My hathway account number is 1133752. This is for speed of 50 Mbps as claimed by Hathway. Never have we got the speed as claimed by them the test results from speedtest.com have also been submitted but they have never responded back. Hathway just wants to make a fool out of people. Now the internet connection is off trying to desperately get the technician from Hathway to come and rectify but to no avail. Only a complaint number is given and after umpteen calls to hathway only promises for the rectification are given. This is a company which does not respect its customers. I want my hard earned money back which I have paid to these thieves. Never should anyone subscribe to this service as they are not ethical in their business practices and cannot serve their customers. Don't get fooled like me stay away from HATHWAY.       I am Ashraf On 11th of august of 2014 I subscribed for Hathway broadband by the representative of the company. After 3 days they visited my home and found no connection. I contacted Vikram who is the representative to cancel my subscription and give me my refund as I did not got the service return on the payment on money. And it has been one month I did not got my refund by the company. I have paid rupees 2583 cash and I have provided the bill of my transaction as a proof. Consumer (Ashraf)

      Did you get your refund from hathway? Just wanted to know if the customer care actually works or just adding the standard line of " Apology and someone will callback".
      FYI - i also had similar issue and asked for refund. need your suggestions.

        • I happened to meet Mr. Vajid (Cell no: [protected] / [protected]) at Hathway broad band office at Kandivali West, who explained me the plans and advised to go for 50Mbps, 10 GB monthly plan. • He advised me to take D-Link modem from Hathway by paying a deposit of Rs.1050/- and pay for 6 months at a go so that the installation is free. • On enquiring about the service standards on Saturday / Sunday (as I am not available on weekdays) Vajid told me to be rest assured. • He immediately came to my house, saw my system and took a cheque of Rs.4, 869/-. This amount includes 6 months subscription and modem deposit of Rs.1050/- • On afternoon of 2-Sept-14 the wiring was completed and on Thursday afternoon I got a call from Vajid and asked me for convenient time for completing the connection formalities. • I told him that I want the Hathway engineer to visit on weekend so that I will be able to understand the connectivity basics such as staying connected, adding / removing laptop / phones for wifi usage, etc. • He said that I need not worry about all those things and he will help me understand all those minor things once the connection is established. • I agreed to his request and accordingly on 4-Sept-14 at around 4:30 pm the Hathway engineer visited my place and internet connection was established on my system. Subsequently I received a message welcoming me to Hathway ISP. • I wanted to add mine and my wife’s cell phones on the wireless network, but subsequent weekend I was not in town… but was very happy with the way the connection was established quickly. • To add the cell phones to the wireless network and understand the basics, I have been contacting Mr. Vajid and he has been assuring me to send an engineer on weekend… which never happened till date. • Yesterday again on Saturday, 27-Sept-14 I called Vajid and asked him to look into my issues. Vajid was with his friend / colleague and was in between keeping my phone on hold for long time while talking…. actually making fun of me. • When I told him this is not the way to deal with customers, he demonstrated me the height of audacity, he actually asked me to go and complain to anyone I want… this is too much??? • I had to tolerate this undignified behavior as I wanted my wireless to start working. Then he asked me to call on some Mr. Abhay (Manager Support… that’s what he mentioned) on [protected] and talk to him. • I kept trying Abhay for 2 hours from 10:30 am but there was no response. Every time I called Vajid and told him, he said he must be busy… keep trying. • I again called Vajid and requested him to look into this. He promised me to visit my place at around 4:00 pm personally to resolve the issue. • Since Vajid, did not come to my place, I called him at 4:30 pm but he did not attend my call and later started disconnecting my calls. • Finally yesterday evening, I called [protected] at 6:15 pm and spoke to Mr. Rihan. I narrated my experience and requested him that someone should visit my place and explain things properly to me. • I also told him that till date I have not even received the invoice copy for the amount of Rs.4, 869/- paid which is absolutely absurd. • Rihan was apologetic and registered my complaint. He said, tomorrow being Sunday, he can’t guarantee an engineer to my place but definitely my complaint will be addressed through telephonic call. I received a SMS at 6:33 pm confirming my compliant 10832684 is registered. Then I got an SMS at 6:49 pm confirming my compliant 10832680 is registered. (Different complaint nos.) • Next day morning, to my utter surprise I got a SMS saying that the registered complaint[protected]this complaint no. does not match to any of the earlier complaint no.) has been closed. In case of query, please call Helpline. • Immediately at 9:20 am (Sunday, 28-Sept-14) I called the helpline on [protected] and the call was attended by Ms. Pooja Gupta. I told her that I have received this SMS saying that the complaint has been closed whereas my issues are still unaddressed and nor have I got any phone call from anyone. • Pooja said that this SMS (complaint has been closed) has been received means someone will be attending my complaint soon. Amazing reply... a complaint closed SMS because someone will be attending my complaint?? • I told her this is not logical, but she was very sure that this is the right way of working. • Now even after 2 days on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, still my issues are unresolved. I have paid for wireless connectivity and my main purpose of taking wireless has got defeated.

