Hi,

I bought new tata volatas air cooler from retailer a month back[protected]. After reaching home, when i plugged in, the fan was not rotating. So i was contacted retailer who suggested me to contact voltas customer care. Here my problem started growing day by day.

Voltas has registered my complaint (Request no# [protected]) on[protected] and scheduled an appointment for technician on[protected] but technician doesn't even call me on that day. Two days later one guy came to my house and checked it and said that one part is faulty. He also said that he will place order for that part. But no one communicated later till today.[protected]

Daily i used to follow-up with customer care and getting same one answer.. Sorry for inconvenience. Your request is pending. We will escalate your request for faster process.

When i called customer care today, they again have created one more request( no : [protected]). Which means i reported the problem today and again my headache started.

I have contacted voltas in all possible ways (Phone, email) but no use.

I paid big amount to voltas tom purchase this aircooler which is 400% higher than the general air coolers believing that voltas is a big company and will provide proper service in case any problem occurs(Simply i paid for the service in advance which doesn't happen).

I bought 28 ltr voltas air cooler on 21 apr 2016 and it stopped working on 23 apr 2016. Raised a complaint.. dint know wha is gonna be he outcome... due to the brand value.. I had to go for this and its a pity that it stopped working on the 3rd day..
But the day I bought this .. it worked better than any others that I saw..
i think the products are not being properly qc checked which is why they are.failing in just 2 days..
Very bad experience ever, bought it for nearly 10700 but since the day I bought, its giving trouble, technicians come but donot even touch the cooler and go . On 2nd april I lodged one compliant, dont know what the hell the previous technician did, now not even a month has been over, 23rth april, alarm keeps ringing even when cooler tank is full with water. I need some technicians who can behave welll and can help customers, not a technician who comes to house as a guest and goes, hope voltas solves this as fast as possible as this is summer and you must know why people are buying your product spending lots of money, I wud have been happy had I purchased local cooler instead.. Definitely local coolers work best than voltas coolear, even my office colleagues are suggesting me never to go for voltas rather go for products like kenstar which works atleast for few years unlike voltas which doesnt work even for few hours.. ... Voltas has done big show wiht outer beauty of cooler, but there is no real stuff...

Dear Team, its been almost 7 days and none got back to me with the replacement for the failed part.
I wrote to [protected]@voltas.com for im not sure if voltas.[protected]@gmail.com is an authentic voltas email id, the reason being that it should actually end with @voltas.com instead of @gmail.com

I bought TATA voltas 70 ltr air cooler. Its pathetic experience. The fan is died in not even one month. It sounds make so noisy that we cant sleep properly. In showroom, we cannot find its faults. I called up the customer care and they are telling it will take time from last two weeks. Total waste of money.

I want to know how to return this product.

    I would like share bitter experience with voltas customer service Ernakulam.I had issues within a year .i had 4 ac and the remote don't last a year and no warranty for remote .each remote cost 1500. Service is a nightmare for being a loyal customer purchasing the same product. You will be attended by contract service providers with inexperienced technician picked from street but well experienced not diagnosing .please don't buy this product.Recently their technician diagnosed my ac with a fault in compressor and quoted me bill for 9500.so I decided to try my luck with a freelance technician n got my work done forRs 400 just for replacing the capacitor ..please don't by this product .. In my opinion voltas is digging their own graveyard I Ll never purchase again

      I bought a voltas inverter ac from great eastern before 1 month ago after one week they install AC with wrong way and my AC is leaking badly i complain to voltas but they cancel my request and now my AC stop working again i complain to voltas they forward my details to there service men service men call me and asking information about my AC and promise me to fix my AC on very same day but he never call me again so i call that service men to solve my problem but when i calling that men he is not taken my call after so long when i call with another no then he receive my call and arrange a men to fix my problem and that men also promise me that sir i m coming this evening today after 7 pm i called that men he told me sir i m vey busy coming tomorrow before 12 pm and fix the ac but same thing again he not calling me and i called him and he is telling me that sir today i m in holiday i m on leave call my manager i can't help you. so i call manager and he is not receiving my call after so long he receive my call and telling me that sir your ac having gas problem u call that person who install your ac they will fix your problem if i will come to you voltas will not pay us. and the 2nd thing is that we are not cover your area and i know he is telling lie ...he is telling we only serve south kolkata and he thought my pin code 700024 is in north kolkata when i told him this is south kolkata and you have to do it any how then he said sir give me half hour let me talk to my boss. now i m asking to voltas who going to fix my ac problem
      it is a brand new ac .i request to every one do not buy any voltas ac duniya ka sab se bekar ac...

