LET US JOIN HANDS TO EXPOSE CLUB MAHINDRA FRAUD.....

Like you all, I am also a Victim of Club Mahindra fraud. If I start giving details of their attitude and behavior, this space will not be enough. So, I am collecting the details of the victimized clients from the various forums, who have been fooled by Club Mahindra and their "SO-CALLED NICE EXECUTIVES" and got trapped in to their false luring offers and are now not getting their money back after feeling cheated. I am planning to expose their fraud in a big way in the news papers and electronic media. As we all have experienced, voicing and venting our frustration individually will not serve any purpose, as you must have seen Club Mahindra Executives give only assurances and nothing else. We will expose each and every connected Club Mahindra Executive with their names and locations. Let us join hands and bring their real face to the world. I request you all to give me your name and contact nos. I give mine below:

    Harassed by Club Mahindra:

    A month back I saw an advertisement of ClubMahindra Holidays (CMS) in one of the news papers. This made me call CMH and inquire about the membership. On the very same day I had a representative from ClubMahindra come to my residence discuss the membership. The purpose of getting this membership was to avail an international holiday option that was scheduled in December 2010.

    The name of the sales executive who came for the meeting was Anurag Srivastava. I explained my requirements and gave him the dates when I wished to travel for my holiday, to which he agreed and mentioned that I wont be having any issues with the reservations. This period would be September 2010. My travel period and location preference is as follows:

    Date: 17-Dec-2010 till 01-Jan-2011

    Place: Malaysia & Bali (Indonesia)

    During the meeting Anurag mentioned that the resorts offered by ClubMahindra are at least Four Star (****) properties at all locations. Later he did offer me a membership from RCI for a period of 2 years at not cost (Inclusive with the ClubMahindra Package). Even for RCI he mentioned that the properties with RCI are either 4 star (****) or Five Star (****) properties. I relied on his talks and went ahead with the membership. After our discussion I filled in few forms and paid the initial 10% to block my membership. He confirmed that he’ll get my membership done immediately if I make 50 % of the payments on an immediate basis. I made sure that I made the 50 % payment with a week or 2.

    On 01-Oct-2010 I received a mail from ClubMahindra stating my membership[protected] details and my offer details (membership details are attached for your reference). A week later I also received my membership details from RCI.

    Then came a real surprise when I called RCI to do my bookings for Malaysia, and when they mentioned that the resorts they have in that location are very standard resorts and not even the ones that can be rated a 2 star (**). I was taken aback and this made me contact ClubMahindra member relations team (Rupal-Member Relations Executive). The member relations team now mentions that RCI is not a member entity. It is no ways related to ClubMahindra. I tried to make her understand, however she was not ready to accept her mistake. To this I have the following questions:

    How can ClubMahindra sell RCI membership as a package deal if they do not take the responsibility of RCI?

    How can ClubMahindra talk about RCI plans or even RCI when they do not take any responsibility of RCI’s properties?

    Let me also tell you that the sales people associated with your Brand only pick up calls when they want to sell something. A member in need is of no importance to them. Anurag, failed to call me and failed to pick my calls at a number of instances. Even Rupal for that matter was of no good. I appreciate the fact that at least the RCI representative was honest enough to let me know about the resorts.

    I’m getting married in December 2010 and the package I had taken was towards my Honeymoon package. However due to such irresponsible people, my holidays have been ruined. The money that I had saved for my honeymoon is now invested in this useless package.

    I request you to kindly look into my case on a priority basis and relieve me from this membership. I would be obliged if my complete membership fee is returned. Till now I have not utilised anything and neither have I availed any free offers from ClubMahindra. I would also request you to kindly take necessary action against such people so that you don’t come across another Prashant Pandey. Till now I have paid more than INR 135,000 towards the ClubMahindra membership.

    Later I wrote to Mr. Ramanathan and his intervention atleast made the member relations team to give me a call and understand the issue. Later I received a call from Ms. Kainaz and Mr. Farook. They tried to convince me about this membership being good, but they failed to realise my situation at every instance. They were just trying to be the sales retension people. They later assured me to get back to me within the next 2 days.

    We had a talk on 01-Dec-2010 and then technically they should have reverted by 03-Dec-2010. However that did not happen and I gave a call on 07-Dec-2010. After calling them for more than 3 hours I got through Ms. Kainaz who very calmly informed me that they cannot provide me with a refund as the refund could only be claimed within 10 days of joining the membership.

    At the time of membership, I had asked them about the exit procedure to which Anurag replied that this situation would never come in as the services they offer are five star services. I hope that by now most of you would have understood what five star services are.

    I need your help and would request you all who have been treated like this to come forward and share your thoughts on how do we teach a lesson to these guys who talk aloud of their services at the time of sales and then disappear once the customer is in need.

      Club Mahidnra Resorts - Falling victim to greed and very poor management and vision, absolutely pathetic offering from a respected and trusted corporate house of India, Mahindra and Mahindra group:

      Been a member since 2006, following drawbacks to be reported, hope the compnay management takes notice:
      - they seem to be focused only on registering new members without adding new capacity, absolutely poor service and availability of rooms to existing members,
      - exhorbitnant charges for food and annual maintenance fees
      - the resorts are in remote places with poor connectivity and in far flung places, very expensive from transpotation, food and other expenses
      - lack of transparency on utilization, new capacity being added, members unable to book rooms,
      - for 7 days vacation, they have availability that requires travel to 3 resorts spread across 3 states with gaps in dates in between
      - though they cant offer room, they go on lapsing the days accumulated beyond the stimpulated limit,
      - THIS HAPPENS ONLY IN INDIA where GULLIBLE CUSTMERS HAVE NO RESOURSE BUT TO SUFFER IN SILENCE
      - IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED, I AM WILLING TO SELL MY MEMBERSHIP, I HAVE 25 DAYS OF INVENTORY AND ALL MEMBERSHIP DUES PAID

        Hi,

        I want to raise cheating case from club mahindra.

        I am a member of club mahindra on 2006 - Membership id - 228430.

        Down Payment Details - 190362/- rupees i paid

        Executive told if you are not using leave then we can sell and will give you that amount.

        Without informing me these people lapsed my Inventory for 7 days on 2007 ( Before lapsed they have not updated me )

        Even they lapsed 7 days leave on 2007 even they are asking me to pay for that year.

        Again they are asking Annual Subscription Fee Payable every year.
        When ever you will call for reservation (one ans you will get - there is no vacancy )

        Even they are not giving me to cancel membership and get refund back my money.

        So please help me to handle Club mahindra.

        You are in trap now. Nobody can save you. The only thing you can do is spread the awareness amongst the friends/relatives/public not to get in to this trap like you. In the next 1 or 2 days one person from Club mahindra will post message just below my message "we will address your concern". All the best.

              During Durgapuja festival in October 2010, Club Mahindra agents invited us over telephone for a free accomodation in their resorts. On 9th Oct 2010, I with my husband visited their venue at Big Bazar, Hiland Park, Kolkata. Following their verbal commitments I applied for a membership on the sme day paying Rs.16031.00 thru credit card. I had insisted them to take a/c payee cheque in this regard but they did not agree.

              After returning home I searched their offer in the net and found several complaints against them. I became very much affraid and submitted with them a cancellation letter on 10th October 2010 and sought refund of initial membership fees.

              After contineous followups with their Mr Ahmed (venue manager) over telephone he evaded the matter in any way or other. Finally on 8th November 2010 Mr Ahmed advised me to submit a fresh letter of cancellation for resons best known to him.
              However, having no other alternative I submitted with them a fresh letter mentioning all the previous references.

              On 15th November2010, I again contacted Mr Ahmed and came to know that My letter of cncellation has been forwarded to their Kolkata Office at Kasba area and
              for future enquiry I will have to contact their. I then contacted Mrs Paramita (Kasba office) over phone and I knew that the said letter was not availabe with them at Kasba office.

              After repeated requests to Mr Ahmed finally Mrs Paramita admitted that she received my letter of cancellation on 16th November 2010 and logged in for cancellation. As per Mrs Paramita this cancellation will take minimum 30 working days to take effect.

              View above I would request you to kindly help me in this regard.

              since 3rd May 3012 by sending a letter and mail on 24th may I m askng for withdrawl of membership n to refund the DP Rs. 30000/- but has not recd. favourable reply from MHRIL.I recd. a mail from MRCM that Mr. Rudra Shanker will contact me n resolve the problem but no fruitful result found so far. I m seeing that most of the members facing problem from MHRIL and cheated by the company for one or other reason.
              As per terms of co. this refund was to be made within the month of May 2012. But they are passing and not refunding the payment as assured at the time of booking.

                This is wrt my several trials ending in hard luck to procure a holiday for my family. I am a red studio member & have tried to book my holidays since the last more than 18 months but to no avail. I tried to know the reason why instead of so many resorts there are problems. I recently got the answer. It seems CM take corporate bulk bookings from several corporates. These corporate bookings allotted to corporate are recurring business in nature & hence lucrative. We as members are considered to be temporary money pullers for CM because after the membership amount is paid, its only the Annual maintenance service charge which they look forward to, which is peanuts to them. I tried to book a apartment in Goa 3 months back but the online booking window showed housefull during most of October 2010. nearly about 45 days one of my ex colleagues working with Standard Chartered Bank booked an apartment in the same resort for almost the same duration & got the booking confirmed. This is an unfair trade practice by CM & should be stopped immediately. How can you let your customer suffer by not letting the apartment which is the customers right & allott it to a corporate who buys bulk booking from you, for you to announce a houseful sign even before the online booking go up. It seems these corporates together help generate a scarcity of bookings. I think CM needs to choose between individuals customers OR corporate bulk bookings. Why cannot we get a booking in the prepaid holiday week for the next 25 years?

                  During my recent vacation at Thekkady (August 3rd week 2010), I was asked to pay Rs 90000 for an upgrade of my membership by a guy called N Shad from Club Mahindra. He gave me 3 complementaty upgrade coupons as an added benefit for signing up (and coughing up 90000) for the upgrade. After few weeks I tried to use the coupons only to find all three were invalid. When I called him, Shad N gave all kinds excuses and said he cannot help any more. After paying 90,000 for an upgrade and having to pay another extra 4000 for the remaining 21 years, all I got was 3 expired certificates. I am very disgusted with CM and its way of scheming money from people with the help o[censored]nethical and despicable marketing people. I request others to be very careful before paying money to Club Mahindra and extremely careful with crook rascals like Shad N

                    I had taken membership by signing the application form on 16/06/2010 by filling the application at the Vasai office of Club Mahindra Resorts , And I was promised for a free gift of 32 " Toshiba LCD TV on signing up of the application . It is understood that it will take atleast 15 working days for the despatch of the free gift . On enquiring after One month , i was informed by Mr. KiranKumar Gupta that they had promised to issue the gift after clearance of the Three ECS payments which I was not informed earlier on signing of the Application . It is clearly mentioned on every advertisement in Newspaper and on Website as on today also . So I hereby state that I have misguided and cheated by the Vasai office representatives .
                    So I request the Club Mahindra Holidays & Resorts to cancel my membership and refund me the full amount paid by me or else I shall file the petition with the Consumer court , Mumbai .
                    As the said terms and conditions for the free gift and misguidance process has been used by the representatives .