          Dear Sir/Madam, While i am trying to figure out if the decision to introduce digital cable forcibly in few cities like Bangalore is right or not, i am now starting to feel it is a big mistake ! Earlier the cable operators were on their foot in case of any complaints and now the situation has changed and even after paying we customers dont get what we are entitled to. The same service providers have become arrogant and the only reason is the digitization. Bangalore is being split into 3-4 digital service providers and millions of consumers like me are being taken for ransom already. Hathway cable and the local operators get into price negotiations often which results in blocking of many channels for months together. This is not a good situation at all. Operators do not even respond to queries but they are at our doorstep every month promptly to collect the monthly payment. Someone looking at this message needs to quickly bring things under control. If i was offered 'X' no of channels for 'Y' amount at the beginning i expect without prior intimation or without my permission they must not block channels. I consider this as a straight forward and easy way of cheating consumers. Please take immediate action. Regards, Balachandran

            Hello, Salesperson from Hathaway broadband taken the subscription amount for Internet then said it is not possible to have Internet in your area and NOT returning the money back submitted for subscription. Amount = 590(Hathaway Charges ) + 700( Local operator Charges ) Receipt Dated =19/06/2014 its already being 4 months. We have called and visited Hathaway Services Several times but they are not responding. Salesperson name = Praveen Contact no =[protected] This salesperson has not submitted the money Back.             Hi I had a plan to purchase hathway broadband connection and I had registered for the same, I was informed that I'll receive a cal back from your sales rep in 3 hrs of my registration but I have not received a single cal from your side. I called the customer care and informed the same but no use they told me to wait for other 3 hrs and it's already been 12hrs I have been waiting for ur cal.. worse customers service. Ur sales rep are not even concerned to update the customer with the process going on.. atleast they are not even bothered to contact the customer for the first time and interact with them.. If this is the how will I know if I'll receive the broadband connection or not. I request you to cal me back asap. I am from Rajajinagar, Bangalore.

              My Account Number is : 1179005. I have paid for a New Hathway cable internet connection, for which I received an acknolwdegment letter Dated 18/09/2014 mentioning my Customer ID. The Co-axial cable wiring for the Hathway Modem was done on the previous day. However on my consent, we asked the wire-men to use the existing Building co-axial cable to extend the connectivity. We later noticed that the existing wiring was too old to sustain the connectivity, which was discovered after installing the modem. The same was intimated the very next day (18/09/2014) to the local person who had come for explaining the initial plans and offers to us and we requested to resend the Wiring Team to provide a separate direct cable connection to the modem. A week has passed since the initial request has been made for re-wiring and in-spite of frequent Follow-ups and a series of false promises from the same person, the work is yet to be completed. Considering the services and the Brand of “Hathway”, we anticipate better response towards customer satisfaction and Professional approach towards such query. We request you to please assist with a solution to the issue, or else if not possible, kindly issue a re-fund of the paid amount.

                My account number is 1152767. Account in the name of Mr. Mohan Singal, HI, I just got fade up of Hathway Broadband network these thing cause me to write this mail. Given below is the full details of how I got connection in hathway network and how after got connection how fade up of the Internet connection while using the same. I had applied on 20 July 2014 and they give me connection get on 31st July 2014 evening but still it was not active connection after so many call back to Hathway Service center (LOCAL) they had activated connection on 1 August 2014. They have taken cheque in advance dated 20.07.2014, I have paid the same amount what they had demand from me and they got misplace the cheque or what so ever they were not able to deposit my cheque, that's why they people had disconnected my service for more than 8 Days. That time also after so many complaint they had active my connection. Now some another problem my connection got disconnected from 13th Sept. 2014, I am back of call Center, Local Operator, but no body is interested in my connection or I can say in their business, if it like this then please refund my full money as soon as possible as if you will calculate my days o[censored]ses you will definitely find unethic-ness of your business organisation. Still I am daily calling to hathway Service center on[protected] always they use to give me reply like “We are sorry for in convince and we will start your service very soon” but still they are working on the same from 14th Sept. I am failed to understand working style of Hathway, hence I am going to complaint to all the related person in whole India. Given below is my reference no.                 hathway's service level is very poor. everytime there is issue in connecting internet
                hathway is just useless service provider. every time call centre, they will spend 10 minutes than they will start service. it seems purposely they can keep shut services for unlimited usage users.

