Dear Sir/Madam,
I purchase Samsung mobile phone on 31.08.2012 at Mee Mobile store in Visahkapatnam( AP, India). I found phone touch pad is not working and same issue was escalated issue to Samsung service center but they said it was a Germany county phone so Warranty is not valid. The Samsung service team notice that shop keeper which you bought is cheated you by sold invalid ( Overseas) mobile phone to you. I met shop keeper and informed the same issue but they said that they are not responsible for this issue. I have valid Purchase bill and valid Warranty card also. I was so surprised when i notice the issue. Please suggest me how to solve this issue.

Samsung Mobile — cheated in warranty

I NIRAJ SINGH, MY MOBILE NO IS [protected]. I HAVE PURCHASED SAMSUNG MOBILE HANDSET S3500 ON 31ST AUG 2009 IN EVENING FROM ALFA DADI HOUSE, IRLA SOCIETY, VILE PARLE (W). MUMBAI 400056. AFTER 4 TO 5 DAYS I STARTED FACING PROBLEMS WITH THIS HANDSET. IT GETS HANG SOMETIMES; & GETS SWITCHOFF AUTOMATICALLY WHILE TYPING MESSAGES & DOES NOT SHOW PROPER NETWORK. I HAVE GONE TO ALFA ON 10TH SEPT 2009 WITH THIS PROBLEMS, THEY TOLD THAT U BRING A LETTER FROM THEM THEN ONLY WE WILL BE ABLE TO CHANGE THIS HANDSET. THEY HAVE PROVIDED ME THE CUSTOMER CARE NO AND ADDRESS OF SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTRE. I HAVE CALLED SAMSUNG CUSTOMER CARE ON 10TH SEPT 09 THEY PROVIDED ME THE COMPLAINT NO AS BP NO. [protected]. AFTER GIVING THEM COMPLAIN I RECEIVED A CALL AFTER 2 HOURS FROM CHENNAI. THEY TOLD TO VISIT SERVICE CENTRE. I VISITED SERVICE CENTRE ON 14TH SEPT 2009.

IN SAMSUNG CUSTOMER CARE I FOUND ONE PERSON WHO WAS SPEAKING IN A VERY RUDE MANNER TO EVERY CUSTOMERS. THERE WAS NO QUEUE ANY ONE IS GOING DIRECTLY IN FRONT AFTER COMING BEHIND. IT WAS JUST LIKE FISH MARKET. EVERY ONE WAS SHOUTING TO REPRESENTATIVE, INSTEAD OF TAKING POLITELY SAMSUNG REPRESENTATIVE WAS YELLING ON CUSTOMERS ONLY. I HAVE EXPLAINED PERSON REGARDING THE PROBLEMS WHICH I M FACING. WHEN I HAVE TAKEN A NEW HANDSET THE PROBLEM SHOULD NOT OCCUR IN 10 DAYS. IF IT’S SO THEN CHANGE THIS HANDSET OR GIVE ME ANOTHER MOBILE OF SAMSUNG COMPANY OF HIGHER RANGE I WILL PAY THE BALANCE AMOUNT. REPRESENTATIVE REFUSED TO DO SO. HE TOLD THAT WE WILL DO THE FORMATING THEN U SEE HOW ITS WORKING. I TOLD THAT I DON’T HAVE TIME TO COME AGAIN IF PROBLEM OCCURS. IF PROBLEM OCCURS I WILL THROW YOUR CELL. SAMSUNG REPRESENTATIVE GAVE BACK ANSWER SAYING THAT YOU THROW IT, IT’S YOUR WISH. HE TOLD THAT I WILL NOT CHANGE THIS HANDSET NEITHER GIVE YOU HIGHER PRICE MODLES. HE TOLD THAT IF IT HAPPENS IN A WEEKS TIME THAN ONLY COMPANY CHANGES THE HANDSET. I HAVE TOLD THIS TO GIVE ME THIS IN WRITING. HE HAS GIVEN ME THAT ON LETTER HEAD & ITS WORK ORDER NO IS WA[protected].

