Hi team,

We had a offer on 21st january for 10% cashback on citibank for minimum order of 5000.

I had ordered for few products in flipkart for 5875 on 21st january. Out of that i returned one product for the value of 735 due to fitting issue.

And i requested for replacement of one more product (Product price is 717) due to incorrect size shipment, again i received wrong product for second time. Later i contacted flipkart customer care, they told me to raise refund request due to non availability of the particular size. Before raising refund request i checked with them whether i will receive 10% of cashback in citibank after i return this product (Due to the total value is less than 5000). They confirmed me on call that i will receive the 10% cashback. Now they are telling me that i will not get the cashback.

Initially i wanted replacement of the product instead of refund, but the seller seems like cheater they have sent me wrong size product both the times. Now i don't have option for replacement also.

Please help me on this.

Hi Team,

in this complaint, i am writing complete story of this issue till date(10th February).

this issue is regarding the order ID OD[protected] purchased on 21st January 2018 with my Citibank credit card under the offer 10% cashback on 9th April 2018.

As per the offer if I purchase for above 5000 rupees on 21st January I will get 10% cashback on 9th April 2018.

I have ordered below 7 Items in the above mentioned order ID.

1. RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Maroon Shirt – 439 rupees
2. RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Black Shirt – 717 rupees
3. RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Blue Shirt (Royal Blue) – 716 rupees
4. RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Blue Shirt – 716 rupees
5. Indian Terrain Slim Fit Men's Beige Trousers – 857 rupees
6. Peter England Slim Fit Men's Beige Trousers – 735 rupees
7. Tibre Slim Fit Men's Black Trousers – 1695 rupees

Out of the above 7 items I have no issue with 4 products and I have issue with other 3 products(mentioned below).

1. I have returned “Peter England Slim Fit Men's Beige Trousers” due to fitting issue(refund received and issue is closed).

2. I have requested for replacement of “RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Black Shirt”( Return ID:[protected]), reason for replacement is different size shirt delivered to me (received 38th inch size shirt, but ordered 36th inch size shirt). I received replacement shirt on 2nd February, but again they delivered me 38th inch size shirt.

3. I have requested for replacement of “RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Maroon Shirt”(Return ID:[protected]), reason for replacement is different brand shirt delivered to me (received Deeksha brand shirt). I received replacement shirt on 6th February, but again they have delivered me different brand shirt instead of RG designer shirt.

After receiving wrong product for second time I contacted Flipkart customer care through mail as well as through phone call. They told me to opt for refund instead of replacement, but I refused to opt for refund option because the total purchase value should be more than 5000 to be eligible for 10% cashback. And If I opt for refund then I will lose my 10% cashback on Citibank.

Now I don’t have option of replacement for “RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Black Shirt” in the site ( I believe the shirt is out of stock), and for the “RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Maroon Shirt” stock is available on site but it is not available in replacement section for me (even though the seller is same in both the places).

I had many conversations with flipkart customer care and each person is giving different answers for my questions, below are some of the scenarios.

1. 3 customer care employees agreed that I will get 10% cashback even after I return those 2 incorrect shipment, and some said I will not be eligible if I return those products.
2. Some people said that Citibank is the responsible for cashback, and some said it is based on seller and flipkart not the Citibank.

Now I am unable to trust Flipkart customer care people.

Hence I have written all my questions below I request Flipkart to answer all the questions through mail.

1. Why did the seller sent me wrong product twice and what is the action you are going to take on seller for shipping wrong/fake products?
2. Why should I lose my money when the seller has shipped wrong/fake product?
3. How can we trust on Flipkart when we get multiple answers from them for same issue?
4. Why did your employees confirm me that I will receive cashback even after I return those 2 products?
5. Why Flipkart doesn’t take responsibility to make sure customer receive the correct product as described in the site?
6. When are you going to deliver me correct product?
7. Why don’t you have escalation path for any issues?

Customer raised a complaint because he didn't received the correct size of the product. We interacted, apologies for the inconvenience and informed customer that we can take the return request but customer told he don't want to return the product he wants replacement because he purchase the product in the offer and if it will return then the offer can be void. Closing the complaint from our end.
the issue is still not resolved, i had issue with 2 products one with wrong size and other with wrong brand.

after the interaction i was assured that a strict action will be taken by the flipkart against seller for shipping wrong/fake product.

but unfortunately i don't see any changes in the action. i had placed new order and again i received wrong/fake product from same seller.

i would like to know from flipkart what was the action taken against the seller and why he is still selling fake products?