                    STAY AWAY from the company Club Mahindra... I am a (un-happy) member too, even after paying so much, I do not get my holidays, they ask us to plan 6 months in advance, all services in their resorts are to be paid extra, dining charges are too high, ASF (annual subscription fees) to be paid extra each year in addition to membership fees (the ASF charges increase every year), not all resorts have kitchenettes... long list of issues which the management doesn;t care for, all they want is to make new members.                     Indira - please stop posting the same old lines on all the complaints, whatever the resolution, please post it here so that everyone should know what CM is doing for the complaints.

                      I have taken the Club Mahindra 1BH Red membership a year back, paying about Rs.4.75L. I could not book any holiday till now as resorts were not available whenever I tried. Even the one they offered as complimentary was not a pleasant stay anyway. I have been trying to get my membership cancelled for couple of weeks now - all this while it was kind of sweet talk from their various call center folks - but today I had the shock of my life when one Sandeepan Panick, a member relationship executive from their Bangalore office told me that 60% of the amount I have paid (which is about Rs.3L) is non refundable and balance 40% will be adjusted against RCI membership and "free gifts" provided. (I have asked him to send out a mail detailing this)

                      Looking at several similar complaints against club mahindra, I think all o[censored]s should come together and create awareness among the public, so that people do not loose their hard earned money this way! We may have to run some eye catchy counter advertsiments and get into some legal discussions and so on.. please feel free and send me your thoughts, suggestions and comments. Those who are keen to explore possible options - do share your co-ordinates.

                      STAY AWAY from the company Club Mahindra... I am a (un-happy) member too, even after paying so much, I do not get my holidays, they ask us to plan 6 months in advance, all services in their resorts are to be paid extra, dining charges are too high, ASF (annual subscription fees) to be paid extra each year in addition to membership fees (the ASF charges increase every year), not all resorts have kitchenettes... long list of issues which the management doesn;t care for, all they want is to make new members.                         Cancellation request (transaction details given below):
                        1) We signed up for and payed a 10% down payment for Club Mahindra holidays on 24 Oct 2010. The Credit card transaction for the down payment of Rs. 26,570 was processed around 18:25 p.m. of 24 Oct 2010.

                        2) Immediately after the representative left our residence, my mother informed us of a call whereby my father needs money for multiple surgeries to his eyes and for cysts. We are a newly engaged couple (legally married, but church marriage pending) and are building our home - with the home loan EMI, home expenses, and our basic minimum monthly savings, we could only just afford the membership we paid for. We would not be able to support my father also.

                        3) So we immediately called back the Club Mahindra representative Arsheen Khan and explained the situation. She put us on call with her supervisor Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy. He tried his best to convince us that we should continue with 3 EMI payments and then discontinue - but there is no way we can afford this. So we requested him to please cancel the membership and refund our money. As per clause 6 of their Terms and Condition, within 10 days of down payment we are allowed to withdraw the membership application and are entitled to a full refund of the fees paid towards membership. And that we should give this request in writing. They have not informed where we should send this request in writing and the representative Arsheen and Jayant refused to accept the written request.

                        4) Mr. Jayant and Ms. Arsheen then informed us that: since they gave us a sign on gift (which we neither asked for and did NOT specifically request for) we are now under some Special Membership package and the terms and conditions in the membership form that we signed are not entirely applicable to us - i.e. the termination clause is not applicable to us. And they have refused to cancel the membership and refund our amount. Further they have told us that the only way we can close this membership is by paying 3 months EMI - and after that applying for a cancellation of membership. This is not documented anywhere

                        5) We do not believe what they have told us. We are legally bound only by the paper we signed and the terms and conditions on that paper is what is applicable to us. How can they apply some other rules to us. They took our money by committing what we signed and agreed to on that application form.

                        6) We want our money back - it is our hard earned money. We need that money - it is only a matter of bad timing and losing out on that sale for them. For us it is the start of our life. How can I even enjoy a holiday that I cannot afford and why should I pay for it. To pay them in our helpless situation and still support my father's surgery, I will have to work overtime along with my husband for the next year. What holiday will I enjoy then?

                        7) Please note that nowhere have they given us or informed us during the demo of what is the breakup of this down payment of Rs. 26, 570. As a consumer, I have not used any thing about this service. I have not enjoyed or availed a single benefit from Club Mahindra. The only effort they have put in is a sales demo initiated by them on their own - that too they persistently called my office number and convinced us to allow them to come and meet - PLUS she was late by 2.5 hours and requested us to meet with her since she came from Panvel to Kandivli. And thereafter she spent 15 mins filling the form and getting our moeny debited from the credit card. Surely we should not be charged any large processing fee of 40% or 60% for this? We have not consumed anything here.

                        8) I have been unable to sleep or eat since then - and then I read this forum. We have asked Mr. Jayant to meet us tomorrow at 11am - he said he has some Navi Mumbai meeting and will meet us only at 3:30 pm at his office in Solitaire Park. After reading this post we are sure he will continue to delay the matter until 10 days are over. We will send a mail by an expensive courier to Chennai tomorrow morning so we get a proof of delivery and my husband, the co-applicant will submit the letter in hand tomorrow to Mr. Jayant or whichever representative he meets at Club Mahindra office and will try to reason with them. But we are very scared that we will lose our hard-earned money.

                        9) We have learned our lesson. Now on we will only deal in cheques and will never go for a scheme until we decide for a week. If we lose out on some stupid free gift offer so be it.

                        10) Can someone please please please help us get our money back ASAP. I need to pay for my father's surgery next week. I can take a loan this month - but will need to pay it back - and for that I need my money. I cannot pay the hospital bill and the Club Mahindra down payment bill and my home loan EMI at the same time - we are hard-working middle-class people. This is so wrong - we are within the 10 day cancellation grace period and Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy is mis-informing us that it is not applicable to us. I'm sure after 10 days we will be able to do nothing. And before that he will keep on making us dance around. After reading all these reviews I am so scared. Please help us.


                        Transaction details:

                        1) We, Josceline Anne Mascarenhas D'Costa (Mrs. Josceline D'Costa) and Mr. Glenn D'Costa purchased a Club Mahindra Membership (White Season - Studio) package on 24 October 2010.

                        2) The Credit Card transaction for a 10% down payment of Rs. 26,570.00 was initiated by the Club Mahindra Representative (Arsheen Khan, Executive Sales) who visited our home for a demo.

                        3) She also collected a cancelled cheque from us for deduction of EMI of Rs. 6,777.00 - which will be started from November 2010 as per her verbal communication, and will continue for a period of 48 months

                        4) In addition to the above transaction, she informed us that since we were among the first 25 to sign up for the deal, we had been awarded sign-on gifts of a Sony Bravia 22' color TV, and some additional domestic and international vacation days + a Rs.5000 food voucher.

                        I need my money back - please don't cheat us Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy and Ms. Arsheen. We signed on a paper that said we are entitled to a full refund if we cancel within 10 days. How can you lie to us like this? How can you openly tell us that the termination clause is not applicable to us - just to suit your convenience?

                        Even after we explained our desperate situation Ms. Arsheen was rude to us in our own house. She was only concerned that the sale going bad should not be held against her. Instead of helping us out - she spent 20 mins pleading with Mr. Jayant convincing him that the sale going bad is not her fault. And together they continued to lie and tell us there is no cancellation refund applicable to us. They never even informed us about the clause.

                        After I started crying and read the form in detail - I pointed out the termination clause - and then they came up with a new story saying it is not applicable to us
                        They made me beg for my own money in my own house. What sort of people are these? They have no ethics. Club Mahindra representatives will go to any extent to make a sale and meet a revenue target. They have no compassion, and Club Mahindra representatives are frauds and have no basic ethics. How can they say that I am not eligible for a termination clause that is part of the agreement terms and conditions we both signed. Ms. Arsheen and Me - both o[censored]s signed this.
                        Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy lied to us - he made up some story that the Club Mahindra termination clause is not applicable to us because they have highlighted us under the 1st 25 early bird members and therefore we are entitled to a Samsung LCD 22' inch TV and some other freebies. The total freebies come up to 17, 700 + 5000 + 14, 900. For this they want us to pay 3 more moths EMI... what part did they not understand? We are in a sudden family emergency - we will not even be able to do up our home, we will not even be able to afford our honeymoon... we need the money... and they want us to pay 3 more EMIs of Rs. 8, 000 each... are they mad?
                        Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy - Team Manager at Club Mahindra Holidays and Resorts - how do you sleep at night? If we tried something like this - cheating our customers - in our workplace - we would lose our jobs on so many counts. We would be black-listed in our industry and no one would hire us.

                        But you obviously have been promoted - I guess that speaks volumes on behalf of your organization. And given all the other comments I have seen on this site - all the other innocent people you have cheated and harassed - God help me. Maybe I will sell my wedding ring to pay you bloodsucking, lying thieves.

                        How can my husband and I even take leave and come tomorrow - let alone on all the days we expect you to make us dance by calling us to your office and avoiding us... we will put our jobs at risk also now...
                        Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy - Team Manager at Club Mahindra Holidays and Resorts - we are simple, hard-working people. We do not have the time and money to chase you.

                        This is our hard-earned money. Please give it back to us. Please do not make us run around for it. Please do not invent clauses that we never signed and were never informed about.

                        We were so excited to enjoy your Club facilities and in an instant we had to give this up because we suddenly were in an emergency situation. We had promised each other that we would take the package again when we were in a position to do so.

                        But instead o[censored]nderstanding our problem, you tried to cheat us. You lied to us about the termination policy.

                        Now we are so disgusted - we will never do business with you again. And we will carry the message to ALL our friends.

                        Congratulations, sir, on losing a customer forever in your bid to make a paltry 26, 570/- for Club Mahindra.

                        Believe me - if you try to steal from us anymore - and deduct anymore EMIs - we will cancel our credit cards, and will close that bank account... and will rebuild everything to keep you out.

                        If we don't get our money back from you nicely, we will leave no measure to make sure your company pays heavily for this. Of course, we are simple hard-working middle class people - so we will not resort to your unethical and illegal practices like you. But we will employ every legal method to bring you down for this.

                        And we will make sure EVERY SINGLE person on our social and professional networks knows what you have done to us...

                        Thank you for your reply - I sent that mail to Ms Indira at the address you suggested at 5:15 am and have received a system generated response for the same.

                        Will diligently follow up till this is sorted and trust to receive the same attention and action from your side. Bottomline being I want our hard-earned money back.

                        To everyone who has supported us on this forum, thought we owed it to you to send an update.

                        Firstly, we had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy. He tried his best like a true sales manager to ensure that we stayed on with the membership and re-listed the benefits for us - Club Mahindra is lucky to have such an aggressive and committed sales person. When we confirmed our decision to withdraw the application he tried to understand why we went for that package (because Ms. Arsheen initially gave us to understand that the free 3D-4N offer if taken from 10Jan onwards could be taken only within the White days and only after we took the plan and had the money transferred did she explain that we could have taken this free holiday on any days - if we knew this we would have taken the Blue package because the only immediate call to action for us was our honeymoon being sponsored). Anyway once he read our letter detailing the personal reason for withdrawal, he started to listen to our point of view.