AFTER COMING BACK I WAS EXPETING ANY SENIOR PERSON OF THAT BRANCH WILL LOOK THAT COMPLAINT & WILL GET BACK TO ME BUT NOBODY TURNED UP. I AGAIN CALLED CUSTOMER CARE NO ON 30308282. EXPLAINED THE WHOLE STORY BUT HE WAS ALSO HELPLESS. HE PROVIDED ME BRANCH MANAGER NAME & NO AS MR DEV RAJAN [protected]. I ASKED FOR REGIONAL/ NATIONAL MANAGER NAME & NO BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK PEOPLE WHERE NOT HAVING THAT INFORMATIONS ALSO. I THINK THAT CALLS ARE RECORDED CALLS U CAN CHECK IT OUT. I CALLED MR DEV RAJAN HIS CELL WAS CONTINOUSLY SWITCHED OFF. I HAVE MESSAGED HIM PLS CALL. BUT TILL TODAY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY CALL FROM MR DEV RAJAN NOT ANY CONCERN PERSON AFTER SEEING WORK ORDER
I FEEL I HAVE BEEN CHEATED BY SAMSUNG INDIA.
I HAVE MAILED THIS ABOVE CONTENT TO SAMSUNG, BUT STILL NO REPLY FROM THERE SIDE.
i have same type of problem .

    I bought a Samsung phone on 17/7/2012 from Samsung shop at Phoenix High Street Mumbai. Purchase experience was excellent. After about 7 days Contacts would open slowly. Called showroom said remove battery and restart. Did so problem vanished. I also found that Battery was draining out very fast.

    Visited Service Centre in Lower Parel on 1/8/. Said Hardware problem we shall repair. I asked for a free replacement. They said call Customer Care. Spoke with Atul first who said that all hardware problems must be reported within 4 days of purchase. I told him this was neither mentioned in the invoice nor told to me at the Samsung shop. Next spoke to supervisor Manil who told me that when I buy any Samsung product must visit the service centre to know terms n conditions. I said this is absurd no company has ever told me this.
    He asked me to speak with Service Centre Manager which I did on 3/8/ who said Mother Board needs to be replaced.

    This is clearly a defective piece, want a free replacement but Samsung wants to repair. I have written to General Manager Samsung Customer Service and await his reply. After paying 23000/ to get a defective piece it really pains. Hope Samsung will take care of my complaint, a happy regular user of other Samsung products.

      I bought samsung galaxy s2 mobile phone on 25/07/2012 from samsung authorized dealer at colaba at 26,500rs., from the 5th day i am facing lot of problems with this cell phone like its gets hanged, i cant even make a call immediately, display goes blank, battery dips down within 2 3 hours,every few hours phone automatically gets so much heated that its difficult to hold also. i am tryin to approach samsung on day 5th i went to service center they told wil repair the phone i said its a new brand phone i dint downloaded any application which wil damage the phone or software neither the phone has any physical damage on it.i put a mail on samsung website 1st they dint replied to my mail which i put on 2nd of this month then i waited for 2 days then again i put a mail on 4th they responded on 5th and they mailed me too saying you have to go to service center, i went their to service center firstly that person attending at desk was so rude. he said madam dont make such a big issue as it is not, my money is getting wasted and that person said this thing, then they said that your phone has to be opened and repaired, i want to know that my phone is in stalk condition and within few days they want to open my new brand phone.i wasted my money trusting on samsung as they provide defective phones to customers, i am struggling from so many days asking for replacement as its factory defect then to this samsung people are troubling me.they not giving replacement also.i am very upset with this big investment and this fake products they supplied to me.

        Sir, I had purchased Samsung laptop Model No.NP102S-B01IN on 28.7.2012 from yr dealer M/s efuture UNIQUE INFOWAYS (P) LTD,60 Skylark Building,Nehru Place,New Delhi 110019 for Rs.16,665/- vide Invoice No.MW0007643, dtd 28.7.2012 - Sales Person Mr. Bhaskar.
        Complaint is : At the time of purchase, saie executive mis-guided me and without telling me that in-built Mike is not there, he sold the laptop to me. At home, when I started using Skype, my voice was not reaching to my children abroad. My child told me that it seems there is no in-built Mike is my laptop that is why no voice is coming. The purpose of purchase has gone to Zero.
        After 2-3 days when I went to showroom and approached the same executive, he told me that he was also not aware that in-built Mike is not there , sorry. You use external mike and again pay for that. OR you sold this laptop to somebody outside and purchase another fresh laptop from me. I cannot help.
        Sir, I told him that as you have sold the laptop by misguiding me, it would be better for you to replace it with another laptop with inbuilt mike (Model No.NP305U1A-AOJ) and for that I am ready to pay the balance amount.
        On my reqeust he totally blindly refused to replace my laptop.
        Sir, I am a raw hand user with no technical knowledge, would like to request you to pl instruct the concerned for my help urgently and order them for immediate replacement. For higher version I am ready to pay balance charges, if any.
        I hope you will take favourable action so that I can talk with my children abroad smoothly.