    Dear sir /madam.
    I have registered my complaint about greenline mg-009 1000 w mixer.
    Product is damaged inside the motor part, also there is no any electric connection shown to start the mixture.
    It is 3rd time i have register my complaint at your ccs on phone.
    Our products received me from one last month back, in between this only single person come to check the product. And he is also refused due to not able to take with him because product box size is bigger and he has small bike.. Rubbish.
    And next day i saw that automatically it is rejected by some one without concern/contact with us.

    I have personally requested to all ccs person to get follow up for pickup the product from us.
    I hv received last sms as below...
    Sms as below...
    "dear customer - your request for reverse pickup of your product greenline mg-009 1000 w mixer grinder under order numberl2a53lqmgjrckumy1l2m9vi7qao is in dispatch. We will pick this product by end of today. Track your shipment here: http://www.delhivMg-009 1000 w mixer ery.com/track/package/[protected]"
    No one contacted me, 2 time auto recorded phone call received from you for new pick up date registration and that is continue postponed...
    My request is don't play the game in between you and your pick up agencies.
    And directly send some one to pick up this damage pis from us urgently and refund the same on urgent basis.
    Hope for your response.
    If i have not receive any feedback and action from you then i have others options to get it done.

        I ordered a lenovo k8 note from flipkart on feb 02 but while recieving my phone on feb 03 i found out that a issue due to front camera bcoz we are order the phone of dual front camera 13*13 but we are recieving a single front camera. I have 10 day replacement policy and i want to replace my phone due to front camera problem. So replace my phone as soon as possible.

          Hi,

          I have ordered the washing machine on 21st of january and the last date for the delivery was 27th of january. But till now i have not received the product. Even twice i have given complaint then also i am not getting any confirmation from the team.

          I have tried to check the status of the order its showing out for the delivery.

            The worst online shopping experience that i have ever got from flipkart :
            Its like a long story but its mandatory to write so that people will know how fraud can be happened in online shopping.
            I have placed the order on 21st jan i. E. The dell vostro 3568 laptop and the expected delivery date was on 25 th jan 2018.
            Even though the order was prepaid, i didn't get the product on time i. E. On / before 25th jan. On 26th jan onwards, i started tracking the reason behind this. Why it was delayed, whats the problem and blah blah...
            Then i have got the response from the customer care that your address is out of delivery area. On which i have already received more than 10 orders on time in last 6 months.
            So the customer care was like we are escalating this issue, since you have already got other product delivery successfully in this month, you should also get this product to be delivered with in 2 business days.
            Then i waited for 2 days and again i have raised complain to customer support through mail, but their response was like the logistics department is not responding so we can not do anything until their response comes, just wait again for 2 3 days.
            Again on 30th jan, i talked with customer support executive regarding this issue, but response was same as above (Logistic department is not responding). So lastly i have told to customer support that i will go and collect the product from logistic, just give me the logistic address which was more than 8 km far from me.
            In the afternoon (30th jan), i reached there to collect my product, but the tragedy was already happened related to this product.
            The security guard and 2 of them delivery guys were telling me the story happened in that morning,
            One unknown person from pune (As per their aadhar address) has come to receive my order with the product orderid (Dell vostro 3568 laptop) and he was telling them that "bhai gharpe nahi hai iske liye mujhe bheja hai". He shared his aadhar proof with them.
            Lots of questions arises :
            1. How did this person get my product order id
            2. How that person had got the details of the order, where it is located and so on...
            But it was my luck on that day, my face was known to one of the delivery boy, who normally comes to deliver the flipkart delivery. Then they have confirmed that he is a fraud and they called police.
            Coincidently, i had also gone there, on the same day. I got to hear this tragedy. And this is only because the careless of the flipkart.
            @flipkart could you please give me the answer of the above two questions, the security guard was telling me that the unknown person is working in the customer care of the flipkart only.

                We have received the product in broken condition. We have requested for replace ment but there is no result from your side. I several times but we got reply that technician will come for inspection. First, we got the date 1st feb, then the date became 5th and then became 7th feb.
                In that case, please cancel my order and pick your product back & deposit the amount in my account immidiately.
                From today, i'll never order anything from flipkart.

