I purchased a top-load washing machine from flipkart on 27th june 2020 and the product was delivered on 4th july 2020.

Due to covid-19, the installation did not happen as there was a setup pending for tap water and therefore the demo also did not happen.

When the setup was completed, i called the executive for the demo.
By this time, my return policy from flipkart had already ended which was 14th july 2020.
Now, when the executive came for the demo, he found some issues with the dispenser or some noise issue and he registered a complaint and they said that some part is not working correctly, so that would be replaced which have not been done till now.

My question is: if i have not used the product even once and we found an issue with the functioning of the product, isn't it a manufacturing defect??

The service engineer and the head of the area lg service are saying that product replacement is not possible.

I am really surprised by this kind of lg product and their service.
It is very dissatisfying and frustrating.

          I Mr Koli purchased Lg refrigerator on 14/4/2018. Six month was working in good condition, after that the freezing system stop working.I complaint to the Lg service department, technician came to my house adjust temperature, door and went same procedure is going on till two years.After that the lg service department doesn't attend my call.             Dear Support,

            I would like to raise an issue faced from LG Service center recently.

            On 10th Aug 2020, all of a sudden the LG 260 Ltr refrigerator stop working in Sister’s home & she raised a complaint with LG service center (Complaint ref no#[protected].
            After waiting of 3 days the service center person from Pattampi (Palagat, Kerala) visited on 13/08/2020.
            After inspection the technician informed that the mother board is damaged & cost of replacing the mother board will be around INR 3, 200/-.

            We already connected this refrigerator with a stabilizer even though this LG refrigerator is having an inbuilt stabilizer as per LG (Works Without stabilizer 100V-290V, Protection against Fluctuation).
            As per the technician this damage was happened due to the nonfunctioning of our stabilizer, but it’s not true. We took our stabilizer to V Guard Service center they tested & confirmed that its working, no issues were found. Also there were no power surge happened in home & no other electronic equipment was damaged. We strongly believe that this may due to some other cause or manufacturing issue.

            Please note that the refrigitor was purchased on 05-JAN-2019, and its only 1 year & 8 months of very normal usage, as its small family of 2 member and my mother. The refrigerator never overloaded with items.
            Before also we were using LG refrigerator for almost 15 years and with no issues.

            At this pandemic situation my sister and family is not in a position to bear this cost as my brother in law already lost his job in July 2020.

            You are kindly request to provide an exemption on this part replacement on free of cost.

            Also we would like to bring attention of approach from LG Support center :-
            After the visit /inspection, we asked the technician to provide an Official service report for this, but he said he can’t provide any inspection such reports, we don’t know why like this now ??
            For this visit they charged us INR 416/- & also they are not even ready to give a cash receipt also for the payment done.
            Since they are not providing any officials invoices or receipts, we don’t know the charges what the technician informed is valid or not !!

            Thanks, we received a response from LG that we need to raise a complaint again on this issue and asked us to call LG Area Manager Mr. Ramesh.

            We did the same by calling the Area Manager (Mr. Ramesh) and we informed the issue in detail and our related concerns. He said he will check the issue with his team and concerned LG service Manager will call us back. But till date no one called us back.

            Yesterday my sister got a call back from Pattambi LG Service Center (Mr. Ratheesh) and asked us what’s our plan on case which we raised, as they want close the case & can’t keep open the issue like this.
            My sister said that we were waiting for feedback from LG Service Manager, so give us some more time, but he is again insisting us to give an immediate reply.

            Actually he is forcing us to take an action immediately and said he had no other information on this. Then he said after warranty they can’t do anything & only customer has to pay cash for any replacements and services, we also know this fact!!
            We informed him that this refrigerator is only one year and few months old and the mother board got damaged which must not happen from a reputed brand like LG. Then he said that it’s an electronic device and anything may happen anytime. His reply was in such a manner that he is also not believing the brand which he do service. He just need us to pay the amount & do the replacement.

            The manner of this LG service center representative was so disappointing and an unprofessional way of approach to my sister who is a Person of Determination.
            We already explained our current financial situation, that’s why we asked LG team to give an exception on this case, we never used to ask for anything which we are not deserved.

            Please inform your support team to behave properly to customers especially to female.

            We are expecting an immediate intervention from LG higher representative to get our issues resolved

                  As per my last complaint the problem is not resolved.

                  As per said by your technician, the refrigerator will be sent to the service center for repair purposes and it will take 2 days.