                  Bought a Samsung 32 inch LCD in October 2007 for Rs 53,000 from Shahs, Velachery, Chennai. The TV was used regularly (1 to 2 hours a day). Suddenly, last month the colors got distorted and then I started getting a white screen. Called up the service center and the service guy came and cooly said "Sir, the display is gone..We can change it and it will only cost you 23K)...... I was shocked to hear that...
                  I asked him why can't he replace only the faulty component and he said that the display has completely failed and it has to be changed and no single component can be fixed. He accepted it’s quite common in Samsung LCD TV's... I asked him if it’s a total display failure and if it’s a common issue then doesn't it mean that Samsung has sold a defective product.................... He said he can’t do anything and that how it works.
                  Now by reading through several forums, I can see that display failure is a common issue with Samsung LCD's. I believe the internet representation is only a small percentage of the overall defective rate...... Never expected this from Samsung (all other products in my house Fridge, 2AC's, Microwave are all Samsung)
                  Samsung being a global brand can’t let this happen and has to replace these defective LCD's if it wants to maintain its image... Otherwise issues like this can spread like wildfire through net these days and it will do sever damage to its credibility ..............
                  I see that this forum is monitored by Samsung regularly and expecting some response from the Samsung team.

                    sir i have a color TV of samsung. The TV has a problem that it is restart(on/off) automaticaly, i had lodge a complaint in july 2012 about this in samsung customer care having complaint no [protected], after that an engineer attend my complaint on 07/08/2012 and my TV is working Ok and claim a amount of Rs225/-, But now a days the problem is repeated TV has automaticaly restart after few minutes. so it is request that to resolve my problem in a better way instead temprorary.

                      I have Purcahsed a new samsung refrigirator RT41LSPN from delhi.

                      Since its installation it did not worked.

                      I called up your toll free call centre in Ahemdabad.

                      --July24,2012:

                      They registered my complaint (Complaint no:[protected]) and next day an engeneer(Mr. Rakesh) from your Dwarka service centre came and told that Gas is to be refilled and another eng. will come and serve the purpose.

                      -July25,2012

                      Then next day after repeated calls no one turned up.

                      -July26,2012
                      Then next Mr praveen(+91-[protected]) came and told that Mr. Rakesh is not an engeneer and he has misguided us and that the compressor of the ref. is Faulty.

                      He asked us for the bill.We facilitated the bill to him the next day.

                      -July29,2012--Mr lalchand from dwarka collected the xerox of bill from us and told the compressor will be changed the next day.

                      -Then i again registerd my complaint with your customer support(complaint no:[protected]).

                      -Since then we have nearly 20 times pleaded to Mr.BALWINDER MALIK (+91-[protected]) about our request.He is not guiding us properly and postponding our request on the pretext of non-avalability of a new compressor.

                      -I totally fail to understand how the company serves its customers.

                      -Have We done a mistake by buying a SAMSUNG product...?

                      This would definitely make us think twice before buying any of Samsung Product.

                      KINDLY GUIDE ME TO A SOLUTION.

                        Sir, I am Mohit Maulikbhai Bhavsar.I purchased new Samsung GT-S6102 mobile from Kalol.(N.G.) on 02/06/2012.Within 6-7 days it was switch of automaticly and restarted,so i send it to repair at samsung service center on 05/07/2012.They told me that there was a software problem so they installed new version of mobile and give me to use,but after some time problem contnue and my mobile was switched offf no power up.second time I send it to repair service center on 27/07/2012.They checked it and inform me that was a hardware-main PCB problem take itafter two days.After two days I take it.On 01/08/2012 my mobile restarted automaticly continue.so I recorded video about it.