                    I ordered a lenovo from flipkart on jan 28th bur found out that there were issues with touch. A technician was supposed to visit by feb3rd but no one came here. Now the team asks me to wait longer. Fraud and waste of money. They don't really care about customers. My 10 day replacement policy is also going to over. The seller was mydukaan

                      # this flipkart and his sellers, making people fool, doing fraud nothing else, worst customer support i have ever seen in my life, uneducated people sitting in front of the systems talking abnormally the same thing from last 1 week. This is very annoying, this is the third time they have internally canclled my pickup request and again creating a new request asking me to wait wait till 7th. I have got the wrong product, local shoe which does not have any brand (300 rupees local shoe, cheap product). I have raised the escalation regarding refund then and there only, but flipkart customer does not know anything, just rasing complins again and again instead of providing resolution.

                      I have all the photos with me recording with me this time i will got to consumer court.
                      Every time delievey boy comes and tells me that we have not got any mail regarding pickup.
                      I mean this is # then why are you coming if you did not get any mail?
                      This is my 8th time i have talked to flipkart for the same but did not get any resolution.
                      I have been a regualar user of flipkart but this is my last time i am using this app.

                      Your doing good flipkart making people fool just like shopclues.
                      There is no difference between you and shopclues even they have better customer support the you.

                        Pathetic service by flipkart, ordered black colour weigh scale and they mis-shipped the product and yellow colour product was delivered. Unable to view measured weight with a very bright led light on yellow product, i requested to initiate a return on the product and the pick up guy did not take it saying the reason mentioned for return is not appropriate. Again 2nd time i initiated return and again this time the pick up guy did not accept the package saying the reason mentioned for return is not appropriate. He asked me to select mis-shipment reason which is nowhere available in the list.. Very clearly i mentioned all this in the comments section still the guy kept on saying that the reason selected in not appropriate and he again cancelled my return.. Its not a matter of rs.331 product but the service provided by flipkart is so pathetic that will never recommend anyone to buy anything on flipkart.. Till the time their so called protocol is not followed they will not take the product back..

                          The merchant on flipkart has cancelled the order by themselves. Flipkart said the money is refunded to the bank. But when checked with the bank, they said only a partial refund amount is received from flipkart.in addition, flipkart is not providing arn number for this transaction. There is no use in interacting with flipkart as i have already spent more 1.5 months on this issue with several emails and calls. This refund issue is with flipkart order id: od[protected]. All the other details / transaction reference numbers are available with queries raised with flipkart customer support against this order id.

                          There is no update except for the standard copy paste statement of 'We will revert on it'.

                          Earlier, I had several interactions with Flipkart customer service through email on this issue. Every time they comeback and post the same / ready made answer. I am using the Citibank account service from more than 16 years and never had any issues with the transactions, and not even for 1 paisa. The Flipkart is saying that they have done the full refund to the bank account!

                          My question is, why I received only part of the refund when Flipkart has done full reversal. Something wrong with Flipkart payment Gateway system.

                          The Flipkart has contacted us against this post. But we never agreed or said to close this case.

                          Here are some more statements and questions to Flipkart.

                          When our refund issue was not resolved even after several email communication with Flipkart, I posted the above message on public board. This is to inform the public about the issues with Flipkart.

                          As a reply to this public post, Flipkart has come back again with similar response and now Flipkart has included a new requirement, they are asking for my bank account statement!

                          Here I have some open statements and questions to Flipkart.

                          1. For the Flipkart Order (for which the partial refund is still pending), the total order value was Rs. 1197. This bill amount was presented in full by Flipkart to the payment gateway and the same amount was paid from the Citibank.

                          2. Earlier, when the Flipkart customer service was contacted about this refund issue, they have admitted after getting details from their payment gateway that an amount of Rs. 399 was refunded.

                          3. Earlier, I have submitted Flipkart with a soft copy of the response received from Citibank about the refund amount credited to our Citibank account. Citibank has confirmed in that letter that Rs 1197 was debited from our account and only Rs 399 was reversed to our account (i.e. the refund).

                          4. By referring to the above points, I have question to Flipkart that, how Flipkart can say that their payment gateway has received only Rs 399 against the order / billed amount of Rs 1197 ?

                          5. Second question to Flipkart is that, how and/or why the Citibank will make the payment of only Rs. 399 to Flipkart against the billed amount of Rs. 1197 ? The payment should be either Rs. zero or Rs. 1197.

                          6. Third question to Flipkart, Flipkart has admitted that their payment gateway has processed a refund of Rs. 399. So, if the money was not received by Flipkart from the Citibank then then why did their payment gateway made the refund even for Rs. 399 ?

                          The balance refund is not a big amount. But, I wanted public to know the issues and pain in interacting with Flipkart.