                        Secondly:
                        1) Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy has accepted our written letters and confirmed with a company stamp and signature that he had accepted them. In these letters we have recounted our experience and asked him to forward to the correct department within Club Mahindra our request for application withdrawal and refund of down payment. We have also given a copy of the letter to him intended for the attention and action of Branch In-charge Mr. Rajeev Nair, further to an e-mail sent by me earlier today morning around 1-2am to Mr. Rajeev Nair. Separate Club Mahindra representatives have also written to us via e-mail twice today assuring us that action will be taken.
                        2) Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy has throughout our face-to-face discussion maintained that we will not be refunded the down payment as we were part of the 25 early bird consumers and therefore the termination clause is not applicable to us. And that this is because COA (cost of acquisition) is high for the early bird consumers and therefore it is a special package, and in event of cancellation they need to cover losses. (Here I beg to differ and argue - if we have left the slot vacant without consuming a single freebie, then there is another customer they can get. What COA is being recovered from us exactly? the justification provided does not make any professional, business, logical, or ethical sense. We just added to the MHRIL top line without being serviced on any count. That being said, a sales demo is an operational cost and translates into COA only if we sign up and stay members beyond the Rescission period. Otherwise, it's just an operational loss expense.)
                        3) Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy of Club Mahindra has also expressed that Ms. Arsheen would have never accepted our membership application if we had asked for some time or a day or two to think it over, because in their experience such clients are not stable and are prone to changing opinions. We explained that at the time of taking the membership application, we were certain we wanted it - but the sudden information about my father's surgery and the realization that we would no longer be able to afford this, changed our decision. We have no control over such situations and cannot be indirectly labeled as fickle consumers for this - that is very unfair. It is also a very personally implied statement. You will appreciate that in this situation, we expect Mr. Jayant to treat us professionally as he's doing his job, while we are seeking to retrieve our hard-earned money and our representing ourselves in an outside-employment situation.
                        4) Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy has also assured us that EMI ECS will not be activated further to our written request,
                        5) Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy has also assured us that he will forward our letter to the concerned department within MHRIL, who are empowered to make a decision about return of funds on withdrawal of CMHM application. In good faith, we trust he will forward our request to the correct department. And since he is the point of contact for us as consumers, we will keep following up daily with him and Mr. Rajeev Nair on e-mail and call till we get a favorable response confirming our payment return date OR till we get a written communication informing that we will NOT get the money with justifying reasons. At that point, we will decide and act on a further course of action accordingly.

                        Thirdly, after he saw our early morning e-mail to Mr. Rajeev, Mr. Jayant personally called up to discuss the mail:
                        1) He expressed that he was offended at the tone of our mail and expressed that he felt it was unprofessional, not very mature, and personal in tone of writing, and uncalled for. He did not expect us to stoop so low.
                        2) I have explained to Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy that the mail was not meant to be a professional one - it is a personal mail, because it is our personal money that stands to be lost due to mis-information and thereby misleading and incidental cheating on the part of the sales representative sent to our residence (whereby we signed a form with a clause that entitles us to full refund of payment upon withdrawal of membership within 10 days from signup. But when we actually opted for withdrawal, the representative Arsheen informed us that this clause we signed is not applicable to us since we had been selected for early bird prizes for being among the first 25 customers to sign up for the particular Club Mahindra service. How can we be bound by something we have not signed and how can something e have signed in good faith be declared null and void without any prior written or verbal communication at the last minute?).
                        3) Also it was a personal mail because with the distress caused by losing our hard earned money due to Club Mahindra sales executive Arsheen Khan's misinformation, we stayed awake all night unable to eat or sleep. And writing these mails was the only consolation - even though it was like clutching at straws.
                        4) Further, when we had initially recalled Ms Arsheen Khan and expressed our helplessness and desire to withdraw the application, it was she who was rude to us getting personal by saying that the amount was "peanuts" and it wasn't like we earned "peanuts" so it shouldn't be a problem. As young professionals who worked very very hard days and nights to get where we are, it was very hurtful to hear such things from a person who was refusing to refund our money under misinformation and was refusing to respect our wishes as consumers. I guess at some level that registered with us on a very personal note and added to our distress. That may have contributed to the bitterness and helplessness in our letters, comments, and e-mails.
                        5) Also, each time we typed in keywords like "club mahindra down payment breakup", "club mahindra customer care", and "club mahindra membership fee" to seek additional information about the situation we were in from Club Mahindra, Google only threw up negative comments and reviews from consumers. That made us really scared. In fact when you Google for "Jayant Ramaswamy Club Mahindra", the second result, even before his linked in profile is that of some consumer complaint. so you will understand why our distrust and bitterness and fear of losing our hard-earned money, and our feeling of hopelessness was compounded. I can provide screenshots of Google search results to support this.
                        6) That being said, we apologize to all representatives of Club Mahindra if they have felt hurt at our tone of communication. Our intention was not to hurt, we were not even considering anyone's feelings when we wrote those mails, comments, and posts - all we were focused on was getting our hard earned money back, and with that, our peace of mind.

                        Finally, we have not only submitted our request in writing to Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy towards him and Mr. Rajeev Nair; we have also to be on the safe side, sent via courier a similar copy of the letter (minus the modifications requested by Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy) to Mrs. Usha Pillai at Chennai - we shall track receipt of the same via courier POD and airmail number. We have also e-mailed Mr. Arun Nair who drives social media optimization, when we were confused about who to contact last night (i.e. in the very early hours of Oct 25)

                        We are grateful for the time shared by Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy, and the 2 customer care representatives who sent us e-mails. We hope this goes beyond an expression of regret and verbal discussion, and translates into a hard action resulting in the rightful refund of our down payment as per the termination clause no. 6 which we signed against on the application form. After all, in line with this clause, we have honestly satisfied the condition of withdrawing our application and requesting the same in writing - and we have acknowledged letter copies signed by Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy and stamped with the MHRIL seal to support this written submission.

                        We only want our money back, and will continue to follow up with our customer contact point Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy until we get this resolved i.e. we get our money back. Because he is no longer a faceless entity to us - he is someone we have met and have an established comfort level with. After all that is what good customer engagement is all about.

                        Thanks Club Mahindra team, in advance, for a favorable resolution - i.e. giving our money back to us.

                        We've submitted the paperwork and are awaiting a confirmation on the cheque release date
                        Club Mahindra have been really cheats, I have dropped idea of buying Scorpio 3 months back, which I had shrt listed, I had seen a house in Bhandup Mumbai by mahindra, had 3 rounds for discussion for finalization and suddenly realized it is Mahindra company and went for another project in last week opposite to Mahindra.
                        Mr. Jayant Ramaswamy & Ms. Arsheen will be promoted by Club Mahindra Management, their KRA ( target ) for increments and promoitions is how many customers do they fool . Shame Mahindras
                        We have been informed by the Relationship Manager Ms. Kainaz Pardiwalla to expect our cheque in December, and will now peacefully await the same. Thanks Club Mahindra team for helping us out.

Satam, I have taken the membership of Club Mahindra in 2003 in month of November 2003 , the executive came to my office ,and he told me you can book the visit in next vacation , But When I call on helpline for booking , that time telly caller told me that I not suppose to book , because my membership for off season vacation period, so that I have ask to cancel my membership , to Mumbai office which was situated at Andheri Solitare Park , but that lady refuse to refund my money which was paid about more than Rs.50,000/- , My membership no.was 28903 and period was 08/2004 to 07/2029.
                          and also lady misbehave with me regarding fee ,So that I am Giving message to other peoples , please first clear all doubts regarding the membership , then go for that , other wise you peoples also cheated by Club Mahindra Excecutives,

                          We took a membership of Club Mahindra about three months back. An executive came to our house and promised us a couple of complementry international stays along with the regular benefits of the membership. we got lured into taking the membership and paid an initial downpayment of Rs 30, 000/.
                          In around two weeks time, when we got our registration number, we tried to avail the promised complimentry International stay in any part of the world. We realized that this complimentry stay was not actually in any part of the world but in some far off places where one can't even reach by taking a flight. We felt cheated and tried to cancel our membership but now they tell us that we can't do that as they don't have an exit policy.
                          I've been chasing them for the past two and a half months and now finally they have told me that they give me a refund. I feel harrassed and cheated. I don't know where to go. Please help us in this matter.

                          Club Mahindra — No Refund even when eligible according to the its Terms and conditions!

                          Hi,

                          My husband and I enrolled for Club Mahindra membership in Jan 2008, we cancelled the membership in Oct 2008. We according to the terms and conditions of Club mahindra were advised that the down payment that we mae of 30000 Rs will not be refunded. However, the installments that we have paid (approx 50, 000) after that will be refunded subject to some deductions within 45 days.

                          We called their contact centre after 45 days as the cheque didn't arrive and then were promised that concerned department will get back to us. Then we received a phone call and an e-mail that we are not eligible to any refund!!

                          We pointed the clause in which its clearly written that only initial amount is not refundable but rest is... I also wrote an e-mail to Club Mahindra but no reply!!!

                          The contact centre people keep saying that we will get a call in 24 hours! A big lie!!!

                          Could anyone guide me as how to get my money back. I am asking for something that I am entitled for and they have turned a deaf ear!

                          I had cancelled my membership on third day of enrollment. They told me that you will get your refund within 30-45 working days. But it took me to get my refund amount Rs 15000 back almost 6 months after rigorous follow up (Daily phone calls, emails). During this time I have called more than 135 times to club mahindra offices at various places like Vashi (palm beach galeria,Vashi Stn,Andheri office). The company has very poor refund process.
                          I would sugget not to go for such processless company for availing our beautiful holidays. The marketing executives are lying with the costmores.

I am going to start distributing messages outside sales office informing people about the consumer complaints against them. I have got the messages printed and will distribute them with the help of other harassed members. I am a (un-happy) member too, even after paying so much, I do not get my holidays, they ask us to plan 6 months in advance, all services in their resorts are to be paid extra, dining charges are too high, ASF (annual subscription fees) to be paid extra each year in addition to membership fees (the ASF charges increase every year), not all resorts have kitchenettes... long list of issues which the management doesn;t care for, all they want is to make new members.                           The list of complaints against the Mahindra group company from members is increasing. But they are not being addressed appropriately

                          There appears to be little respite for Mahindra Holidays and Resorts, as the list of complaints from dissatisfied customers continues to grow. The complaints range from unsatisfactory practices and deficiency in services to unfulfilled promises. While very little is known about how successful the company has been in redressing the complaints, a letter addressed to Mahindra Holidays managing director Ramesh Ramanathan recently raises the lack of clarity over the business model that this Mahindra group company follows.

                          "Overall people are not very clear on the business model Club Mahindra follows. There is no one reference document to it and the typical timeshare model does not apply in this case, " Bhupesh Gupta, who has been a member of Club Mahindra Holidays since 2004, wrote in his complaint. "Bits and pieces of information come to light, surprising me every time. I am surprised why Mahindra Holidays reports resort occupancy levels at the time of quarterly report to shareholders. What significance does this have to its timeshare business? Who will take the hit of this under-utilisation, the members or the business?"