                        I am not satisfy samsung mobile product and them service.Them slogan is 'Desgin for human.'

                          I'm totally concerned over here with the level of service that an organization like Samsung offers for its refrigerators. Here is the sequence of events after I complained of my fridge not working on 28th July 2012 to their Bangalore service center -

                          1) Person named Yaseen came from the service center on 28th July - checked and said the fault was with the thermostat. Replaced it and said he would come back on Mon 30th July to collect payment as he didn’t have the bill book.
                          2) Fridge worked till Sun and conked out again - I complained again and this time on 30th a second technician Itefaq came to check. He tells me that the first tech who came was probably a fake person and has caused more problems. He tells me that the fault is with the compressor and that it would cost me Rs.8000 to fix it. He then went a step further saying that he can do it for me on his own personal count for Rs.5000 but will not give any bill. I sent him away and complained again with the service center.
                          3) Next comes a third tech named Jeelani - he says that what the first tech had done was correct and that there was just a loose wire which he fixed. He then charged me Rs.680 for the thermostat and gave me receipt no 1133 dated 1st Aug. 2012.
                          4) Today 2nd Aug 2012 and my fridge has conked out again.

                          Is this the type of people Samsung contracts with to provide support to their customers. I have been a big Samsung fan - have a television, 2 ACs, 1 mobile phone all Samsung but after this type of disgusting service I will now think twice before buying another Samsung product.

                            dear sir,
                            i have brought samsung lcd tv la40d550 on 1st april 2012. the tv is having warranty period of 1 year. it has now stopped working and not taking input either entered through buttons/remote. i contacted shop owner from which i took my tv(friends electronics in thane. contact no:[protected] who is not responding to my calls and i have also registered complaint on samsung customer care(complaint no[protected].person from samsung customer care attended the complaint,checked the tv and told that this model is from dubai and will be not repaired by them... i am in deep trouble.please help.....

                            samsung lcd t.v — t.v. Not working

                            I bought lcd samsung t.v. On 20/9/09. Once i complained that I have to receive the wall mount which I never received so far. Now that my t.v is not workkng and I contacted the llcal shop from shere it was bought. They never bothered to take my complaint. Ihave no option but to go to consumer court. Please help me in this regard.

                              Hi,

                              I purchased Samsung GT 9100G (S2) in march checking the configuration of 1GB RAM with gingerbread as OS. I upgraded my phone to latest ICS release by Samsung and found that now my available RAM has been reduced from 834MB to mere 687MB.

                              Later I found that new releases of S2 with official ICS still has above 800MB of RAM.

                              I checked with Samsung service center and without understand the issue they simply restored my phone to factory settings and re-installed the OS and advised that it would work like this only. Not happy with this I contacted Samsung customer service and talked to someone who tried to understand my issues and escalated to someone (I think his name was Neeraj) who advised that we have offered you with ICS and now if it is working like this it would be the same.

                              I have tried check all the Samsung news and press releases and they have nowhere mentioned that the available RAM would be decreased with this official update to ICS which is wrong. Samsung is not providing what people are paying for.

                              Can someone help with this handset replacement as Samsung has denied it straight away.

                              This issue exist with all the Galaxy devuces.. Wher the Note and SII I9100 looses 200mb RAM. SII I9100 G looses close to 400mb. If its a technical requirement, samsung should have informed the device owners before the updates.

                              Need a solution or a fix or an additional update which would restore the eaten up RAM.

                                I had purchased as Samsung Fully Automatic Washing Machine which got some problem with the body part. I have logged a complaint regarding this on 14 July'12 with the reference number [protected] which was attended by an engineer who noted down the exact Model Number and other details and committed to return back with the new Body part and will replace against some cost. After that date i have called up the customer care 4 times (on 19Jul, 21Jul, 28 Jul.) but got only the assurance that some body will call me and will visit me to resolve the issue. But to my surprise, the commitment from all the representatives of such a big brand product company got failed every time. In this tenure there was no alternate or standby machine was provided to me and i have to get my clothes washed from outside. You tell me who will compensate my expenses which i am paying to the outside people for washing my clothes.

