I have been making regular payments with Hathway without any defaulting. Few months back I got a call with an offer which I accepting claiming to change my modem and wifi router free of cost as it will give me 2 mbps speed with the current broadband offer of 11 Gb per month and post the usage low speed. However, they charged me Rs. 1000 extra is the following bill i.e. instead of my regular Rs. 785, they sent a bill of Rs. 1785/- for which I wrote a complaint and after 1 month it got resolved with several follow ups and calls However, the late fees that were incurred due to non payment of their requested amount is still shown as outstanding month on month and they lower the speed suddenly in the middle of the month Need your help to resolve this matter Dinesh baria [protected]@yahoo.com [protected]

Further to my complaint above, unfortunately there is no success. I did get a call from Hathway and was promised a call back from their supervisor however this did not happen and post which no update. Again this month I got the bill with unauthorised charges levied

    I am facing this problem with Hathway Mumbai from more than 6 months now. Every three to four days there is no connectivity. Every time the complaint lodged the customer care executive provides a complaint no. and says that it will be attended by the engineer but no one visits our place. Then suddenly the Internet is working and again the same problem after another three days. Then last week their executive called and advised us that since a long time we are facing the problem with connectivity it would be better for us to upgrade to 50Mbps download plan where they will be changing the modem and thats it. But again we are facing the same problem. I really want hathway to solve the problem with their servers with Immediate effect. Awaiting your kind reply for the same.

    I have been a customer of hathway internet for the last 7 years or more. In the last one year, the internet connectivity has glaring discrepancies. Every alternate day, the internet is defunct for 5-6 hours, especially so in working hours. I have made atleast 15 calls to the customer care in the last 3 months for the same. The stagnant replies from the company have gotten to my nerve. I am always told that the server is down and there's some maintenance work going on. Do these people carry out maintenance twice a week and that too in working hours without any prior notice. On june 27th, internet stopped working at 11:30 pm and the service was resumed in the morning at 7:00. Again, it stopped functioning from noon to 11:30 the next day, 28th june. What is the use of paying so much for unlimited internet when it is not going to work round the clock.


    Also, i have complained more than thrice about a login screen which appears for no rhyme and reason. In the middle of giving an exam online, the connection fails and it demands a re login. When i keep my computer on for downloading, randomly a login screen pops up and downloads fail. My complaint has fallen on deaf years.


    Three months ago, i paid a cheque of 4830 rupees for 50 mbps fup 15gb connection for 6 months. At the end of three months, i was told that my renewal date is around and i have to pay 2500 more for 3 months connection, and that i hadnt paid for the 3 months that i had used. In all, 5000 i had to pay. Apparently, they forgot to add an entry of my cheque in their system. In my prepaid account, they showed -2500 as balance and asked me to cough up the amount after using the services for which i had already paid. My 60 year old father was troubled a dozen times with phone calls. A person even came to my house demanding money.


    After all these grievances, I believe i am left with no choice but to suffer with the shoddy services for the next three months. In case my grievances are not resolved by an officer of the least class of a senior executive, i shall make sure that most grieving residents of my building switch to a rival internet company.

      I am trying to get a new installation since Saturday and now the sales person Suneel is not picking up the call and the Customer Service guys have no clue about it. Payment is already done and the service is not yet activated...Are you guys sleeping?

        Hello all, I had been using Hathway Internet Services for the past one year and I am really not happy with their services. The reason why I am using their service is because there is no other Services available here in HSR Layout, Bangalore. I call Hathway atleast 3 to 4 times every month for an internet issue and i have kept all the complaint numbers and the dates that I have called them for a proof if someone needs it. They never have stable connections. Most of the time they will have speed issues then server issues etc. Before i started using Hathway, i had Airtel for for almost 5 yrs in a different location. I never had any issues with them.

          Sir, I am using Hathway Internet service in Bangalore. At the weekend i am facing issues while downloading data using torrents. When i call customer care of Hathaway, representative says we are not blocking torrents. Just after disconnecting call I can see torrents working fine. This happened three times and I am sure this is not just coincidence. This time I have taken reference number and that is 11014770. Now I am frustrated please help me, it feels like they are making me fool.

            Hi, My name is Shylesh and my Hathway account no is 1129708. My Broadband cable is broken outside my home. And it is been broken by hathway cable services people. Here by I have been complaining to hathway coustumer care from past 1 week and just 2 days back they send a person and he came and around 2 hours he passed his time talking to his friend and he just left like that from there. And while going he called me once and said the cable wire is broken he will come tomorrow morning and fix it but he never tuned up. His no is +[protected]. I called coustumer Care next day telling all this and thay said by morning it will be fixed. Again nobody turned up next day also. So again I called up customer Care telling the same problem. And they just said we are very sorry will 100% fix it by tomorrow morning. I was very irritated and siad if by tomorrow you are not fixing I will not pay the bill of this month. And they said ok don't worry will shorly fix the connection by tomorrow morning. And nobuday turnd up next day aslo... Now what shuld I do? It's hights of patients someone can bare.. They just ruined my whole one week and lose of so much work and money...