                          Mr Gupta says that he has not received a reply from the company for some time and so addressed a copy of the letter to Moneylife, which raised the issue with the company. However, the explanations by Mr Ramesh and chairman Arun Nanda were not very enlightening. Without answering the issue raised directly, both tried to describe how "customer centric" the company has been.

                          Mr Ramesh says, "Our surveys done both internally and independently prove that we have a very happy set of members who rate the experience at our resorts extremely high. I am happy to share with you that RCI have awarded the Gold Crown status to 10 of our resorts… more than 25% of our new members sign up through referrals by existing members, denoting a high level of delight with the brand." RCI is the largest timeshare vacation network in the world.

                          Strangely, in a recent interview with MoneyControl, Mr Nanda had admitted that an internal check has revealed that the company was lacking in many aspects and that it required some cleansing operations to contain the damage to its membership base. Club Mahindra is said to have experienced a 30% drop in membership sales revenue over the past few months.

                          It is very likely that this is the outcome of the numerous complaints of members that appear to go unresolved. Consumer review websites like mouthshut.com and www.consumercomplaints.in list some of them. In one recent note, Devyani Chakraborty says she is still awaiting a refund on cancellation of her membership, which was sold to her a few days before during Durga Puja. In one post today, Mr Sandeep said he has failed to encash a free holiday voucher coupon after he was told that there were no rooms available in any of the resorts in any destination.

                          Other complaints refer to lack of proper exit options, which, the Mahindra Holidays chairman said were very few. However, there is no explanation as to why members have to go through an excruciating exit mechanism and lose 30-40% of their membership fees in the process.

                          Many of the timeshare membership holders have complained that the "flexibility" option, which enables the users to transfer, exchange and split their holidays, have led to under-utilisation of the resorts. Moreover, they accuse the administration of favouritism, which enables only some particular members to avail good reservation dates and facilities.

                          But while members are allegedly denied facilities, resorts and rooms are used for other events and availed by outsiders. Many members, after repeated failures, give up on making reservations, which leaves many resorts with vacancies. There are complaints about unsatisfactory services, inadequate inventory and other unfulfilled promises.

                          It appears from inquiries Moneylife made with some members that there is no proper grievance redressal mechanism and neither are members aware of how they can get their complaints resolved, nor are the staff equipped to deal with such situations. Another repeated mention is that staff members engage in dubious practices like lotteries, misleading members about offers and not providing proper information about the terms and conditions.

                          Mr.Vinit Parekh also gave me false information, when i checked here i dont like approach of any of mahindra executive.so i mailed him to terminate my membership as it is in 10 days now no one is answering my phone or no reply to my mail.Mr. vinit told you cant terminate membership because u took in anniversary offer.i know this is not correct because when i told him to send email stating that.

                          I received any membership kit inMarch end, after sending several reminders-mails.
                          In April end after not able to login, i have written for refund.

                          We have been purely misguided by club mahindra representatives - Lubna Khan and Prince Rajput at the Hub Mall, Goregaon E :

                          Incorrect information was given to us to before joining the membership of club mahindra.

                          The document that we have received from club mahindra today proves that they have wrongly guided us through the Club Mahindra presentation and the pitch document.

                          The reasons supporting our final decisions:

                          Unethical Conduct - We were unsure of our bank balance. The executives said they shall check if there is balance. Instead of just checking the balance, they swiped the card and deducted Rs.20, 000.
                          Prince Rajput came home to collect the Rs.80, 000. He was guiding his colleagues over the phone to deduct money from the debit card even without the physical card. We stopped him from doing so and raised our doubt. This still makes me feel so INSECURE that your representatives can misuse our debit card.
                          They told us that we were VIP customers being offered the SLEO. In SLEO membership we are supposed to pay 50% of Rs. 1, 99, 999 (total membership fee) as a down payment and the rest 50% (Rs. 1, 00, 000) as EMI of Rs. 4167 over a period of 24 months. This will be based on 0% interest.
                          The ASF (Annual Subscription Fee) mentioned by the executives was Rs.10, 748 while we are actually being charged Rs.11, 600.
                          The executives never mentioned that the ASF will increase with the inflation.
                          We just found out today when we received the official letter from Club Mahindra Holidays that the ASF is subject to inflation. So I assume every year we will be paying additional Rs. 1000 hiked price in addition to the existing one, for 25 years. So, I understand in the 25th year we will be paying approximately Rs. 36, 500 ASF.
                          The executives also said that we would be liable to pay the ASF only when we decide to take the holiday in the particular year.otherwise, if we skip a year we will not be liable to pay the ASF for that particular year .
                          Today, we are reading in the literature that we have to pay the ASF every year irrespective of whether we go on the holiday. And if we do not go on a holiday then the ASF will accumulate and whenever we take a long accumulated holiday, we would have to pay for the accumulated ASF.

                          We do not want to continue a relationship which is based on lies and deceit.

                          We are totally and strongly convinced that relationships do not run on such unethical misinformation. We came for a relaxing holiday expectation.

                          We haven't utilized any of your holidays hence please refund our entire amount.

                          Request you to avoid spoiling our time, energy and happiness.

                            My name is ajeet singh and my id is 2023802.I would like to inform you about salesman of mahimdra mr kiran gupta.We have taken this mahindra club membership from him .He was after us to take this membership when we said that mahindra has more members and less resorts its very difficult to book holidys even if you do in advance as we have read reviews about this, he assured us that he will book holidays for us and if he is unable to book for us we will get 100% refund of our money.Since we thought that he is telling us this just to do his sale we have taken this in writing with his signature .Till 7th of oct he kept saying he is trying to book our holidays however when we received no response from him we tried his cell number which he never replied .we wrote sms saying we ll go to court and inform head office as he has given us in writing that our money will be refunded he replied to our call and said that he cannot do anything for us we need to contact mr Manoj baria .After this reply from him we felt as we were cheated by him.We want this to be resolved by higher authorities of mahindra .I am sending scanned copy of that document written and signed by him as an evidence for you.

                            This is a request to you to cancel and refund my membership[protected].
                            As previously i took a membership in the name of Mr. Manish Patesaria ID no 474062 in the year 2007, that time with membership i was offered a free gift of 4 jet airways ticket .After asking for the voucher again and again i never recieved those vouchers then after paying 6 EMI's i stopped paying and started complaining for the free tickets voucher but there was no reply or any settlement . I asked for the cancellation of membership but no one worked it out . So many years i spoke to many of your executives but none of them reverted.
                            In march 2012 one of your executive from vashi branch Mr. Imran Qureshi came and assured us that he will settle down everything and asked us to transfer the membership on Mr manish's wife's name . we agreed and did what he said and now the membership was in the name of Mrs. Deepa Patesaria ID no 2405772 .The EMI started from the month of April2012 amount was decided by Mr.Imran which was Rs.29, 239/-every month.In the month of july he gave us a discount of Rs13, 645/- which was equivalent to some free gift we did not took and the EMI amount was Rs.15, 594/- .Lastly when the September EMI came which we had stopped the payment as told by Imran only, as some amount was to be adjusted with the previous membership by you. as said by Mr.Imran "10.03% of the principal amount paid against the service tax with the previous membership will be adjusted in the last EMI."As the ASF was due i had already paid that also.
                            I blocked a holiday for Mussorie for 26th of may and as per your your call center my ID is showing an outstanding amount due to which i cannot avail any holiday.Thus i contacted so many of your executives to settle the issue and let me know but till date there isn't any solution for the issue.
                            On 15th April firstly i spoke to an executive Sriram from Chennai regarding the matter he assured to sort out the same but there wasn't any call back, then on 24th april i spoke to Naushant, then on 3rd may to Rajila, 6th May to Sriram and then on 7th May to Chandni, 8th May to Sukanya, everyone assured to do something but there was not any call back.In between i tried to call Mr.Imran also but he never answered our call and never replied our messages, he never took the members seriously .On 9th May I spoke to Srividya and she also requested me to wait till 11th and she will speak to some higher authority regarding the matter but Srividya also failed to call.On 12th i emailed Srividya which she has not yet replied.In my mail i wrote her that my Mussorie tickets are booked, im leaving Mumbai on 18th and i have not received the voucher till date.I had mailed you all also but no one cares to reply if you maintain any records you can check.
                            Now i do not want to continue with the membership.I tried to maintain a friendly relation with CLUB MAHINDRA despite of all this matter i paid my ASF also, i restarted with the membership with a fresh start but i was disspointed.

                              Today on 02/10/2010 i mr. Yogesh. V. Devgiri with my family was called by your call centre person mr. Nikil at atari mall office no 133 & 134 worli.

                              We where attendented by your executive ms sushma she explain the scheme about the hoilday and my family loved the scheme and your manager mr. Siddhesh came to explain about the payment schedule. When he explain the payments terms we told him we are not carrying our credit or debit card with us. He started the abuse language with me and gave us the bad experience.

                              After this words i have lodge the complain in worli police station and all ready i am spoken to 1 of the media person to publish the matter how the treatment is given to the people who are invited.

                              But i don't want to spoil your 12th annversery. If you really want that i should not publish this matter and go ahead pls contract me on [protected]. Waiting for your call till 05/10/2010.

                                In reference to my withdrawal application dt 26-09-10 to the Club Mahindra office at the Palm Beach Galleria, Vashi, I forward my worry and unfortunate experience with the same. There has been a series of incidents that have compelled me to cancel this bondage forever.
                                Communication of insufficient information about the Membership, rude behavior and stereotype attitude of the Sales Executive, Seniors, bunch of misleadings and lack of communication of the officials between themselves are the main reasons of why I seek this withdrawal.
                                I have a sincere request that the company should take some measure against those that harm the reputation this way and also ensure that people stepping out of their offices have got all the information they need to have and not get startled or surprised wrongly after they opt for a leisure time only to find that they have added more trouble to their lives.
                                My series of ‘bad to worst’ experiences with the Club Mahindra, Vashi:
                                I got many phone calls from the Mahindra Club backoffice and was told about free offers under any circumstances – just my presence was enough they said to avail these offers- to which I responded by attending their so called 30-minute introduction which lavishly took 3 hours to communicate the product details. Though we were not happy with the attitude of the Sales Executive, we paid the amount and were happy that at least we had invested in a good company and there would be value for the money paid. But this happiness was over within a week when the ground realities were surfaced.
                                The form filling was without even offering us to read the terms and conditions, it seems the Club Mahindra personnel gets the details filled within three minutes so getting time to read any of the clauses to the customers was not really a practice followed.
                                A lot many promises and misleadings were made towards building the ‘customer’s trust’ as usual by the big branded company officials. I made a payment thru my wife’s credit card of Rs. 16031 (Sixteen thousand thirty one) on 30thAug’10 and was again told it would be credited only by 7th Oct 2010 by the Senior Officer1. Also was confirmed, the kit and the other offer cards would be reaching us within 4-5 days.
                                There was no welcome call made by the club, which was promised to be within 4-5 days. The amount was immediately credited to the Club’s account withih 2 days. It was disgusting to find my email address wrongly recorded. Still I have not received the email.
                                Poor followup aspect of the club: My wife had to ring up after a week to find the status of the same. No fruitful response was given, it was just said the courier had been dispatched which was later found as untrue.
                                The next call was responded with a customer care number, to which she had to ring up to ask again the status of the courier and the same was then turned smartly into a ‘Welcome Call’ by the Executive which left us with enough setbacks.
                                • Email entered in the system was incorrect.
                                • The holiday start was only by Jan 2012.
                                • There was a long waiting period.
                                • The Annual Subscription Amount told would be varying (increasing) every year and does not remain constant for 25 years.
                                • The Kit would reach only by 30 to 45 days.
                                The EMIs – another tension added:Another blow occurred when my wife called up the Credit Card office to cancel the further EMIs, only to found that the Club Mahindra had a standing instruction from their side, which she being the owner of the card also could not deny. The only option left was to cancel her Credit card.

