While making booking, my money is deducted twice and there is some technical glitch with oyo. I want refund for money deducted twice. I tried contacting oyo but the helpline number is not getting redirected to any customer care associate and chat support is only with the virtual assistant.

    I would like to inform you that I booked OYO home 87558 Ri Lum homestay around 16.00hrs on dated 18.03.22 by OYO customer care service and my booking reference number is - YEYP2369. After confirmation of booking, I call to homestay manager/owner for proper address but he told me he had fever, so he can't take any booking. I informed to customer care immediately to cancel the booking and full refund.
    Please take the necessary action to refund the total amount Rs.7236.00 as soon as possible.

      I have done the payment through OYO and payment was successful. The amount was deducted and now we cannot see the booking and I did not recieve any booking ID also .
      I have my UPI reference ID from which yhe booking was done .

        I booked an oyo and later cancelled since date needed to be modified. When I contacted Oyo, they mentioned refund can be done, I have been told to make a new booking and and I can get refund for once I checkout the new hotel. When I contacted again I got the reply that I did not connect within 48 hours and refund can not be claimed

        I want to ask oyo why this was not mentioned earlier that after 48 hours you can not get your refund and why you were waiting to get it escalated again from a customer, u could have just processed it directly in when the ticket was raised

        Now the customer care has asked to make a new booking again, to get the refund for older booking.

          I made a booking at Townhouse 631, RK Ashram on 25th March around 5:40 pm (Booking Id: DCFF1644) through the OYO app. I prepaid the amount and it immediately got deducted from my bank account (attached screenshot below). We reached the destination around 6:30 p.m. and asked the hotel 'Hari piorko'(hotel name mentioned on oyo app and in the images) staff about the booking to which they said they have no contract with Oyo. We were shocked because the oyo page for the hotel we reached mentioned the same address and even the images were of this hotel, which we then understood was a fraud. Townhouse 631 has uploaded wrong details of some other better hotel to lure customers. But still we somehow reached the right hotel (which is completely different from the one mentioned and shown on oyo app) and they denied us check in saying they haven't received any booking. We stayed there for about an hour, trying to call oyo customer support. Everytime, the oyo executive answered, they would say they are connecting us with the right authorities and then would make us wait for 10-15 minutes before hanging up. This happened about 7 times. One executive even said that it's our fault that we did the booking via the official app and not through their customer support staff, which is INSANE. Then we left from there. We kept trying to reach Oyo support and explained them our problem and requested for refund. This is such a scam. One, the hotel was a fraud, two, OYO customer service and support is a sham as well. They do not care about their customer's experience. And three, it is OYO's fault as well that they uploaded hotel's name, address and pictures without verifying. OYO is a third party, we agree but at the same time, if customers use Oyo because of this brand's name, it is their responsibility to uphold its integrity. Highly disappointed!! Never had a worse experience with any other app like this so far! I just need OYO to refund my money spent i.e. 979 INR at the very EARLIEST!!! And I want this refund back into my bank account and no other scam of oyo wallet or oyo money.

          I recieved calls as well as email from the company. However, the calls got disconnected within 3 seconds, so I wouldn't consider that helpful. Recieved email from [email protected] but those seemed to be automated. I then called on OYO customer support and provided this escalation ticket ID and asked them to forward the call to help desk and got the issue resolved from there. I wouldn't suggest being too dependent on call or email from them. Go ahead and call the support team yourself

          I have not received any refund yet and no communication after my bank details were taken. Also, if I made the booking on 25th March, how could I have received the refund on 18th March? Please refund my amount positively within next one week.
          I have booked the hotel and i prepaid INR 799 on 18th March but today is April 3 still my money haven't received from the Oyo but it says already transferred to your account and it's a very bad experience, can you refund my amount at the earliest.

            Hi Team,

            My booking Id EXKH4522 via OYO at O 19145 Martin's Inn at Arnala, Virar west

            I enquired about the bookings and room availability on 25th and OYO comfirmed that the rooms are available and also said they're giving me an offer...

            I did the booking via OYO on 26th for 26th checkin and 27th checkout
            I reached the hotel at 11:50pm at night and the hotel was Sold out for a wedding
            I had no rooms whatsoever so late night and i had to stay on road half time while I could check other hotels
            The hotel was at remote location with no transport

            I called OYO customer service and their services was soooo poor that I will never imagine to book with OYO ever again
            They kept on transferring me from person to person and the advisors were not helpful... The moment I objected they disconnected the call with no resolution. I was given a refund that too upon requesting the refund.
            They denied giving me a compensation for all the inconvenience caused that too so late night especially being a girl is very unsafe

            Very disappointed with OYO
            Worst company and customer service ever

                I am rushi. I booked a room before a week ago for my birthday celebration and I confirmed about my stay with the property manager and today at the day of check-in after week he is talking like sorry sir we are out of the room now there is leakage problem and also oyo customer support system is telling me this stay online I will assist in u like 3 times with taking my hour on my birthday tell me what I have to do now this is happening with me for 3 rd time. Is this is how oyo treat their loyal customers? I don't think I am going to use oyo again thanks for doing nothing.