              Recently Hathway released a 50 mbps plan and I have moved to that plan hoping to get benefit of high speed internet connection. However, after taking the connection I realized that I am getting only 10 mbps. Reached out hathway customer support thrice and they closed the ticket without resolving it and without my consent. Sent emails to nodal officer and other email ids ('[protected]@hathway.net'; '[protected]@hathway.net'; 'blr.[protected]@hathway.net') but no use.

                I have applied for a Broad band on 19th Sep'14. Paid a Sum of 1442 INR to the marketing dealer Siddharth ([protected]). They haven't provided me any wiring. Later I was Informed they are cancelling my connection as me far away from connection area. They told me I will be refunded, but I got a call on 16/10/2014 saying me to pay money. I am waiting for my refund & now i am sensing about misusing my personal Documents which I have provided them. Please help me on this. No one is responding there they are just postponing.

                we have taken the hathway new Broadband connection on 31st October'2020 Paid a Sum of 1789 INR for 3 months plan. By talking with a salesperson. We have activated the connection in November 2020. Within three days we faced a lot of network issues regarding speed and net dropping. We have given complaints several times but it is not resolved and after a week we fed up with them we requested several times for refund but they are saying that there is no such policy. I asked several times also if you are unable to provide the promised services then why can't refund but there is no response and they are not connecting the calls to the higher authorities also. we have wasted a lot of time to connect with the customer care also. we have faced a very bad experience. Still, we are not getting proper internet service and no refund. total money is getting wasted. Service is very very very very poor.

                  The service is very bad. I am using the hathway for 1 month now, and have taken 1 year package. Daily we are facing the problem of net connectivity (No Network) reload, No connection Massage everyday.Specially in the evening at pm to pm. we have informed this to your coustomer care but till today no action is taken

                    i am using internet facility from hathway cable in surat.from last 15 days their connectivity is pathetic.whenever i call to their complaint numbers their customer complaint executives talks very rough.please guide me how to complaint against them. Even today i called them for non connevtivity issue they told me that it is done plz check from your end. but still it is not done, and finally that guy agrees and told to send someone today to solve it I talked some one named 'Tejas' at surat office.                       Hi, I am your 'NEW' customer with id: 1193292. I had provided my all documents and payments to HATHWAY on 4th Oct 2014. The person who taken payment from me told me I'll get connection by Monday I.e. 6th Oct. But your QUICK service installed it on 11th Oct 2014 (by only 7 days dealyed) The person who installed cable told me I'll get my user id, password by 2-3 hours. I got my user id after 2-3 DAYS and which is of NO use because by today also I am not able to use my internet connection. Each time I called customer care I got different reasons of why my internet is not working. I have registered complaints 3 times & non of them resolved yet. 1.[protected]th Oct 2.[protected]th Oct 3.[protected]th Oct Your 2 executives committed me that it will sort out by 15th Oct till 6 P.M. But still they are not able to complete their commitments. So my question is to you, what should I do in this situation??                         Hathway account: 672492 On 17th Sep 2014, I made a payment of Rs. 2516 for a quarterly internet plan and emailed hathway I need an invoice for the payment made so I can submit it for reimbursement. I got no response to my email. I sent two emails again asking for the invoice on 7th and 8th oct. Still have not got any response. Hathway doesn't have a toll free customer care number and they don't the calls immediately. We would have to pay for the call and sometimes the waiting time extends to 10-15 mins. I called the billing helpdesk on 13th oct and explained the problem with bill not received. She registered the complaint and told me I will receive the bill by evening. Complaint number is 10960626. But the complaint was closed without any information or resolution. I called them again on 14th oct and the person said billing department would call in 2 hours and I never got the call. My loss is not just the amount I paid for the internet plan but also the call charges for all the time I called and waited for them to attend. I need a solution for my issue and redressal for the mental agony I am going through because of the pathetic customer care that hathway has.

                          I have been using Internet service of Hathway Broadband Internet in Vadodara facing the connectivity issue since last few month constantly. Every day I face some or the other issue either with my Internet connectivity, or every now then local server is down. Every time I call customer care I hear the same old scripted dialogues from the well trained operators. There is no concrete action taken looking at the most number of complaint in a week by the customer and complaint keeps on piling. And the operators talk with bad manners with my mom and i have also recording of that conversation. Its nothing less than torture that I have been facing since months and can do nothing sitting on the other side waiting to get the issue fixed. I would sincerely request to all think before buying Internet service from Hathway Broadband Internet. Following are the name of careless operator and supervisor. Mr. Karan, Rakesh, Ankur - some among these using bad language Mr. Hiral Patil and Mr Prakash - Non co-operative supervisor. Mr Jaydeep the sales person is the man who gives always fake promises. Now i request you to close my internet and give my money back withing 3 to 4 days otherwise give me permanent solution asap.

