I have a salary account with hdfc my customer id is 73955780,

I left my job due to some personal issue, lately i have been going through difficult time, i applied for my pf claim which i received, i applied for provident fund so that i can pay for my rent

Now bank have taken 2800 ruppes (Approx) without even informing me, i have called customer service department several time and they have given me multiple excuses, rather than trying to fix the issue

I called contact center few days ago, spoke to a girl (Ashwini), she assured me that she have logged a complaint with the help of her supervisor (Ajay) and i will be recieving call back in next 24 hour (Probably next morning), didn't received any call.

Called again after 48 hrs, just to see what is going on, the moment i said its regarding complaint, they started giving excuses, like '
You got connected to the wrong department,
Not able to hear me,
Disconnecting calls on hold,
There was one guy who kept me on mute after listening to my complaint for almost 7-8 mins, i felt like he was waiting for me to disconnect the call and then he told me money will be back in my account in 7 days, he assured me on that.

Also spoke to a guy (Vinayak) who told me the previous complaint was regarding something else & now he have logged a new complaint which will surely help me. No one knows what happened to the one which was already logged, when i asked him why i was not informed about charges, he told me that i have to register for instant alert (Now please explain me why you guys keep sending all this emails and text messages for loans and credit cards when i am not registered and have never asked for that)

Now i don't know where to go, i have literally tried every thing, didn't expected this from you guys, i will close my account so that i don't to go through such experience in future and advise my dad to change his home loan and his personal account to some other bank

    I want highlight the mis-selling of the regalia first credit card which was issued to me in the month of march.
    I was informed by the sales person that i will be getting bogo on bookmyshow movie ticket booking which is not applicable in this card and another major mis-selling point was that there are no annual charges applicable on this card. I requested to surrender the card before as well not the request went unattended. And now i have been issued a statement with rs.1000/- annual charges.

    When i wrote an email to their customer care they replied me with the formula to calculate the annual charges rs. 1000.00 (+18% gst).

    This is an unfair ask on bank's behalf which is not at all justified.

      Dear sir,

      I am unable pay my personal loan due for this month (May'19) and i asked timeline when the collection agent called, and i committed them to pay by 27th of may (Monday), due to some personal issue i am unable to pay ontime, however i didn't pick the call too, since the last 10 days i am frequently getting calls from different collection agent in different number, i am really frustrated then i decided to not pick any call which i received from unknown number.

      Then i called the committed person around 2 o clock today (29th may) but him mobile is switched off, post that i went to floor, then the person called me and i picked asked him link to pay the due.

      But his response is different than the earlier, and he spoke me in a threatening manner.

      He directly say i have call record, and i will complaint in your hr, i will send collection agent to your home etc..

      I do not know what to say about the collection agent and i said him you can do whatever you want, but i agree, that i didn't pay as per my commitment, due to some reason.

      I request you to take necessary action on the respective person and i need the explanation.

      Fyi - i paid my due through nfet and provided transaction number to another collection agent.

        Hdfc bank customer id[protected] i submitted all requisite documents and forms at hdfc bank for deletion of existing second holder and adding another second holder in my account. These forms were submitted on 13th or 14th may 2019 at borivali west branch of hdfc bank. The lady told me it will be processed within 7 working days. I approached hdfc bank customer on 24th may to know the status as i wanted the thing processed for visa appointment dated 28.05.19. Today is 29th may more than 12 working days and no progress has been made. Neither my personal banker/not customer care is aware where is the process stuck. The lady from borivali branch had the guts to call me and ask why did you complain on the hdfc bank customer care. Hdfc bank has all the right to take howmuch ever time it needs but atleast give a strict date by when the request can be processed instead of keeping customers hanging. Number 1 bank in the country has these service standards.

        Multiple complaints made with Hdfc customer care dated 24.5.19 haven’t yet been reverted by them despite assuring revert within 2 working days. Is there a single person in the whole HDFC bank who takes responsibility of their work and has even little sense o[censored]nderstanding of customers urgency? 17 days and absolutely no clue I am having as regards why is it not happening. So honestly don’t give this standard copy paste replies that you will revert in three days. Because I am dead sure none of you HDFC bank employees mean what you say.

