I send my sms on 1900, it says following message “Sorry! Requested mobile number is not in active state”

                                    I am using vodafone postpaid one year rental plan which provides 200 free calls per month. This month i charged 199/- + usage charges+gst = 245/-.
                                    When i contacted vodafone they said “my plan got expired and it has been withdrawn from the market so we charged suitable plan which is of monthly rental 199/-“. So i asked them that you should have informed me of my plan expiry at earliest and should not charge any other plan without my consent. Today also i received a call from them and they said we will not repeat this in future. But they wanted me to pay the bill which i was not opted. They should have stopped services on my number instead of charging any other plan without my consent.

                                    Customer care contacted me and said as the annual advanced rental plan is non regular plan they have no such system to communicate the customer regarding expiry of the plan and after expiry of the plan by default plan will be changed to rs. 199/-. Then I asked them you should have informed me while opting the plan itself so that I can remember the expiry date, for that they have no answer and simply said sorry but don’t want to waive the bill they charged on me. I have seen many people harassed like this by Vodafone for charging falsely amounts in the name of VAS, plan expiry, data roaming without customer consent. It’s shame on Vodafone to do these things. Now I don’t have any other option to move out of Vodafone network.

                                      Vodafone is repeated generating bills for deactivated number of senior citizen which has been in dispute due to store managers negligence. The number in dispute has been from april 2019 and complete deactivated by vodafone form june 18th 2019. The appellate is not giving any solution and is pending from august 2019. They only call and harass with no outcome.
                                      This case was raised earlier with yourself but they closed it by falsifying the facts. All documented proof's submitted and available against the vodafone employee. But appellate is in denial.
                                      The last they reverted was bills pending amount from 2018. When asked to provide fact sheet. They have forwarded bill pending from june 2019. Generated after deactivation of mobile number. The original request was to migrate post paid to pre-paid billing. Which they state was disqualified basis of bill pending form 2018. No proof or supporting document provided till date.
                                      Response letter's i receive are template copy pasted.

                                        Vodafone's 100% cash back recharges are a scam. Last sunday i. E 27.10.19 did a recharge of ₹509 believing their 100% cash back promises. 2days later i. E. Today 29.10.2019 i contacted the customer care to enquire about the same, the reply i received from the executive was that the cash back vouchers will be only applicable on the recharges for the same amounts only i. E ₹509 also you will only receiving the cashback coupons as fragments of the amount i. E as vouchers of ₹50 or so and the most irritating part that led me to post this here is that they had not mentioned any of the t&c in the recharge page where all the showed is the 100% cashback i'm attaching the screenshots here. And i still have not received the cash back
