Dear All,
I would like to share my experience about club mahindra holidays which I just recently encountered at their Gurgaon DT megamall office.

I was called and informed that I win a gift voucher of Rs 18000/-+Jewellery coupon worth Rs 5000/-+2 PVR Tickets.Since I was nearby and already knew that these kind of ponzy & fraudulent lucky draw are being run by reputed companies like club mahindra resorts.I was already prepared for their ponzy schemes.I thought no harm in giving it a try .

At the enterance I am made to fill a form which required basic details.I deliberately left blank column for Mail ID which they fill on their own which of course was not correct.They ven didn't bother to check mail ID from me..After attending presentation for 45 mins which was completely sugar coated and full of complete bio data of Sales representative and club mahindra At the end they told me that since I have already won the gift voucher but do I like to scribe for any other scheme starting Rs 3lacs?

I smiled at sales representative face and said straight forward NO.Even I told him that I don't want your free vouchers and was about to leave the place.Immediately his boss came with vouchers and with plastic smile on his face handed me over gift vouchers.

Since wrong mail ID was mentioned so my registration could not be completed and stopped me encashing gift vouchers. On writing to them to correct my mail ID they straight away refused.These fake lucky draws are actually a process of elimination which club mahindra uses to filter innocent customers.Had I subscribed to their Rs 3lac scheme they could have offered me the moon.

Request everyone to beware of TIME SHARE schemes run by any company.Its better to plan on your own.Everything is available on Google.You can check for tariffs of hotel,mode of transport etc etc..This way you will be saved of feeling guilty of your decision of choosing Time share company.

One more point I would like to add that these fake lucky draws has club mahindra management approval that's why complaints are coming from PAN India.

Would request everyone If by any chance you are thinking of joining any time share company THINK TWICE..

Request everyone that whomsoever is reading this Complaint ensure to share this with atleast 10 more people.Use Facebook,Linkdin or other social medias to let max people know what is in store for them if they visit Club mahindra holiday marketing offices.

Also avoid giving details to any club mahindra holiday representatives those you can found at Petrol pumps,Malls or nearby markets.I filled up the form on continous pestering by representative and also on being told that his job is at stake.He needs to fill certain no of forms today.Such a inhuman treatment is being given to their workforce by Clu Mahindra..

I have done my bit and going to submit this case study to top B-Schools so as to publicize these fradulent practices.

Club Mahindra — Beware of Club Mahindra

I enrolled Club Mahindra Membership last year Aug'09. There was a special one day offer from Club Mahindra that if I singed same day, I get Tag Huer watch. I enrolled it.

Its more than 11 Months now, I havent received promised Tag Huer watch. I have been comminicating with Club Mahindra regularly. Experience has been very frustrating. I have had at least 15 communications.

Now club Mahindra wants to offer 20000 Rs gift voucher & Tag Huer watch cost 53000. What a offer 20000 against 53000 !!!

Do not enroll wih Club Mahindra, they make all fake promises...

Can somebody tell me how can I get this resolved?

Rightly said by aggrieved customer.These companies should be taught lesson by avoiding them

    I have enrolled for Club Mahindra membership on 08-Sep-2012 by paying Rs 22400 for your white card membership as down payment with 48 further EMIs Via application form number Jun/2012/0418 from below office-

    L-1, 43, Ground Floor, Centerstage Mall, Sector-18, Noida, UP

    So they have offered me few additional holidays as same day sign-up bonus which I can avail after paying 3 EMIs( Rs 7626 each) , offers are given below
    1) 1 week worldwide holiday
    2) 4N/5D holiday in India
    3) 7000 RCU
    4) 15000 Cash back ( 7500 already deducted from Down payment and 7500 will be paid via cheque after 3 EMI payment)

    But very day 09-Sep-2012 I realized that I won't be able to avail any offer or holidays due to family or official responsibilities, So I visited the above office on 09-Sep-2012 and requested to cancel my membership/enrollment but they simply denied to cancel the enrollment and said even if I cancel the membership now I will not get my hard earned money back which is Rs 22400. But the form I signed states that I can cancel the membership within 10 days and money will be reimbursed.