          Dear customer care,

          This is to state that i have been experiencing amount deduction from my hdfc bank account without any known reasons. A sum total of approx rs 215 has been deducted in 6 times on 27th may and 29th may. Please help me in getting my money back as i am worried about the unknown transactions. Thanks in advance.

          We wish to confirm that the International transactions are converted into Indian Rupees using the exchange rate established by the VISA / Master International for such transaction on the date when the charges are processed by the member bank, plus any applicable conversion charges. These rates are determined by VISA / Master for such interbank/inter country settlement and the same would apply in addition to the bank markup rates for transactions on the credit card for international transactions. The Cross currency Markup' @ XX% on the transaction amount is currently charged for international transactions and the same has been mentioned on the schedule of charges' in the card statement. As part of a regulatory compliance, the markup charges similar to all other Fees & Charges will also be levied with Goods & Service Tax (GST) at 18% (revised with effect from 01/07/2017). Incase if there are multiple foreign currency transactions posted during the month, then markup amounts across the multiple transactions would be cumulated and Tax will be applied at Goods & Service Tax (GST) at 18% We also take this opportunity to clarify that in the case of transactions in other foreign currencies, the transactions are converted to a globally accepted currency value (USD) and then to Indian rupees, which may result in a net difference in the charge amount, when compared to the rate arrived at using regular RBI rate.

            I am getting constant complaint from hdfc recovery agents for outstanding debt of my cousins brother. They keep insisting me that i should patch him up. I have been also threaten if he doesnt answer their call. Now, i am no where a witness of his credit card neither a nominee why i am being asked to connect to him secondly, how did they found out my number if i was nowhere in their application. Hdfc is selling my data to these recovery agents. I am going to lodge a complaint against them

              Hi,

              I keep getting calls every day atleast once (Sometimes 2) asking hdfc personal loans. I have told more than 50 times to everyone who has called asking for loan that i am not interested in any loan. I will even flag their call as "harassment" n block, but again next day they call with other numbers & harass me. I am really fedup telling calling people not to call me for any kind of loans but they never listen & keep calling me. I have blocked more than 50 hdfc personal loan calling numbers so far. Not sure how to resolve it.

              Once i was caught by police for picking this junk personal loan call and ended up paying 300 fine. Many times i will be in hurry to office & in meetings i get this junk call, i blast them, but these shameless" people doesnt understand our pains. I am totally annoyed with hdfc personal loan callers. Somehow pls stop them. I cant even file police complaint against them as everytime different ppl call. I have requested for dnd but no use at all.

              Pls help me here to get rid from hdfc personal loan calls.

                I was opened my salary account in the hdfc bank after sometime i left that company. The bank converted my salary account into the saving account without informing me and there are charges on that account. My account had not used since opening and was charged for not maintaining balance every month. As per my knowledge if account is not being used for 6 months bank accounts get inactive. Why was my account not automatically inactive after 6 months. Could you please deactivate the account and stop charging further.

                  I am from panje ke, district ferozpur, punjab. On[protected] at 4:03p. M. I received sms on my phone that shopping is done of amount 46535 at green aura from your debit card in jaipur then after 5 min, debit card is used at green aura for rs. 5933 and then after 3 minutes again used for rs.3330. I called hfdc customer care immediately when i got first sms and they took 10 minutes in their 1 dabaye / 2 dabaye. Customer care executive told me that they did 3 transaction right now at atm for cash withdrawal and i received messages of rs.10, 000, rs.5000, rs.2000 at ganga jamuna petrol pump, jaipur then they did blocked my atm cards. I was having account balance of rs.70, 000 and only 200 is left. Then i visited panje ke bank branch and filled dispute form they said me to wait for 3 days and to file a fir and guruharsahai police station refused to file that and they said this is work of cyber cell in ferozpur then went there on[protected]. Their process is too slow like give application then get it marked from ssp then i went to sp office and wait for 3 hours then gave that application to asi. He said he will get it done and forward it. Please resolve this issue. So that there will not be my fault for having account with hdfc bank

                    I applied for 6l loan from hdfc bank online. I was informed will get loan disbursal in 48 hours and its been 8 working days already and yet no approval or clear confirmation on when i can expect the approval.