        Hello, I had book a complain regarding my Voltas 1.5 TON Window AC. It was not cooling NUM: [protected]. The complain was assigned to Aman Enterprise in Thane west. I had booked this complain long time back. its more than 15 days and still the service team from Aman enterprise thane has not been able to resolve issue. They sent a very incompetent and irresponsible guy. They also lost the log paper, so I have not information what they have been doing. they informed me last week, they will replace the PCB in 3 days. Now they are telling me, they need to take PCB from my AC and it will still take another 3-4 days. another issue is, they never provide any update on the status or progress of the complain, they simply disappear. Customer have to find the contact detail from internet and make several calls to get some information from them. Voltas is not at all taking care of their existing customers, Its after sales services are worst. I have had similar issue with my AC in past as well, and every time voltas handled the issue with same irresponsibility,

        Hello,

        I received few calls from Voltas customer care and also the service center, I gave them time to visit me on saturday.

        The whole day I have been waiting and calling various voltas department e.g. Thane Branch services of voltas and aman enterprise, no one responds/

        It simply shows that voltas does not care about inconvenience of their customers.

        Entire Family including children have been suffering since 3 weeks, How can they pay off such suffering.

        These Big companies are behaving like we the people can noact do anything, we have no voice.

          I had bought a voltas split ac in 10th mar’16, they promised to install it in 10th mar’16 itself, but the installation guy came yesterday only. This is ac was found to be damaged by manufacturer or installation guy it was identified by me while installing. I asked the shopper (Saravan & co) they said no stock now.
          So my suggestion is don’t buy any product in saravan & co kanchipuram and any vlotas a/c

            Voltas Company is making fool to their innocent consumers in the name of two free services of air conditioner in one year. I had brought a voltas split ac via snapdeal in Nov. 2014.Due to winter season at that time therefore it was requested in April 2015 to voltas customer care to install it and their personal install it in April 2015. I did not avail the first free service that was due after summer season in a view to avail the second free service before next summer. On 13 April 2016 I made a request to voltas call centre for servicing of my ac. They sent their service personal on the same day. But I felt surprise when service person of voltas said to me that it is now out of warrantee. I find mysel[censored]nable to understand how can I avail the two free service offered by company. After purchase in November 2014 there were two options for me to install it either in winter or before summer season 2015.I had choose the second one as there was no purpose to install it in winter. Now I wanted to avail the second free service before summer season 2016 as Ac was installed in April 2015.But all persons ie customer care person, service person etc are giving excuse of out of warrantee. It gives me a feel of cheating by company.

              Dear Sir/Madam,
              I had lodged a service request for checking my ac with reference no-[protected]. After 1 day one person from voltas came to visit my place and told that there is a leak in the condenser.So I told him to do whatever was nessasary and two days later he sent some guys with new condensor coil and fitted it.They charged it and even after 3 hours continuous run the machine could not get past 27°c.When I tried to tell them they said everything was fine.The machine kept working for 6 hours but still no improvement.I am really depressed with the fact that even after spending 7000 rs I am not geeting any effect.This can no ways be a policy of TATA Group.

I have purchased one voltas 1.2 ton ac from snapdeal.Then i called to customer care for installation & they told that with 24hr technicial will do the installation. But its around 48 hr crossed but no one called me or contact me for installation.But when i called again to customer care, they again told me that technician will go & do the installation.                   I bought a voltas wac 183 eye on 23 rd feb 2016. After 1 month of purchase it started displaying e2. I thought it was normal so i ignored but after 2-3 weeks my ac started malfunctioning. Once i set to a particular temperature say 23 degree it starts cooling and reaches 22 degrees and then the compressor stops. After that the compressor didnt start. And the temperature of the room come to normal and doesnt decreases further. I lodged a complaint and their technician attended bt couldnt resolve it. Now i am suffering.

                    Hi,

                    I purchased two Voltas air-conditions in Kolkata last year. Facing a serious perennial issue with the installation of 1 of it. The other one ids doing okay. Due to wrong installation (piping) water is falling, not able to operate. Unfortunately both my parents are staying in that room itself and both of them are bed ridden. Doctor has advised to keep them in AC and in this heat of 40+ degree in Kolkata I am not able to do same because of you. Last year also I called for the same, your technicians worked but again it faltered this year when I tried.

                    I have been chasing your complaint department and service people for a long time now. This is not acceptable. Now today one person came after so many follow ups and asking for so many things.

                    Pl step in and get it resolved, else I will be forced to buy one more AC of a different brand and move to Consumer Forum with all my documentation.

                    I don't know who will bear the consequences if anything happens to my parents for this.

                    I want an immediate action.