                                Its really surprising to find not a single personnel knowledgeable about the product offers, details and terms and conditions involved in the membership. It’s a disgusting experience and a bitter memory I ever had.
                                For any company there are competitors, but if the product offered is a guarantee, it surely does well. But sorry to say, the feeling we had was that it’s only the money count of the customer and not the concern or bother of the value of the money given. Pls do not treat your customers like this.
                                I look for a reimbursement of my amount in full from the company.

                                During signing of the membership, i was confirmed the following:

                                1. I was given a special offer with the membership which included the following :
                                a) 6N / 7D stay at any Club Mahindra Resort in India
                                b) Rs.3000/- worth Dining Vouchers
                                c) To and Fro Air Tickets for 2 Adults + 2 Children (4 & 6 years age)

                                2. I was very clearly told during my membership form filling about the details in point # 1 and it

                                was only once i was confirmed that all these things would be given in writing (confirmed by Mr Eldon

                                Marquee), i agreed to sign up for the membership.

                                3. I was also confirmed that i can try out the membership in December through a very special offer

                                above after paying a 15% fees (Rs. 29,161/-) which i agreed to pay instantly


                                Some of the incidences which go on to show how things have worked out after fees payment till now

                                are as follows :

                                1. Immediately after joining, i gave a call to Club Mahindra to book a resort on my special offer

                                and i was told that i cant book any resorts unless i get my membership id, which might take around

                                30 days time. Ofcourse, this was not made clear at the time of joining.

                                2. Meanwhile i received a confirmation call from Club Mahindra confirming my personal details but

                                the calling representative said that i am applicable to get only 2 tickets one way (instad of 4

                                tickets two-way as confirmed during the membership signing).

                                3. After my continious re-iteration of the facts, the calling representative agreed to check back

                                with the sales team and then called up again to re-confirm that i am applicable for 4 Tickets one-

                                way (instead of 4 tickets two-way)

                                4. I again re-iterated for 4 tickets two way and the calling representative again said that she

                                would come back after checking with the sales team once again but the welcome caller never called up

                                again. I was helpless.

                                5. I then re-checked on my own with the sales team and i was told that Club Mahindra cannot give

                                this (4 tickets two-way) in writing because of management constraints but i was continiously

                                verbally confirmed that i am eligible for 4 tickets two way( I still have this verbal assurance from

                                Mr Yoginder and Mr Eldon - hSales Team)

                                6. I had to wait till i recieved my membership id (Membership ID # 473669). The letter that came

                                along with that confirmed a few of the offerings of the special offer but stated that the Air

                                Tickets are only one-way.

                                7. Now started the next ordeal of booking a resort. When i called up Club Mahindra to book the

                                resort, i was very clearly told that no resort is available till Jan 26th and Club Mahindra is

                                helpless in this case.(while i joined on the pre-condition that i would like to visit the Munnar

                                Resort in mid Dec 07) (Interaction ID # 495260)

                                8. I had to then chase up the sales team as to why was i committed a date in Dec'07. Was it just for

                                the sake that i sign up as a member?

                                9. After hectic follow up and numerous calls with the sales team, i was given the email id of Mr

                                Lovleen - "lovleen.[protected]@clubmahindra.com" where i had to write about my booking details. Just to

                                be flexible from my side, i offered alternate destination and dates in the email. When i got no

                                reply to the email for a few days, i called up the sales team again to find out what needs to be

                                done next.

                                10. Then, i was given the contact number of Mr Sunil Kumar who is the reservation incharge and i was

                                asked to start following up with Mr Kumar henceforth for Dec reservation. Sales team gave up and

                                said they are helpless if there are no bookings. they told that Mr Sunil Kumar is the only person

                                who can help me now.

                                11. After talking and writing to Mr Kumar, i got a response after 4 days that the said dates are not

                                available and i was offered alternative dates. The resort booking offered was also for 5N instead of

                                6N. To cooperate, i agreed to the said dates and wrote my confirmation email back to Mr Kumar.

                                12.After this, when i tried to follow up to get my resort confirmation, DV and Air Tickets, i could

                                not get in touch with either Mr Kumar or sales team. I did numerous calls to the sales team and left

                                many messages but i was always told that the sales team is busy and cannot attend the call. I was

                                assured everytime that i will get a call back, but ofcourse, i had started to expect certain

                                behaviour from Club Mahindra - i never got a call back

                                13. After numerous follow ups, i got a call from Mr Kumar that my reservation is confirmed for

                                Ashtmudi from 15th - 20th Dec'07. He specifically asked me whether i will be accompanied by kids

                                and i confirmed the same along with the age group (4 and 6 years)

                                14. I thought the booking is finally done. Then i got another call from Club Mahindra office (Tel

                                Nos.[protected] and[protected] saying that they are looking after my resort booking since Mr

                                Sunil has forwarded the case to them. They were offering me Ashtmudi resort from 15th for 4 Nights

                                now. I said i dont want for 4 Nights since my special offer is for 6N and then i was told in that

                                case, nothing is available. When i re-terated the story, i got a call back saying that the resorts

                                are available from 10th for 5 Nights. Again, i wanted to close this ordeal and i agreed to these

                                new dates. After 30 min, i got another call saying that my booking is already done from 15th - 20th.

                                Rubbish !!! But then i agreed again. I was also confirmed during the call that the reservation is of

                                2 Adults and 2 Kids

                                15. I was also confimed during the above calls that the Dining vouchers and the air tickets would

                                also be delivered to me the next day but ofcourse i did not get anything.

                                16. I got a SMS next day that my resort booking is confirmed and the details have been mailed to my

                                email ID : "[protected]@manojarora.not" . then i realised that my email id with Club Mahindra was

                                incorrect. I again called up Club Mahindra asking them to correct my email ID and send me the

                                confrimation mail to the correct email id ie "[protected]@manojarora.net"

                                17.Next day when i got the mail on the correct email ID, i was again shocked to see that my

                                confirmation was only for 2 Adults and no kids allowed. There was no mention of my Dining Vouchers

                                and Air tickets

                                18. I wrote back to Club Mahindra and also again narrated the entire story to the sales team but

                                never got a positive response from anyone. I was again confirmed by Sales Team that they would

                                confirm me about DV, Kids accomodation and Air tickets by end of day but again didnt get any

                                response

                                19. Since now i am tired of followups and want to end this nightmare, i want to wait only till 31st

                                Nov 2007 to give a last chance to all concerned after which i will have to initiate the following

                                actions :

                                1. Ofcourse, i would cancel my membership and would expect my 15% advance payment (Rs. 29,161/-)

                                back with interest
                                2. I will have to go to Consumer Court to get justice done for this kind of response from Club

                                Mahindra
                                3. Go to the press to create public awareness against this club.

                                I am so frustated that i would not hesitate in going to any extent to get justice done to myself and

                                show the real face of Club Mahindra to the entire public.

                                I totally agree with your view of Club Mahindra. Dealing with them is quite frustating. When one sends an email you get a reply saying that they would respond within 48 hours. However, if you notice they do not. Next time you click on their response and leave the subject line same, you do not receive a response at all. To overcome this problem I started changing the subject line every time. I think we need to get together and form an association of people affected by Çlub Mahindra and lodge a criminal complaint against them for perpetuating a fraud. I was promised so many things prime among them being that the ASF would not change and also that we would be assured of bookings. Both later I found to be false. I decided to seek a clarification from them which they refused providing some vague comments. I understand that they are overbooked and also taking in many memberships by luring people through posting of representatives at Petrol Bunks and Malls. These people are assured 2 N / 3 D free holidays. Further they also sell rooms directly. Where do they have the capacity. They wish to rake in the maximum through their IPO. I have already approach SEBI and Department of Company Affairs as also CORE, etc. I request you to approach the same. Also kindly network for others with similar problems so that an united front can be put up. Club Mahindra needs to be taught a lesson and a fitting one at that.
                                I am also a sufferer from the non fullfillment of promises from Club Mahindra.
                                I was offered Free Complimentary weeks without any condition about it usage, but now they are restricting its usage to Off season only and that too at limited property.
                                I have selected to become member for red season as I am having School going kids, now I feel that I would not be able to utilise these complementary week.

                                Club Mahindra Holidays — Unreliable

                                I had enrolled for timeshare with club mahindra in July 2007 and as part of the enrollment they had promised 2 complementary international weeks of RCI holidays. But when it came to delivering on this, I was pushed back and forth between Club Mahindra and RCI, with none of them taking ownership for delivering on the commitment. they kept on giving some reason or the other and could never offer any good resort or desired resort even after seeking it 6 months in advance.. and what they can offer is only local holidays; everything else they simply brush aside . and some of the responses from club mahindra have to be seen to be believed.. there is just no ownership. I guess my money is a waste ( because they do not even offer refunds and hide behind fine print ).. my only request to fellow users/boarders is PLEASE BE WEARY OF THIS COMPANY OF CHEATS. DO NOT GO BY WHAT THEY ADVERTISE. THESE CANNOT SERVICE WHATEVER THEY PROMISE AND NEITHER IT IS THEIR INTENT TO DELIVER.. THEY JUST WANT TO FLEECE.. IF TODAY THEY ARE OFFERRING SOME LCD TELEVISION, MOST LIKELY IT WILL NOT WORK/THEY WILL BE GIVING YOU THE DISCARDS OF THE COMPANY AND THEN MAKE YOU RUN FROM PILLAR TO POST.. AN ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC COMPANY.
                                I am also not being given any refund, though cancelling within the stipulated time. What can we do? Please suggest. If we need to take up the issue together, let's do it.

                                I am also a victim of Club Mahindra. First of all their Sale office at Palm Beach Galleria, Vashi, Navi Mumbai chased me over telephone to visit their office. How can they call a person over phone without any appointment and how they should take the personal details of a person illegally and distrurb him repeatedly. However, a common person is lured of offer by Club Mahindra.
                                So, One fine day I visited them on one fine day just to have a look of the adjacent shoppong Mall and CM was just a secodnary objective.
                                But their Sale executives are very good at convincing the person and twist the persons brain as they a very good at gauging the persons state of mind and weakness. Within a hour of talk and without any written conditions they motivated me to sign the form and got my Credit card to pay for the intial amount of around Rs. Thiry Thousand. They did not disclose the terms and conditions like canellation rules etc.

