A fraud was conducted by the BYJU”s in the name of trail and refund of their learning tablet.

Suddenly one day I received a call from Byjus and they requested me for a session with their educational counselor named Akhilesh for advising my child and providing a scholarship program of their learning course at a subsidized price.
It was explained to me that if the program doesn’t work for my child it will be refunded within 1 month. And there is 15 days trail period from the day your child start using the tablet he will be tracked and contacted that if the child is reading or not but no such thing happened and if it does not work for him it can immediately refunded.

He insisted me to process the payment today itself as the discount will not be given after wards, I ordered 2 program (1 is for Class 6 to 10 and other for class 11-12 ) for my two children which cost me around Rs. 1, 16, 000/- (Rs. 16, 000/- paid through my credit card Rs. 1, 00, 000/- is through loan from Capital Float)

One Child used the program for hardly 7-8 days and didn’t find it useful and other child not at all used the program till date.

When I asked for refund the executive guided me to mail for the same and assured me it’s not a problem it can be refunded as the trail period of 15 days as well as 1 month period not expired.

When I mailed for refund the customer care executive named shipra said me that there is 15 days refund policy and denied me for refund and also said no such trial period option and they don’t know who the executive is and what is said by him and when I said that your refund policy is vague as it only says that it is 15 days refund policy but not from where and your executive explains me that it is the 15 days trail period which starts from the day you start using the product she didn’t take the responsibility of the executive who said all this and said me it is my fault that I took the product without reading proper documents.

When I again called the earlier executive and said about the same then he again said me it can be done and ask me to again mail me and say his name and also informed me that he left the job and cannot do anything.

I continuously mailed again and again and because of my repeated calls, I was called by another executive named damini saying the executive i.e. shipra who is handling my case is out of office and we cannot do anything just can inform her and refused to process my refund.

This is not expected from BYJU’s, such a big organization but after this it seemed as if nothing but a money minded and fraud organization who by misguiding the people by providing misleading information do sales and complete their target and later on deny refunds and harass people.

My hard earned money is trapped here because of misleading information of the executives and I want refund of the credit card payment of Rs. 16, 000/- and cancellation of the loan agreement with capital float.

    Subscription purchased for my son for class 4 to 8, later on i found that product is not useful and not meeting my requirements, hence i called the call center on 15th day and there after i got called back saying i cannot returned the product and the need to pay for it
    Even after writing mail and phone call, no one is responding and willing to cancel.

        I have purchased from byjus 6 to 12 std programme for 1 lakh. I had paid 15000 already. Remaining balance will be taken from my bank account by ecs by byjus. As i found it is only marketing scam i am not interested is this product. Counceller told me i will get worksheets according to my child's school syllabus. But when i asked mentor for worksheet she told she can't provide it. As 1 lakh cost is for tablet and memory cards only. None of byjus mentors will know your childs std in which child study... How child is performing in school. This is only a marketing company. I don't believe they r interested in giving education. So i want byjus to stop ecs deduction from my account. I also want refund of my 15000 rs which i have paid

          I would like to inform you that i have sent the email for registration cancelation and got the confirmation in that confirmation the person said that he/she was not ready to process the cancelation request, so i approced him again but he/she got very irate and said that “i will not go to process the cancelation request” and threatened me for life or death consequence than i told him/her that i would case against you than he/she reply do what ever you want to do but your registrartion would not be cancel.

          So i am informing you that i have some voice clipping for the same and will go to consumer court and local police also, would request you to please confirm me that you are able to cancel my registration or not? Please reply me on via email not on call.

            I purchased the byjus tablet last year in july and paid rs40, 000 for half year. I stated that i will renew this next year because i am talking this for trial basis as i was in 1st year and my main aim is to crack cat 2019. She assured me that i only have to pay rs 10, 000 more and my whole course will be revised. But now when i called the company for the extension they said it will cost me rs 15000. I called the counsellor who gave me the cat course last year and she said that i am no more associate with byjus and i can't do anything. I tried everything. I asked every person that this is wrong but they talked to me very rudely and cut the phone on my face. They said don't purchase the extension if you don't want to pay 15000. She said that am the senior most counsellor and i have discussed this with my managers. That's why i paid the fees. I belong to a middle class family. I invested 40000 in byju as the assured me the total will be 50000 for both the years.
            I made the payment yesterday and today a senior counsellor called me and said that we can provide you 10000 as she didn't know that i have paid.
            My family has financial problems and the company has done this to me. This is fraud.
            She said i cannot refund your 5000 because jo hogya wo hogya. Usme hum kutcher nhi kr sakte.
            This really requires a strict actions. I waited for at least 10 days before making the payment. But everybody said the same.

