I am a new hdfc bank credit card holder. One day i received a call from hdfc bank where one lady said that they are providing me one year protection of my new card. Even the call was so rushing and didn't confirm the charges. Suddenly i got a sms from one assist that the bank has auto debited rs. 1399/- from my credit card number ending with 0759 without my concern on date:14/07/2017. I am not interested in this service and don't want this membership anymore. So cancel the membership and refund this debited amount of rs.1399/- at the earliest.

In addition, the sms didn't show the amount as well. I called to customer care then i got to know the amount. I would appreciate please ensure that this amount will not be deducted from my account and cancel my membership at the earliest.

Cancellation of one assist membership
I am a new HDFC bank credit card holder. The bank has auto debited Rs. 1299/- from my credit card number ending with 3386 without my concern on date:31-Oct-2017. I am not interested about this service and don't want this membership any more. So cancel the membership and refund this debited amount of rs.1299/-.

I have been calling the number which was given on that One Assist brochure. But it was invalid number. Finally I called toll free number and able to reach customer care and complained regarding the same. They tried to convince me in all the ways by showing protection and theft recovery and travel benefits etc. But I told them that none of these benefits are applicable to me in my job profile. Finally they officered to Rs.399/- discount out of the total charged amount of Rs.1299/- to continue the One Assist membership @ Rs.899/- till one year. They said Rs.399/- will be revered to my credit card account.

But I am requesting you to understand my concern by checking my account statement. I can no where avail the options/ benefits what they are offering. Hence please permanent deactivate that “One Assist ” Membership and reverse my deducted total amt that charges.

    The following mails were written by me to HDFC Life seeking refund of my hard earned money, which are self-explanatory. Please help.

    Dear Sir,

    I had taken a policy on 31st March 2017 under the impression that I will be getting loan from HDFC Bank at 6.5% as informed by your agents in Salt Lake, Kolkata. Now after taking the policy I was waiting for the loan but there is no response from the agents. The policy No.19213553 was delivered to me on 13.4.2017. I had paid a sum of Rs.74, 999/- towards this policy from Punjab national bank and AXis bank. They insisted me that before the year ending of 31.3.2017, I must take this policy for availing the loan etc . etc. .

    Now, I received a message from my banker, Punjab National Bank on 9.5.2017 saying that
    "QUOTE
    Mandate ref. PUNB[protected] issued to HDFC Life with value Rs.74, 9999/- and frequency adhoc is received today for processing. In case of any issue, please get in touch with your branch" UNQUOTE.

    From this message, I came to know that the agents have taken my signature for standing instruction for payment every year without telling me the fact. On the contrary, they told me that I have to pay only for the first year Rs.75, 000/- as policy premium and not thereafter because once they give the loan this will take care of the insurance against the loan etc. Now when I recd this message from my bank, I am totally caught unaware on the wrong foot.. For your information, I have no interest in taking any policy in the first place, only I took this under the misguidance/compulsion of the agents saying that I will be getting loan at a cheaper rate, etc. etc.. Now I am not getting any loan nor any response whereas I have to pay Rs.75, 000/- towards this policy which I had no interest to take or go ahead with it.

    Since it was a clear cheating took place, I would request you to kindly arrange to cancell this Policy immediately as I have no interest to carry on with it for 7 years by paying the premium every year. It was taken only because of loan promise from your agents, who have cheated me by giving all wrong promises.

    Please help me to cancel this policy immediately and refund the money paid under false information given to me by the agents.

    Please note that your brokers(Brokers house) at Salt Lake, Kolkata have contacted me over phone and forced me to take this Policy without giving the proper details and under false promise saying that they will provide loan at a very low rate of interest, etc.etc. They even told me that I have to pay only one premium against the loan amount as a security and after one year the premium need not be paid to HDFC etc and this first premium will be adjusted against the last instalment of loan repayment to HDFC. They have even bluffed me that I should pay only one premium against a loan of Rs.6 lacs which will be the security against the loan.

    Under the wrong guidance given by your Salt lake house brokers in Kolkata, I took the policy as one time payment. Now I find that I have to pay for 7 years which is not possible for me and without knowing the fact, I was misled by the brokers in Salt Lake house, Kolkata.

    I would, therefore, request you to kindly arrange to reimburse this hard earned money to me as a special case . This happened because of cheating took place ; otherwise in the normal course I would not have proceeded with this policy. This money was kept for my daughter's marriage, which is going to take place soon and for that reason only I wanted a loan.

    Hence, please consider my request to cancel this policy and return the money.

      I have taken Rs.60000 on my Credit card. It is being almost 2 years now in this two year I have almost made the payment of Rs. 100000 Lac and I had a settlement before 6 Months where the settlement amount was of Rs.43000. were in I fail to pay the settlement amount of 2 Months to the bank and they cancelled my settlement plan and now they are telling me to pay the entire amount of Rs. 70000 or else they are gonna have another settlement with me for the same amount . were in the whole amount that I have paid until now that amount is wasted . I earn Rs.20000 a month I have family responsibility on me . How am i suppose to make a payment . I know it was life's biggest mistake that i have taken credit card from HDFC Bank . Where the bank is just having loot . I cant afford paying more now . I m done. I don't make money to pay unwanted interest rates.

