This is a demand notice to the urban company.

In the last 29 days of the problem that occured, the AC machine was damaged by the company professional deliberately, and company professionals charged me money towards the spare parts which were faulty and of cheap quality,
all the issues are told to the company and yet company is just not doing anything about it .

I plea to the Urban Company to tell me a final decision that whether they will help me fix all the damages caused by their professionals on my machine and return me my money back which was charged fraudulently in the name of spare parts and installation by the professional.

Just tell me a yes or a no and do not make me run and chase you guys back on emails and on complaints forum . Every second day i get a new person who calls me from your company, i give all the details clearly and then i am asked to wait for sometime and someone will get back to me and resolve the problem, and then no body gets back . The same has been happening from 16th sept 2021. All my efforts after explaining so much on the call and waiting as per told to me, goes for a waste.

My machine is damaged from 29 days .
But i never got a call who informs me that whether the company is going to fix the problems or no.

Well i guess there is a huge trail of people to surpass my case to the company..
From 16th september 2021 until today, around 24 emails and several submit request for call backs have been made by me to your company, and today marks 31 days of this issue where my machine is kept damaged and matter is unresolved.

Urban Company just doesn’t work on serving as per commitments. Hoax hopes have been given to me.
As of now last person I spoke to was on 30th septemeber 2021, from the social media team - named- Abhishek Kumar . The said person promised to call me back in a minute and today its the 6th day from that commitment and I’m just waiting for a resolution.

its been already 31 days, and your company has neither insured me and given me a correct resolution towards the damages done by the urban clap professional.
I wil wait for two more days post which i will be bound to buy a New Air conditioner.. I will mail you the invoice of the new air conditioner by the speed post and send the damaged machine via courier to your company address..

      Whenever I book any service from Urban Company such as Hair cut/ waxing etc., Urban company takes booking and takes payment but even after regular follow-ups they do not send any person for service. After 3 days they tell they wouldn't be able to send person. This is a personal loss to us as we have to wait for the service. In case o[censored]rgency purpose is not met many times.

      Today also same has happened and I am feeling harassed a lot.

      Details of booking are mentioned in snapshot.

      Please help and it is my concern that i[censored]rban Company is not able to provide service at my location then why they take bookings?
      Many of the times service person had come earlier but not always. Maximum times they provide just excuses.

        I had booked a repair request for the washing machine which was first attended and serviced on 17th July, after that the problem resurfaced and a second technician was sent to resolve the issue.
        Issue got resolved on 18th Aug and washing machine was working fine till now.
        But now the issue has resurfaced and I registered the complaint on 26th Oct'21, after which I received the call instantly and customer care assured me that they will arrange a visit from senior technician basis my availability.

        But since than I am constantly trying to get in touch with urban company through "help" option under "my bookings" but no response since the last 7 days.

        Need a full refund i[censored]rban company is not able to even get in touch with me to attend and resolve it.

          Slipshod service and unresolved problems despite assurances

          I have brought painting services with urban clap on 3rd Sept 21, Mr. Kuldeep singh chauhan came to me and gave me the planning of whole painting. I have 2 bhk flat and it's already had asian royal and he committed to maintain the quality and he will take care all things.

          He said i'll take care the whole planning and execution, so you don't worry and mentioned everything and quoted me via the app. i paid the services initially with advance amount and painter started working.. after one day he said please pay the rest of the amount so painter can proceed the work without showing the material and he said you should have to believe me i am taking care.

          Unfortunately, after two days when i visited and i shocked when i see the quality of work, painters are doing painting without putty finish or primer work, i discussed with Mr. kuldeep and surendra and both told me sir you don't worry we will take care and then they shouted to their painters to correct the work. After a day i again checked and they still working on same style and then i escalated again to mr. kuldeep and he told me i am busy on another visit but i'll see.

          There is no results after discussion and finally painter has been changed after a day and another painters started working on the site. They did some good job which i personally feel they will achieve the work i continuously watching even my home is far from that flat it is approx. 18 kms. from my residence. yesterday they messaged me that our work has been finished and you can check it. I told mr. kuldeep to check the work first and validate so i can review and advise. but he told me i am unavailable due to week holiday. i told him i am going there and update you.

          Finally i checked and there are lot of glitches everywhere in the home, i discussed and told mr. surendra to sort it out before asking one time password. he shouting me that i need otp i don't want further discussion after completed the work, even there is no cleaning and finishing touch and colours are different in some of the areas. i told him and he told me to finish the work today anyhow.

          Yesterday (29/09) again checked the flat and called again to mr. kuldeep and he denied that i am busy on another meeting sir, i am unable to come now, please see and advise surendra for further work.
          I told mr. surendra that still there are lot of problems like :

          1. Painting is unfinished on some areas
          2. Balcony have wrong colours
          3. Cleaning is not done,
          4. Modular kitchen doors are broken
          5. Italian marble have lot of colours spread so everywhere spotted and showing blots on marble.
          6. Almira mica has been broken which is big one.

