Dear Sir,

As a good will gesture from ICFAI, I got an Rs.500/- worth of gift voucher. Which I thought I would redeem from Big Bazaar, Ameetpet, Hyderabad, but the experience of shopping at Big Bazaar with this Voucher has been nothing less than a horror trail.

Before starting with my shopping itself I asked couple of ladies at the cash counter if the gift voucher was valid and they gave me a positive response.

Hence I went on to shop for merchandize worth approx Rs.2000/-. But when I went to the cash counter to pay my bill, to my utter shock they said that the gift coupon is not registered. I failed to understand how Big Bazaar group can issue a gift voucher that is not registered.

The Cashier told me to go to the Customer Service desk. The customer service desk at Ameerpet was one of the most hopeless Customer services I have ever encountered; they are only good for Packing, not for handling customer queries.

Only after yelling at the Guy at service desk, I got the contact of Manager Mr. Ravi. (I was asking for his mobile number, but no one seems to know it at big bazaar.) I had to go to his office and wait for 15 min. Finally the gentleman was there. He assured me that he will get the issue resolved in 15 min. Therefore I waited and waited and waited for 1 hr to get a call for one of his executive saying they are sorry about not able to do any thing about it for the time being and they will revert back to me later on this issue. (Lady Executive explains Ravi that this is the issue with all of these RV)

The whole of Sunday was lost just to avail this Big Bazaar coupon worth Rs 500/- over and above that spent Rs. 300/- worth of petrol and time (invaluable). What was most depressing was the service at every level (not adding an adjective to the kind of service).

I would request ICFAI (guys that I know) to kindly stop issuing these voucher to any one and spare them of the ordeal that you need to go through redeeming it.

    Every time I go the these shops/malls in the city they charge extra for polythene carry bag giving excuse that government has instructed them to but in my opinion they should be providing paper bag to customer so that we can save the environment.

      I had bought a PHILIPS sandwich maker from BIG BAZAAR ,PATNA . on 25 jan 2012.on reaching home when I opened the packet ,I found the lower body of sandwich maker broken .On contacting the PHILIPS service centre at patna, they asked me to take the damaged product back to BIG BAZAAR . When I took the product to big baazaar , the sales men were blaming me for the damaging the product. They were so rude and loud . I fail to understand that I had bought jam bottles that day from big bazzaar and they were intact but a sandwich maker which I think was not made of GLASS CRUMPLED ! ! Then they called their manager and to my utter shock he told me that I should have checked the product proprely before buying because there was so much rush that day and it was not possible to check every electronic product they were selling. AND ITS NOT THEIR POLICY TO DO THIS. .and ASKED ME TO GO ANYWHERE I WANT TO BUT HEwill NOT REPLACE THE PRODUCT., a heated argument followed then. Then, I asked him to return my broken product . ,and when I started reading my guarantee papers, my bills, one sales man offered to change my product because they thought I might complain to higher authorities or so .He did change my product ,but at the end I am really pissed off by rude and so un proffesional behavior by your so called manager. I swear not to visit your BIG BAZAAR again. YOU PEOPLE JUST SELL THINGS WITHOUT CHECKING AND EXPECT CUSTOMERS TO CHECK EVERY CIRCIUT OF ELECTRONICS. I COULD HAVE DONE SO IF I WAS AN ENGINEER. AND NOT EVERYONE A ENGINEER IN THIS WORLD... KINDLY GET YOUR POLICY CLEAR ON EVERY ADVERTISEMENT YOU MAKE IN NEWSPAPAER THAT CUSTOMERS WILL HAVE TO BUY ELECTRONICS AT THEIR OWN RISK, IF THEY DONT KNOW THE INTRICACIES oF THE PRODUCT they are buying because you people dont bother to check them before selling .

        This is about the Big Bazaar outlet at Aditya Mall in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. It is one of the the biggest in size in Indirapuram and lowest in terms of polite consumer behaviour. Recently, they started a drive to ask customers to bring their own bags to carry the purchased stuff or buy plastic bags at a cost. So far so good. However, their environmental sensitivity is limited by their convenience. They will not pack the stuff purchased in any bag you give them - which incidentally are their bags bought earlier from them. What's more, the packing staff is so rude to throw the bags you give them as trash. Recycling is also an important aspect of environmental protection is conveniently forgotten. And while they rank disgustingly low in consumer satisfaction, they definitely are loyal to each other as the billing staff fully supports and encourages this attitude. They do have a farce of feedback forms more to waste paper than anything else since no complaint is ever addressed. At one time they used to call themselves Apna Bazaar, how ironical is that??? While some of the staff is well behaved and tries to address issues in a constructive manner, there are several who make all such efforts meaningless. After all, one dirty fish spoils the entire ponds, and Big Bazaar, Aditya mall has recruited several such dirty fishes. Nobody expects the customer to be treated like a king, but one does expect basic human dignity and decency ... totally lacking at Big Bazaar, Aditya Mall.