    Since then I am constantly following up with these guys and even contacted Bhikaji Branch office of Delhi but not getting any responses. Bhikaji office representative is asking me to wait for Welcome call and Noida office representative are forcing me to take a holiday to experience the club mahindra but I am not interested in that.

    Now I am felling trapped and helpless as neither noida or Bikaji branch people seem to help me.

    I am expecting a prompt action from your side to sort out this matter and keep the integrity of your company in which I believed and enrolled but now I have starting loosing that believe and hopefully you can help me to keep the trust.

      Was induced into buying mahindra holiday by INDORE SALES TEAM on 10 june2012( 1 day best offer) Paid 20900 as down payment for WHITE STUDIO. MEMBERSHIP NO 2429082
      mentioned that ( 1)there was no cancellation charges( only 1 nt retention in case of no show)
      (2) when booking for both white and red season I could book 6 mths in advance but would get only 5 nt in red season instead of 7 nt in white.
      on 24 jun received welcome call and came to know that cancellation rules state that all nighta are lost if cancelled less than 7 dy in advance.
      after 3-4 dys received membership card and brochure. Realised that red season booking only 15 dys in advance and all school holiday in red season.My kg class daughter prevents me from availing non school vacation time as holiday for next 12 years. Holiday inpeak holiday scool vacation times cannot be planned 15 dys in advance considering train booking advance open 4 mths before.
      on 4 july sent mail that i want to terminate membership
      Refused refund that I had not informed wthjin 10 dys of Downpayment .Coerced to take red season which i cannot afford.
      when wrong information given by sales team when downpayment taken how can 10 day rule be valid
      PUNISH INDORE MAHINDRA SALES TEAM AND REFUND MY DOWNPAYMENT. I WILL RETURN THE UNUSED GIFT( TRAVELLING BAG AND 5 NT STAY AND 3000 WORTH FOOD COUPONS)

        Sub: Complaint about extreme ill treatment meted out to me at Naukuchiatal, Dancing Waters Resort by Mr. Manish.

        Dear Sir/Ma’am,

        I write to you to complain about the most ill, harsh and disrespectful treatment meted out to my family members, friends and me by Mr. Manish of your Naukuchiatal, Dancing Waters Resort.

        Recently, one, Mr. Ajay Singh (telephone no: [protected]),Akhand Pratap Singh and Mr. Abhijeet of your Lucknow office, who offered me to become a member of your reputed club/resorts, contacted me. Upon inquiring about the terms and conditions, Mr. Ajay Singh told me that I would have to make a down payment of Rs. 48,542/- and after which I will be given a 12-night free stay at your Resorts and air tickets worth Rs. 15,000/- and the rest of the payment can be made after 18 months after using this free offer of 12 nights . As I found the offer attractive, I myself and my other 2 friends also took your membership and was given the ID Card, ID being: 2392470. We have a duly signed agreement with these marketing persons.

        Thereafter, my family members, friends and I planned to visit Naukuchiatal. I made several calls to Mr. Singh and also to other concerned persons but got no response.

        As we have already planned the trip, we went to Naukuchiatal and reached your Resort to avail the free stay promised by Mr. Singh. On enquiring about availability of rooms, Mr. Chandan(receptionist) of your Resort told me that one room was available and he showed us the room(room no. 210). We decided to take it and left the kids and ladies there to look for more rooms in nearby hotels.

        When we came back Mr. Manish told us that we couldn’t be given the room because I have not paid the next installment of the scheme. I accepted to pay the amount demanded by him but instead of it he cursed marketing staff .Thereafter, he started misbehaving with us in front of the kids and ladies. He started shouting at us for using the toilet of the room that he had shown us. Thereafter, we left your Resort in disgust.

        The language of Mr. Manish was highly objectionable. He showed zero courtesy. Even none of your staff members offered us a glass of water . Such behaviour on the part of Mr. Manish defamed my friends and me in the eyes of our kids and wives. It ruined our entire vacation. Such behaviour is totally unacceptable.