          This was really a bad idea to choose urban clap in my point of view and i'll never recommend to anyone as there is a bad experience, i have new flat and it's massy now.

            Washing machine repair

            In my washing maichine water is not stoping from out let while machine is stilling water from in let.

            A service person came to fix the issue and said it the board issue and took the board for service saying that he will come tomorrow. Next day he fixed the board and clean the out let drum and charged 3600+300 for service fee but when we started the machin we notice that water is still leaking from out let. We complain to him...

            I had requested for a service of a Samsung Front Load Washing Machine. Professional visited and diagnosed that the PCB had failed. He bought a PCB to our place and found that it was still not working. He then said that the Motor had failed and Promoted a used Motor for Rs 2000/- or a new Motors for Rs 4800/-. I realized that the Motor had 10 Years of Warranty and called upon Samsung service centre guy. He inspected our Machine and diagnosed that the PCB needed replacement. We insisted that the PCB was just replaced yesterday. He checked the PCB and quoted that it was a faulty one and an old one too. When he replaced it with a new PCB, the wachine started working finely. I was duped of Rs 3000/- by the UC Professional. I want my money back

              My request for a home painter getting reschedule every day when I raise complain regarding professionals does not arrive at a scheduled time.
              Call Center commit the different time but again the same issue.

              UC should stop calling their executives as Professional as they are not at all professional.
              I have been calling for the last 3 days and the funny part is Call center asking for my convenient time to align professionals, Ideally, they should tell us to give us an appointment with their professional.

              I guess I expected much from UC but this is a disaster.

                I booked washing machine repair on 25th, the technician came and told that PCB needs repair he took the PCB for repair and on 26th he came back. He then told that sensor has issue. He went away and from then he is not picking the call.

                It has been 4 days but there is no reply from Urban clap customer care

                  Hello there,

                  this is to point out to the ‘Urban company team/heads ‘ and to ‘The Consumer Complaints Forum,
                  related to the service generated on[protected] at around 5 pm for the AC installation of my Daikin unit 1.5 ton inverter AC - Professional name- Mr. Mohd Ali Hussain ..

                  The AC was supposed to be installed and started, but the professional informed that there is some issue due to which the machine was not starting. He then tried to connect the indoor machine with the outdoor and then tried to power on the device, and as soon as he switched on the power button, my machine had a short circuit failure with a bursting sound with few sparks on my indoor. Immediately then after, the professional left the outdoor unit of the AC open and claimed that he has done his job, and he cannot take care of my product any further and I should call in for the “EXPERT PROFESSIONAL “ as he cannot start my AC, and his job was just to install the AC but not start it and he left the next minute leaving my machine damaged . The cost of installing the AC Rs. 1499 and the spare part cost for 6ft pipe and other spares Rs 1850 + taxes was also the charges he had informed me and the total of Rs . 4047 - was paid to him soon after the installation was completed after the short circuit happened without switching on and powering on the machine.

                  The next day I had requested for another professional from the app again, uninformed that what has happened to my machine since i am not electronics savvy, requesting for a better professional who would start my machine.
                  Pankaj Roy was assigned then on the[protected]
                  and he confirmed to me post checkup that there is a short circuit in the indoor machine, the pipe installed by Mr. Mohd Ali Hussain is old and joined up with the old one and is faulty, also the outer unit gas was leaked on purpose and doubted that there might be an issue with my outdoor unit circuits too since they were all connected together for powering on when this short circuit happened.
                  Pankaj also visited twice after the 6th to take the damaged spare part from my indoor -
                  one indoor circuit and indoor motor for repairs and checkups and told me that the company is going to take care of the entire damages done in the unit. Just because of this reason I had let Mr Pankaj take my spare parts with him.

                  I want to bring it to your notice that
                  From the 4th of september 2021 i have been troubled by
                  A. ) not being able to use my AC
                  B. ) not being able to get a clear call from Urban Company stating to me what has happened and what is the due course to be followed for my machine.

                  C. ) keeping me in loop as to what Mr Pankaj Roy will be doing next for fixing the problem .

                  D.) not being able to shift to my room and living in the guest room ..

                  My AC is for Rs. 53000 /- 16 months old and
                  I have been using this unit peacefully until on the 4th september your professional has damaged my entire machine.

                  I am unclear as to what has happened, what damages have been done, how i have been fooled by your fellow partner for spare part costs for the AC and putting some old goofed up material and gas leakage and I got zero emails, zero calls from any authority explaining me . All i have received is just calls from people stating to me that my case will be handled by a senior, or, a senior will call and give me a resolution. I have just been writing on app every time, raising a call back request everytime and explaining the issue to different personnel every time from the beginning .
                  I dont trust your professionals no matter how great they are with their jobs.