          I purchased a pair of shoes from future bazaar online,when i purchased the shoes it was in stock and the customer care called me up to let me know that i would need to pay the cash at the bank for which i did the very next day,however its been a long wait approximately 2 months and the product is still not arrived.I called the customer care several times and now they tell me i will have to cancel the order from my side for which i have refused,This is to also let people know that the customer care are a bunch of liars and cheats they never give you the right answer or information.I WOULD PERSONALLY SAY FROM MY END DO NOT SHOP FROM FUTURE BAZAAR ONLINE THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND THE LAST EXPERIANCE EVER HAD WITH THEM.

          FutureBazaar — Poor Delivery

          BigBazaar, Aditya Mall, Indirapuram: Booked Split AC a week ago. As per the schemepolicy, there was a free stabilizer that for that model, which I haven't received it yet.

          Everytime on following it up with Electronics Store Manager (InderSen), store manager is giving false commitment and excuses.

          I feel cheated because they never told me Out-Of-Stock at the time of billing and after billing, they are providing the actual status on the stock.

          This was my first time and was really pathetic. Big Player with false commitment and bad stock inventory.

          Alert! Food Bazar is cheating the customer . Please check the bills the rate is totally different in many things as claimed . The vegetables rate are totally wrong in the computer.

            This is to inform you that today i.e 25th jan 2012, I had visited to BigBazaar, Fathehabad Road, Agra there i had collects the good in bulk and had gone to the billing counter, where my bill was done but before the bill was printed by the cashier Mr. JataShanker Mishra came and says that this goods would not be billed. He called two or three persons and said that your billing will not be done and insulted me infront of your staff as well as infronts of other customers.

            In the meanwhile, he called my brother and ask for certain commission which my brother refuses. He then said that "dekhta hu tumahara bill kaun banata hai". while in the mean time two or three customers come and there bulk goods was billed (even you can saw in your billed records). when I saw feel really embarrassed and insulting in front of my family and others customer.

            I feel really shock, that in todays world where the customers were preferred, where people such like Mr. Jata Shanker Mishra doesnot want the customers to really come back to their stores in which they were only employee not an employer. They only think about their benefits.

            This would not happens to other customer and I am your customer thought to complaint about the mishbehaviour of your employee so that the senior officer of your company could take some action over such kind of people. If such would happen then let me know.

              With due respect I would like to bring to your kind information that PAYBACK CARD no [protected],
              India's largest loyalty program of BIG BAZAAR, BHANGAGARH GUWAHATI 781005 was not given to me on 06/12/2011 when I cleared my Bill of Rs. 1474. My receipt No is 0028276 on 06/12/2011. Sir, I went to BIG BAZAAR as like the other day I go there. I paid the bill in cash at 17:10pm to the Cashier Sahjahan Ali and I purchased 33 ITEMS from the Ground Floor.

              The Cashier misbehaved with me and my wife and then he took many advantages o[censored]s and partially gave the PAYBACK card to a guy who was indecent and was standing infront of my wife . He uttered to me some Assamese Slang words that I feel very ashamed if I say you now. My question is why I was issued the PAYBACK CARD on 07/01/2012 by Cashier Parag Dutta and why on 06/12/2011 I was victimise. Sahjahan ali the cashier didnot issue me the PAYBACK Card on 06/12/2011 and he insulted me infront of all other Customers. Please take necessary steps in this regard. Please give me Justice.

              hi, i need to complaint about the big bazaar, lb nagar branch, hyderabad, AP.


              As i am a regular costumer there to ur store, inspite of several complaints given by me there, but till now no response from there, infact i enquired about the floor manager, purchase manager never available at the store. all branded products are never available there( infact the small corner kirana shop maintains the needed products) i dossent know why the company paying the salary to the certain people. and one day i argued with them regarding shortage everytime they threaten me, hence forth im once again bringing this issue to the head office, kindly look into this matter and above im giving the details also of the products of multinational companies products which are almost shortage to my knowledge.

