I was facing issues with my Tata Sky as it wasn't working properly. I was assigned a technician and he came up to my house to check the issue.
He suggested that we should go for HD box, but said the box wasn't available with him at the moment. We waited for a day and he didn't respond. I need to call him up again and follow up on the status. Today, at 7:30 PM he said, he will come at my place and get the box replaced.
Now, I realized my TV is not full HD and thus cancelled the HD box that we ordered earlier. Now, he denied to come at my place and this is so sudden. 15 minutes back he agreed to come but denied as I cancelled the request to change the box.
Is this the kind of service you guys provide? I really wanted to know, I can switch to another TV DTH provider.

The technician was Mr Sanjay and his number is [protected]. Also, I received a call from some so called Mr. Rahul who made ridiculous excuses on why can't the technician come. His number is [protected].

    Dear tata sky my name is aman bagwan with tata sky subscriber id [protected] whose name you haved wrongly saved as ashish bhagwan on your site please clear my problem
    I too had earlier shared my subscriber id in this complaint forum and Tata Sky's support team did get in touch with me. I am sure they will try getting in touch with you too. Alternatively, you can try writing to them at [protected]@tatasky.com or call their helpline number at [protected]. The best part is it is available 24X7. I am sure they will assist you and update your name in their records.

      Since last 8-10 days 32 members are not receiving Tata Sky signal
      This mail is to complaint about pathetic service provided by Tata sky customer care and technician.

      Background:
      You have provided common dish for all the users.
      Which has some issue and its showing “Your setop box is not receiving signal”
      This is happening to all 32 members and happening since last 8-10 days.
      Multiple complaints are raised by different members. (Search with above numbers)
      But you people are so pathetic that you don’t care to resolve issue.


      Every time when any of the flat member raise complaint its getting closed without solving issue.
      Your technician is not capable to understand issue.
      Your service center executives simply apologize and register another complaint and they don’t even care the issue is resolved or not.

      Sorry to inform you but your company service is pathetic, your customer care centers are pathetic, Your model to handle issues where common dish are provided in big flat is pathetic.

      We know that if single person opt-out/stop your service it will not hamper your business
      BUT
      To make you aware issue, We (32 members + some members from B, C, D wing) has planned to bulk Opt-out / Stop your service.
      And we also want refund as you people are charging for half year/one year subscription.

      If this issue wont get resolve by next Saturday you will get at least 35 opt out request from our society
      And also you have to refund money otherwise we can route to consumer forum (We have already used that option with our builder.)

        My customer ID is [protected] and my register mobile no is [protected]. On dated 21.02.17 I received a call from tata sky for a 75℅ cash back offer on a bumper pack. Recharge amount is 1400/-. When today 22.02.17 I recharge my account with 1400/- amount, I call to tata sky customer care for update my account with cash back offer than tata sky officer say me you not have any type of offer in your account. So, please solve this matter from tata sky which is doing great fraud with customer. It's very bad marketing practice.

          I have taken tatasky connection on feb 16 and my id is : [protected]. Opted for grand sports package on feb 16 for one year and it got expired on feb 17. We changed our option and opted for sports dhamaka package and paid for 6 months on 8th feb 17. After paying the amount online, immediately gave missed call to one of the tatasky numbers. The customer care executive contacted me after 2 days and informed me about the connection was reniewed for old grand sports package instead of newly opted sports dhamaka package. I explained him saying that that is not my option. From that time onwards, i am receiving multiple calls from customer care informing me that the grand sports package was renewed and it is on monthly basis which is very high. Every time i keep explaining them saying that i opted for sports dhamaka package and till now it is not changed and they are demanding me to pay for the extra amount, having connection for grand sports package. I lost my patience in this regard. As i opted for sports dhamaka package for 6 months, i expect the same to be continued. The old package (Grand sports package) was renewed without my knowledge, even though i opted and paid for sports dhamaka package not ready to pay any extra amount, as the old package was renewed with out my knowledge. I request you to settle this issue asap, as every day i am receiving calls from customer care saying that my balance is diminishing very fast.

            I was calling customer care for tecnition problem at 11:20 PM then that people abuse me ..
            You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will arrange for a callback and assist you accordingly. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter, take corrective measures & address your issue.

              I request your kind attention to the subject with the reference cited above, that I have to state as following:-
              01. I have remitted Rs.1800/- (Rupees One thousand and Eight hundred only) towards the new subscription of the Tata Sky HD Connection vide reference 1 cited above. But, your concern was failed to connect the dish properly and failed in proper wiring. And the same was brought to your good concern on phone for several times, but it was no use. Finally, you have deputed your executive to connect the dish and wiring properly in the last week. Also, your good concern has promised that the service is providing is entirely free of cost and no more charges will be charged upon me.
              02. And, the behavior of your executive who came to our doorstep for the second time was very rude and shouting at our apartment because of no reason. On the spot, again we had reached you on your phone and conveyed the same. Finally, the connection was done properly. Whereas we called to recharge, again your executive was helpless to guide us, and asked us to talk to our dealer in this regard. Kindly explain us, who is our dealer, we are not yet seen him, except, simply asked you for a new connection through online. Also, I am getting so many offers from so many other service providers in this regard. And, today, your executive has spoken to me that the relocation charges are due to be payable for Rs.300/-. How, you people are charging relocation charges in the same premises, and also it was completely wrong of your company as not proper wiring.
              03. So, I request your good concern that to kindly cancel the service connection and refund the entire amount along with interest and penal damages to my account with proper information or otherwise do explain me within the stipulated period of time, why don’t I file a suit against you before the court of law to recover for the amounts along with interest and penal damages for which I have suffered for both mentally and physically for the act of your kind executives.

