Received defective mobile phone moto e4 plus on july 19, 2017. Within a couple of days, i faced hanging, touch screen issues and the microphone was not working. When i raised the replacement request (As per the company policy only replacement was possible - no return), a technician arrived after 4 days. He saw the problem and identified the same as a software issue. To solve the issue, he had the phone - factory reset-ed without even informing me, which resulted in deletion of a few very important data of mine. And then he updated the false status in their website as 'no issue found'. There is a difference between 'no issue found' and 'finding and fixing an issue'. A phone which was just 7 days old had to be factory reset-ed twice in order to make it function. The replacement policy of the company doesn't mention that the phone will be reset-ed if any issue is found.
Still then the issue persisted and when contacted the website, they said that their replacement period was over and i would have to go to a service center.
Now, software issues in a mobile handset very much comes under their replacement policy. Fixing the software issue cannot be an alternative to replacement. A brand new phone should function correctly and should not require a forceful factory reset/repair.
Flipkart has delivered a defective phone and on top of that they are harassing me with the return.

Updated by ssengupta6140 1.NO TRANSPARENCY in Flipkart. My feedback was not posted for the product - since it didn't mention good things about the product. Negative reviews are not posted and because of this the customer doesn't get the true feedback regarding a low quality product.
2. The replaced product was scheduled to be delivered by aug 4, but still now it has not been delivered. A reputed brand like Flipkart is harassing people like this..
Moreover, an executive named V Prakash behaved rudely and arrogantly when spoken to about this issue.
Please revert at the earliest.

Flipkart Customer Care's response We had interacted with the customer, as per customers complaint, initiated refund and it has been completed and customer issue is been resolved. Closing the case from our end.
another number [protected] is asking me for my registered mobile number and is not accepting when I am enterng the same in it.