                    I have submitted all necessary documents and earn salary of about 1l per month.

                    I am a prime customer and had account for more than 5 years now. I expected quality service.

                    Such instances will impact my future transactions with hdfc bank and i have plans to open account in axis bank due to this bad experience with hdfc bank.

                      With reference number hfr109938 i had applied for fast tag in hdfc fasttag online portal. I had submitted required documents after consulting consumer care. Even after that i have not recevied fast tag. Yesterday when i had called for cancellation they have recharged fast tag which is not even dispatched. Also hdfc fasttag team has done recharge of fast tag with 200rs and reference number is[protected]. This needs to reversed, because application which is applied on march 25th they are trying to process yesterday on may 28 2019. According to hdfc fasttag within 7 working days they process application. Due to this delay i will need full refund of 500rs from hdfc fasttag team.

                        My customer id 37339461 and salary holder in hdfc.

                        I was applied for hdfc loan los no. 67784448 but while applying loan hdfc person sachin jadhav (Mob.[protected] took rs. 2000 cash saying required for document and insurance. Also he told this amount considered as your down payment amount but when disburse happened this rs. 2000 was not considered and now he is saying i left the job.

                        From kalamkar tvs showroom hadapsar i received his manager imran shaik mobile no +[protected].

                        Please help me to get my amount back else i have last option to go for police station complaint.

                          Cancellation of one assist membership
                          I am a hdfc bank credit card holder. The bank has auto debited rs. 1399/- from my credit card number ending with 1386 without my concern on date:22/05/2019. I am not interested about this service and don't want this membership any more. So cancel the membership and refund this debited amount of rs.1399/-. And request to you not repeat it again in future. I am capable to afford such membership.

                            HDFC was my current bank account during my internship period in my first company on January 2017. Now I use Axis bank. On transferring some money to HDFC recently, I lost 2700 rupees. On inquiry, I found that this was due to negative balance in savings account due to non-maintenance of minimum balance which is 10, 000 rupees. Currently I have -9451 rupees as my negative balance. I was also planning to take loan from HDFC, which is not possible because of this. There was no timely warning calls to inform the same. I do not wish to pay this huge amount because I was not informed properly by HDFC. I would have closed the account earlier, had I known this would happen. I am really disappointed in their service and customer relations.

                            I would like HDFC to waive off this amount so that I will maintain the minimum balance henceforth and take loan, or close this account, whichever is convenient.

                              Hello sir / madam,

                              I have not received by wallet id for my fastag. Because of this i am not able to create fastag account for myself.

                              I have received my hdfc rfid fastag with new car and when i try to login, it is asking for wallet id and in hdfc portal it was mentioned that wallet id will be received from the welcome emailer. Unfortunately, i haven't received the welcome emailer as well.

                                Dear Sir/Mam,

                                I, Subhasis Mohapatra am a credit card holder with your bank since the year 2015. I was given this card enrolment form by one of your representatives who was distributing and enrolling people, right outside my office building at that time of car purchase. I have used the card and was regularly paying back the bank for quiet some time as the records would show.

                                However, I have lost jobs since 2018 and my financial condition has been very bad since then. I have a family of 3...my father(BP & Nero patient declared unfit by doctor & Doctors also advised not to give him more tension), my mother is housewife. We lost our house on Foni cyclone at puri. My parents stay on tent house at village. I don't have a house in Bhubaneswar, hence I'm staying in my uncle's house since the year 2005.

                                I have been earning just 5000 rupees per month since 2018...sometimes not even that. I have been trying to get myself a better paying job since then, in order to be able to pay back the bank.

                                I do want to repay all the amounts owed to the bank. However, I am not able to pay anything now. I have informed this to various customer care representatives and collection agencies as well.

                                However, we have some serious issues faced by me, my family, my neighbors due to your collection representatives. They call and visit my uncle's house rigorously which is a cause of concern to me. I may have lost this home also.

                                Below mentioned are some rules sent to me by my father's lawyer for my reference.