                                However, after coming home and giving a cool thought I realised that this membership is not suitalbe for me financially. I got back to executive of Palm beach office for the cancellation but he kept suggesting to keep the membership.

                                After that I have been seding nubmer of email for refund. Their call centre executive kept telling that i should wait for 45 days for the canellation and even promised that full refund will be done unconditinally. They also promised that some executive of Club Mahindra will contact me within 48 hours regarding the canellation. But it has been more than three months and none of the CM fellow has contacted.

                                This has been frusrating for us. CM is really doing unfair business by engaging its sales executive to trap the simple people in unethical way. It is just a Fraud and Cheating.

                                I request Club Mahindra to take actin against his executive and return the money of all the CM members who has has been trapped.

                                I am ready to chase CM to get back the money of all the concerned people.

                                Let us get together and ask for compesnation for mentally harrassing the people.

                                myself ASIFKHAN from mumbai joined this club in june(2008)that time they committed me for giving a LAPTOP, but yet they are not fullfilled their commitment, daily they people are giving new excuse to me, now i want to cancel my membership, but they are not replying me.
                                Hi, Me and My husband became the victim of club mahindra's Lucky Draw scheme. Yesterday (20 oct 2008) only we got to know that its a fraud and after reading all the reviews on internet we are in a shocked state. We paid approx 34K to club mahindra, not sure if we will ever get it back.
                                I strongly believe and agree that public should be aware of this else many other couples like us will get suffered.

                                From last one week thay are contacting me telling about Lucky Draw's result that I have won the 2D-3N resort stays and all...after reading this I have decided to not to go for it...otherwise tomorrow I could become another victim.
                                I suggest there is one program "PAHREDAAR" on CNBC AWAAZ channel, report this fraud to them with detail and they will take the case forward and solve your problem.

CM representative called at 7 SEP 2008 to collect 3n-4D gift vaoucher at their CSM outlet and diverted my mind by some false commitment and forced me to take membership.                                 Club Mahindra Holidays — No Refund of my money after defaulting in services badly.

                                This is to bring to your notice, the problems and harassment I have been
                                facing in the hands of Club Mahindra Holidays for last three months. It
                                has been a horrendous experience for, despite spending almost 120, 000 Rs
                                I have not got the guaranteed services nor my money or a response after
                                the cancellation.

                                Below given is the series of problems that I have faced for past 6 months:

                                1. I made a booking of Studio Apartment in the RED season, where in we
                                would be getting the priority of Holidaying in the busy season . To make
                                the holidays smoother they promised that they have tie up with over 3500
                                resorts where we can be booked for our holidays. However when we requested
                                for our first holiday in Munnar in August we were not given the
                                reservation on the time on the requested time slot. I had placed my
                                request one month in Advance with the Executive who was servicing us. We
                                ended up loosing the entire holidays season.

                                2. They promised us 6 free open air tickets at the time of booking which
                                were suppose to be valid upto March 31st.The executive promised to send us
                                the open Kingfisher tickets, which we didn't receive, and we were told
                                that we have to send the email request for the travel reservation. However, I placed my first request of air ticket after talking to Vinod, the
                                request got no response till today. I have been asking them, why I was
                                not given the air ticket, they have not replied me till today. I have been
                                writing mail and there was no response.

                                3. They had promised certain referral benefits. I have given them over 11
                                referrals but there was no feedback on the same. I have got no transparent
                                reply till today as to who joined and where the money has gone. I wrote an
                                email on 9th Oct and than on 22nd oct but they have not responded. Despite
                                my repeated follow-ups and there was no reply and finally they send me a
                                cheque of Rs 4000 for one referral which I have not banked as I have
                                requested for cancellation. I have already returned the cheque to Club
                                Mahindra. Just to add, Vinod has tow times confirmed me that referral
                                cheque of Rs 14000 has been dispatched but I have not received till
                                date(which was a lie).And now Vinod doesn't pick his phone not I get a
                                reply from Club Mahindra.

                                4. I have been chasing the customer care representative and sales guy who
                                signed me up but they have not responded to my email or my phone calls .I
                                have written emails on 11th Aug, 9th Oct, 22nd Oct, 6th Nov, 8th Nov,
                                18th Nov, 01dec, 03 Dec, and 8th Dec 2008. There was never a proper
                                feedback or reply.

                                I put my first cancellation request, on the ground that they have failed
                                to deliver on the commitments. I put the request on 8th november and
                                requested them not to charge my credit card . They still went ahead and
                                charged my credit card twice after that for 19777 Rs . Again I send the
                                cancellation request on 03 Dec 2008 and till now I have not got any
                                response on my request. The harassment is going beyond proportion now and
                                I have been forced to approach you .

                                Kindly help me in this regard. I want to proceed legally . Kindly suggest.

                                Consequences : Total Economic loss is over 120, 000 Rs and continous mental

                                Club Mahindra Holidays — misrepresentation & non-returning of money till-date illegally

                                This is a disatisfied, distraugt, harassed consumer who was laid into your trap by sales representatives who told that by paying 15% of the amount, you will get one national hoilday, one international holiday, gift vouchers, HCL laptop etc.Once you are through with your holidays & gifts, then you decide whether you want to take the whole scheme.Best part was that scheme was told us was valid for only that fatefulday.The poor consumer fell to these mind-games & accepted this offer by paying Rs.33000/-.
                                Next day a confirmation call comes from member relation, it was told that you need to pay 2 instalment to get the offered things .we were livid, you bet. But we asked for cancellation & that our membership application may not be processed.Mail which was acknowleged was sent immedaitely.
                                But heavens behold, after few days come the news that a membership id is created 1375307. why on earth somebody would do it after cancellation notice!!
                                Then starts the real trauma.I was told that money will be back in few days.after calling for 100 of times & mailing franatically after 3 months I only have promises that cheque will be dispatched in few days, last date being 10th Jan.It was really appaling to hear from member relation team that they have asked xyz branch & they are not doing the needful.Do I have a consumer have to care about your internal processes?
                                In this era of corporate governance & ethics, it is a blot on fair name of Mahindar Group.I hope they care!!

                                I had applied for membership on basis of glibly talking misrepresenting sales representatives .next day when confirmation call came, offer given was termed unviable by your representative.so i cancelled my membership & sent mail to effect on same day which was acknowleged & responded.But thereafter still my membership was created via id 1375307.there was a promise to pay within 10 day.but it has been 3 months & when a call is made, sometimes I am told that cheque will be sent in 2 days or 3 days. Since thils illegal hoarding of money is neither legally nor morally tenable, so you are requested to pay the funds along with interest charges & inconvenience cum harassment charges.This may be construed as a legal notice.otherwise i will be forced to approach consumer court, interenet grievace redressal groups. my phone [protected]"
                                In the interest of "Consumer Soverignity"I not only demand my money along with interest & harassment charges but also want action against people who sat on my request for 3 months despite so many calls & mails.even Public sector Companies, these days don't treat their consumers in this manner!!

                                To add on to the Mahindra communications :

                                I had requested for the cancellation of my membership a mnth after I enrolled for it.
                                I asked for the details as to how much amount am entitled to get back and so.

                                At times I received a mail and a call saying that someone from "Member relations" would call and talk over my concerns.
                                This somehow happened after a month of my requesting for cancellation.
                                When I asked the team to call me on weekends rather then weekdays, think I received a call after 4 months ( after follow ups ) sating nothing is refundable.

                                The caller said she couldnt call as she was on leave for a month.

                                Mind you, I havent encashed any holidays with mahindras in the while.


                                RCI keeps sending messages askign to apply for holidays before it expires.
                                When tried chkign for some holiday, it says, I cannot do that after another month or so. Wonder, why the weekly text messages then.
                                Also, if encashing holidays in RCi location, stay for any days less then 7 days and it will eb counted as 7 days only.
                                RCI does not look as lucrative as Club Mahindra propogated it at the time of selling.
                                I think they called it their USP.
                                The USP itself is a question mark.
                                Club Mahindra is still marketing their membership offering all sort of goodies but the reality is that they do not have sufficient inventory even to satisfy or to honour the commitments to half the numbers of their exisitin members. I do not suggest anyone to become members. On top of this, no member is having a say in the management of the club, hence where is the point of calling this as a club? This is purely money making business.

                                I have been trying to get holiday at Varca Beach, Goa property for the New Year eve week but was told it is fully booked. This is on 1st July at around 9.40 A.M. The booking is open on 1st July at 9.00 A.M. I am a Purple member. I do not know what could be the position of other category members. In the month of December 2008, I was told that Munnar property is fully booked on 1st May 2009, hence my request from 29th April to 2nd May could not be processed!!

                                Many of the rooms are sold to corporates like any other commercial hotels at the cost of the members.

                                It is a pity that plenty of people like me are helpless today. May be we members have to form a Members Association to fight against the management to address our plight.
                                Mine is yet another horror story with Club Mahindra..no need to explain..we all are experiencing the same kind of feelings as we belong to this crappy family of clubmahindra holidays...
                                Why dont we just stop being rhetoric and turn things into action.
                                Let us see what is the best way to reach out to the Billionaire Anand Mahindra...and get some solution..why dont we take out a rally...for doing this..why dont we form a club against club mahindra to protect our interests and stop being cheated...is there anyone who is listening...

                                Club Mahindra — OVerbooking by Mahindra

                                Club Mahindra are gathering memberships in thousands of number but their resorts do not have rooms even if tried to book 4 months in advance. I have 2nd highest membership colour but any time I try to book the resorts are full or one get rooms only for a day or two as against promised rooms of 7 days. Or they will say 2 days are available in hotel in north and 3 days in south of India. You just cant use your free holidays. And on one hand members can not get rooms and on other sides people who are not members they get free rooms during promos.

                                The membership also states that Mahindra would buy back membership but I must have made many calls to them but no one responds to give me details on how to go about it.

                                People must beware of buying mahindra club membership as they are just collecting money with a promise to holidays but you can never actually get to have one.

                                I wanted to escalate against the false commitments and cheating done to me for refunding my money against cancellation.



                                22nd November 2008: I paid 38851.00 Rs for becoming the member of Club Mahindra through my ICICI credit card. I got disapponted with the services and false commitments of the hotel reservations, so I have applied for the cancellation & refund of paid amount on December. The process was initiated on 7th January and I was told that in 30 working days the amount will be refund. Since, then I am just following up with the customer care and vashi branch for my refund.



                                The member relation officers have send me many witten mails giving the dates of confirmation for cheques release. But, the when the dates reached they turned back and tells me that there is some problem from Club Mahindra Corporate and from there end cheques are not released so we cannot make it know and it will take two more months.



                                I am going to register a legal complain to Consumer Court Thane Branch very soon with all the proof documents.

                                No current facilites and no water
                                I completely agree with the above complaints as I have experienced the same harrowing treatment from club mahindra. I had applied for the membership on March 30, 2009 and cancelled the membership on 15th April. (Membership No: 1461218). Despite repeated requests I still have not received the refund of my hard earned money. The company is an absolute fraud and I intend to take up all legal action.