                  My AC is just 16 months old and was running fine and in working condition and now due to your professionals mistake i m out of my comfort zone over 24 days. I have shifted to a new house and my guests are coming in every now and then and they are seeing that my AC is kept damaged and its not being fixed which makes me feel quite embarrassed since its my master bedrooms AC which is used mostly and which is without the AC .

                  the damages incurred by the company on my machine from 24 days are unknown to me as to what amount will the repair come up to, but inquiring from the Brand Daikin, they say it would roughly take 15-20 thousand rupees approx or maybe more to fix all the damages in the machine

                  Urban Company is just providing me the insurance of Rs. 10000 /- even after acknowledging the fact that their professionals have damaged the ac deliberately and kept my machines outdoor unit uncovered from 24 days, secondly professional gave a commitment to me that all damages will be taken care by the company
                  and due to his commitment only i allowed him to take my machines spare parts with him, and the damages are more than the insurance amount,
                  but the company executive from Delhi named - Chestha Bhatia -gave a call and just said to me on the 25th September that the company spoke to the professionals and know everything but could do nothing more but were just offering me this bit of Rs.10000 and were casual about the damages and commitments and frauds done by their professionals.

                  My plead to the Consumer Complaints Forum, and the Urban Company is only this much, that I just want my machine in a working condition, i do not want any other thing.. I dont want to pay anything extra from my pocket towards this damage because i have already made the payment to the company in the beginning for the service, around Rs. 4047 towards installation fee and spare part costs which were faulty and i was cheated there too by the professionals assigned by Urban Company .

                  My machine is kept open, damaged and resolved from 24 days and I have made calls to chestha bhatia, she did not answer . I have written various emails but no support was given me there . I need the person who can understand my issue and the fraud that has happened with me here.
                  If i wanted 10, 000 rupees as insurance from the company, and it would have made my machine fine, i would have taken it back on the 8th september and fixed it when on the call i was offered that amount towards the damages.
                  I need my issue to be understood and my ac to be started and given back to me .

                  seeking support from 24 days now .

                    I have spoken to 8 different people in 25 days from Urban Company and explained all of them the same issue, namely -

                    Professionals who handled/ damaged my machine in person -

                    But nothing happened as such that would really be helpful for solving my trouble and fixing my machine.

                    All your company associate /personnel who were in touch with me on numerous phone calls and around 15 emails have been requested, explained, and told the same thing from the beginning till the end, over and again about what the two professionals have done with my machine.

                    on day 25 (today) I have addressed the same issue to the last person, Vanshika Taneja over the phone at 11.05 am in the morning, over a 21 minute call, the whole issue was explained again to her as well and got a confirmation from her side that my issue would be looked into and in 24 hours someone will get back with a resolution..

                    Still hoping for someone to understand my trouble and issues here .. I am harassed already with my machine being damaged by the two professionals, also harassed in order to explain the same issue to different people again and again.

                    Request the Urban Company to stop troubling me further, provide me a solution, and understanding the depth of the situation that the professionals have led me into, other than passing my case to new people .

                    Keeping in mind - i was told very casually to look into the app and search what your policy says that your company will only give Rs.10000 as an insurance .
                    Let me tel you, the service was not done in the first place. I was taken on for a ride by your company professional, since i have zero knowledge about electronics and spare parts of an Air Conditioner, and whatever your professional told to me I trusted him blindly and paid him money for the faulty spare parts installed by him. so where was the service generated ?

                    There are different people calling me, giving me different commitments and fulfilling none.. Yet making me suffer the loss of my air conditioner machine, i am neither able to fix the one damaged by the Urban Company professionals nor able to buy a new one and stuck and waiting for the company to sort this problem

                      I rescheduled my booking at an available slot. But beautician could not be assigned till my slot timings & no one informed me. When i asked customer care to call me, they said they are trying to assign. I kept on waiting till late in the evening but they failed to assign any beautician. My question is how could i possibly reschedule my booking at a particular time i[censored] have no beautician available for that time.why were those slots visible to me if no beautician is free at that time? This has happened with me twice. I am highly disappointed. I would never ever book again on UC. It is such a mental harassment of me

                        On 18 September 2021, At 1.15 pm, Mr Harish Bisht was hired from Urban Company, Before the job itself I had word with Disha one of the Tele callers from UC, I had requested her to send me a professional hairdresser for my daughter's haircut. She assured me the one coming is a very talented and experienced hairdresser.
                        After that, I consulted with the hairdresser, showed the image of style and he told me he will start the job, I even asked him if he cannot then he can opt-out. He told me that he is experienced and has no worries.
                        He cut my daughters hair in such a ridiculous manner, that the hair looked so bad.
                        I complained, he just ran away. I complained to UC, They decided to give me another hairdresser to rectify, But the person who came said he cannot rectify the hair in any style just a boy cut will be the option.
                        We were devasted by the end result.
                        I have complained many times but no resolution has been provided by Urban Clap/ Company.
                        I want justice for this injustice meted at my daughter's hair. For a girl child's hair is important, She looks like a boy and she cries all the time.

