Hotel - Spot on 67398 Hotel Shree Pawan Paradise
Subject- Refund didn't initiated

I am Govind, recently I booked a hotel name "spot on 67398 shree pawan paradise" for 1 feb to 7 feb 2022 from oyo at bangalore. But I did early checkout due worse condition of room at 2 feb before 10:30 am, after consulting the oyo management. Due some error hotel was unable to mark checkout, after consulting oyo management, they said me to call after my checkout date for refund but was unable to connect with them. After sending complaint by website I got a call back at 9feb telling my refund will be initiated within the 7-14 days, but it's been more than a month and I am not getting listened.
I have tried many times contacting oyo management for my refund issue by your app, mails, calls, and website too but am not got my refund yet neither getting response! Due that Am forced to take legal actions against this, if my issue continues for some more days I will be forced to seek for legal actions to get my refund back.
Well I wasn't expecting that to happen but due the poor customer service am seeking to get help through legal action, if nothing works.
I just want my money back, please seek into this!

Totally a worse experience ever had for hotel rooms and for customer care services, But after a month, and trying several times by different ways, nothing worked but atlast when I came to think to proceed for legal actions, I only got my refund back without further actions!

      I checked in to OYO 15858 Hotel Grand Comforts on 17th Feb 2022 with Booking ID: A6MD4725.

      We had very unpleasant stay in this hotel. I would request for refund to the source account for our bad experience with OYO hotels and also the team to address the below complaints.

      Complaints:
      1. There is no room heater but it is mentioned under amenities that it is available. We were unable to sleep in that cold winter temperature in Srinagar.
      2. TV wasn't working at all.
      3. There is no water bottle and kettle for hot water. Since temperature is so cold, we requested him for Hot water. So he gave water in a tub, not sure if its properly fetched. Typically OYO provides packaged bottles at least.
      4. No Toiletries are available etc. In fact, used soaps were left in the room, and no cleaning was done by the staff. One expired unopened soap was lying in the room near the tv, from almost a year (from expiration date), but no one bothered to remove that.
      5. Food availability was restricted wrt time of the day, as per the hotel mgmt. But if I go outside, food was available in other surrounding hotels. 6. Bed came with electric blanket, which didn't work properly. It provided very less heating, and wasn't enough to keep it warm.
      7. No lights were switched on in balcony, staircase and common areas. No wonder hotel was completely empty.

      We had very bad experience with this hotel from OYO and we are really disappointed during our stay. Hence as part of resolution, I would request for refund to my source account.

        I’ve tried to book a room at oyo 76908 hotel South Avenue on 5 march. The amount of 2303 was deducted from my credit card however I did not receive any confirmation email or notification from oyo regarding the booking. Seems like the app was down. Once I went to the hotel the receptionist said that there was no booking ID generated so I had to book directly from the hotel. Now when I contacted the oyo helpline the are saying that I wont receive the refund as I’ve stayed at the hotel. I had to pay twice for the room and I need my money back which was deducted without my concern.

          I have booked room vide I.d F3CH2576 and paid money. While visiting personally I have not found rooms as per pictures shown on site and not as per description.. not clean and sanitized. Messy and unhygienic.. customer has not resolved issue.

            During booking of hotel room, when clicked on directions for the hotel on the Oyo app itself, it showed a location just 800m away from my current location. Based on which I confirmed booking.
            Later when clicked on directions for hotel on the Oyo app again, it was showing a different location which was 5km away and inconvenient for me. Hence, had to cancel which was the only option available. I tried booking the same hotel again. Still the same issue, because of which I lost Rs.1196 (699+497).
            When I reached out to the customer support on the Oyo app, they are denying refund.

              I booked an oyo with booking id FD767603

              I saw the ratings and pictures of Hotel New Era Residency. Upon booking confirmation I paid the amount online. Soon after that I received a call from hotel manager saying that building is being renovated so you need to come to a different building with a different name. Naturally I had not seen that before. On oyo app also this was not indicated in any manner. So basically I paid for something I saw online, but was given accommodation somewhere else.

