Same thing happened with me.our remote was not working but I was not sure, I thought there might be another problem may be in set top box.so I called customer care, they logged my complaint I told me service person will visit, I confirm charges from them for remote 275, though he didn't told me any info about 200 rs service charge, I'm having that call recording with me, engineer solve this issue within 1 min by changing channels from his remote, and suggested me to buy new remote, fir which he said 320 rs I hv to pay, and the remote which I will get was not same as original one, so I didn't take it from him. He didn't asked for any charges, he simply went away.i thought that was great service.Today when i recharged my account then I came to know that my account is not going to start until I pay 200 extra, customer care said 200rs has beed debited from your account.ohhh man this not my bank account...you people are doing a professional fraud.I will not going to suggest Videocon to anyone.its not abt 200rs, but the way ur taking it from customers without our knowledge.i am guessing now by doing this how much they are earning in single day.its a business based on cheating.
