This is my 3rd complaint regarding this issue. I purchased an item on 15th October. I didn't receive my item so I claimed a refund but even after several reminders, calls and emails, I have got no response from them.     I bought a WD Hard disk on 14 Oct through ebay and from the first day the disk is not is not working. I requested for return of the product within 30 days(return policy period of ebay.in)but on continuous follow ups ebay asked us to contact WD for the same. On contacting WD, the WD rejected the request giving some other reasons. Request you to intervene

      I placed order for a stereo extension cable with paisapay id:[protected] on Oct 21, 2015. A refund claim was registered on eBay with id:1387447 on Oct 29th.The refund for the said product was approved on Nov 3rd as the seller couldn't deliver on his promise.Unfortunately the refund amount(i.e Rs 260/-) has not been credited back to my bank account so far. The said issue has been put up with eBay customer care executive innumerous times via phone but in vain. Its been more than 3 weeks since my refund was approved and the money has not been credited back to me so far. I am totally dissatisfied and disgruntled by the fact that no one from the eBay escalation team has contacted me so far to resolve the issue. I haven't received a response so far from eBay to an email sent on Nov 21st regarding the plight am facing because of the eBay's callous attitude in resolving the said issue.

      Its been more than 72 hours and no communication so far from eBay in resolving the aforementioned issue. Its really disheartening to see how a renowned eCommerce firm like eBay is taking their customers for a ride.If eBay couldn't resolve an issue in the first place why they promise otherwise.

        Sir, I buy from ebay and get a defected Cheers Smart5 mobile. On that date i have raised a complain. After 4 days Ebay care officer says that i have to go to the customer care of the mobile company which is nearly 500 km from my home. My paisapay id is [protected].

        We regret to know that the product you've purchased has stopped working.

        We at eBay provide 30 days of purchase protection i.e. eBay Guarantee*.

        But as per eBay policies products with Manufacturer warranty are excluded from eBay Guarantee* coverage as you can visit nearest Authorized service center of the Brand and get the issue resolved. So we would request you to visit the nearest service center and get the issue resolved.


        However, if the item that you received was dead on arrival or fake you may provide Declaration letter from the authorized service center to [protected]@ebay.com within 48 hours stating the same. If you fail to provide the requested document within the stipulated time we would have to go ahead and close this case from our end.

          I purchased Product from Ebay on 17.10.2015 against PaisayPay ID : [protected].

          Courier Company FedEx has wrongly charged additional service charges of Rs.100, even though it was free shipping products.

          I paid two components to FedEx 1) Octroi and 2) Additional Service Charges of Rs.100.

          My compliant is related to Additional Service Charges of Rs.100. Why it was charged wrongly by Ebay/FedEx..

          Initially, I contacted to Ebay, where I was misguided by Ebay saying that Vendor is responsible for courier. When I contacted Vendor, he said that Ebay is responsible for courier.

          Again, I contacted Ebay. There was unpleasant reply from Ebay that the system is not working at this moment, so we cannot able to help.

          Again I contacted today 24.11.2015. My call was put on hold for few minutes, then later on, it was cut by Customer Care.

          So, I am not satisfied with this service quality of Ebay.

          Ebay is useless service company / online product company, having no ethics in the business.

          Kindly note that Rs.100 is not critical amount.But for the interest of general public, I brings this matter for public notice. So that other customers can take care before buying online products from Ebay.

          Beware of Ebay !!!

              Issue - The shades are supposed to roll back into the body automatically by spring action. As from the photos, out of 4, 1 was dead on arrival, not working. Another 2 stopped working after a day. With 75% fault, I raised a claim. Ebay (Vandana) initially said that they will help in reverse pickup.But later backed out. On 20th the claim adjuster called me. I missed the call and they just sent an email for shipping the product. I tried with my local courier guys and they wouldnt do it.

              The box size is 100 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm and has a weight of 3 kg. My local DTDC and DHL outlet have refused to ship it since they only ship small parcels and documents. They have asked me to go the regional head office for shipment.

              Since the product is faulty from the seller side, the seller should arrange for a reverse pickup. If he is not able to then ebay should do it. But it is amazing how you guys just put it on the buyer.

              On 20th a claim adjuster called me. I was busy and couldnt pickup the phone. Without trying again, the claim adjuster just communicated about the reverse shipment to be done by me and that too within 5 days. When I saw the email, I called your helpline where Ebay (Sahil) confirmed that he will arrange for a call back from claim adjuster on Saturday (21st) between 1pm and 4pm. The call never came till today (24th).