                  We just inform you that our product is new and just 5 months of purchase and there is no damage and scratches are available on the body.

                  So if we found any scratches or damage in the body of the refrigerator we will not accept it.

                  So please handle it carefully.

                      Worst product and pathetic service provided by LG. I have purchased an LG washing machine (front load). It worked well for few years and then there was a display/PCB related problem. We called LG customer care and they sent some engineers (these engineers have no LG card no identity card) and they say they belong to some dealer in Pune. I got the PCB replaced at the price of INR 4500, no bill provided by the engineer. After 6 months I faced the same problem and I called the same person. He says I am in my home town and never responded to the calls.

                      When I went to LG customer care center in Katraj, they are not ready to talk and when I asked the security person (Thackeray) to connect me to some person he straight away said there is no one today and got into argument with me. We spend 27k on the machine and they treat us like beggers...such a worst service, I will never buy LG products hence forth. Fraudulent company, worst product and service.

                          I have purchased lg window ac dual inverter 1.5 ton 5 star from bansal electrovision pvt. Ltd. Gurgaon haryana dated 24th may 2020. But they sent me damage and dent ac installed in hurry with local fitter. When i object he told me to complain distributor he will change it. But in that course of time distributor didn't pick phone. I had reported lg guys
                          Deputed at store. He also not do any thing. He told me i have complained to cutomer service they will come and resolve it. I am in shock that how can distributor do this. When i invest hard cash for new ac. This is surprised me that a distributor of lg is cheating customer and company is not taking any action. I never think lg will do this kind of cheating with customer. Lg has also not taken any action yet. I complaint to lg but his c&c manager gurgaon mr sarvagya singh contact no - [protected] is in favour of distributor and without any concent close my complaint.
                          Please look into the matter and justify with me.

                              Hi sir/madam,
                              My name is ranjeet and my registered mobile number is [protected]. For my refrigerator there is a small issue its double door unit and top portion is freezing good but, the down portion cooling is not happening.in the month of sep 2019, nov 2019, dec 2019 and july 2020 many technicians has been visited multiple times and changed the spare parts like module timer, controller assembly and heater plate but still the problem is not resolved. They are coming to my home and experimenting with my refrigerator. There is a capability issue and also they are trying to make money and cheating me.

                              Last friday mr. Shamugam changed the heater plate and charged around 800 rupees, but, not provided the bill. I have called customer care multiple times also called some senior staff named ms. Monika, mr. Rajkumar and mr. Jagdish but, no action still. I have already spent more then 2000 rupees so far one by one they are kepp changing the spare parts but, no solution still. Pls trace my mobilee number you'll get the complete history of the services.

                              Pls help me to resolve the issue. I need to escalate it to top official in lg.

                                Hi I have purchased new washing machine in Feb 2020,
                                Since then have lodged 5 complaints regarding washing issues and also have damaged number of clothes due to soaps getting stuck with clothes also even after complete washing clothes get stickiness due to soap being not washed out properly which again by no means is good for clothes.
                                However LG technical team has been unable to resolve the issues and is of the opinion that machine is running fine .
                                Hence i would strictly recommend never to buy the above product as its a faulty or substandard product also if you can help me to resolve this issue it would of great help.

                                  Hi team..

                                  This is with regards to the rnp[protected].
                                  The issue isn't resolved still. The outdoor unit is still making a steel rubbing loud screeching noise.
                                  The service center balaji service center is incompetent in handling the case. The person in charge is rude and refuses to address the issue.
                                  They keep sending over technician who aren't clear at all. If i pinpoint the problem they don't have much idea about it.
                                  The request was put on 23rd june.. And today's 4th august.
                                  From customer care i was advised to contact mr sagar pande at [protected]. He doesn't attend the call and he is ignoring the issue altogether despite sending over audio clips of the noise. And trying to contact him.
                                  I have sent numerous email to [protected]@lge.com but no response from them.
                                  If i call the customer care number. They tell me i will get a callback. But i don't get any response from them either.

                                    So i bought lg refrigerator and vacuum cleaner and tv
                                    But when i need a simple door rack lg says it’s not available, they guy who called from a service centre says lg does not have proper service centre here.
                                    For my vacuum cleaner i can’t get attachments as they are not willing to help with any information. I lost the bag of accessories while shifting. Lg products in india looks useless now. Please can someone help me with this
