I have changed my sim due to some issue in my previous sim.
The new sim was bought at Airtel Store, Patel Nagar and I have submitted the required documents.
Its been a week now and my sim is still not activated. I have even contacted the Airtel Store guys and they are saying that the activation needs to be done from the backend team and they do not have any contact person who can ask them to activate the number. They have send numerous mails but no action has been taken till now.
Even I have submittted an online request for activation as well. but still not reply.

    Airtel new connection broadband. Dey told me that 8mpbs speed for new connection n took money from me. Den after 4 days I called dem dey told me that sorry sir der was prob in connection now u ll get only 2mbps. N from 9.3.2016 still no call from dem n refund. This is how dey give service. I dont wan any refund and all. This is how dey cheat. I need connection with 8mbps or else i need cash amount more den 10000RS

      I went to gachibowli airtel centre for sim replacement due to damage in my old sim. I submitted all the necessary documents and cash to get the new sim. I got the new sim and it was activated within 48 hours as told by them. I was very happy with the service provided by Airtel. But later after 2 or 3 days I received a message stating we have not received your sim change documents so your sim will be blocked within 24 hours. I was shocked and surprised to see that message. So I went to Airtel office again and asked the reason. None of them shown me proper response and they were asking to whom did u give the documents as I dont exactly remember executive, I just showed them the chair where he was sitting.Then they said they will inquire and provide me response within 24 hrs and till now I have not received any. As a loyal 8 years customer to Airtel I dont know where did I made the mistake. I submitted all the necessary documents required for Sim replacement as per Airtel Policy. Due to my sim blocked I am missing lot of important and critical calls. I request you to take this issue very seriously and provide me a resolution at the earliest.

        Hi, this is Sahil Sood from Bangalore having airtel prepaid connection no. [protected] which is a himachal pradesh no . I lost my mobile yesterday night. I want to request the Airtel team to please block this Sim card ASAP.

        Please guide me through the process of issuing a duplicate prepaid SIM card . I expect a quick solution to my problem with further knowledge of the procedure.

          I am a prepaid customer of airtel since last 6-7 years, but I never faced this type of problem and my plan is under Rs.399(For unlimited Internet plan)but I don't understand how my balance finished in 12 days only to zero, when 399 was deducted for this month, my balance was Rs.276, after deduction of Rs.399.

          Pls let me know as what can be done now and how to correct the same at the earliest.

            Connecttion speeds have been pathetic for my Airtel 4G Postpaid no.[protected] for the last 4+ months. Download speeds of 0.48mbps and Upload speed of 0.02mbps would be unaceptable even to a 2G user. Several calls, complaints, escalations have all gone unattended. Airtel support simply closes complaints on a whim. One complaint was closed citing they have checked the area gets 20mbps so all is well! No one has bothered to come and even check for the problem with my no. despite several requests.
            The company seems to be having no qualms with non-delivery of service but the bills & payment reminders are as prompt as can get.

            Most unprofessional and pathetic service to a long-standing customer. What a shame, Airtel! If Airtel does not resolve this issue, would be disconnecting the number and also advice all not to go for Airtel 4G (2G at 4G rates).

              I was told i would get a lifetime discount of 299 on airtel postpaid and now they are like we don't have any info on that. They're big cheaters and the network coveraqe low. iDon't know how that girl gets coverage in hiomalaya when i'm not getting any 3G signal in my house itself and not able to hear any voices while on 3G network

              and the my family i had submitted for got rejected the reason was wrong address. while i gave 4 numbers and two of them got verified two was rejected because of wrong address i don't know how that is possible as the number verified was mine and my father while my brother and mother number got rejected. and we stay in under the same roof.

              and they told there emplyee visited for the verifacation when i submited my application second time but as far i know they never came to my house itself .

                  I had very bad experience in Airtel prepaid .
                  I activated Auto renewal pack of 2G In nov and deactivated in the same month But every month the amount of rs 175 is being detected from my account
                  .Every month after call customer care they refunded me .
                  But they are unable to deactivate the auto renewal pack from last there months. But this month they have not refunded

                        I am using Airtel DTH . On 16/3/2016 the Set Top Box did not respond. Called up the Customer "Care" (CC)after waiting for a Executive for about 20 mts, was informed that Rs.150 visit charges was to be paid to technician to inspect. Agreed to that. Complaint No. was sent by SMS. After a few minutes, another SMS arrived that the complaint was solved. Perplexed i again called CC and registered another complaint again waiting for 25 minutes to speak to an executive. The technician did not come. I got a message that my phone was unreachable and i should call a number. I repeatedly called the number and was made to hear a very good song which was installed as Caller Tune. Each time no one responded. Fed up after calling for the 30th time, i wrote an email to CC. No response... Sent another email tell them i shall discontinue. NO ONE AT AIRTEL CARES !!!
                        TILL DATE NO RESOLUTION TO MY PROBLEM.
                        PS: I am also using Airtel 4G but get 2G Speeds after initial 15 minutes. But that is a different story.

                          Very poor strategy from Airtel – it's very unfortunate to see that we're not getting any offers/coupons for Airtel from any of the e-wallets. I've been seeing the “monopolic” behaviour of Airtel and Airtel just helped in breaching the threshold. I am planning to move my number away from Airtel through MNP. Soon. Airtel – if you're seeing or paying any attention to the customers' voices, you better learn the lesson at least now before it's too late for your business go down the drain completely.

