Hi,
My name is Gurdeep Singh and I'm facing a problem with MTNL Broadand since so many months. My home phone number[protected] is registered on my mother's name (Balvinder Kaur) and my broadband connection is not working. I've registered numerous complaints for the same but nothing has been done so far. My Broadband connection goes on-off on regular basis since 2 months and mutliple complaints have been lodged against it. Whenever I call the customer service, they say that it will be resolved with 24 hrs. I've called the MTNL Area Manager thrice, but still the problem persists. I've been paying them for the services which I'm not availing...Please advise....

mtnl broadband on my telephone no.28535593 is not working for the last 10 days. despite complaints on 1504 nobody cares and more alarming 1504 always in waiting. it is waiting for regular 24 hours.the mtnl service is disgusting and hell.this is one of the reason thats why mtnl is loosing its consumers day by day.
My MTNL Broadband is not working since last one year and there is no responce from any body in MTNL. You try to contact area manager, general manager etc etc and every one responds saying that it will be looked into. Most surprising is that fault booked on computer recorded or at 1504 is noy attended for months or gets cancelled. I don't now how to get something done. If anybody has any idea please help.
i have installed an mtnl triband connection in january this year, just from hearing from my friends about good conectivity and high speed.but to my bad luck this connection only worked for a month or so.since 7-8 odd months i am just paying the bill of 999- unlimited plan but my broadband is not working.
i have complained the same problem enormous times but it fell on deaf ears. now i am planning to cut the connection from my house.i wish one last time if some one could help me!

This mail is regarding my complaint which i registered for my broadband connection.I am a subscriber of MTNL triband, landline and MTNL Trump also.I am completely dissatisfied, frustrated and fed up of the service provided by the MTNL Delhi staff, for my boradband connection.I am using this broadband connection for last 8 months and landline for last 10+ years. Since i have taken your broadband connection for my house use, as my children are studying in higher standards, it has not been working properly.Then time since i have opted for the broadband that is last 8 months, my net has worked hardly for 2 months, though i have regulary paid my bills on time.
I have regulary registered complaints for my broadband but neva received any satisfactory step from your side. And if received, that was also temprory. And this time i literally fed up off your system.
I registered a complaint on 24th of march that my net isn't working properly and my adsl light isnt getting fixed.It is getting disconnected again and again. Aftr 2 dayz when i dint get any technical response from your side, then i again logged a complaint on 26th of march.But as usual again i dint get any response.Then i decided to visit SDO office of my area which is Near mother dairy mayur vihar phase 2 as i am living in trilokpuri. But after reaching there i was quite shocked because SDO wasnt present there in office working hours and niether he was on leave.He was present but not on the duty. Still i managed to register the same complaint there regarding my problem and they told me that it would be solved out with in one day.But today is 31st of march and still i have not seen any of the MTNL employee, let it be Line man, techincal engineer or anyone to solve out my problem.When i tried to approach these peoples on my own their response was so rude and shocking. They clearly denied that they have not received any of the complaints on my number.So i again called SDO and yet another time he replied that he isnt in his office and he asked me to call him back after 1 hour, which i did but then he picked up the call and disconnected.After that i tried to contact my area manager but he also didn't pick the call as always.So on 31/03/2009 once again i have registered another complaint for the same.This has been a limit and its getting over now. I am writting this mail to get proper and satisfactory action against all of these authorities along with the settlement of my net connection.I have been a very sincere and responsible consumer of yours and expects to get the proper treatment.I believe in MTNL customer care and expects to get justice for my case. I am providing all the details of mine as well as the authorities who behaved in such a childish manner. please have a look and solve the problem as soon as possible.Otherwise being a consumer i have other options to get satisfactory results as well.

I have given complaint thrugh 1504 arround two weeks before. Somebody came to check the connectivity and gone. Again I had call to Defence Colony area office for the same. But still nobady attend the complaint and or rectify it.

My broadband connection against number[protected] is not working properly with effect from 17th May 2009. Some times network comes & most of the times it goes off. I made complaint several time but no one responded well. Some times they told that the strike is on so can not give complaint number & some time it was told that the server of my are is not working. No proper response was given. Lastly, on 24th May 09 the complaint was lodged vides number 41000141 & they confirm that modem is not working and the same will be replaced with 24 hrs.Whenever we complaint, the standard time of 24 hrs is given but they are not resolving the first complaint which was lodged. The complaints are overlapping without solutions. Today, again complaint number 41100230 has been given but no solution provided till now.

