We engaged Urban Company on August 12th, for kitchen cleaning services, including cleaning the refrigerator and microwave oven. We are very disappointed with the outcome of the cleaning of the microwave oven. Wherein the service person - Taj Uddin, has left permanent scratch marks on the top of the microwave as a result of his incompetence in cleaning.
To provide further details on what happened, when your service person started cleaning on the top of the microwave by using a scrubber and making hard and strong strokes, my wife noticed this and asked him if this is the correct way to clean the surface. At that point he slowed down, but the damage was already done. We do not know whether the appropriate cleaning liquid was used, or if heavy corrosive liquid such as an acid was used, but it has resulted in permanent damage to the top of our microwave (images enclosed below).
We are very distraught by the damage done to our microwave, and we want this to be properly addressed and we expect to be suitably compensated for damages incurred due to the negligence of your service person, by being compensated for the full cost of a replacement microwave of same brand and model number.
Lastly, this person Taj Uddin who was the only person engaged for this cleaning task, brought along another person to 'help' him complete his task in a quicker manner. While we did not mind the second person being there, we did not expect another person for this job and were caught a bit surprised with two persons for this job. Looking at the damage done, it makes us think if your service person was in a hurry to complete his job, and hence brought in another person unannounced.
