ICICI Bank has terrible OTP service. Every time there is a fund transfer needed urgently I either get OTP after long time or I don't get it. I usually end up using other bank accounts for any transaction. ICICI Bank name is big but not sure if they are actually looking at core issues. Very bad experience on 17/10/2020 and 18/10/2020 where I spend the entire weekend trying to call customer service and no avail. No clear indication on OTP. If I use the IBOTP option it gives unrelated error. Utter waste of time!

ICICI Bank OTP has mood swings. Sometimes it comes, may be once in 10 attempts. Then if we try OTP on call, call from a North America number comes with nice Indian Music but no OTP. When called NRI service they don’t have a clue if there is SMS or OTP on call problems. They ask to check with my service provider while they don’t understand the arguments that :
1) All SMS from everywhere are coming
2) If SMS is sent successfully it follows and email which doesn’t come when SMS has not come.
3) We waste time for incoming call OTP for no use.
Do something guys.

        Hi Team,

        It been 4 months, we are chasing bank to get the refund of demat acount which we have not requested.

        We have tried everything - visited bank, approached via twitter/email/complain page & spoke to customer care. Nothing helped, your chutiya/dumb employees are not understanding OR may be they pretend they are not understanding for their goo[censored]p.

        I opened FD in your bank. The sales person came & collected the documents. He never discussed about the demat account while opening the FD.

        Later I was surprised to see the deduction for the service (Demat A/C) which I never used because I was not aware whether I have any demat account.

        I checked the demat opening form & found the signature is not done by me. The signature is different.

        Your sales person has done the signature & opened the demat account without my consent in order to achieve the sales target. For that I have enough proof. I have the copy of demat account opening form with forged signature.

        This is really big issue. I hope issue will resolve soon, otherwise will drag you to consumer forum for doing forgery.

        ### ### ICICI. I know you people will never help to rectify the issue because of you have commited huge crime.

        This time you ###S have opened the demat account with forge signature & deducted the charges.

        I emailed to senior management as well, no reponse. It seems the management also aware of the fraud done by their employees.

        Finally RBI lokpal found ICICI guilty of doing document forgery to open demat acoount without consumer consent. RBI forced ICICI to return whole demat changes to consumer.

        We have not taken any strict action against ICICI due to the lack of time. Document forgery is biggest crime as per indian law.
        Similar thing happened with me. With the savings account opening.
        Agent forged signature on the demat forms.

        Charges deducted for past 3 years. No email. No message for deductions from saving.

        What to do now?

          Iwish account disappeared from my account

          Icici i wish deposit details have been removed from my account before the maturity itself. I am not able to see the amount or the i wish account details. I thought it's a system issue.. But it's been more than 10 days, I'm not seeing my iwish account itself. It was there in October 01st week but not seeing after that.
          Don't trust icici anymore... With high difficulty, I was trying to save bit of my amount for health emergencies......

          I get rental payments from my tenant in Bangalore. This is made into my father's account (which I maintain) and I usually immediately transfer this to my father's local (home) ICICI account since it's his money and I'm just managing it for him since he's not in the same city as the tenant whereas I am. This time, after I transferred the received rental amount to my father's account, the original payment got reversed to the tenant without my consent or authorisation and now 40k has been reduced from the bangalore account i.e. you have reversed the amount by dipping into my savings. How is this even allowed?

          I struggled hard to get my tenant to pay up and finally after a lot of delay and got the amount and now the tenant is denying that a reversal was made. When I called my branch and asked for details, they told me it has been reversed and that it was a server error. If it's a server error, it is a fault on your part and you are responsible to fix it. So kindly check the transaction number of the reversal and please put the amount back into my account.

          I got my tenant to repay amount after quite a struggle. This is totally a mistake on the bank part as it enables cheating. What if I had sold a product to someone and they paid amount thro ICICI bank but then this issue happens and they get refunded? They would have the money (even thou I didn't initiate it) and they would also have the product so I would be cheated. Bank should not make such mistakes--and when I called support all I got was "server error" and an apology with no reverse of the amount. I struggled to make my tenant pay up the amount. If this happened in the US, you folks would have been sued big time because of this.

          I got my tenant to repay amount after quite a struggle. This is totally a mistake on the bank part as it enables cheating. What if I had bought a product from someone and given the product? The money would be refunded to them (even thou I didn't initiate it) and they would also have the product. Bank should not allow such mistakes. If this was the US, you folks would have been sued big time because this happened.

            I would like to bring it to your notice that, the amount of rs199/- has been deducted from my icici account and the transaction message says vsi/amazon stan. Neither had i done any transaction nor did i get any otp during the transaction. Neither i am a prime member thinking to be auto renewal. I have checked this when i was going through my account statement, the amount was debited on 17th October, 2020. Could you please assist me regarding this.                 Sir i had made a transaction on 29 september 2020 on eazypay through upi. Amount rs 600 has been debited from my account but has not been recieved by the benefeciaries yet.

                Actually i was filling an online application for bpsc and when i went for payment and done paying through upi amount got deducted but bpsc didnt recieved the payment yet and is still saying to make a payment

                      My name is ajay agravat and i am holding a salary account in ICICI bank. I just saw today whene i checked my account online, i had been charged POSDEC CHG for many number of time RS.29.50 each for many months. Most of time i have not used my card so why charged me first explain me about charges. And give me a refund my all money wich was debited from my account by POSDEC CHG.. other wise i am go for next level.

                            I had just open a new salary account in ICICI Bank, at that time they do not informed me about the expression debit card and they had activated the service. After that i had a word with my company bank executive he informed me about the expression card, at the same time i had visited the bank again and told them i do not want to activate this service. After that also they had activated the service. Executive of your bank is doing fraud with people.
                            So kindly disable or cancel my expression card service and work on customer care service also.

                              What's the issue with Icici bank today? All the services(Debit card, Credit card, net banking, upi) are down since morning and I am not able to transact. Customer care number is also not responding. This is not the right way to handle this issue. Kindly inform about the problem and when the services will be up again.

                                  I have applied for a Morgage LOAN to icici bank via one of its DSA persons name Parth Modi. Seeing my financial eligibility person said that you will be eligible for LOAN but you might get some lesser amount then the desired amount. He said that he had checked with the bank and the eligibility part is clear. He taken all documents with 2 cheque for processing fees.

                                  I remitted vide reference no[protected] of Icici bank through NEFT Rs 10000 to Laxman Das Rakhi Das account no [protected]on 14october around 2pm from ICICI BANK to state bank of India KAKDIP branch IFSC code sbin0001319 .2days have passed still the amount has not been credited in beneficiary account . As per RBI guideline this amount should be credited in bunch of 2 hours or returned to senders account within 1 day