Please intervene & resolve the issue amicably.
I have subscribed to MTNL TriB Combo connection. In May my Broadband connection was out of service for 15 days.During this period i submitted numerous complaints through the IVR complaint service as well as to MTNL cust care employees but to no avail. Calls to the Vasant Vihar SDO(never to be found in office) and JTO were never attended.Finally i had to skip office and visit Vasant Vihar exchange personally. The SDO Vijender Singh was not in office, i met the JTO Virender Singh and put up my complaint. Inspite of his assurance no action was taken and net reamained down.Alas i had no option but to visit the exchange again personally.Again the SDO was not in office(as usual). Again the JTO assured me that net would be rectified in next 12 Hrs.However it took another 48 Hrs for my Broadband service to be fuctional.The entire period exceeded 15 days. Now after a gap of about a week my Broadband is again down for the last five days.Again the same vicious cycle of complaints and customer care reps, all to no avail. I wonder what it will take to finally shake MTNL out of its slumber and deliver results.The only thing they seem to be prompt at is sending your phone bills in time(that too mostly inflated).If somebody from MTNL is reading this than pl get my Broadband rectified ASAP.

Dear Sir,
With highest level of disappointment and dissatisfaction with the way consumer complaints are handled in your department.lodging problem.My internet on the number[protected] is not working since last 2 months.I tried to contact your customer care executives at 1500, 10501, 1502, 1503, 1504 and got no response.None of your CCE is availabe anytime.Modem works properly, but when we call them, we are told that the server is down.
Since last to months am paying an amount of Rs. 800, without any services from your side.And this is the last time am doing that.

Otherwise, consumer court is the last option left for me.

i m swati living in rani bagh and my telephone no. is[protected], consumer no. is[protected].

i m using mtnl broadband 599 plan with 256kbps speed. but my net is not working with committed speed and the link with modem is also disconnected several times.i m booking complaints against this problem several times but all in vain. Nobody will come on my home and see this problem/fault only a single time.

Most surprising is that fault booked on computer recorded or at 1504 is not attended for last 2-3 days or gets cancelled.

I don't now how to get something done.

i request to the concerned authorities to plz. look into this matter.

the landline phone is fully dead there are very annoying loud noises. we cant hear the person who is talking to us on landline. please send a engineer fast as possible.

Had my plan changed last month, Still not getting the upgraded bandwidth

I changed my plan in the beginning of august 2014 to 4 mbps Unlimited, yet after daily reminder and calls, i am getting a max of 1.8mbps.

    dear sir,
    i applyed a new connection of landline phone from MTNL online on 1-6-10.
    after 2 days of online apply a salesman from Goyel enterprises comes and collect all necessery document and Rs 500/- (fee of new registration) and filled new Application form. in Application form, all documents (Gas coonection + Pan Card) and receipt of above connection form given by salesman show my address is C-36A, pandav nagar. sales man promiss me to take one week for install new connection. but after 15 days i called him for new connection then he give me my mtnl CA no. [protected] and ask me to contact mtnl office for further process.
    on[protected] line man from mtnl comes and ask me that your booked connection have wrong address entry. it is C-63A instead of C-36A. so ask me to contact office for check your address and correct it.

    i am not free for office travelling for complaint. so please correct my address and install telephone on my house.

      i have purchased usb modem 3g jadoo (People make) on 12th may 2010 from M/s 21st Century, Shakti Nagar, New Delhi-07 authorised distributor for MTNL.
      this product provided me satisfatory services only for few days. then the disconnection problem arose.
      we had been asking from customer care, but none was able to solve our problem. at last we lodged written complaint (no[protected]. after few days the complaint was again renumbered as 18300512. till date nothing has been done. we had purhcased internet connection for study purposes as my childrens in higher education. they need every time the help of internet. But it has been so irritating that they just lost their interest in internet.
      now the situation is at a position that if this complaint is not attended to properly then we are bound to go legally.
      hoping positive and immediate action from your end.

          I Mr M Alam would like you to please Deactivate your so called mobidate dating subscription services. which I Never subscribed for & Return my balance. My Rs.30 had been deducted from Balance on 15th June 2010.
          Last month also Rs 30 has been deducted twice.

            HTE NET CONNCETION HAS BEEN WORKING WITH INTURRUPTIONS AT FREUENT UNEQUAL INTERVALS, AFTER I USED THIS FORUM FOUR DAYS AGO. THE SERVICE INDUSTRY HS TO PROVIDE 24X7 SERVICES, IN CASE OF MAJOR BREAK, THEY SHOULD INTIMATE USER BY WAY OF SMS /LAND LINE NBR WITH EXPECTED TIME OF RESUMPTION OF SERVICES SO USER CAN PLAN THEIR SCHEDULE EFECTIVELY.

            I recently got a new landline[protected] with WI-FI connection at my home. The internet stopped working form the very next day. For the past 5 days I have been continuously calling customer care 1504 but in vain. NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN TILL DATE. Every time I am given a new complaint number or given a (false) assurance that the problem will be resolved in next 24hrs. I have even talked to Area Manger but still no action.