                            This is regarding a return of a product (Rayban wayfarers). I ordered rayban sunglasses from flipkart in december. But due to size issues i had to return the product. Since 11 th december i am trying to return the product but nothing could be done. They have some miscommunication with their pickup team which is leading to enhance my problem further. I am bearing a loss of 4.5k. This is the first team my trust on online shopping has dropped! Please help me to get my refund!!

                              I bought an onida 109.22cm (43 inch) full hd led tv in flipkart and the product was delivered on 23rd jan 2018 at 2.00 pm to our neighbour. But i received via mail for 5 pm to 9 pm delivery slot and it was confirmed. When i came home at 7 pm i checked for the product and found the tv panel was broken, the carton box was unpinned and the wall mount stand was in front of the tv panel inside the box. Surely it was a returned product by another customer. Immediately i mailed to flipkart stating that i received a damaged product. Technician was scheduled twice but was cancelled for a silly reason stating that the phone call was not attended. Again after lodging a complaint, two days later on 27th jan 18 the technician came and confirmed the broken product.
                              But now the replacement for the above damaged product has been cancelled on 28th jan 18 at 7.54 pm. I don’t know the reason why it has been cancelled.
                              The product was actually delivered to my neighbour at 2 pm but it has been mentioned that the product was received by me at 7.30 pm in flipkart delivery status and we have cctv footage in our flat too for the proof. And i took a video of opening the carton box also.
                              Regarding this again i contacted the customer care but he was not able to answer the reason for product replacement cancellation and about the technician report but he assured for the product replacement and initiated the process from the first by placing new replacement order, technician scheduling etc and given a deadline as 6th feb 18.

                              And moreover i am an active customer of flipkart and have a clean purchase history. But the seller is not so, his review is out of 10 he has sold two damaged product and has cheated the flipkart customers. Inspite of this, i purchased the tv only because of flipkart has assured the product.
                              The flipkart has to take necessary action against the seller and deliver the replacement product as scheduled on feb 06 2018.

                              Thanks to consumer complaints for such quick initiative against this issue. Once uploaded the issue in Ur website, Flipkart contacted us and promised to resolve the issue within 24 hrs and they did so. Now I got my damaged product replaced. thanks to Flipkart too.

                                Based on the info in their app. I placed an order for a new grey mobile. I received the consignment on 5th january. On opening the cover (Not the box which is still to be opened) i found from the label on the box that the colour is golden. So i asked for a replacement which was accepted. However a couple of days before delivery the replacement was cancelled by flipkart; when i complained it was reinstated with a delivery promise within 10 days; however it was cancelled again and reinstated on my complaint. Today i again got a message from flipkart that the replacement is cancelled. Meanwhile i checked with lenovo about the serial no. Appearing on the box. According to them the mobile with that number is refurbished and is not new. So flipkart has delivered a second hand mobile instead of new one.
                                I need a new replacement or refund.

                                  There was an offer 20 % plus 10% cash back so i have ordered it the next day i have received a message stating my order was cancelled without any reason. When i called the customer service the lady was so arrogant could please some one help me to teach a good lesson to them.

                                  Could someone help me on this will this order be processed, it seems it is a breach of contract how to fight with this kind of of issues

                                  Hello this is regarding an update on the order

                                  As my order got approved and it was supposed to ship on sunday, but flipkart has cancelled my order because there was an increase in price so i launched a complaint about the same. I got a call from flipkart stating "sorry we can't help you in this. So after a long pause they told me that they gonna pay a compensation in return of 500.
                                  My only concern is that my order got approved and placed amount got deducted from my account, i felt like i got cheated if you guys do really care about customers don't promote fake promotions.

                                  Am expecting a product should be shipped at same price. Or am gonna take this further i've all the proofs.

                                      Sir on date 02 feb 2018 i ordered some item on flipkart.com also seller was flipkart assured means flipkart is responsible for the seller. Now when i ordered 5 items from flipkart with their flikart assured seller they also shipped all the product but at evening they messege your order has been cancelled and wrote this price mismatch how its happens that so many product is wrong listed if listed then its their problem if i have ordered and paid its their responsibility to deliver it.
                                      And also they have canceled the product and wrote their product is canceled by you (Customer) while i have not canceled, they are telling lie
                                      Also whole day i waste my time in order and wait to ship also my amout is now stuck with them for 1 week, its not the first time they have done this they are doing so many time same thing.
                                      So request to you please say them to deliver that product which i have ordered also only on that price at which i have ordered.
