I had a taken a loan of 59000/-, from Paysense of which I had agreed to pay an EMI of 3900/- based on my then current status and income stream. I was able to make payments initially, however due to a sudden accident I was on bed rest for 6 Months. I lost my job during this time and insurance did not pay my dues fully. I also ended up exhausting my savings during this time, to top my daughter was also born during this time. Due to my health issues, I couldn’t get back to regular work in my field that I had been doing since 11 years, however I did try paying my EMI intermittently.
The second shock came when lockdown was put across India. The company I was working for at that time shut down and I was again jobless for the entire year. My friends and family took care of me and family during this time. As soon as the lockdown was eased, I took a job in a small company as I still couldn’t get a job in my industry as there were not many openings. I am currently getting less than half of the salary that I use to get when I took the loan; therefore I am unable to pay my EMI.
I did offer the recovery people to reduce my EMI to 1500/- a month from 3900/- as I simply couldn’t afford it, however instead of co-operating with my request which was for the best interest, the agents kept on harassing me and my wife and relatives and family friends, even abusing them, verbally and telling everybody I have taken loan and he is not paying it so we are going to keep calling.
The agents literally act and talk like goons and black mail my relatives and harass them continuously, even when I told them that my dad is an BP patient and requested them not to call them, they instead abused me and blackmailed me and said pay or else we are going to call them again.
I am in distress and depressed right now and I am completely broken financially and emotionally, please take some immediate action against this people otherwise I will be forced to take an action and Paysense and India’s Consumer complaint system will be blamed for it.
