I placed my order for the book on september 15, 2017, following up everyday with flipkart over phone and email to ensure that the product reaches me on time. After almost 4 weeks of empty pacification by flipkart i see on the promised date of delivery, october 9, my order has been cancelled by the seller. I have made over 20 calls to flipkart to urge them to request the seller to ship the product, and over 6 emails. None of them have been of any use. More than anything, i am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed by the attitude of flipkart towards the entire issue, which is essentially, "yes, the seller cancelled it after one month. So?"
The phone calls and regular follow ups were being made for that very purpose. That this order, which was extremely, extremely important for me to reach on time, does not fail to do so. If instead of offering empty words of placation they'd actually contacted the seller when they'd not shipped the product after three weeks, as i'd requested, then i wouldn't be in the mess that i am today.

Flipkart Customer Care's response We have interacted with the customer, apologized for the issue, as there was certain logistics issue, the item could not be delivered to the customer and had to cancel the same. Request to place a fresh order and will try our best to get it delivered on time. Closing the case.