                I have bought 4 furniture's of Big bazaar. When I was buying those, I was apprehensive that after I buy the things I may not get the after sales service. i am in a transferable job. But at that time they said that whenever I get transferred I should inform the Local Big bazaar office and they will come and fix it.

                Till now i have asked the Big bazaar fitters 3 times to come and fit my things but nobody came. I also asked the office to send the people but they said we have to contact the fitters directly.

                my entire investment is a waste. I had to get fitter from outside to fit it. But it had all gone waste and now the furniture is not being in a good condition (Not working)

                Please help me. I request you.

                  This happened for more than 3rd time.The salesman at big bazaar , ahmednagar are extremely arrogant as well as non-cooperative.
                  Whenever anything is needed salesmen not available . One has to search them and after searching also they don't pay attention to you.
                  Many salesmen even don't know where the product is placed and even the product availability.
                  On top of it on billing counter salesmen never have change available . They ask us to find change from anywhere or by another product to round of the cost of products.
                  I just like big bazaar because it has everything under one roof and you need not search for anything but if I'M getting such kind of treatment again and again then the local market is preferable.

                    This was my first purchase from Home Town.

                    Purchased Date - 14/01/2012

                    I AM VERY MUCH DISSATISFIED WITH THE WAY THEY ASSUARE FOR THE DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCT.

                    Delivery Failed on the Date promised - No Issue.
                    Nobody contacted me about the NON-DELIVERY - Very Bad. Not Expected.
                    Reason for the NON-DELIVERY - Different persons gave different explainations which were very contradictory.

                    2 Days WAIT for the Delivery of the Product but the PRODUCT was delivered in a PACKED Condition without installation. I had to contact the Home Town people on my own and get the way of installing the product on the same day.
                    Several Phone calls........Several People to contact...........what a mess.....ALL ON MY OWN INTEREST.
                    Installation would have delayed if I would have NOT taken any step ON MY OWN.

                    The above explaination was for the Product SONY LED which has been installed but not satisfied with the installation as it has some defect.

                    Another product SHOE RACK purchased, came after 2 days still lat my home in the packed condition. 2 days more to wait for the assembly. The assurance of within 48 hrs is actually NOT WITHIN - it is ACTUALLY 48 hrs......................

                      Hi,

                      This is to state that the staff of Big Bazaar is very unhelpfull today 14th Jan 2011 ( 11:30 to 12:30 noon) there were only 2 counters working in the entire premises.
                      More that 15 customers were waiting and out of the 2 counters 1 has some technical fault.

                      After complaining for the same the staff was not ready to open other counters rather they said its your wish if you want to buy you hav to stand and wait.

                      The reason they gave that they dont have enough staff, this is a regular feature in Allahabd.

                      Please rectify this of please close this branch as Public is being harresed....

                        I ordered Washing Machine on Dec 25th 2011. i paid Full Amount to machine.

                        Till now they not delivered,

                        Daily i am calling the management office, they told today will deliver, & evening will deliver & tomorrow morning will deliver. this same reason they are telling daily.

                        somany complaints i saw in internet also but they are all not given any complaint to Consumer Court.

                        iam ready to face with Big Bazar.

                        Big Bazaar, Mysore — Washing machine not delivered

                        I purchased Whirlpool washing machine A65D model from Big bazzar, Mysore on 1st January 2011, I was promised to deliver the product on the following Thursday i.e., on 6th Jan 2011, But the product was not delivered on the specified date and when inquired they keep on extending the delivery date for more than 10 times and on 20th Jan 2011 the delivered a defective product and they are now delaying to replace the product and they are not ready to refund the money.
                        Since a defective product was delivered on 20-Jan-2011, I'm considering it as product not delivered.

                        Thanks Mr Singh for creating public awareness in the Koryo company's attitude towards customer relations and service. Actual service is the hardest part to evaluate because it depends on one or two individuals who are fedup of their jobs, listening to only complaints. That leads to arrogance on the part of the service staff who know there is not much a consumer can do but go through the tedious unreliable process of consumer court.
                        Bad experience, never happened before. When I went for shopping in 3rd floor mens section, I found a salesperson shouting at everyone to not open or hold any clothes. I was totally confused! How it's possible to select the material without looking or touching it? Finally the manager came to our help and he allowed us to access the stuffs. The untrained & misbehaving salesperson name is 'Nithya'. Action should be taken to train such uneducated workers or else it's worthless to visit big bazaar.

The untrained & misbehaving salesperson name is 'Nithya'. Action should be taken to train such uneducated workers or else it's worthless to visit big bazaar.