            MTNL Broadband — non working of internet

            my internt is not working and made complaint on 18 april 09, but no action was taken to rectify the same. even informed to dgm office on 22 april. kindly rectify the problem immediately.
            i have my own experience on call centre 1504- most of them r useless and not able to rectify the problem telephonically. pl train them or recuirt knowledgable executives.

            Sir, My landline no. is 28345342 with broadband connection. Hardly it works for a week, net is disconnected. I compliant at 28342490 & 28342727 may be fifty or sixty times they say Mr. SUNIL will look into it. When I contacted Mr. Sunil at[protected] either his phone is out of range or he did nt pick it. It is very shameful act by the employee of large P.S.U. It makes the reputation of the company & country in doldrums. Do you know that neither of the private co. or foriegn co. uses your services. Think it.

              I have the MTNL Broadband service but as the Internet speed is very slow, I are very unsatisfied with the service. Every time I switch it on and off to get a better speed but the speed remain's the same. Moreover when I am working on the net my telephone line always gets disturbed. I don't want to continue the MTNL Broadband service anymore, I kindly request you to kindly disconnect this facility from next month that is June 2014.
              Please reply as soon as possible.

                this is right. also, in piampura, g&ju-block, delhi. people are suffering from low speed of internet that is, around-3 to 4kBps only. please take action on this . unless and until i have to remove my mtnl conection, and have a new one from reliance or any other company.sir i had taken your connection because i think it will be a trusty one, but it is not

                  Dear sir,

                  I have registered on[protected] for mtnl broadband ( phone no.[protected] and paid initial amount of 500/ rs , but still they have not provided me the above service, after contacting to the mtnl customer care they informed me that they have modem shortage.
                  But finally customer is going to suffer all these problem.Then how can people stick with this kind of Gover5nment services?

                  I hope my problem will be short soon after my this complain.

                      Complaint No 1 - The broadband service is really pathetic, as it is disconnected anytime while using the internet.

                      Complaint No 2 - I have already sent this complaint to the MTNL greviance department but still no action has been taken till now. It is really frustating.

                      I am owning a telephone number[protected] with broadband facility with it. I gave an application to shift my telephone within the same area, same exchange and same colony on 13th May 2010 in the Hauz Khas office. On 19th May 2010 when I went to check the status of my request I was told that my application has already been forwarded on 17th May 2010 to the concerned area office (Mehrauli). When I visited the Mehrauli sanchar haat on 19th May 2010 they said they have not received any application from Hauz Khas. I visited again the Mehrauli sanchar haat again on 02 June 2010 spoke to SDO Mr. Akela and the line man, the line man said he has my telephone number status to be shifted, but could not answer why it has not been shifted till now, since 17th May 2010. I think you could be the better person to answer for this.

                      Service Commitments by MTNL - Where as MTNL commits TARGETS FOR PROVISIONING /SHIFTING:- We are providing our services like new connections, local shifting, inter exchange shifting, closer of cases, additional facilities within the set norms of the MTNL Delhi. Provision of new connections, local shift and inter exchange shift cases are done with in 3 days. Closing and additional facilities are provided within 24 hours.
                      The Same is my position. My existing telephone No. 26713771 with broadband from R.K. Puram was to be shifted, vide O.B. No.11414 dated 08.06.2010. Many officers of MTNL were contacted. Mr. D.P. Singh pleaded helplessness, as the matter is pending with Mr. S.K. Akela, who is not available.

                        i am a mtnl user since 4 years and after seeing the new broadband plan of 512kbps unlimited i change to that plan. But i dont get the said speed. Rather i get a speed which is 1/4th the speed said by mtnl. I complain 3 times on customer care but there is no change. I call the general manager mira-bhayander branch on [protected] and he asks me to contact mr h k singh on number [protected] but he does nothing. its been 11 days since i complain but no one hears

                          Since yesterday evening (7:15PM), the MTNL Broadband at my place is not working (Thane-West, Panchpakhadi Area). My phone number is 25363094.

                          This is a problem for me. My next door neighbour is using the same service and its working fine for him.

                          I called on 1504 to find out, the lady there tells me that its the problem with the MTNL Server. I asked if that is the case then how is it working for my neighbour. She cooly says that "if its working for him what can be done, i cannot disconnect his connection". And she says that wait for sometime, it will work. She also kept asking if all the lights on Modem are glowing. I don't understand why such people are kept as call center executives if they don't even know how to answer the queries of customers.

                          Coming back to my problem, this is still not working for me. I have also logged a complaint on 198 (Docket number: 6790).