              I called back on 23rd and this time Ebay (Mritunjay) promised to get the claim adjuster call the same day. The call is yet to come.

              Today on 24th, I called back and this time ebay (Lokesh) cooly said that I need to do the shipment without even bothered to connect me to the claim adjuster. He says that Mumbai (buyer location) and New Delhi (seller location are not serviceable for reverse pickup

              Is this what Ebay guys are up to? providing faulty products from 3rd class vendors and not taking responsibility?

              This is the response which I have been hearing from your team since raising the issue. Please look into your logs and let this forum know if since when I have been following up and if at all your are going to provide a resolution.

              By resolution I dont mean that you again tell me to ship it. Like i have mentioned the box dimensions are 100cm X 30 cm x 30cm and pretty much rejected by local courier guys. I'll add the image of the box also tomorrow.

              I dont have the time to search for their bigger offices for dropping the box off.

              In fact all e-commerce websites provide reverse logistics. Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal; you name it and they do it.

                But while unboxing it i was pretty sure the the iphone supplied by the seller is a used one as already i am using a iphone for 1years. After unboxing i found that there is a dialled no which wad not supposed to be there. However i restarted the phone and it was updated to latest version. Siri was also responding. Hence i was pretty sure that its not a clone. To confirm it further I contacted apple and checked through imei no. I was shocked as the search reasult showed " OUR RECORDS INDICATE THAT THIS PRODUCT HAVE BEEN REPLACED. PLEASED PROVIDE THE SERIAL NUMBER FOR YOUR REPLACEMENT PRODUCT TO FIND THE SUPPORT AND WARRANTY COVERAGE INFORMATION." I was shocked and immediately contacted apple via phone. They confirmed me that it was supposed to be at service station and it was not supposed to be sold either. There is no guarantee for this product also. There was one surprise left. Apple people told that it is a white iphone if 32 GB. I contacted ur cust care . Mr bikalp was there and he too confirmed its a 32 gb white iphone. Now my question is whether u people are supposed to sell fake/refurbished item in the name of original new product. I have gifted this one to my in laws. What about the social harassment i faced. Hence I want compassionate of my harrassment.

                    I Purchased a product from ebay, the product I received was a defective one. Therefore I asked them to Give me my money back.
                    Ebay refund policy is for 20 days.
                    These guys always asked for uploading the photos even after the photos were uploaded and they shall ask each and every time I call them.
                    For connecting me to their Claim officer it took more then 12 days, and the claim officer even didnot revert back the status.
                    all this stuff took 19 days.
                    And finally on 19th day i received a call to upload a copy of product couriered by me and asked me to wait for 5 more days.
                    So how can i trust these guys.
                    i am fed up of them

                      Dear sir/madam, i have bought lava kkt mobile from ebay on 7 november, with paisapay id [protected]..but i recieved the product after a long delay on nov 16. on same day i have filed a complaint regarding the problem in the mobile...that there lot of disturbance while calling, , that is speaker problem, , , and frequently loosing of network because of defective handset...(claim id..1441643), and asked for replacement...but they refused for it, ..and they are saying go to lava service centre regarding the problems which is not possible for me s it is very far...and i contacted lava service centre by phoneand they told it may take one month to get it repaired!!!sir i want handset replacement or refund ..so kindly help in this regard thank u dr.sandeep

                          Date of incident - 1st october 2015. I received a product from ebay on 24th september which was not working. On 1st October, I filed a return request and asked for my refund. for next 20 days there was no action taken despite me calling you many times. on 24th October I got a mail from [protected]@ebay, com who has undersigned himself as Vinay Pandey, SME logistics, Ebay.in. Vinay wrote in the mail that a fedex person will come to my home to collect the item and I have to give him the printout that he had sent me. they have received the product and did not refund my money. this complain is pending for last 50 days.                             Everytime when my parcel is sent through bluedart courier at hoshiarpur the workers at hoshiarpur bludart office refuse to deliver my parcel at Nasrala village, which is an advanced area on jalandhar-hoshiarpur national highway in punjab. There is 'internatiolal tractor limited' industry in our area and many other advance companies are in our area. Courier services express bees, express ways, om logistics all deliver produts at our home in Nasrala and nearby areas. But your bluedart's workers are arrogant and refuse to deliver parcel at home. Please solve this problem so that bluedart service may competete other couriers services in our area and also make bluedart service easeful and convenient for us. Thank you.