            This complaint dates back to almost 45 days which HDFC have failed to resolve till date. Firstly my HDFC credit card 4854XXXXXXXX5365 was tried to be hacked and so got hot-listed in the back-end. So I was to be issued WITH a new credit card for which I agreed but my contact details were to be updated. Hence, I filled the online application and sent it to HDFC cards division in Chennai. As the address update took more than 15days I enquired and I get a response that my application has not been received. Then to this I sent the Indian post waybill number to prove that the concerned documents have been delivered. Then after seven days HDFC e-mails' me and states that I did not sign the address proof documents, for which I requested to send a snapshot to prove their claim as I remember to sign it for sure. In the latest development, I have received an e-mail on 29th June 2017 (e-mail reference [protected]) that my signature is a mismatch. From the above it is very clear that HDFC's effort to resolve such a trivial issue is null and they are just putting forth one excuse after another. Also, HDFC should call me on my mobile number while they can very well call me and disturb me with telemarketing offers. Is this your customer service program.

                EMI for July month could not be collected by the bank as there was no balance in the linked bank account. Hence, they have called and requested us to pay the same through Net Banking.
                I have transferred the EMI amount + Penalty (Since there was no balance in account on collection day) to HDFC Pondicherry bank account.
                I gave the Transaction reference number of the Online fund transfer to the HDFC Employee who called me. Payment was successful.
                Next day, they have taken the EMI from the linked bank account also. Now, I have paid the EMI two times.
                ONLY because the HDFC officer requested, we did online transfer. Next day it is being taken from our account also.
                I don't understand why would they put me in such a situation ?
                When I tried to call the number from which they contacted me, the number is not reachable. When I called the Customer care, they are mentioning that payment made is not reflecting in their system. And told me that, it might take 48 hours to realize the payment and then up-to 7 days to refund it back to me.
                I'm very much dissatisfied with their approach and lethargic replies. I have another EMI to be paid from the same account to a different bank. This week, they will try to take EMI and then penalize me as there will be no balance left in my bank account.
                I want to know what went wrong and a definite date or period for the refund of my money.

                  I have a made fund transfer of rs 5000 from payzapp app to my saving account on 01-july-2017. Initially app show transaction get failed and money didn't credited to my payzapp wallet. Later it is showing the transaction success but money is not transferred to account. I made the three transactions (5000+5000+5000 rs) on that day, but payzapp has limit only two transactions (5000+5000) per day only. One of the transaction is failed. (Please don't reply like — transaction is success from payzapp side and get in touch with concern bank. — this is useless.) bank will respond only for your tickets.                     Hi,

                    I have used 15k on my HDFC CC and today they want me to make a payment of 70k, which is so disgusting.

                    I have been following up with HDFC for the past 6 months asking for closure of CC but there is no proper response till date, instead they kept increasing all charges and today they wanted me to make a payment of 70k.

                    This is completely ridiculous and they keep calling me 15-20 times everyday asking for payment. This is again a complete harassment. how could they call a person back to back.

                    Im ready to close my CC even today but will only pay for what i have used and not a penny more.
                    If you will not resolve the issue even now and keep dragging dont expect any payment in future.

                      Hi team

                      I had applied for the loan on July 3rd 2017 with all the supporting documents. One Divya Venu was handling my loan application. Along with the docs, I had submitted the Salary certificate which the collection executive had told me that won't work. Only that work is the 3 months Salary Slip. And he said me, let him see whether what Divya says and she'll call and let me know. I started calling this girl every day to ask about the loan status and whether they accepted the salary certificate. She said yes and it was processed. But to avoid any delay I had sent the 3 months salary slip in mail id mariam.[protected]@hdfcbank.com in advance. Days have gone by. Every day I'm calling this girl like anything. The worst part is, she never called me by herself. It was me who was keeping on doing the follow-up. After 10 days I'm again getting a loan application no. when I called she said, the previous ones got rejected because I gave the salary certificate. Then why the hell they made me send the 3-month salary slip a long time ago. After 10 days again I tried to follow up, then she talks to me so rudely like she is GRINDING her teeth. Don’t these HDFC staffs know the etiquettes how to talk to their customers? No one takes a loan for fantasies, they face the issue and when they find no other way, they take the loan as their last resort. I want you guys to take a strong against her so that no customer faces such an inconvenience and no other juniors follow her footsteps.

                      I believe you will take a strong action against asap. Or else your bank recruiting will be blamed for any loss of a customer.

                        I am akshay soni from indore, i have a salary account in hdfc bank. Last night i had made a payment of rs 1003/- on elitmus site via netbanking and screen displayed that session timed out but the money was debited from the account and not recived by them. Then i had to make another payment for the same. Please help me get my refund, i am not able to get to the customer care executive to register my complaint. Following are the details:

                            Two transcations, one on 02/07/2017 for rs3353.65 and other on 03/07/2017 for rs3340.85 was done from my credit card ending with 5112 at google *colop. I have not made any such transactions. These transactions are fraud or mistake. I got my credit card blocked on 04/07/2017 and got a new credit card.
                            I lodged complaint to customer care and requested not to bill this amount. However latest statement reflects amount charged.
                            Kindly look into this matter and reverse my amount so billed or charged.

                              I am constantly getting calls from hdfc bank that our loan has approved. I am not interested in taking loans. Despite informing them in each and every call to not call us regarding the loans, we are continuously getting calls. It is creating mental stress especially when we are expecting important calls.                                 I am arunima silsarma, a credit card holder in hdfc bank which was attached with the salary account. Now presently i am not working, each month they sending an additional amount. I repeatedly called them regarding it, each time they promised to look after it, but no changes took place and the amount has increased.