        I am a reputed businessman of foam and furnishing at Bareilly and I have people like Mr. Manish on my payroll. I feel really disgusted about going to your Resort and also about taking your membership in the first place. After this incident I regret taking your membership and I am seriously considering that I should revoke it.

        Therefore, kindly take this matter very seriously and advise me regarding the future course of action.

        An early reply in this regard would be highly appreciated.

          To Whom It May Concern:-

          Respected Sir/ Mam,

          Today, i.e on 11/08/2012,I received a call form Club Mahindra (Moti Nagar, New Delhi ).( Tel :-[protected]) Some guy named Ashutosh told me about winning 2N/3D vacation with Club Mahindra along with 2 movie Tickets @ PVR Cinemas and asked me to collect the tickets + voucher from Club Mahindra’s Office in West Gate Mall,Rajouri Garden,New Delhi @ 6 PM.

          To which I agreed and was all set to go and collect the voucher, and then while I was on my way to go to this place to collect the same I received the call again ( Tel :-[protected]) some female this time, telling me that the age limit to be able to collect the voucher is 29 Yrs and stopped me from coming to the office.

          I was totally astonished @ this as I had given them my D.O.B before that guy Ashutosh had fixed the appointment @ 6 PM.

          I got frustrated and asked her why did not Mr. Ashutosh inform me the same before asking me to come to the office and when I am on my way to Club Mahindra’s Office ( Rajouri Garden ) taking out time from my schedule and spending the money on Gas you are informing me this.

          Anyhow, I just asked for her name, so that I could complain the same on higher level and How nice of her,she just hung up the phone.

          I called back to the same number and this time Mr. Abhishek answered, He was courteous enough to tell me the name of the lady who hung up, Ms. Kavita Sharma,where as when I demanded to talk to her or Mr.Ashutosh(who had called me initially),so that I Could ask them why did not they inform for the age criteria beforehand he simply said, they are not interested in talking to me and hung up.

          I mean, I was already frustrated to whatever was going on these people inviting me to collect the voucher and cancelling the appointment at the last minute( that to when I am on my way to their office) telling me about the age criteria..
          I mean why did they even fix the appointment at first.

          After all this, I tried calling again and demanded to talk to the Supervisor over there, to which Mr. Abhishek answered again asked me to hold on again and disconnected the call on my face again.

          Next time Ms.Kritika answered and hung up Again.

          I tried calling both the numbers a numerous times and these people over there would answer the call and hang up without even talking or I must say without even uttering a word.

          At last, After numerous attempts a lady answered when asked for her name , she resisted and asked me to go ahead and do whatever I Can ( She literally said:-:If you have guts do whatever you want ) and hung up again.

          This hanging up of phone was irritating and frustrating already, thanks to all these people for making it more special ,called again just wanted to speak to supervisor to let him know about the same, This time some Mr, Ram answered ,and he was perhaps speaking the same way as the lady earlier.
          (You can Do whatever You want ).

          This is the way Club Mahindra works. This is perhaps most unethical and unprofessional way any company would deal with anyone.
          People working at their call centers are totally stupid and who do not even know what they are doing.

          I mean instead of apologizing for their deeds what they do is disconnect the calls and challenge other people.

          Common I am not interested in your free voucher no more but at least talk in a professional way and apologize for what you did ,fixed appointment cancel at last minute.
          Guess that would really hurt. Right?

          But seriously this is not done ,very rude ,unprofessional people you guys got working for you.