                              Sir i placed an order for washing machine (PaisaPay ID : [protected]) of cost 13053/- on 22 th Oct 2015 on ebay.in. after that i communicated with their customer care people regarding the product on 31st oct 2015, they asked me to wait another 1week, so that they will deliver the product, but i didn't receive the product, and again i contacted them and asked to refund the money, but they are simply bluffing me by telling that i will get a call back in 48 hrs, but its been 29 days till date, but i didn't get any call back from them, i frequently contacted their customer service people and requested them to arrange the call back regarding the refund. please help me to get my money back.

                              Same thing happened to me, last year I orderd an item and haven't received neither the item nor the refund till now...I responded to ebay with all the required details like they have asked you...but they didn't respond ...It's really very disappointing... Have never expected this from ebay customer service.

                                  I had purchased 1 TB HDD TOSHIBA LAPTOP INTERNAL HARD DISK DRIVE SATA 2.5" WITH 2 YR WARRANTY" (Item ID:[protected] on 20 oct 15 but received an empty package i had placed claim againt this to Ebay.in with claim Id 1368467 on dt:24 oct 15 which have to take maximum of 20 days to resolve the case and initiate refund.
                                  But, till date i didn't received any resolution from ebay.in isnpite of this when i called them their representative always ask me to keep patient for 24 to 48 hrs.
                                  Is 27 days gone to raise claim but i didn't receive any reasonable response.

Date Remarks 19th Oct : Placed an Order of Micromax 4 G phone, E455 23rd Oct : Received a Dead Phone 26th Oct : Received DOA Certificate from Micromax Service Centre 27th Oct : Uploaded the DOA letter and a case was opened by Ebay ( mail received ), saying the claim team will call me 29th Oct : Receive a call from Ebay saying that they are closing the case, and I need to contact the seller Mrs.Ekta Khosla 29th Oct : I contacted Mrs.Ekta and she mailed me ( Mail ID-E Member Mobiles ) to courier the Dead Phone to her place in Ghaziabad.. 29th Oct : Warning showed in Mail :Do not respond to the sender if this message requests that you complete the transaction outside of eBay. This type of offer is against eBay policy, may be fraudulent, and is not covered by the eBay Buyer Protection Program 29th Oct : So, post the receiving the mail from Ekta; I called up Ebay Call Centre - SR#1-[protected] - Mr.Sachin received, and mentioned that I should not send it to the seller directly, as it is against Ebay policy.And he is arranging for a call from claim team and a Ebay courier person will be sent to do the pick up.And confirmed that Ebay will be refunding the money as requested by me. 2nd Nov : I receive mail from Ebay, mentioning the case has been closed and contact the seller Mrs.Ekta Khosla.There had been no calls, from your claim team from 29th-2nd Nov, for discussion, before sending the mail on 2nd mentioning case closure. 2nd Nov : I again call up your care centre team and ask for the communication gap that has happened, in your service team internally. They mention, that they do not have any control on claim team, and again open the case, mentioning that there is issue from Ebay side; as the the claim department had not seen the open case and should call me within 72 hours, and proceed with the refund ; SR#1-[protected]..(The time slot provided has passed by and I have not received a call from claim team. 3rd Nov : Reloaded the DOA certificate to Inseller verification expecting a call//resolution.Receive a auto revertal from Ebay saying the claim team should get back to me in next 5 days….Still waiting for the call. 19th Nov : Again called up your call centre to find out, as to why isnt there any call coming to me from Claims team ( SR1#[protected] )...The concerned TL reverted saying that they are sorry and I again need to contact the seller.. Now my DOA certificate has expired..                                       Sir/Madam,
                                      I was purchased a Power bank from Ebay and it was a faulty one. I registered a complaint in Ebay desk and they provide me a coupon code for the amount I was paid to purchase any other product and I used this coupon code provided to order a Earphone but the seller cancelled the order and Ebay gave me the same coupon code as refund again. And the problem here is one coupon code is only be used once. And I was complained to ebay about this issue and they provide me a resolution that they will provide a new coupon code and they said to wait for 7 to 10 days for the same. But every week(after 7 days) I would call to Ebay but same response again and again. I was bought the product (Extra Bass Earphone Sony MDR-EB30EX) on 23rd September 2015. And today is 19th November 2015. Still they did not took any action regarding this issue.