                          We booked intense bathroom cleaning service for 6 bathrooms from urban company. 2 ladies had Come not professional looking at all. They had cleaned 3 bathrooms and when I repeatedly kept telling them it is not clean at all they started screaming at us.. She threw her phone on the floor and started misbehaving and threatening us. This is not acceptable at all from urban company such astrotious behaviour is not acceptable at all. I want you all to take an action immediately. She was lying on top of that my mother was going to hit her and she was making a scene outside our house and denied to leave the house. I am attaching few pictures which they claim they have cleaned the bathroom.

                            I had booked a salon at home service and there were sooo many cockroaches in her bag which are all over my place now. I asked to back up and leave without taking any service and I had to ask downstairs person to deliver me HIT so that it won't spread.
                            I have few photos of how big cockroaches are and this is not done.
                            The beautician asks me not to add it under her reviews... why?
                            What kind of background check you guess do before sending someone at our place.
                            And as a "token of apology" you are ready to give me 1000 urban clap points 👏 which is 100 rupees

                              As reqeusted by UC Team Again I Booked a full home cleaning service (essential package) for Rs 4048 for a 2 bed room apartment in Bangalore through online mobile App on 24 Sept 2021.
                              The technician has visited the house started work but i see many places they did not touch even and clean the many places.
                              Look at sample pics uploaded here and there are many more places still with same dirt.

                              I noticed the same clothes used for both rooms and kitchen and in many places, nowhere using the brushes to clean in required places. No proper safety measure like not wearing a proper mask. No one has the uniform and proper ID cards to identify. I believe the vendor has given the subcontract to local folks who do regular work without safety measures. The machines they carried were not cleaned well and looked years old.

                              I had to sanitize my home again and especially Kitchen and Bathrooms.

                              i have raised complaint many times and sent email on uber help email but no responce, no call, no actions.

                              The urban clap is Such a unreliable and disgusting and they dont have the customer care number and proper email id to assist user directly. disgusting service.

                              I dont know what they make with this money by making fraud earning from the customer.

                                I had taken an AMC for my water purifier and subsequently cancelled on 21st Aug as the inclusions were not clearly communicated. It has been more than 1 month but the company is yet to refund 2/3 Rs. 1732 of the AMC amount already paid.

                                  I wanted to explain my service experience from Urban Company which I took.
                                  In my house I was having a drainage issue with Kitchen Sink and Pipe, for which I requested a plumber from Urban Company and selected "Waste Pipe Leakage" and it was showing me cost around INR 200 and I understand spare part cost is excluded, so I booked.
                                  When a plumber came he checked and said I have selected the wrong option and this service will be considered in "Wash Basin Blockage Removal" so he selected that option too, somehow I agreed because I wanted to get that solved and if I still refused, I would have to pay.
                                  Then to purchase spare parts (Pipe and Strainer) the plumber asked for INR 300 and went outside.
                                  He came and changed those parts in the wash basin and then my total paid amount was INR 746 (INR 300 for parts and INR 446 UC bill).
                                  Now today in my disappointment, the same problem came in my wash basin, for which I bought from the market and used drainage cleaner powder in the sink.
                                  After some time, what I saw is, that the changed pipe melted and all the water came out on the kitchen floor.
                                  If any customer is trusting a company or service provider and if he got such type of service where he has to pay an extra amount and still he did not get good quality, then what should he do and why should he trust such a company.
                                  I want my money back along with the compensation.

                                    Team came to my house without any proper equipment to clean sofa, bed, carpet, curtains, ceiling fans, floor cleaning etc. We have requested for 'Deep Cleaning Services', for which I have paid Rs. 5648. Since it is deep cleaning, they charge additional Rs 1200 approx. [As per me, this extra money is a waste]
                                    As per thier site, the following are the list
                                    Bathroom Cleaning,
                                    Kitchen Cleaning
                                    Sofa and Carpet cleaning
                                    Essential home cleaning
                                    Cockroach, ant & general pest control.
                                    When asked the team, we were said, their contractor company has not provided any equipment like ladder, brush, for cleaning sofa, carpet, curtains etc nor any pest control medicine for kitchen etc. When we spoke thier contractor, he just told the team to clean what ever tools they have.
                                    We really wanted to clean Sofa, bed, etc. during this but did not go well.
                                    I request for a refund of at least my extra money ~ Rs 1200 from the total to be returned as the basic purpose of cleaning sofa, bed, carpet [which are more dust accumulating ones]...