          Hope someone would see this here and see what can be done about it.
          Also Other people would get aware of Club Mahindra’s Doings.
          P.S:- Both the number mentioned above are of the same office i.e Club Mahindra, Telecaller Department located in Moti Nagar,New DeLhi )

            Was promised promotional offer of a apple i pad and once registered did not bother to revert .After repeated follow up sent a mail that the item was dispatched to be delivered by the courier but did not get delivered for inexplicable reasons . No mention of why it was not delivered no courier bill details mentioned No track of the courier and no revert No follow up till date
            They continued to offer this as a promotional item while the product / version was withdrawn it is a clear con game

              I was fooled by Club Mahindra's sales people at ghatkopa, mumbai who misled me in buying the product without giving me sufficient time to consider the pros and cons about the product. After showing me the video and explaning the features about the product they told me to make the instant decision about buying then and there and relying on the brand image and brand value of Mahindra group i took the decision of buying the membership. To may utter shock and dismay the sales persons did not explain me or give idea about the ASF payment every year while buying the membership. It was later after i made the initial payment for membership and i got the welcome kit containing unilateral forced terms and conditions i came to know about the ASF payment to be made every year. At the end of it i feel like i have been conned.

              Form the date of buying i.e. August, 2008 till today i have not utilised even a single day of holiday in club mahindra because of non availabilty. so far i have paid around Rs. 170,000/- towards the membership.

              Now after completion of 3 years of membership, my 7 days of inventory has been lapsed, meaning i have not utilised the 7 days of Club Mahindra product i.e. lapse of 1 year of holiday from the alloted 25 years. In this scenario, i fail to understand how i am liable to pay the Annual subscription fee for that particular year for which i did not utilised any of Club Mahindra's inventory. Therefore, i humbly requested them either to re-credit my inventory or waive the Annual subscription fees for one year of lapsed inventory.

              However, they are not agreeing for either of request.

              I fail to understand How club maindra are justifed in claiming ASF from the member, when he has not utilised the inventory.

                No refund issued for the Cancellation Request no.-036-674 even after more than 3 months have elapsed. Member ID-2412917. All phone calls and emails are going unheard. The staff at Pitampura branch (the Meenakshi's and the Anjali's) are all lying by saying we'll get back to you but no body will get back.

                Club Mahindra — No refund after 3 months

                I have applied for the cancellation of membership. I applied for the cancellation in month of December 08. At the time of filling cancellation request, company gave me time of 30-45 working days.

                After repeated calling also the matter is not sort out at their end, Its being almost 3 months I am taking panic just because of all this.

                Please suggest how to move further to take legal action against Club Mahindra.

                  Hotel Flora a property of club Mahindra holidays is a very nice property. It is located at a distance of 22 kilometres from the airport. Railway station is about 5 kilometres from the hotel I had checked out a couple of Club Mahindra reviews before I set out for Udaipur. The reviews also have pictures of Hotel Flora and I can say that the actual site matched my expectations. The hotel is very nice and the staff members are very well trained. I found the staff members at the hotel very polite and courteous. My room was nice and comfortable although the AC in my room was a bit noisy but overall the room was comfortable. Food served was good and I enjoyed it very much. The location of the hotel is not good as there is no view nearby. Otherwise everything about the hotel is very nice. They arranged nice activities to pass the time. Though the location is slightly away from the city, it is peaceful and all tourist destinations are just 10 kilometres away. Celebration Mall is nearby and has all the modern facilities that you may be looking for. The rooms are tastefully decorated with TV, Refrigerator and electric kettle in each room. On the whole I had a nice trip.

                      Club Mahindra Membership — Refund on cancellation of membership

                      Membership period - 01/05/2009 - 30/04/2034.

                      I got the membership certificate issued on 22/04/2008 after i paid downpayment of Rs. 19500. From May/ 2008 onwards (inclusive), i am paying emi of Rs. 3203 till date.

                      if we take that till January/2009, i pay emi, total amount in terms of emi paid = (9 months x Rs 3203) Rs 28827.

                      Total money i put in = 19500 + 28827 = Rs 48327.

                      When i asked them, how should i get my money refunded if i cancel my membership, they say bluntly there is no refund. i am worried a lot, as i can not pay future emi's due to my financial inability reasons. please help me out, if possible.