                          If this will not work for today also, i will minus the amount starting yesterday night and then pay the bill for this month. Since i am also in Service industry i know how to deal with such people and situations. Please note this and don't argue with me when i pay less.

                          MNTL is not the only service providor who gives service in Mumbai now. I will just terminate and move to some other service.

                            I want to activate GPRS on my Nokia 6030 model which is very common model and compatible for GPRS facility. I am holding Trump SIM Card of Mumbai location.
                            I have sent request SMS "ACT GPRS" to 444 thrice and also had made 8-10 times follow ups on their call centre no. 1503, where they ahd replied that you will get a call from our (MTNL) side and your problem will be solved. However till date I havn't received any feedback from MTNl.
                            So what should be done further I don't know, whether I should wait for reply from MTNL for another decade or right away throw away the SIM in dustbin.

                              i have a mtnl connection . the mtnl broadband service so poor that the modem gets restarted in every ten minutes and sometimes connections is not available between 3 to 5 pm
                              the connection sometimes gets so slow .we have taken the sceam of 512 kbps but the internet works like 128 kbps . i a have to do some work on internet i cant use net steadily for 15 minutes also the internet connection gets lost in between and i have to wait for net connection getting back then i resume my work
                              i experience this problem whenever i use internet
                              i am fed up from this third class connection please look at my problem as soon as possible

                                I have MTNL land line no. 23619905 since many years in the name of Mr. Kiran Babulal shah.
                                Recently I asked for a triband connection and it was delivered with a regular ADSL [No WiFi] modem pretty soon. After that on 24th April I registered a complaint so that they would exchange my regular modem with a wifi one. But till date they haven't snt it and the customer service lines keep giving me different numbers to call up which are never answered by anyone.
                                I have already received a bill since i got my Triband connection and have paid for the modem also!
                                Apparently the 1500 helpline people tell me that according to them I have already received it on 10 May or so which is wrong as I haven't even been contacted by anyone regarding the same. hence they give me local land line numbers to contact and check for myself about the modem's status.

                                MTNL Tri band — low wifi speed

                                i m using mtnl tri band combo plan of 320 kb/s service, but i never get this speed , even i never get doublke digit speed, whenever i start to download any file , the download speed locate 2-3 kb/s , i m tired
                                of this mtnl service, very very very bad service......

                                I expect this from mtnl.
                                From my experience, This is most common approach all the public sector companies follow towards the customers. After all this is INDIA meri jaan..

                                  Sub: Excess amount of bill – Reg.

                                  I would like to inform you that I applied for a broadband connection in Chidambaram around three months back with a 500C monthly plan. I got the connection on end of March 2008. My plan offered night unlimited (2 am to 8 am) and Down load & upload Limit (GB) is 1.5GB. I utilized within this limit. To my disappointment my May 2008 month bill was Rs. 1086/- which is impossible. My day usage has never exceeded that much. I utilized day usage 0.9GB only. They are charging my night usage which is eventually free of cost.

Because of my trust with the bank, i belive the bank will pay my bill, it is not six month. I disconnect once my phone and intrnet connection. Then only i came to know the bank didnot pay my bill amount. My credit limit is available more then 10 times of this amount required. Kindly check my card balance.                                   Respected sir,

                                  Greetings!!!!! I am regular user of Reliance communications for the last two years...Without any information I was disconnected of my outgoing facility today. I am really not upset that they disconnected. My compalin is that after calling the reliance help line on *222 i spoke to three differnt customer support guys who told me that if I PAID AN INTERIM AMOUNT OF Rs.1000/- my phone would be activated. I did the necessary and as promised by them that the same would get active in half an hour nothing happened. I called up and then to find out that they say that i should have paid Rs1,300/- My usage according to them is high and even my bills are soaring high. I have three connections of Reliance, one net connect so in total i have four connections in total, Now for a pedly amount of Rs.300 they will not activate my phone. TRAI regulations are very clear for all service providers that - NO SERVICE PROVIDER CAN DISCONNECT SERVICES WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE AND NOT DEFENETLY FOR A SMALL AMOUNT. It is all about ethics and these guys have taken the whole country to ransom by doing all this. I strongly object to such behaviourial attitudes from service providers. It is because of the common man that they keep themselves floating.

                                  I would defenetly like to drag the reliance guys to court and expect complete support from your end. I am sure that as an individual and as a citizen of the country that is so proud of its rich culture and heritage and many other values I will expect only JUSTICE.

                                      my bill of last month was 608/- which was more .I have submitted application and paid amount in all but as promised to me that in next bill the adjustments will be done but all in vain.
                                      As my bill is 250 combo in which 400MB is free but i have used in the mth of april only 243 MB but instead of Rs. 250/- they have charged rental of 150+241.25+tax which is unjustified and unacceptable.
