I purchased a top-load washing machine from flipkart on 27th june 2020 and the product was delivered on 4th july 2020.
Due to covid-19, the installation did not happen as there was a setup pending for tap water and therefore the demo also did not happen.
When the setup was completed, i called the executive for the demo.
By this time, my return policy from flipkart had already ended which was 14th july 2020.
Now, when the executive came for the demo, he found some issues with the dispenser or some noise issue and he registered a complaint and they said that some part is not working correctly, so that would be replaced which have not been done till now.
My question is: if i have not used the product even once and we found an issue with the functioning of the product, isn't it a manufacturing defect??
The service engineer and the head of the area lg service are saying that product replacement is not possible.
I am really surprised by this kind of lg product and their service.
It is very dissatisfying and frustrating.
LG Electronics customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
2nd time I have also ordered and 15 days gone but no update from giffiti.
I request lg to look into this and get this resolved asap or else this time have to go in consumer court and file complaints against lg and giffiti.