                            I have changed by package after calling Airtel Dish Executive.
                            On their information after giving miss call to a particular number i have received msg stating that if Recharges for Rs. 759/- approx is made then payment for 3 months is done.

                            While after making the recharge for Rs. 759/- approx no confirmation msg was received . So in order to confirm the same i have again called them to give the status and they said that same will be given in 48 Hours.


                            While after one month they are saying that there on such scheme valid to my account.
                            Simply wasted my whole time of calling them
                            if the scheme was not valid they would have told me same at the first please only.

                            Please revert .
                            I request customer form to take adverse action on such practise. Wasting tonn of time.

                            I have made call in order know the status of my card. No sufficient reply is been received.

                            additionally i my card is not converted from pre paid to post paid then how can charges for internet usuage can be deducted as there is no balance in my account.

                                I have recharged my mobile number with Rs.263 4G internet plan on 19/3/2016 08:28 PM through Paytm. After message confirmation for my recharge, I started using 4G internet from my phone(Redmi 2 prime - in LTE network mode).

                                After using for about 1 hour, I wasn't able to connect to internet. On checking my balance I was shocked to see that it reduced to Rs. 0.00. I was having Rs.124 in my main balance. In this situation, I can't even call to customer support to inquire the problem. On reaching home, I called the customer care number from another airtel number and I asked the reason for deduction from my main balance even though I had 1GB 4G internet data available. Their reply was even more shocking to me. They said that the 1GB data is only for 4G network and if the network switches from 4G to 3G or 2G charges will be deducted from main balance. If they don't have proper 4G network bandwidth whether it is my fault to opt for higher end services. If you claim that you provide 4G services then you should have the coverage everywhere. I felt cheated on that day and I was mentally disturbed by their worst services. The customer care executive attending the call was so rude that even opted me to do Portability and change to some other network.

                                I am posting my experience here so that a strict action is taken on Airtel for faking people in the name of 4G. I hope no one should be cheated like this hereafter.

                                I don't understand what do you mean by "Airtel account number". If you mean my mobile number, then find it as below:

                                What you are going to resolve, please be clear. Are you going to refund that amount that is deducted. I don't want to continue this posts without any use. So just mention here if you can fix this or not.

                                  On 16/03/2016 due to bad service & not provided as per agreed plan, hence, I personally visited in your Airtel shop at- castlemill, Thane & furnished all the documents for cancellation alongwith photographs & cancelled the service & at that time reference no. given to me i.e. 68365160 & told me that, the said service will be cancelled within 48 hours, but the said service not yet closed. on 18/03/2016 one person call from your department & ask about continuation of the said plan & also given assurance to provide the 10GB of 4G & thereafter 3G unlimited & also offer to 30% discount on the bill but I never agreed for the same & told him to terminate the service On 21/03/2016, I learned from the your castle mill Airtel Department, when i went to ask about the service not yet terminated they said as per your request now my plan is changed & they also refuse to take any complaint in respect of the said high handed act of your employee who changed the plan without my consent & given your email I. D. to approach to my grivience. From this kind of harassment & negligence, i am suffering lot which will not compensate in terms of money & if you will not cancel or terminate the service then i am not going to pay any bill in future . please take serious note of this.
                                  In these facts & circumstances, I hope will take necessary action against the said of your employee & also terminate the service in the interest of justice.

                                    On 25 Febuary 2016 had called Airtel and complained against Textguru (textguru.in) making several promotional calls on my number.

                                    In response, the Airtel Nodal department had written to the company that they are not TRAI registered and have defaulted and so will be closing all their numbers and services given to them by Airtel (please see copy of letter in attachment)

                                    Even after one month passed, their services are still continuing. You can see proof of the same at the website of defaulter company, textguru.in

                                    On writing to applellate department, one Ms. Nalini replied and they refused to act on this.

                                    It is highly likely that there is a setting between the defaulter company, textguru.in and DND departement of Airtel/Appellate department of Airtel.
                                    Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                    Also talked with Mr. Ashish, Airtel Customer Care Operations manager. He also refused to do anything in the issue and the defaulter site is continuing to enjoy services from Airtel. This encourages defaulters to default and get away scott free.
                                    I had similar issue with an insurance company calling me to sell their product. I sent complaint to DND number of airtel (1909) and they investigated and replied that "it was not promotional, but a service being provided" !!! They suggested I escalate to the appellate office if I was not satisfied. Sunil Mittal is running a company of crooks. They should be shut down. Thank god for Jio.

                                      Dates of incident: 23 Dec 2015 and 22 Mar 2016
                                      On both these days I did a recharge of 2G data for 1 day validity on my mobile number and did not receive the promised benefits.
                                      When I contacted the customer care, on 23 Dec 2015, they said no recharge was done and they can't provide any assistance.
                                      When I contacted them for the next faulty transaction, on 22 Mar 2016, they said there are two ways to pay for this transaction, if it is done by deducting the main balance then only will I get the promised benefits or else some random benefits which is not even mentioned anywhere, not even on the payment page, therefore, no assistance and no refund too.

                                        I use Airtel Digital TV service. I want to change my package and I want to know my package details and new package details. I called the consumer service number several times. I waited for 10 mins or more but in the end no one receives call at the other end. I have send mail through company website 5times. and its been 6days still there is no response. I have the android app of My Airtel. I have tried to contact through that still no one replys. every day Rs. 12-15 are deducted from my airtel account if I dont update my account. This is worst experience.