                                Now, when i called again to your customer care today after almost 18 days of my first complaint, i again got the reply that somebody will call me and will get back to me with the resolution. On my insist to provide me a resolution then and there they replied me that the body part of the machine is not available in the company and bluntly said they cannot to resolve it.

                                I am also facing the issue on my Samsung Refrigerator which met some defect every year and i have to spent money on it to get it repaired and now not working since last 1 year which is leading to loose my trust from the Samsung Products completely. I was planning to get the issue of my fridge also after resolution of my washing machine problem but now i think it will be useless to deal with such a irresponsible behavior of your company.

                                However, i am failed to understand that if the company is manufacturing a product and is unable to provide the after sales service, none of the company could survive with such a pathetic service level.

                                I used to be a brand builder among my known for Samsung. I always choose Samsung as a preferred product in all streams. But after such a bad experience I will never buy a Samsung Product and will never recommend the product to anybody.

                                I am writing this to you expecting a proper resolution to my problem and hope my brand loyalty would remain with Samsung only after your resolution.

                                  This is a complaint on behalf of Dr. P.K. Tandon (consumer) by his son-in-law Mr. Shubha Brota Raha
                                  1. Split air Conditioner Model: AS18EFAXTL, Bio Sleep, was purchased by my Father-in-law Dr. P. K Tandon on 9th August 2009 from Samsung Plaza, 46A/1 Elgin Road, Civil Lines, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India for INR 25727/- (Total Bill Amt: INR 31500 including taxes and stabilizer)
                                  2. In the summers of 2010 the AC stopped working. Authorised service centre – Care and Care Services Pvt. Ltd was called for repair. Free servicing done. Problem identified as ‘Gas Leakage’.
                                  3. On 22nd April 2011, the AC again stopped functioning. Care and Care was contacted for repair. Problem identified as ‘Gas Leakage’ again. Dr. P.K.Tandon was charged INR 2192/- for repair as free servicing period was over.
                                  4. 5th May 2011, AC not working again. Services of Care and Care was sought again and they said ‘Kepestaiz’ needs to be replaced and charged INR 650/-
                                  5. 2nd June 2011, gas leaked again. Care and Care took indoor unit to service centre and gave back on 13th July 2011.
                                  6. On 22nd August 2011, AC was not functioning again. Complaint lodged BP no. [protected]. Care and Care executives took both the indoor and outdoor unit to service centre and returned in mid-October 2011 and said that the indoor unit has been replaced. Charged Dr. P.K.Tandon a sum of INR 1500/- for replacement of some pipe.
                                  7. On June 2012, gas leaked once again. Complaint lodged – No. [protected] on 6th July 2012.
                                  Dr. P.K. Tandon, frustrated enough by now, asked for replacement of the defective unit with a new one or refund of money to which he has been told that only 40% of the original sum paid can be returned.

                                  Dr. P.K. Tandon seeks refund of entire sum paid or replacement of the defective piece with a new unit from Samsung India for one last time. Exactly 3 days from this complaint, he has decided to take the matter to consumer court of India. Please treat this e-mail as a prior notice to Samsung India.

                                    i went to samsung service centre and submitted the mobile model no. GT-S8500, for problem in outgoing voice and key. they said sir while opening the hanset the LCD may break and if you are ready to take the risk only then we will tell you the estimate.
                                    I asked for the LCD price they mentioned Rs.4037. that means before checking the problem they are asking for cost for change of LCD then they will tell the final estimate to repair the problem.
                                    I took my hanset back form there and mentioned the whole thing on samsung website email, I received call from them they said to me to visit again and give the handset to service centre but this time I went to bigger service centre of samsung and to my surprise they say that mice in the handset is integral part of motherboard and only mice cannot be changed the new motherboard is to be replaced only then outgoing voice problem will be solved and also they said LCD is also required to be changed becuase otherwise the problem will not be solved completely that means small thing cannot be changed independently the complete cost of motherboard is required so that mice works and on top of it another expense of LCD screen is required because old LCD will not work with New motherboard. and for mice replacement toal expense is Rs. 10500/-.
                                    I want my handset to work fine but this harassment is pathetic.