                I have a house outside mumbai (In village kashid, taluka murud, district raigad) where i had installed the tata sky tv service. Since i do not visit that house at all, i have not renewed the service, which expired in january 2017.

                I have received over 30 calls from your representatives and on 15 occasions i have very patiently explained to the caller the reason that i would not like to continue with the subscription.

                Every time i receive a call, it is from a new person and they demand an explanation all over again. A simple “not interested” does not work.
                There seems to be no coordination among the persons who are making these calls and a complete and total lack of interest on the part of your company in what your clients are saying. You obviously have no system in place to understand your clients concerns or to update information given to your representatives.

                Please note i am not interested in continuing with tata sky and will not be installing it in future too.

                Hoping that my records will be updated and i will not receive any further calls from your end.

                  Tata sky technician visited my place on sat 18th of feb to resolve issue related to unable to see channels, so to resolve that issue he replaced the card, but unable to resolve it and left the place by saying it will be resolved after 3 hours.
                  Later on i figured out that they have charged me for card which was not of any use they just do that to increase the bill even till now my problem is same unable to watch channels.

                        As tatasky people have replaced my set top box on 30th dec and which was a refurbished one later on after two days the hard disc was coming sound so i have called the customer care and the service guy told that they told that they have to replace the box and the service guy took the box and came back after three weeks and told that the service for you will start from today and to day when i called up the customer care today as my set top box is not working they are saying that the warranty is over which was suppose to me a months time which has started on dec 30th but my new device was replaced again in the first week of jan and the new device has come to me in the month of Jan.

                            Our family is using Tata Sky for more than 10 years and we thought that Tata Sky is customer oriented and care about its customers.
                            But i feel very sad after seeing the way your serviceman is cheated us and the response of Tata Sky after that. The serviceman changed our LNB two days before with a new one having 2 pins but told the Tata Sky that he has fitted a 4 pin LNB and Tata Sky charged us with the price of 4 pin LNB.
                            After complaining the Tata Sky customer care give a very disappointing response by saying that we will come and change it with a 4 pin LNB. I mean we don't require any 4 pin LNB .We have only two setup box working on that Tata Sky so why would you forcefully giving a 4 pin LNB.
                            If a trusted company like Tata Sky will do such cheap things to earn money then it will be very disappointing.

                                I made a UPI payment ref:[protected] on 22-Jan-2017 to [protected]@icici for Rs.460 . But the amount is not created to my tatasky account with subscribe id:[protected]. I talked to tatasky customer care but they denied that the they was no amount credited for this subscriber id.
                                I even registered complaint to the bank from which I did the transaction. The Bank gave me confirmation that the transaction was done successfully from their end.
                                Requesting to look into the matter and help me get the same amount credit to my subscriber id.

                                I have made UPI payment today ie, on 7 July 2019 for Rs 650 to Tata Sky @hdfcbank in favor of my subscriber ID [protected]. I got SMS from HDFC bank that the amount has been deducted. But the credit is not reflected in my Tata Sky Subscriber ID [protected].
                                I request that the matter may please be resolved and my money is credited to Tata Sky immediately. I further request Tata Sky that the UPI payment facility be disabled in their APP so that customers are NOT put to avoidable hardships. I wish that Tata Sky takes proper care of its customers and their money.

                                    Its been more than a week since my account is deactivated and TataSky Customer Care agents are keep on telling me that there is an offer attached to my subscription ID but they are not able to provide the details of the offer hence I am not able renew my subscription. They have even disconnected my calls in the middle of the conversation. No professionalism at all!!! Also at times they have promised me that they will call me back but they never called. This is one of the WORST service from TataSky. I am too working in a Service Industry and we never treat our customers like what I am experiencing from TataSky. The Tatasky management team should look into these matters and train the team appropriately.

                                    Basically I have contacted your Customer Care center 3 times since last one week as if Tatasky is my customer but besides unprofessionalism they also do not know how to solve your problems. You may track all the calls between myself and your team (Tata Sky - Subscription ID: [protected]) since last one week and you will realize the quality of service?!!!

                                      Please find money deduction message screen shot.

                                      On 12th Feb - 2017, Tata Sky had deduct my money from my Tata Sky account without any acknowledgement.

                                      My scenario :

                                      On 10th Feb 2017 I had faced Tata Sky connection problem so I called tata sky help center. They provided us technician and he resolved the issue and told us issue is from tata sky not from my side on 11th Feb 2017. As per tata sky policy, if issues is from our side then they have rights to cut technician charges. I called again regarding my money deduction and Tata sky Representative said that we have given acknowledgement about money deduction during call conversion on 10th Feb 2017. So I asked them to provide us call recording of our call discussion but they denied. So how could I be sure about the same.

                                      Phone no. they called me is +918067029100 After complaining about this issue here, Tata sky representative called me on 15th Feb 2017 in evening and talked about this issue. On phone call they told me they will check call recording again and get back to me. On 16th Feb 2017, they called again told about their policy and all. After long discussion about issue and understand my concern and issue they credited my account with 200 Rs. and close issue. All thanks to Consumer forum. It's a great service and all companies take it seriously when we raise issue in consumer forum.

                                      Hi, we do not charge for the service visit as long as the set-top box is in warrant. We did inform you regarding the charges while scheduling the service visit. Let us know if we can help you with anything else.

                                      After complaining about this issue here, Tata sky representative called me talked about this issue. And after discussion Tata sky credited 200 Rs. in my Tata sky account.