              I had purchased the tablet learning course around 20 days ago. We tried to use it. But we experienced some technical hiccups. My daughters were taking a lot of time to sort it out. We tried to contact them on a couple of occassions, but we couldn't get connected.
              Being dissatisfied with the lukewarm response and customer service, we decided not to use it. Because we were told by the representative who visited our place and pursuaded us to purchase it that if we don't use it adequately in the first 15 days, it would be taken back.
              As soon as i received the consignment i informed the byjus and i was promised that he would visit my place. That hasn't happened.
              Now when i made the request for cancellations of the course, a few silly arguements were raised by the byjus.
              I am not able to contact anyone from byjus except one representative. He keeps repeating the same everytime.
              I need everyone's help in relving this issue.

                I took the BYJU'S subscription in the month of Dec18. After 7-10 days of receiving the kit, I raised a request for cancellation as my daughter was not utilizing it properly. A lady called me and asked me to try for some more days. When I rejected as I will not be able to cancel the subscription after 15 days, she assured me that cancellation can be done at any time and i will be given full refund as I made the cancellation request before the given period of time, to which I agreed and decided to give a try.
                Again within a week(22ndDec18) of our conversation, I sent a mail for cancellation as my daughter was reluctant to use the product. Since then no one responded to the emails. Now they are saying that the cancellation is not possible as the stipulated time period of 15 days is over.
                This is not expected from BYJU'S. I lost trust in their service and I seriously dont recommend anyone to even try BYJU'S services. They are just money minded.

                  Complete fraud business and suggest other parents to stop it. The policy of the company is so bad.

                  Initially they said that they will assign a mentor, but the mentor never calls up and discusses on the topics and also no proper guidelines. Even no one is paying attention on it.

                  Within 1st 15 days nobody will call you. After that when they call they say they can't refund the amount because 15 days is over. Its not worthy for us.

                  I am not interested in the course because i don't see the approach and concepts are correct and beneficial to me. Within first 15 days we cannot go over each topic to judge on how the teaching is. If anyone wants to drop the course in between they do not allow for cancellation and auto debit the amount. Its the way to making customers fool.

                  This is not the way a institute must be. I want to fight for my money when i am not utilizing the learning app.

                  I am definitely recommending my school authorities and all possible relatives and social media to not opt for byju's learning course.

                      We received a call from mr. Shubham chaudhary of byjus. He told my parents that he will take my test and analyse me.
                      He also mentioned that he was coming from bangalore and will return the same day. He convinced my parents to purchase this package for me. But after 3 or 4 days, i didn't found it useful. I asked him on 10th day to help me return the tablet. He said ok and he will help me. But later he blocked my mobile number and didn't even replied my single message. When we approached the team, they said that its whole my fault. I even gave them my proofs but they just refused with no excuse. Now they are calling and saying that i would have to return the tablet without any refund otherwise the bank will charge me interest. Please help me. I have proof on my side. I wouldn't return the tablet without refund.

                          Had made a down payment of rs 5000/- for byju's course material on 15 th december 2018.. Rest 90000/- had to b given by loan from capital float.. But before the dispatch of the course material i had cancelled the order on 29.12.18.. I had also mailed capital float to stop the disbursal of the loan the same day. But capital float disbursed the loan amount to byju's on 4.1.19. On my repeated requests, my down payment of rs 5000/- has been refunded.. But the loan amount of rs 90000/- has not yet been refunded despite my repeated reminders.. And capital float has started to deduct the emis..
                          I want byju's to refund the loan amount to resolve the issue...