                            I am having bad experience with the Hathway people, the management is in slumber sleep, but the customer care rep s are well trained to bully customers. My Internet connection has been wrongfully discontinue since 30th September, 2014, when complained to the customer care, the reply given by them is that "it will activated within 4 hours" next day, sms are send on my mobile saying that the compliant has been closed, any query call customer care. This has been continuously going on till date, but the hathway has not any action on my complaints. being dissatisfied with the services i m now intending to shift to other service provider.

                              Everytime i call executive for the broadband connection for my WIFI not working as internet login page is not coming they give me same respons that ur wifi is not working. I also said that the Wifi is new and it able to connect to my mobile and laptopn but the login page is not coming. But the executive always says that "since ur wifi is personal is not our Duty to check if internet login is not coming and it ur problem with WIfi.." I have checked my wifi at my frnd home and its workign fine, i have also rest configure and tried all possible ways to make my wifi connect to internet but Login page is not coming. If Hathway Login page is not coming it noting connected with WIFI since my WIFI is able to connect to my Laptop and Cell. I am facing this problem since last months], everyday i talk to number of executives they say the same. Executive just know that since the Wifi is not a Hathway provided, they are not allwoed to help. 1st they say they willl send engineer and then they says since it is personal Wifi router, we cant send anyone to check. What is this..? if this is the way executive and technician reacts then they will soon loss their customer and this will be my last connection of mine for sure. I have been customer with Hathways since 2010 but then also this behavior. No respect for customer..! I want my money back as there is no wifi not internet and no use and refund my money for last days received. When it comes to marketing, number of calls u will get to continue hathway connection. Bcoz u are more concerned on the money instead of customer satisfaction...!

                                I am a senior citizen aged 75 yrs and I am a hathway cable tv connection subscriber number[protected] at Hyderabad. Since 1 st October they have blocked some star channels to be availed on a-la-carte basis as per some court order. But they are not able to give any support either online or their local office / or operator stationed at Hyderabad and they simply they simply say as per court order dated 25 sep. and a pop comes there that call your local hathway cable office/ opertaor. But both of them are not able to guide or give the packages prescribed for Hyderabad. Their online site provides only 4 cities i.e. Bombay, Delhi, Kolkatta and Bangalore. I am a sr citizen and without gearing up to give a-la-karte channels is only giving mental harassment to watch my favouring channels is depriving and creating mental harassment . Please take some action and avoid mental harrassment. Because since days there is no reponse.

                                  Hi this complaint against Hathway cable service provider in BTM 2nd stage Bangalore. Customers of BTM 2nd stage are facing below issues highlighted even after registering complaint: * Disconnected all channels for Star (star movies, star plus, star gold) and Zee( cinemas, Zee entertainment), UTV, life ok, all sports channels and they are charging 250 Rs per month without any notification of removing these channels. Not only this, cable is shutdown for almost 2-3 days a week which is highly unexpected. Who will pay 250 per month if customers are not getting these channels which are considered to be main channels At the time of payment when we ask and raise this issue they blackmail us saying that we will disconnect your cable if you do not pay( that too advance payment). Please I request you to take action against this Hathway subscription and please cancel there licence as soon as possible,

                                    Hello My name is Dhanjeet Rabha, I've paid Hathway Rs. 3600 (for 3 months internet fee + Registration fee), but after 2months they disconnected the internet services. I called customer support service more than twice. On the 1st attempt I got the respond from customer support team that executive will come to my home and get it rectify the problem and they gave me a complaint no. 10932831 . I waited for two days no representative from Hathway came to my place. Again on 2nd attempt the again gave me a complaint no.10945980 and told me the same thing, but no representative came from Hathway. Now they are not even responding to my calls. Which is very annoying. So as of now iIt's been 4 days and I don't have internet connection which is causing me trouble, I cannot contact my friends, I cannot pay my electricity bills online, etc.

                                      Dear Sir, This is Prathap from Bangalore and this mail is regarding connectivity issue with broadband which we are using. From past 3days we are not able to use Internet since there is a problem in Modem. Its not getting switching on. We intimated the same to customer care and there is no proper response from them. We called many times and also sent mails but whenever we call they will say concerned person will come and rectify the issue and there won't be any timeline for the same. We are literally pissed off with this issue and this is not the first time we are facing this problem. Please can you check and do the needful.                                         This is to complain regarding Hathaway broadband. We have been loyal customers for past 3 years, however they keep disconnecting the service often .Usually from 10 pm to 10 am and weekends. We complained few times and they asked us to change router, wire, adapter. Having done all three of them and paying another 3000 rs, the net is still not working. When we went and directly complained they sent some person for service however after fixing, it worked for an hour or so.Post which we were back to no Internet. They have a monopoly in this area and they do not allow any other Internet connection, nor are they refunding the money. We are really sick and tired of this and hoping that strict action is taken against them. This is not just problem at our place, but our other friends who are availing their service are facing the same issue. I am raising this request not cause I am frustrated by their service but cause they need to learn a lesson that they cannot treat their customers this way.Request you to please look into the matter and help us.