                          I purchased one T.V table(sugar trolley) from big bazar in express avenue at royapetta,Chennai on 26/10/2011 for an amount Rs4999/-.During purchase they informed that they will deliver the product within two -three weeks time and assemble the product.They deliver the product but till now nobody from big bazar came to assemble the trolley.when contacted also i am not getting any positive from big bazar employee.
                          kindly take necessary action and send some body to assemble the trolley.

                            Bought three wash basins vide cash memo number T72/354 dated[protected].
                            One of the wash basin model number [protected] was found to be damaged as informed to us by plumber Mr.Sumit Ojha sent by big bazaar, ranchi. After repeated reminders and personal contact with the personnels of big bazaar, ranchi Mr.Ananjan Khatua, ASM and Mr.Gurucharan Das, Sr, they finally instructed me to bring the wash basin to big bazzar and to surrender it on[protected] and assured me that as soon as the particular wash basin is available at big bazaar ranchi I shall be informed, but no communication was made from big bazaar, ranchi to me.
                            In the mean time I visited ranchi for some official work and I also went to big bazaar ranchi to remind them about the replacement of my wash basin, but the personnel present over there refused to listen to my complaint and told me that there is lapse of two years, since the purchase of the article, so they will neither replace the article nor refund the amount.

                              We have purchased Sansui 32inch LCD from Big Bazaar ,Sitabuldi Branch,Nagpur , date - 25th Dec 2011.
                              They delivered defected piece and when we asked for replacement they told the same is not available.

                                I had registered a complain with customer-care center of non-heating in the Microwave oven. Their service men came and told that a part has to be changed. 20 days have passed and they have not replaced the part and rectified the problem.

                                Gentlemen my suggestion is never buy any Koryo product from any place, because you will be a sufferer like me.

                                I agree with Rajesh completely. Never ever buy any Koryo product from any location. They looks cheap, but do not work a few days later. I learnt this after buying two products, an AC and water heater.

                                    In big bazar Tofu is being sold as Paneer . They label the item as paneer and bill it as tofa . The product is sold at rates of paneer and the customer is misguided . This is happening in Great india place mall Noida.

                                      Its very sad to know that a big outlet can have such a careless cashier and even the manager who is not care full at the time explaining the order which is to be billed. I have made an advance for a dining table and wanted to have an installment facility and according to the manager only 10% had to be paid by me for an advance order but the cashier have made a bill of full amount and have charged my card. The manager present out there did not had anything to say and he was very calm regarding dealing the problem which the cashier made.

                                      The debit card transaction was supposed to be void but the same was not done as "it takes long time to get settled and there would be no one to have a follow up with the bank regarding the same" same was told by the manager present out there. It is not at all acceptable as its an bigger mistake done by the cashier and the manager both and it is big concern.

                                        I had booked a Kurlon mattress last week with Hometown Vikhroli, which was supposed to be delivered on last sunday i.e. 18th Dec'11. I am still waiting for the mattress, its been three days now and theres no update from them. I have been calling those bunch of from howntown since sunday and yet its not delivered. Each time i call they pass it on to some other person and i have to start allover again, explaining why i had made the call... I have made around 150 calls in last three days and I guess I have spoken to almost every individual working at hometown, but no output.

                                        What i want now?
                                        Either give me refund or deliver the mattress with an apology letter, otherwise i wont consider the delivery.

                                        Me and my husband have had a very bad experience with hometown.First of all they attract customers by offering their irresistable discounts and schemes and then after having taken so many orders they are unable to cater to the customers.we booked 2 package bathrooms of Rs.25000 each and when we asked for the delivery they said it would be done in a couple of days.After waiting when we did not receive the goods we called them and they told us it would be take them a couple of more days.still no luck and our work was all held up cos of them. finally we went to Hometown personally and we then come to know that what shower panel and enclosures we had booked are now out of stock and it will take a month or so for the specific company to send the product to Hometown. When you phone Hometown and ask for the concerned person he or she will never come online they will always put u on to someone else or tell u that they will call you after sometime .But they will never call.We had to go there again to select some other panel and enclosure.Even the tile section is as bad. We ordered Nitco cotto ocean green tiles for our bath flooring and the tiles sent to our site were all discoloured when we personally went to Hometown with a sample of the bad tile instead of agreeing with us they were convincing us that the tiles come like that only.after getting in touch with some seniors of Hometown then we were attended to.I have waited in Hometown for 4 long hrs to get my work done.YOU WILL ONLY GET DISAPPOINTMENT FROM THEIR SCHEMES)