                            My son being selected on byjus exam conducted in our appartment in madurai, the company offered the product for trial period for 15 days and asked to try the product if not satisfied return them back. We called the team on the 3 rd day of its arrival to cancel the product. They did not give any proper reply to us but just sending the message that "we will call within 24 hrs". Cancellation mail has also been sent thrice to the company but no proper measures has been taken but i receive only false promises, and now the 1st month due has been generated. Kindly close the scheme immediately. We are very much disappointed with the service you are providing to the customers.

                              I am Raghu M S, I had taken Byjus coaching classes for UPSC as I desired to have the best career. So I heard BYJU's is good, later I joined the institution. But later due to some issues I was not able to attend the classes. Later I asked for cancelation of my classes and refund my EMI payment for the same. I has first put mail to Byjus team in the month of December first week. But still today I have not received my EMI back nor my EMI cancelation is done. I have put several mails more than 60 plus mails to them. But not even till now they have taken action. They reply telling that it will be done. But don't know when.
                              Kindly resolve my issue. Or else I have to take this issue very seriously and complain to higher officials.
                              Not even single person takes initiative there to do work. But still my EMI is getting debited from my account.

                                  They asked us to try out trial app with tab for 1000.. But don't verify later if we are willing to continue. Directly you will get call from capital float asking for emi.. They never confirmed from me if I will opt to continue or cancel. I am house wife and got no source of income. They should have checked as its not small amount. Charging 78000 was too big to pay in emi for me.. I don't want any refund of 1000.. Please take it back as I am fed up of all calls happening..

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    This refers to trailing mails from My Wife Mrs. Vidya Adka since 22nd December, 2018 to you all requesting to cancel the Your Product Byju for 6th std... Mix board - CBSE and Maharashtra board and tp take back the Lenova Tablet supplied by you.

                                    Mr. Shivam Sharan, Senior Educational Counsellor who has visited our home in the 1st Week of December, 2018 to brief about your product. During his conversation he has promised us that we can cancel this product anytime during 5 years tenure and take out the refund whatever applicable that time. First of all he has not solved our querries in respect of English, Marathi, Hindi, history civics and geography subject inspite of mails from my wife. He has also promised us during his visit to our house that we can return the Tablet before 15 days anytime by contacting him and he will support all the time. But when we mailed regarding other subjects he has not bothered do anything, accordingly we have decided to cancel this product and mailed him.

                                    But to our surprise he has not responded to my wife's mail and also her call. Is this the Service Your people give to your customers. Then my wife contacted Ms.Anasuya, from where also we have not received the positive response.

                                    Now once again I request through this mail to collect the Tablet Lying at our home immediately by returning an amount of Rs.3000/- and also instruct your finance Company not Debit ECS on 2nd February, 2019.

                                    If this issue is not settled amicablly, we have to stop the ECS payment and may have to approach the concerned Consumer Protection Cell to claim our right. Please also train your representative to not to give false promises to Customers just to achieve their Sales Targets. Kindly also give us your MD/Director's or any Higher authorities E-mail IDs so that we can put this case infront of them.

                                      I had purchased byjus product for my son in july2018. I have already paid 5 emi 's for it. Now due to medical issues my son is not able to use it and he has changed his stream of subjects. I have sent all medical documents n asked for refund but they r not interested. Such a inhumane reels they have. Even on medical grounds that r not ready cancel it. Really disgusting.

                                        Purchased byjus learning course for my kid for grade8-grade 12th. The payment of rs83300 was made using my citibank credit card. Byjus team (Shubham chaudhary, syed najamul saqib) told me that they would get this converted into 24 instalments at 0% interest. However this turned out to be incorrect. They never called the bank nor updated me that i was supposed to get this converted. After following up they said it was me who was supposed to call the bank and get this converted into 24 instalments and that the interest amount statement from the bank had to be shared with byjus team and byjus would refund the interest amount charged by citibank. The refund would be done between 5-10 working days was the promise made by byjus team. This happened on 2th dec. On 2nd jan2019 i shared the bank interest statement of amount to rs25144.50/ that was supposed to be refunded. It is 3rd of feb and i am still awaiting the refund. Byjus team neither picks up my calls nor replies to my mails. I have been following up for my money since 15 days but it is of no avail. I feel cheated by byjus team.