                      This is an complaint which should be taken in action within 24 hr or else we have to take some another step against Voltas . I am using Voltas A.C . since last 4 years. Within this 4 years I have reinstalled the machine in Kolkata twice but I have never had any bad experience which I faced in Chennai while reinstalling the machine in the same address where I installed my Voltas A.C . last year on. 2015. This time I placed the request on[protected] the technician came on[protected] that doesn't know Hindi neither English and the technician name was V.Plalian from Chennai cooling care they were not having any kind of identity cards which can proof they were representative from Voltas . The main problem was the existing copper wire which I have is little bit bend and they told me to buy 2 metre wire, I said connect the same wire which I was using for the last 4 years in same way but I never had a cooling problem. Mr. Rajan I don't know who was that manager he forced me to buy the copper wire I denied. Now from Voltas I am getting the SMS that I was unable to pay for the copper wire. I need immediate action on it .You can't play with customer's respect and I mean it I will take this matter if not the action taken by Voltaa against this Chennai Cooling Care or what.

                        Its the worst brand you can ever purchase.

                        I got my a.c serviced from Voltas 15 days back (the service guy was very unprofessional and incompetent) and within few days the a.c stopped working for which I lodged a complain to Voltas.

                        I've been contacting them from past 6 days to repair my a.c which is in warranty but their is no response from their end.

                        They promise a particular day and would never turn up. If you call them back they'll tell you that they'll be coming tomorrow.

                        The weirdest thing is that they would cancel your request by themselves without giving any reason and you just have to call them again and again. I really wish I would have made the purchase from some other brand but Voltas.

                          To whomsoever it may concern,

                          I am explaining here the worst ever experience i ever had with any after sale service provider voltas (Specifically ac)

                          Chapter 1

                          1) i relocated hence requested voltas guys to come and reinstall request no is [protected]
                          2) before installation the guys checked and confirmed that ac is working, everything is fine and the cooling gas is there
                          3) during installation, the guys did such a pathetic drilling (Almost broke the wall to do a hole, which was actually not required since builder already made an hole) - photo attached
                          4) while installation, the guys said that they cant use old pipes and it should be minimum 2 mt so they rejected the old pipes and used new one
                          5) after installation, the guys checked the leakage of gas with soap foam and found that there is no gas leakage.
                          6) the installation was really improper, specifically the indoor unit. Which was away from wall and slightly bent (Pic attached)
                          7) after the installation when the guys started the unit, the indoor motor dint start but the swing was working. The compressor was also working and they confirmed that whatever cooling is coming is because of compressor and gas is there.

He also said that after proper installation, the indoor will start working.
                          3) when i pushed adil that i dont know individuals, i know only voltas and requested him to resolve the issue immediately. He sent another technician.
                          4) this technician had another story that there is no gas in the ac and indoor fan motor needs to be inspected.
                          5) when i said that earlier guys have confirmed that there was gas and they even checked the leakages. He also said to get in touch with earlier guys as if they all are different. He tried to adjust the indoor to reduce the bends.
                          6) when i asked adil to send me formal email that he can not rectify it, he denied to send me one.

                          Its been 3 weeks now and i am at 0 position even after paying my hard 3000 inr.

                          Looking at such poor after sale services, i think why did i bought a new voltas split ac in february just before this all incident.

                          Please get it rectify immediately if you guys really care for the consumers. Else i would personally like to take it further.

                          I was happy hoping that you guys actually took complaint of your customer seriously and have started working on that.

                          One of your guys Mr. Salim ([protected]) from some Limra Airconditioners started coordinating with me. As expected he also started with this and that (means this doesnt come in my service are but some other). I said "Boss I dont want to hear this and that. I know one name VOLTAS and if you may do it then do it else close the business. You dont deserve this fame." He promised that he will get it done in a day or two. I tried his number but he dint pick. When I tried yesterday, he said some guys will call me and come and fix it. When I called today, he hung me up on the call and asked to wait. After 10 min, I asked him to call me back but I dint get any call back from him.

                          To my surprise, I received call from Mr. Adil (same guy as referred in my first post) at 8:11 PM 20.04.16 and he specifically told me that it is going to be chargeable.

                          Do you guys seriously consider customer as nuts. Why should a customer pay additional for the wrong deeds of the monkeys hired by Voltas.

                          I think there is some serious loupe hole in your overall aftersale services or with VOLTAS itself. Please look into it or stop selling ACs you guys are not worth of such fame and are diminishing the name of TATAs.

                          I am explaining here the worst ever experience I ever had with any after sale service provider VOLTAS (specifically AC)
                          CHAPTER 1
                          1) I relocated hence requested Voltas guys to come and reinstall request no is [protected]
                          2) Before installation the guys checked and confirmed that AC is working, everything is fine and the cooling gas is there
                          3) During installation, the guys did such a pathetic drilling (almost broke the wall to do a hole, which was actually not required since builder already made an hole) - Photo attached
                          4) While installation, the guys said that they cant use old pipes and it should be minimum 2 mt so they rejected the old pipes and used new one
                          5) After installation, the guys checked the leakage of gas with soap foam and found that there is no gas leakage.
                          6) The installation was really improper, specifically the indoor unit. Which was away from wall and slightly bent (pic attached)
                          7) After the installation when the guys started the unit, the indoor motor dint start but the swing was working. The compressor was also working and they confirmed that whatever cooling is coming is because of compressor and gas is there.
                          8) The guys said that I need to call the customer care again and they will send the technician who will rectify the problem immediately without any additional cost.