                      Hello sir, I booked two ac rooms on 22nd march with the prepaid method, and after I reached the hotel the manager told me that no ac room is available here, so I don't want to stay in that non AC rooms instead of paid ac rooms rent, so the manager told me that u can cancel the booking and will get refunded. so I cancel the booking, but here's I have been charged the full amount for cancelation. please, tell me why I have been charged and what is my fault?

                          I have booked oyo room on 26-02-22 and there's a offer on OYO application to give Rs500 cash back if we do the payment through paytmpostpaid and i applied code - OYOPAYTMPP . waited for more than 20 days till now no amount is given by OYO and their all customer care executive have cut my call after saying we are checking it no response is given from their site . You take money so quick but why at time of giving cash back no satisfactory answer is given by your executives.

                            Today i went to stay at oyo
                            And i got my periods there.. N the sheet and blanket got stain a bit
                            Which can be removed from normal wash also but they charged us for tht 2000rs which we have to pay because of the embarrassment
                            I asked them tht i will pay for dry cleaning but they denied and ask for the payment of tht

                              Had to search for the place late night with family and couldn't find. Neither Oyo nor the property picked the call to resolve the property location identification issue at night.

                                A booking was made by mistakenly, we did not need the room, so i called support and asked for a refund. But they simply denied it, they said i will not be refunded.
                                I did not take the service nor did i visited the property but still they denied refund.

                                  I made a transaction for booking a hotel via oyo rooms on 1st March 2022 with the transaction amount of Rs.5742(from google pay). I cancelled the booking on the same
                                  date (1st March) due to the fact the hotel charged me extra money and caused some trouble with the room. After talking with the executives, a refund of full amount has been iniated. However, it has been more that 14 working days since oyo is
                                  telling me that they have initiated the refund and
                                  that i will receive the amount within 14 working
                                  days.
                                  I called the oyo customer care and they simply cut the call or put me on hold for hours after telling me they will connect me with the service team. Nothing has been resolved.

                                    Dear Team,

                                    My family members are traveling from Indore (M.P.) to Mussoorie (U.P.). They had booked a hotel in Mussoorie and entire room rentals are been paid in advance. They were to check in today (i.e. March 18, 2022) and as an intimation to hotelier they called to update about their arrival time. However, they got shocked after hotelier informed them that there booking has been cancelled by hotelier and the same has been updated to OYO Rooms. Oyo Rooms has never communicated about cancellation to us. After, hearing the news, we reached out to OYO, however, solutions provided by executive are useless which is reflected from his suggestion of initiating full refund and asking us to book the hotel again. There has been huge difference in the rentals between the price at which we had booked earlier vs current rentals. This is such a disgraceful experience with OYO. Had we been intimated atleast three days before, we could have figured out the alternatives. My family members are new to the city and because of this last minute cancellation by OYO/ Hotelier, it would really be difficult for them to find accomodation. Further, Mussoorie being tourist spot, current rentals have increased significantly since the time we had booked. There would be huge loss to us in the form of differential amount, hence we request team for early solution on the issue. Requesting OYO to just stand to its committment.

If the last time for check in was 7:00 PM, why was the booking done. Does OYO want to earn money through such unethical and disgusting shameful ways. Me and my family were on the roads from 10 PM to midnight. I want refund as well as compensation for the mental Harassment that me and my family went through

                                        To whomsoever it may concern,

                                        I had booked Townhouse OAK Hotel Hillview, Aurangabad for check in on 11/03/2022 to 12/03/2022 a week prior to my guest's arrival. However, it was found that the said hotel does not even exist in Aurangabad and my guests had to physically search for hotels to stay at the last moment. As your details mentioned one hotel named JP international, my guests contacted the said hotel and were informed that they had rejected the booking immediately after the booking was made through the app. However, even after booking the hotel a week prior, my guests or I was not at all intimated about non availability or non existence of the said hotel. To make it worse, your customer care support is constantly out of reach and your in-app chat help is also of no use. The calls to the customer care were are getting disconnected all the time, hence I could not even get hold of your tech support assistant to assist me in finding a solution to the said problems. I fail to understand why do you even have a customer care when at the time of need, you miserably fail to provide assistance. At evening, my guests have received your email that the said booking is again shifted to Spot On 64570 Hotel Deepali Lodging which is of no use at all as my guests have already checked in some other hotel. It has left us wondering as to what's the use of booking the hotel a week prior if this is what we are getting in the end? Please note that my guests had to physically search for hotels and have not checked into to the hotel booked by me. This is the worst experience that I and my guests had to face, and hence I want a complete refund of my booking amount of Rs.1318/- immediately irrespective of what your policies state about the same, as well as compensation for the unnecessary hassles and hardships that my guests had to face at the last moment. Kindly look into this matter urgently and revert back to me on my email or at my contact number i.e.[protected]. I request you to abstain from contacting my guests again and cause more trouble for them. If you fail to look into this matter urgently, I will be compelled to make a complaint to higher authority for which you will be responsible solely. Please take note of this.