              It was late night and I had no where to go so I complied thinking that Oyo standards would apply. However the new place was jot up to the mark. No staff wearing masks. No temperature checking also. Anyways it wasn't crowded so I moved on. Room I was allotted was sub standard. Cupboard filled with garbage. Bedsheet had stains and cigarette burn marks. When I asked the staff there to change it they said spare is not available. Due to it being late I had no other choice but to spend the night.

              I felt like I've been cheated. I got accommodation in a place I didn't see on app while booking and paid for a room which I didn't know anything of before hand.

              I checked out before 11am and contacted oyo customer support straight away. After a lengthy conversation they agreed to refund 20% of the amount. I was insisting for 50% but they did not agree for various reasons.
              Next they told me that they will refund in oyo wallet only. And due to certain "policies" they cannot send refund tk original mode of payment. Basically they want me to use the refund amount on their platform only. The money I paid out of my pocket I cannot use freely where I like. After repeated protests, they told me issue will be escalated and a senior customer executive will callback within 4 hours. That call never came.

              I contacted them proactively myself. They had no idea of issue history so I had to take the pain of explaining it again. They repeated the same policies excuses. And repeatedly tried convincing me to accept the refund in oyo wallet which I refused.

              Till now no satisfactory response has been received. No senior executive has called me back to take this further. Instead customer support is adamant on closing the issue without providing required resolution.

                  We had booked a room vai Oyo and the hotel person told us couples not allowed instead of we were married couples...so we cancelled our booking...and Oyo customer care told us to do another booking for refund...so we did and now they r not providing us refund for the same

                    I have paid Rs.1301 through phonepay to oyo app on 05.03.2022 to book hotel in Lucknow. My money got deducted but booking not confirmed by oyo app. On calling customer care of oyo they have booked hotel on pay to hotel basis and i have again paid in cash and money paid through is still not refunded.

                        I have paid Rs.2106 through Google pay to oyo app on 5/03/2022 to book hotel in Mumbai. My money got deducted but booking not confirmed by oyo app. On calling customer care there asking for Booking ID, as booking is not confirmed I didn't get booking ID.

                            I did a booking to the below hotel on Feb 18th due to a family wedding at Agra

                            I did the booking through OYO based on the ratings, review, images of the room and amenities available in Oyo website. To my surprise the hotel was entirely different than how it was listed in the website. This hotel is not for a family stay rather for young people to book rooms without any ID as such and spread antisocial activities. I was embarassed to witness such shock as I had to go to such hotel with my mom, wife, brothers and sisters in law. I was in a mental shock due to this incident. The hotel reception was run by a 14 year old kid. The room ceiling were broken and there were absolutely no amenities listed in the website for this hotel available in actual. I strongly condemn Oyo for endorsing such false information, trapping customers and denying refunds. Please look into this matter and take necessary action against Oyo and the hotel authorities as this tampers our countries reputation and culture

                                Even after * times requesting they are sending only payment receipts. Neither the hotel nor Oyo is sending me Gst Invoice.
                                As per GST act and rules, no GST registered entity can deny for providing gstin tax invoice specifying customer gstin no. Oyo is only providing me with the payment receipt which is of no use to me since the same cannot be used for taking GST credit. While checking out the hotel associated with Oyo said the Oyo rooms will provide the invoice. It is a complete case of violation of GST law.
                                I need the original hard copy of tax Invoice copy so that credit can be availed by my organization.

                                    We sent an E-mail regarding terminating the contract with OYO rooms 3 Months back.

                                    We were supposed to get the NOC in a month

                                    None of the associate respond to my messages and they never pick up the calls. De listing hasn't been done either so far and it's been more than 3 months by now.

                                    Hello,

                                    How come the complaint registered is marked as resolved? My complaint is not addressed and not received any update regarding terminating the property from oyo rooms. I request you to update the current status on the progress of this complaint immediately.

                                      Stayed from 5th February 2022 to 12 February 2022.
                                      Vacated on 12th February 2022. Confirmation of vacating mail sent on 14th Feb 2022.

                                      28th Feb 2022 - Send reminder for security deposit refund

                                      No reply on refund query. Got a mail for paying rent for March on 2 march 2022.

                                      Please expedite the refund as we had vacated on 12th Feb and confirmed the same via mail on 14th Feb(Remided on 28th Feb)