                  Dear, Recently Hathway disconnected my connection only because i was asking for receipt of payment. I had paid rental of cable for one month on his assurance of receipt after one day, but person did not come in that month came next month asking for rent of cable.I told him to provide receipt of previous month for which he denied and asked for rental of running month for which i told him that i will pay once you will provide the receipt. Because of this he abused and said you can do any thing but receipt will not be provided. After 2 days company disconnected the cable which is wrong. I am ready for payment but only on receipt. Solve the problem and justice should be made.

                      Hi I am Hathway Broadband Home user from Kothrud, Pune, Maharashtra. I am not getting any Internet connection from last few days. I am daily contacting to Hathway customer service, they only giving me complaint number but no positive action taken yet from Service Provider. Some person call in afternoon and ask to check Internet connection, which is somehow not possible for any working person on planet. When i come back to home and check the connection it fails to connect. Hathway not even provide any extension period as I am not getting any network from last week.                         Sir, This is in regard to the set top box which got damaged last week. My set top box got some problem in it last week. As soon as I realized it, I complaint it to the local boy(mr. Yogendar) who collects cable charges in our colony. He took the box with him saying that the box will be repaired with Rs.200 as it's repair charges. Now, it's been a week and there is no information of him till now and his phone is off too. somehow, I got his boss's number(mr. Bittu) who may be is the in charge of this area. Initially, he also asked for some more time saying that the local boy has been to his village and we too are waiting for him but I don't think that this is the way to operate a business and treat your customer with such services.now, it's been a week and the main boss too is not giving any satisfying response. As you know that there are many other service providers too in this line giving tough competition to digital cable in every way like dish tv and all.therefore, I request you to kindly look into the matter and reply me as soon as possible otherwise I am worried that I have to cut my connection with the company.                           I've been a sufferer of Hathways system too. I just want to make it plain and simple. Their customer care sucks. They take it very easy when we complain about it. I've talked to many guys who say my problem would be resolved tomorrow.But tomorrow never comes. And when I call zonal level manager to complain about this, he doesn't lift my call. When I call again, I get a call wait on his number. When I call him again, he doesn't lift the call again, so I keep him a message saying my query is not resolved.And call him back, I get a call wait again and after some time he lifts the call and says this: "Go Ahead and disconnect the connection.I don't care."                               They are not providing the right speed what they comment at starting. They will discontinue your service anytime without informing you. There is no proper waya to deal with the bad connection, I've called 15 times to resolve my issue but no one is ready to help you, the only thing they know is money. They are the worst service provider of bangalore and I'll request for a total refund of money since they are unable to serve their customer.

                                We Are subscribe for hathway data plan hd stream 3 for 6 months of Rs 6400/- (50 mbps speed upto 25gb after 1 mbps unlimited ), instead of this plan they subscribe us for hd stream 2 plan (50 mbps up to 15 gb after 512kbps unlimited). we have registered complaint to hathway customer care for the particular problem, also inform to hathway service center for the problem but they are doing nothing .                                   I applied for broadband connection with Hathway Broadband(Id[protected] on 25th Aug 2014 and gave installation fee of Rs. 1000 and one month advance of Rs. 1400 for internet plan. After that nobody from company has bothered to lay down wire for internet although I got mail from Hathway that connection is active. I don’t know how a connection can be active without physical wire connection. I have made several complaints regarding no service starting from 1st September 2014 and have asked for refund if they are unable to provide connection. Complaint numbers are 10586065, 10618752, 10639218. Till now no processing is being done and my Rs 2400 are locked with no service at all and neither are they refunding the money.

                                    Please refer to my 2 calls to your customer care centre, the connection is not working and your enginner is not willing to visit and correct the connection, i have been charged as prepaid and with each passing date it is amounting to cheating, account number 1009039

                                      I have brought the hathway connection but the cable provider of allahabad is not providing us the desirable channels. i have contacted to the mumbai customer care they said i should call allahabad customer care no and when i tried the number their was no response