                                Club Mahindra Holidays — Membership 1441926 Cancellation Refund not provided from 5 months (16-Mar-2009)

                                I had taken a membership from Club Mahindra, but as the bookings etc for the trip i had taken were not done therefore i cancelled the membership. There were many goofups/manipulation:

                                1. The correct contact information which i had given was not registered in the system. It was manipulated.
                                2. On Mar 16 2009 i had sent a request for the cancellation of membership and i was assured that within 45 days the refund for the amount 15855. After that there have been constant follow up's and requests still there has been no revert/cheque recieved.

                                Following are the details of the case:

                                1. Date – 16-Mar-2009: This is at the time of cancellation they told refund cheque would reach to my address within 45 days. Cheque yet not received.
                                2. Date – 22-Apr-2009: Ref# 1386136. Again confirmation given that I’ll receive the cheque in 30-45 days. Cheque yet not received.
                                3. Date – 17-Jun-2009: Ref# 1311596. Confirmation given that someone from Delhi Main office would call me. I did’nt receive any call till now.
                                4. Date – 23-Jun-2009: Ref# 1311596-upd. Lady says Cancellation is still Under Process and we’ll get a call back in 24 hrs.

                                This is one of the worst CUSTOMER SERVICE. Please take strict action against them.

                                Club Mahindra — Not sending my joining fees back after cancellation of the membership

                                It is very sad that Club Mahindra has cheated me by not returning my joinning fees of 25, 000 since last Six months even after several commitments from there side. Every time they are disrespecting their commitments. My membership ID is 1444762
                                I paid money for membership 31st Aug 2009, realized on on 2nd Sept 2009 at Kolkata. Once you pay the money their attitude chages + you come to know about many hidden charges only after you pay the money. I got bored within 2 days. On 3rd I requested for cancellation and return of my money. Chennai office told me to register through email. As I was on vacation to India, I did not have easy access to PC & internet, so I told him to register my phone call as complain and refund. He did so, then I visited local office at Kolkata, several times for membership cancellation. The guys made "golmal" and offered me to visit a nearby place for 2 nights (the place is worth half a day), offered a laptop in exchange of my travel voucher, dinner voucher ( as I paid 2 installments in advance in addition to 10%). Again I requested for cancellation again "Golmal".
                                They don't reply your call, SMS, email once you paid the money. Recorded reply u will get that "someone will contact you within 48 hours", sometimes u will receive an email stating : " we tried to contact you in your registered mobile number but failed" when nobody has at all called you.
                                Finally I lost my money and came back to my work place in Doha losing my INR 37000/=
                                Let us make big Negative email campaign about the company such that their top level management learns how to manage a company.

                                I and wife both were called for a demo for Club Mahindra and we were offered membership for club mahindra. We initially opted for going for membership for off season for studio apt. Due to insufficient funds, we decided to not to avail the membership. The sales person told us that the offer is limited and we can give advance of Rs. 5,564 through Debit card against the initial joining fees of Rs.15,000/-. details as below

We also requested to send the signed copy of the forms of terms and conditons which is not delivered till date.

                                Since then twice we have sent e-mail to customer service support for refunding the money and no revert s were received from them .

                                Club mahindra has looted our money by showing lucurative part of offer and keeping us alloof of the terms and condition part.

                                We kindly request to consumer forum to help us getting our money refunded since Rs. 5564 is not small sum for salary earner.

                                Again I showed my faith on your Business Partner-Dream vacation office at Jaipur.I have deposited amount to Rs 30376 by cheque on dated 18 Feb.2009. But even after lapes of 7 month there is no satisfactory reply from them.

                                I again request you to look into my case seriously otherwise, I will left with no other option but to exercise legal action of consumer law.

                                We really enjoyed the holiday at Club. overall it was nice experience. Staff at club is really very good & gentle. Activity center is really making the stay memorable. Teacher is very co-operative & always wear a smile on her face. Children along with elders enjoy the activities here, creative activities are taught with patience & care by the craft teacher.

                                I have been a club mahindra member since last 2 years and during this tenure I could figure out that they have no business ethics and professionalism and they are here to cheat the members. The number of complaints here proves my point. They have built up a huge membership based on a very very small inventory of rooms, so a member is supposed to wait for 4-6 months for his turn to get a room. I contacted the member relations team and questioned the same and asked them to come out with the total number of room they ave for members and the total number of membership. I am also pissed of with their waiting and delaying tactics for booking a room, I asked the procedure for recalling the membership and getting the refund. They first tried to convince me to reconsider my decision, but when they found me firm on my decsion, they have stopped responding. I am yet to get any response of my mail to know the procedure of recalling the membership. I am trying to call them, they dont respond, they are not responding to my mails either. They are infact penalizing and harassing me for bringing the issues of long waiting time to the fore. But they cant deny my right to know that as a member, neither can they deny my right to recall the membership. I have also warned them that I would rather go to consumer court, if they dont act, but it seems they dont care consumer cases, as there are already 52 consumer cases are pending against Club Mahindra. Its a sorry state of affairs, they are a bunch of lies, a bundle of woes. I have never witnessed such a inhospitable company in th hospitality industry.
                                I am standing on a very similar platform.

                                Holiday & Movie Voucher — Cheated & taken for a ride

                                I have a very serious grievences to foward against India Today Book Club. It seems they are here to fleece people by means of marketing bogus products. I am forwading below my complain : ( I have also mentioned a list of executives with whom I have spoken & forwarded my complaints)

                                1) I am Nayan Mehta from Mumbai & Somewhere in April'09, I had received a phone call from the tele marketing executive Mr.Vikas from tel.no.[protected] offering me a National & International 7 nights/ 8 days holiday stay voucher for a couple with a vaildity for 9 months for Rs.5943/-. He also informed me that apart from other resorts, they had Mahindra Club Resorts on the list of choices along with split of nights. I cross checked him to spell any locations of Mahindra randomly & he informed correctly like of Coorg & Goa, on the basis of the information provided, I immediately purchased one voucher. My order no. is OGA[protected], dt.24/4/09 & my membership no.ITBC 091309. On receiving the parcel I was informed to forward the Voucher code request form to Bangalore to M/s.Big City Promotions to obtain a "Promotional Code". I received the code after a month. On receiving my promotional code from Bangalore, I searched the resort-store.com for Club Mahindra for bookings in August'09, but I was shocked & surprised that I could not find a single resort of Mahindra.I have been trying to locate Club Mahindra resorts from time to time but there is no sign of any of the resorts. I have trying to search for booking from August'09 till lastly 1st week of Jan'2010 but couldnt find any resorts of Club Mahindra. I really feel cheated.

                                2) I also purchased a movie voucher booklet i.e. one on one tickets free for Rs.588/- vide order # OGA[protected], dt 26/4/09. But it seems it is of no use as I have sent several sms for booking, but I regret that I never received any reply.

                                Both the products are bogus & useless. I have forwarded my complaints to several executives in Delhi & Bangalore,(I have a list of them with names & dates as mentioned below) but none of them has bothered to slove my complain. Finally I was advised by Mr.Kapil on 22nd Dec'09, when I called him on[protected], to foward my complaint to an email id of Big City ,and he also informed that I shall receive a positive respone from your end within 48 hours, but its already over 15 days I havent received any reply. I request you to kindly help me to claim my refund . I shall return back both the products as they are useless & unutilised.

                                I have similar experience. They collected the 10% advance on 04.10.2009, confirmed membership on 06.10.2009. The concerned representative had not explained all the clauses; we informed on 09.10.2009. Several calls, SMS and mail sent for proper resolution; they did not resolved the issue except telling that everything as per the terms and condition. I opt for discontinuation of membership om 25.10.2009. They replied after several reminder that nothing can be returned and you have to continue. I find they are not replying any of my communication there after. Mid of December 2009, I decided to continue with it and started further communication to change the mode of payment and to avail holidays as per their offer. Once again I made several communication, received several false commitment from them. But as yet neither they have changed the mode of payment nor allowed me to avail any holidays.
                                It seems there is no law and order in our Country and company like Club Mahindra has enough underground support to perform such illigal practice.

                                With much regrets with your team here in MUMBAI we are complaining regarding sub standard services provided by Club Mahindra Team.

                                Since today morning my day has been spoiled by one of your sales person who infact intially has involve in processing my membership. It was through reference of one of my friend (who has already become a member)we thought to go in for membership.

                                Name of this sales person is Piyush..
                                From day one we are facing issues with this chap. he has taken cash component with assurance of giving receipt within one day, but in actual we had to chase him for the receipt and only after 04 working day he revert back at 1200 in mid night and handed over the receipt.

                                Since then he had been a useless component in the entire service. We had to run from pillar to post for minor information.

                                Now we had planned to have a holiday Malaysia.. since last one month we are following him but again the same story.. many a times he is out of station or he will call after 2200 hrs when we are not comfortable in talking to him.

                                Today on a simple question as how much will be the tentative was answere in a very accuverd way, stating that first pay for the booking then only we can discuss anything further. this was worst experience of my life as this person boldly told me that he don't like my tone of talking and regularly i am getting hyper. Belive me he was the same person who has done all the transaction made me run around for my documents and today if we talk about service after sales this is the response.

                                This team is working from Kandivali, Mumbai from Raghuleela Mall and I am getting calls from 40006465. Adding to this i have to listen to the CRM of this team who instead of trying to solve the issue did opposite.. She added fuel to fire. (forgotten her name).

                                This team does not have sense to handle clients query... now a days customers comfort is taken by all but delight is what we are looking for. This team of your have failed totally they know very well to provoked customer at other end and force him to turn animal.

                                Lastly to cut all short I have requested the lady who has taken Piyush on con call to totally isolate me from Piyush as i sense fishy in all his activity and henceforth requested her to document all my correspondence on mail.

                                Hope some one more sensible and major one attend to my need or please guide me to get out of this false trap of Club Mahindra team who are surely good for nothing at least the experience with Piyus and his team forces me to give such statement.

                                I had taken Club Mahindra Membership (Membership No. 1732147) on 12th Feb 2010 in Mumbai from Andheri Branch & it was promised to me that i will get 4 nights package at Kerala during the May Month for my honeymoon & also it was promised to me that i will get food voucher of Rs. 4000. but after getting membership it was informed to me that i am not elgible for Kerala Trip during may month as it was coming in Purple Season & also food voucher given to me was Rs. 2000.
                                Then i asked for refund they said that they can't refund me as membership taken on a offer period.
                                Thereafter their sales person Mr. Mayur Govil offered me that if i upgrade my membership to Red I will definately get Kerala Package in the month of May 2010. so i upgraded my membership to red (Membership No. 1770775) on 8th of March aftter all the promises which later on i realised that it was also one of false commitment made to me & taken difference amount from me. Now he told me that i will get difference amount refund if i not get kerala trip. But till today there is lots of calls made by me.. still i didn't got Kerala Trip nor the difference amount refunded.

                                I think club mahindra is cheating the customer by the way of this sales formula & also once if we pay the amount we never get refund nor the commitments made by them.
                                Club mahindra's only intention is to sell and run away. they dont care for your holidays and your money after that.

                                i am struggling to get them on line for the past three months after paying 1.2 lacs and 3 lacs due.