                        I just purchased a new Scorpio September 2011 and it has already broken down. The Clutch Paddle has gone free. I came to the office in the morning (it was fine then) and in the evening the clutch paddle had gone free…just like that. The clutch problem started 2-3 months after the purchase…getting stuck for 2-3 seconds while driving. I got its 1st service done on time on 3rd Feb 2012 and informed them about the problem as well for which I was assured the correct measures have been taken. I have heard that this is an usual problem occurring with almost 75 percent of the Scorpios. I hope you people at Mahindra take proper measure for this. I dont think after this incident I will suggest anyone to buy this car.

                          I have recieved SMS & phone call of Club Mahindra's free coupans for 3 day/ 2 night without any charges just to attend their product discription/scheme in Vashi Raghuleela Mall along with my wife.
                          When i spend 1 hr attending advetisement their product, after that their executive asked me @ membership responce i told right now i will not take it, he replied Club Mahindra will send free coupans on my mail id but never sent, this is real fraud.
                          Be-aware from Club Mahindra their wasting u'r time & money without giving any free coupans, i have their SMS for proof.
                          I want to take strict actions against Club Mahindra for fooling public. PLEASE HELP ME.

                          Today, i.e on 11/08/2012, I received a call form Club Mahindra (Moti Nagar, New Delhi ).( Tel :-[protected]) Some guy named Ashutosh told me about winning 2N/3D vacation with Club Mahindra along with 2 movie Tickets @ PVR Cinemas and asked me to collect the tickets + voucher from Club Mahindra’s Office in West Gate Mall, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi @ 6 PM.

                          To which I agreed and was all set to go and collect the voucher, and then while I was on my way to go to this place to collect the same I received the call again ( Tel :-[protected]) some female this time, telling me that the age limit to be able to collect the voucher is 29 Yrs and stopped me from coming to the office.

                          I was totally astonished @ this as I had given them my D.O.B before that guy Ashutosh had fixed the appointment @ 6 PM.

                          I got frustrated and asked her why did not Mr. Ashutosh inform me the same before asking me to come to the office and when I am on my way to Club Mahindra’s Office ( Rajouri Garden ) taking out time from my schedule and spending the money on Gas you are informing me this.

                          Anyhow, I just asked for her name, so that I could complain the same on higher level and How nice of her, she just hung up the phone.

                          I called back to the same number and this time Mr. Abhishek answered, He was courteous enough to tell me the name of the lady who hung up, Ms. Kavita Sharma, where as when I demanded to talk to her or Mr.Ashutosh(who had called me initially), so that I Could ask them why did not they inform for the age criteria beforehand he simply said, they are not interested in talking to me and hung up.

                          I mean, I was already frustrated to whatever was going on these people inviting me to collect the voucher and cancelling the appointment at the last minute( that to when I am on my way to their office) telling me about the age criteria..
                          I mean why did they even fix the appointment at first.

                          After all this, I tried calling again and demanded to talk to the Supervisor over there, to which Mr. Abhishek answered again asked me to hold on again and disconnected the call on my face again.

                          Next time Ms.Kritika answered and hung up Again.

                          I tried calling both the numbers a numerous times and these people over there would answer the call and hang up without even talking or I must say without even uttering a word.

                          At last, After numerous attempts a lady answered when asked for her name, she resisted and asked me to go ahead and do whatever I Can ( She literally said:-:If you have guts do whatever you want ) and hung up again.

                          This hanging up of phone was irritating and frustrating already, thanks to all these people for making it more special, called again just wanted to speak to supervisor to let him know about the same, This time some Mr, Ram answered, and he was perhaps speaking the same way as the lady earlier.
                          (You can Do whatever You want ).

                          This is the way Club Mahindra works. This is perhaps most unethical and unprofessional way any company would deal with anyone.
                          People working at their call centers are totally stupid and who do not even know what they are doing.

                          I mean instead of apologizing for their deeds what they do is disconnect the calls and challenge other people.

                          Common I am not interested in your free voucher no more but at least talk in a professional way and apologize for what you did, fixed appointment cancel at last minute.
                          Guess that would really hurt. Right?