                                RBI Rules:
                                (iii) Fair Practices in debt collection

                                (a) In the matter of recovery of dues, banks / NBFCs may ensure that they, as also their agents, adhere to the extant instructions on Fair Practice Code for lenders (circular DBOD. Leg. No. BC. 104 /09.07.007 / 2002–03 dated May 5, 2003) as also IBA’s Code for Collection of dues and repossession of security. In case banks / NBFCs have their own code for collection of dues it should, at the minimum, incorporate all the terms of IBA's Code.

                                (b) In particular, in regard to appointment of third party agencies for debt collection, it is essential that such agents refrain from action that could damage the integrity and reputation of the bank / NBFC and that they observe strict customer confidentiality. All letters issued by recovery agents must contain the name and address of a responsible senior officer of the card issuing bank whom the customer can contact at his location.

                                (c) Banks / NBFCs / their agents should not resort to intimidation or harassment of any kind, either verbal or physical, against any person in their debt collection efforts, including acts intended to humiliate publicly or intrude the privacy of the credit card holders’ family members, referees and friends, making threatening and anonymous calls or making false and misleading representations.

                                Like I have already suggested, I do want to pay, however, I need help from you as a bank officer in stopping such maligning and disturbing incidents. I'd like to get this sorted out and would like to start paying my card from December 2019.

                                Kindly suggest the actions taken against the collection agencies and the agency and also help me pay you back.

                                  Hello experts,

                                  I am a customer of hdfc bank holding an saving account from 2018. I am using my card for my daily transaction through atm or online banking. Today (28 may, 2019) while checking my bank statement online i have noticed that somehow my 7400.00 has been deducted from my account and i received an sms for same. Statement shows that money has been deducted from my account at google * future tech, even when card is with me all the time. And i was home (Indore) and for work (Crystal it park indore) on same day. That means somebody using my card details to access my account. Even i didn't received otp for the transaction.

                                  I need your advise how to track this issue, can it be bank fault or its a 3 party fraud or its a mistake by bank. I have already logged complaint to hdfc bank. How may i claim my money back?

                                    I am a holder of HDFC Diners Club International credit card for Long. I am continuously making all my payment is full and timely. There was the case once i delayed payment and after discussion with HDFC concerned same was wave off and i paid payment accordingly. But in Credit card statement same was levied. Basis HDFC confirmation I am doing my payment as per my purchases for particular month but HDFC is keep on charging financial and late fees charges for which i am not liable. This matter is almost 6 month old. and on various occasion i request to HDFC Customer care to rectify the same. but no result. Kindly wave off all extra charges for long term patronage with HDFC

                                      As i had open my salary account in the hdfc bank after sometime i left that company. The bank converted my salary account into the saving account without informing me and there are charges on that account. I visited to the bank to close that account but they are saying to pay the charges 1000/-. I want to close that account. Please help me with this as for me the 1000/- is big amount.

                                      Average Monthly Balance is calculated out at the end of the month. This is the average of the closing credit balance in the Account at the end of each day during the calendar month (i.e. a total of the daily closing credit balance divided by the total number of days during the month). In case this average is less than the minimum prescribed for your account, the charges for non-maintenance will be levied at the beginning of the following month along with the GST at the applicable rates.                                       I have salary account in the HDFC bank. As per my knowledge salary account can be maintained as zero balance. Then why you are charging charges for non maintenance of average monthly balance.because of these charges i am not able to credit my salary in the HDFC account. I will not pay the charges as i have salary account. I want to close this account.

                                        With reference to a telephonic call with Ms. Hasina Pawar - Credit Card Agent HDFC Bank Mob No : +91 [protected] & +[protected] is continously harassing me with phone calls in my office landline number. I asked her call on my Mobile Number but she is not. In our telephonic discussion, I asked her give my statement, on which she answered that she cant give any statement to me and so i informed her to give me this in written. she is even not ready for it, Just continously calling and mentally harassing me. HDFC Agents are not helping me out. i dropped a email as well.

                                        I want strong actions to be taken against her. On receipt of proper statement of my usage, I shall surely make the Payment back.