                                Oh My God...I did not see these comments before I took the membership. I am also victim of this cheating business... One top of that...I did not utlise any holidays till date, but ASF is collected. The unacceptable thing is that, the ASF Payment cheque which I gave is misplaced by CLubmahindra.My God...Lot of problems. I asked them to cancel My membership.                                 We have purchased Manidra Duro on 13Th Sep 2010. We are using Honda Activa from 2003 and have no complaint at all. Here with Duro I am facing that from the day one. Main stand and side stand is designed very poor. It falls when ever we park it on side stand. Your mechanic at Unicorn Motors agreed upon this. It is wobbling from the day one and it continued even after first Services at Unicorn Motors Bangalore. Mr. Natraj at Mansi Motors, Banashankari had promised us the services will be done just on a call. He will send the person to pick up and drop the vehicle but not kept up his word. We have still not received RC card till date which is promised by Mansi Motors with in 15 days of purchase. Tell me what do I do & who I should approach to get justice.

I am a (un-happy) member too, even after paying so much, I do not get my holidays, they ask us to plan 6 months in advance, all services in their resorts are to be paid extra, dining charges are too high, ASF (annual subscription fees) to be paid extra each year in addition to membership fees (the ASF charges increase every year), not all resorts have kitchenettes... long list of issues which the management doesn;t care for, all they want is to make new members.                                 I was aware of all the negative comments about Club Mahindra. But I just wanted to have the experience of meeting these fraudulent people; so I agreed to meet them after they called me saying that I have won 2N and 3D free gift voucher. Once their executives meet me, I asked them some pertinent questions like how many resorts they have and how many customers they have and how they manage 30 resorts with the large base of 1 lakh people. After my questions, their executives started talking about different types of levels (Red, Green etc). After seeing that I can hardly buy their argument, they never went ahead with their 1 Hr presentation and wrapped it within 15 min. Though as promised, they gave me 2N 3D Free Gift coupon which I am sure I can never utilize. Still I will try to see whether I can still get it as it is Free :)
                                Me too facing similar issuesnof promises not met on the commitment made during sales. I would have made at least 5-6 calls to the sales person, 3 emails and at least half a dozen SMSs to the sales person as we don't have any other contact other than the sales person who has promised and calling on their customer care no is like leaving all the work and just doing that.

                                In any company of this sort, there is bound to be dissatisfaction. Promises fail when it comes to delivery stage. This arises mainly because of so many hidden meanings for the cluauses about which a normal person does not have time to investigate before he gets in. That is where the company takes the customer for a big roller coaster ride. Some time back they had only 3 seasons - white, blue & red. Later, ( God knows when) they introduced another catogery- purple- that is higher than red. I am sure, if you fine comb the rules, there will be an exemption clause - rules and regulations may be changed at the will of management and members are bound by them. So, the guys who bought red thinking they can book any time, are taken for a ride without their knowledge. How leagal is to create another class within the existing properties which has been already sold at the time of the member joining? Do we have time to fight it out?

                                I have taken this membership from past four years I mean to say Headache from past four years. When I took it I was promised so many things but everything is wrong because 99% of the time you don’t get dates and resorts as per your wish but you get only advice to change your dates and resorts. When I took this membership I was promised 1 free week from RCI also same case is there also you never get dates and resorts as per your wish but only advices. They have a smart executives also they will never misbehave they will politely say no to everything of yours. In four years I have taken only one week holiday because I never got dates and resorts as per my wish. One week which I took also was after lot of problems and I was given no choice so I was in one way forced to take resort as per there wish here also. I have spent almost Dhs 30, 000.00 money to get club Mahindra membership if same money I would have kept in bank and spent only the interest of the same amount I would have got better deals than this one. In short I will suggest people not to take this membership because you guys will face problems, problems and problems only after taking this membership.My opinon is i have given money and take problem not membership.

                                The same clearly shows that the Due EMI is nil, which was contradicting with yourself and your collections departments who has contacted me and chasing me constantly regarding the so called 'Outstanding dues' from my end, which does not exist.

                                Please check the attachment below and clear your doubts; let me assure youy that I am constantly being hounded by 8-10 collection agents from your company's end which is nothing bur HARASSING a genuine client.

                                I expect a revert from your end stating that there are no dues towards all the above mentioned transactions within the next 24 hours, failing which I will initiate legal proceedings against Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited.

                                The idea behind enrolling for the membership of Club Mahindra is to enjoy peaceful and memorable holidays with the near and dear ones; Now, because of the issues created by your internal accounts / collections team, I am unable to reserve my holidays with your office. My previous 3 requests for confirmations were declined by your booking team stating that 'you have an outstanding amount and no bookings can be done without clearing the dues'... which is an outrageous way of handling a client.

                                Even recently a month back, I tried booking a holiday at your Pondicherry resort; as per the call center there are no vacancies available at the resort and did not process my request; however, when we called the resort directly, the reception said that you can even walk in and that we can offer you a 20% discount on the rack rate if you are a club mahindra member and that there are hardly any rooms; so no prior reservations required etc.

                                Your company should immediately stop such 'two faced' approach to your so called 'valuable' customers. The Club Mahindra organisations' face which we get to see prior to enrolling is totally different; now what we get to see is a totally different company; infact we are unfortunately coming across a greedy pig sort of an organisation, who will stoop to any level even if it means putting your customers under extreme duress and distress, bordering on embarassing the clients.

                                Tell me, in today's scenario, who can afford to make a reservation 6 months in advance for a local / regional holiday / vacation? Which world are you guys living in?

                                If you are not able to IMMEDIATELY stop this tamasha and give me a No-Dues clearance and also booking my reservations on priority, request you to refund my entire payments will date with interest (of course).

                                Expecting your revert within the next 24 hours, of be prepared for a legal recourse.

                                I am also in the same situation. I also suffer with the false commitment by the local official of the company. I was assured that in case of any adverse situation I can cancell my membership and the money paid till them will be refunded to me. but that didi not happen. I paid around Rs. 31000/- in three installments and now I am not willing to be a member of club mahindra as I was promised that three EMI will be kept on hold and no amount will be deducted. But in the very next month ECS RET CHARGES has been debited twice fro my bank account. A copy of may bank account was sent to the company as a proof of my complaint. Now I am denied the refund. I was fortunate that at the time of ECS PRESENTED, there was no sufficient fund otherwise I would have lost Rs.46000/- in place of Rs. 31000/-. I want money back at the earliest but it seems to be impossible.

                                despite repeated attempts to cancel the membership no.2548324 and constant follow up with the team we have neither been given a confirmation of the cancellation nor an answer to how the money is going to be refunded. we have been following up on this since the 26th of February 2014. We would like to resolve this professionally on a good faith basis, however if we do not get a response quickly we will need to go the legal route.
                                while you are very quick to take money from customers, the time and procedure required for cancellation and refund of money is extremely long.
                                the service has been unsatisfactory from the beginning and is a very bad reflection on such a big brand name.
                                We've also tried to register the complaint online on the website but keep getting an error message which prevents us from doing so.

                                  1. My membership no. 1612683 and i have deposited rs 36800.00. Due to certain personal problem i did not want to continue with the membership and wanted refund of amount. Ms indu of club mahindra has assured that she will personally look into the matter.

                                  2. Today, i received a call from club mahindra declining refund of amount on the ground that i have not cancelled the membership within 10 days as per agreement. I would like to state that during personal interaction i was never told that cancellation has to be done within 10 days in order to get refund, rather, i was told categorically that i can cancel the membership at any time and can get the refund.

                                  3. This is contrary to claim and not an professional attitude on the part of club mahindra.

                                  4. From this forum, may i again request for refund of amount without any further delay.

                                  I was called by Club mahindra office in kalayaninagar, pune stating that you have been choosen as a winner in lucky draw and invited with family.

                                  When i went there they made me sit there for 2 hours convincing me and at last trapped me into membership on 3rd March.

                                  Having discussed about the services and repo of services of the company, i decided to withdraw from membership and finally my membership was cancielled on 5th March 09 with a commitment from Member Relations that my membership will be refunded within 45 days.

                                  Since then I am calling them and writing them everyday but even after 110 days, I am getting no answers or my refund status.

                                  I have escalated it to their Regional Heads as well but have not received any confirmation till date.

                                  Pls let me know how to get my money back as the cost of follow up and interest of my credit card is adding up on a day to day basis.

                                  I bought a Club Mahindra membership (Member ID: 256687) on 7th August 2006 from one of their channel partners Wonderland Holidays, shop no 25 2nd floor hub mall, mumbai 400063 from their Sales executives Lokesh and Prince.

                                  I have made a total payment of Rs. 30,689 so far towards this membership however I asked them for a cancellation and have been denied with it and they also mentioned that the refund cannot be processed as the cancellation should have been made within 10 days of the membership.

                                  The reason why I want membership to be cancelled is
                                  1. They had committed to me that they will provide me 5 references for 7000 Rs. each but never provided those cheques.
                                  2. I tried to book a holiday in February 2007 but they denied me a holiday saying that my one month’s payment was not made however this was a free holiday that was awarded to me as part of my package and the payment for this had already been made by me.
                                  3. The sales executives made wrong commitments to sell the membership and once the payment was made I never got the reference cheques nor was I able to avail the holidays that I was entitled to.

                                  I want back the money that I had paid to them for the membership at the earliest.

                                  I have serious objections about the way the persons market the club mahindra membership.
                                  They try to show you that you are a lucky winner of holiday package. The fact is that all the people who fill up their coupen win, means there is no lucky draw at all. They only try to trap you.
                                  Secondly, when you go to their centre, they try to convince you for approximately 2 hours to take their membership.
                                  They also tell you that this offer is open for today only and you have to decide right now and not later. The fact is they are running this business for years and keep on saying that this offer is open for today only.
                                  He will never tell you any drawback, he will also tell u that this membership can be resold or can be hired but later on if you want to sell your membership, you only have to find a buyer, means you become a marketing person of their product.
                                  Thirdly if you become their member and try to contact that persoon for booking of holiday, he will not be avaailable or he will not call you back as his duty of trapping you is over .

                                  This is what I have faced. Now I have paid more than 50000 rupees to them and I have never received any service from them and I want to cancell my membership but they say I can not get any amount as 60 percent of my membership cost that is around 90000 is not refundable . i have paid them around 58000 so I will have a negative balance If I cancell my membership .
                                  This is what their answer.
                                  Means A company having millions of capital are making innocent persons victims. A middle class person, who has paid more than 50000 Rs. and a company having milllions of capital, there is no comparison but they are not ready to give my money back. Tilll now I have received their answer as such.

                                  Today, I received telephonic call from Club Mahindra that the refund of Rs 36800/- can not be given to me since I had not cancelled the booking within 10 days.                                   I have had a membership with Club Mahindra which is over 4 years now. I have made the initial payments and did not wish to continue my membership owing to personal financial situation. I had discussed this with Club Mahindra then and they had referred to a clause which states the amount paid by a member will be forfeited upon cancellation. However, I now wish to pursue a consumer complaint against them against this one sided clause of forfeiting the amount paid. Especially considering i have never used their club facilities or availed any other benefit from them.

                                  This is particularly important now since this amount is critical for my financial stability in the short term, which is the reason I am pursuing it again after so many years.