                          But seriously this is not done, very rude, unprofessional people you guys got working for you.

                          Hope someone would see this here and see what can be done about it.
                          Also Other people would get aware of Club Mahindra’s Doings.
                          P.S:- Both the number mentioned above are of the same office i.e Club Mahindra, Telecaller Department located in Moti Nagar, New DeLhi )

                            I purchased a Mahindra Xylo E4 2010. First serveice was in my nearest place Kottayam. We cannot satisfy that service. so I changed my service to Kochi. they are correctly service my vehicle... from Mahindra & Mahindra call me and the authorized persons asked why are you shifted the service to Kochi.and I replied my complaints. they told me that they will direct to rectify that complaints.Then the Kottayam service centre shifted to Thellakom. I think it will be better than earlier, After my 7th service in Kottaym, I refused. vehicle stopped several times. after running, cannot start the vehicle. after about an hour it will start... no of complaints increased. we lost the confidence in TVS and mahindra.

                              I won a free holiday coupon for 3 days and 2 nights, for which I was said to collect thee voucher and certificate from thee Goregaon Hub mall. I went to thee mall on 29the April 2012, and was given thee voucher and said theat theey would courier me thee certificate at my home place to which it was informed to theem theat we would be available only on weekends as we are working. The club Mahindra people assured me theat it would be taken care off and delivered on weekends only.

                              The certificate didn't reach me for 2 weeks, i followed up withe theem. i talked to Mr. Saurabh who connected me to Rana Rajput for thee same. Mr. Rajput assured me theat he would definitely get it dispatched on thee coming weekend, but he didn't and when I called him up he talked very rudely to me stating theat he could courier a single consignment just for my sake and if I wanted thee certificate I have to come to Hub Mall and collect thee certificate, so I again talked to Mr. Saurabh who again assured me theat he would take care theat thee certificate is dispatched to me and said me to talks to Mr. Rajput again. When I talked to him again he was very rude and started abusing me. To my surprise when I said him to talk politely he said theat he knew what he was saying and was polite.

                              I feel cheated and feel sorry for Mahindra group for having such a man force.

                                Useless people working at Club Mahindra. Seems its useless posting this complaint as tere will be no action but still feel necessary to post.

                                My hubby and myself were invited for a seminar at Goregaon Club Mahindra. We were committed, we would be getting movie ticket vouchers and stay voucher (discounted rates) for Club Mahindra. On wasting 1 hour, we were promised we will be getting the vouchers through courier within 2 weeks. Almost 6 months we have not yet received any courier.

                                We have been following up on calls continuuously for days (wasting money on calls), as we had found it quiet ok to check on it. We have also complined to the Seniors in Goregaon branch. They too seems they have no interest in customers. Infact they are only waiting to earn incomes, achiee their targets and earn incentives.

                                Regarding this issue, we have co-ordinated to 5/6 staff members, but useless. We have got responses that the same was despatched through courier several times. But on asking the courier name, there would be no answer and the phone was disconnected.

                                In one sentence, BAD SERVICE, NO RESPONSES, NO INTEREST BY THE STAFF even after several follow ups. The staff working there are only there to convince customers by meaning : "SORRY, WE CANNOT HELP YOU."

                                  I was called & invited with family by Club mahindras office at centrestage mall at Noida, U.P on 17/02/2012. After a luring session of courteous display of hospitality and impressive display of the club mahidra ownership benefits we were asked to opt for purchasing the same on the spot in liew of an attractive early bird prize. We paid a downpayment of Rs. 27500/- through our debit card. but back at home when I searched for the pros & cons at internet I was shocked to see enormous no of complaints regarding non availability of rooms and so many people virtually cheated in the same way as we were, We decided not to purchase the said membership and submitted our written request on 22/02/2012, well within the freelook / Rescission period of 10 days. But since then we have not received our payment back despite several mails and sending copy of our purchase letter and Account statement clearly showing the payment from our account to clubmahindra's account. Please do the needful so that we get our payment back at the earliest