                            Respected sir/ maám,
                            I am facing issues with 2 acs purchased.
                            - i had purchased 2 voltas acs through snapdeal which was received on 30th march.
                            - i called voltas customer care for installation (Ref no. [protected]) which was done on 6th april (Rehman - [protected]). The very same day we noticed the ac was not cooling so we called the installation person again.
                            - i have spent 86, 000 (37, 500 for each ac, 3000 for installation of each ac, 5000 for stabilizer)
                            - he checked and said defective indoor pieces were sold to us.
                            - we called snapdeal but they said they cannot exchange the product as they have a 7-days return or exchange policy and since the product is covered by warrenty that i should contact voltas for further action.
                            - i called voltas and they sent the 2nd set of servicing men (Ishaan - [protected]) on 8th april, who checked and told us the installation is not done correctly and has caused gas leaks in both the acs. He gave us an invoice and asked for the 1st invoice, which the 1st servicing guy did not give us.
                            - then they were supposed to resolve the issue within 24hrs, which has not been met.
                            - to add, they have stopped taking my calls now. When i speak to customer care they cut my call before listening to the complete issue. The 2nd servicing person tells me now the issue is not there's and has moved to another servicing branch.
                            - voltas customer care isn't responding or helping even after lling them so many times and now they are saying they cannot do anything as snapdeal is responsible and i should call snapdeal not them.
                            - both the parties are blaming each other and no clarity of the problem has been conveyed to us properly. We are left hanging.

                            Voltas sent their 3rd servicing agent. He came and confirmed the 2nd complaint to be right (that is - installation wasn't done correctly hence all the cooling gas had leaked out). Based on this he refilled the cooling gas and showed me the pressure in the outdoor unit. However they did not call to confirm or inform. This person just came and serviced it well. He also said he was sent by the company to close the open request number and if the same issue repeats that I can let voltas know and they would replace the AC if required.

                              I had booked 1st free service of 1.5 T Voltas split AC on 07-04-16. Request no [protected] was registered and slot of 09-04-16 at 1330 hrs was fixed. I was notified thru SMS. When no one turned up or phoned till 1430 hrs, I again called customer care. I was told they would look into the matter. Till 11-04-16 when I didnot get any call, I again contacted customer care at 1100hrs. I was told by 1200 hrs, the technician would call. But there was no communication till writing of this.
                              I am surprised is this the kind of service Voltas provide.

                                  My voltas split ac model 18v iy(1.5 ton) was delivered from snapdeal on 9th march. During installation/inspection, the voltas service team found that there was a defect in compressor pcb and they informed me to replace the pcb with a new one within a week. However even after a month they have not yet replaced the defective part due to which i am not able to use the product. I am not getting proper response from them despite calling their customer care repeatedly. I have already lodged a complaint in their official website to no avail. Their customer service is extremely pathetic and strict action should be taken against them. My complaint no is [protected]. Request you to please resolve this issue at the earliest so that i can use my new product, else i will escalate this issue to even higher authority.

I got a call from Snapdeal representative regarding the product but they didn't accept that they delivered the defective product to me even though I had mailed them the snapshot earlier.                                     I complained about ac malfunctioning one week back.. One technician came to my home and reported that one part needs to be changed but the technician never came back..We called the customer care again and they said that they closed our prrvious complaint without knowing whether the problem got resolved or not.                                       I have a water dispenser of voltas. I've been calling their customer care from the past 3 days. However, they are neither ready to replace the dispenser nor ready to replace it. They do not even revert to our complaint. Please provide us the necessary feedback as the water dispenser is required to be repaired on urgent basis.
                                      This is a very serious issue as I've heard so much about voltas. However, such poor service is just going to affect your goodwill as the customer care people refuse to help in any way and also do not have any sense of how to talk to the customers.

                                        Bought an ac from croma counought place one week ago. Billing was in favour of meenakshi raghuvanshi. Bt nobody came to install yet. Even i called him many time. They gave time 2 days for installation that's why i take leave from office. Bt unfortunately they did not came. My 2 days leave became worthless. Even mr. A k gupta is cutting my ph. Also. Such a bad service i never expected. Same day my friend brought a blue star ac and after next day it was installed... Such type of employees are decrease your brand reputation and also harassing the costumer. Hope you will take action againts mr a k gupta and others who will be resposible for it and will inform me. Thanks
