dated 11.06.12 my mobile balance is 90 rs. in day time. i am not call any no. but in evening my mobile balance is 0.0 rs.when i call customer care he says that u are using internet.but realy i am not using internet. after some time approx 6.0 PM i again recharge my mobile balance 81.0 full talk. After some time my mobile balance again reduce and approx 75.0 rs . i again call customer and plz deactivate all service if any activate. he says that no service activated. after some hour my balance 68.0 rs. my balance continuously detect by vodafone and wrongly charge. PLZ help me and refund my money.

    Vodafone — needs puk no

    hai this is swaroop, my no is [protected] from karnataka, my cell is asking for puk no, i am using basic handset i.e(nokia 1100), i tried calling from an operator no to[protected] but that always says the route is busy, so please help me to get puk no or atleast let me know how to get it ( other than visitng local vodafone office)

      My name is Jitendra and I have a vodafone connection in prepaid no. is [protected]. Today the company have deducted my balance as Rs. 30 for the matri services and not refunding the money I have just talked to the customer care lot of times but there is no response to refund my money the company executives are saying that there is no possibility of refund of money in the company. Any of the care executive is giving satisfactory answer to me. Before deduction of my account balance I just talked to the customer care and take the info about the net recharge after this conversation the company have deducted my account and not refunding my balance to me. On of them told that You may Port ur mobile number in any company but company will not refund you any type of amount. Please help me to refund my account balance.

      Vodafone — Reversal of My amount in my mobile

      My Name is Dilip Kumar Giri -[protected] is my vodafone contact No. From last 4 months vodafone people are cut my rs.30 in every month for some songs something like that ( I don't know what exactly ).

      Regarding this I spoke to the call center they are not responding properly, even they disconnect the call also. They told me that "on next time it will not happened we deactivate the services.

      Really I am surprise its continuously happening with me. I don't know if they taken rs.30 from one person. then........

      So kindly look the matter and do the needful as soon as possible

        Hello sir
        This is to bring to your concern on how I faced losses because of carelessness of codafone.
        My number is +91 - [protected]. I raised a request for migrating my connection from prepaid to postpaid around 24th may 2012. I already faced a lot of problem in connecting to vodafone for this migration, It actually took 1.5 months), nobody was there to support me.
        After all validations my connection was upgraded to postpaid and my prepaid SIM was blocked.
        So I put the prepaid SIM provided by your representative(SIM no.[protected] but it did not work for me.
        I called the customer care but, as usual, vodafone customer care people are not properly trained , and They were saying it will take three days for migration!
        After, when I requested to raise the issue to senior team, they told me it takes 4 hours for migration.

        Even after 4 hours when I put this SIM back in, It didn't work, after which when I called, they said that the sim which I have is not the correct one
        and as per process, a new SIM would be couriered to me in 24 hrs.

        The SIM reached my home in 48 hours!!! And even the new SIM did not work for me.
        When I called they first told me to call using another postpaid number, which I don't have, but somehow,
        when I called, they told me the new SIM which I received(SIM no[protected] is also not correctly mapped with my number.
        and they told me that I would get another sim in 24 hours for which I am not sure that I would get new SIM in time.

        So for total 4 days, I was unable to access the mobile services on my phone , I had to face severe losses in my business because of that.

        The worst part is that no one properly supported me on the issue. I really felt myself helpless.

        I requested compensation for service fault from their side, but they denied to provide me with waiver.

        My consumer rights are being violated, request you to check on this issue.

            This is to inform you all that on 21/03/2012 I have deposited Rs. 250 at Vodafone Mini Store, Near Metro Hospital, Sector 12, Noida to convert my prepaid mobile no. +91-[protected] into a postpaid connection but even after completing all the required formalities and proving the verification check it is not converted into postpaid connection till date. I've visited the same store more that 100 times but everytime the answer of the store manager Mr. Ankit Gupta was same that it is in process. After getting tired of visiting the store on daily basis I requested the store manager Mr. Ankit Gupta for refunding my money but he said he can't refund my money by cash and I'll get a cheque directly from company within 15 days, but till date I haven't got any intimation or cheque from the company.

            After all these matter, I've dropped a mail to the Appeallate Authority, Nodal Officer and Customer Care of Vodafone, but even after mailing them several times I got no response from them also.

            Now, I just want justice and compensation from Vodafone for all the inconvinience and mental stress from which I am suffering since last 3 months.

            Can anyone here help me in letting me know the procedure to file a legal suit against the company in the court of law?

            Now its enough, I've been waiting since 21st March 2012 and I haven't got any response from your side. I have also visited your Vodafone Mini Store, Sector 12, Noida, Uttar Pradesh around 100 times but the attitude of your officers is very bad, they people doesn't even care to answer to the queries of customers. They people are just sitting to grab money from customers by making fool out of them and after taking money they don't want to entertain the customer's query.             This is to inform you all that I have a Vodafone 3G dongle in my name. My Vodafone number is [protected] which is a postpaid connection. For which I had given a ECS (Cancelled cheque), I had deactivated it a month ago, but they deducted the bill amount (Monthly rental) of Rs.832 for which I have a zero usage. And now whenever I go to the Vodafone store (Which is in Kalidasa road, Mysore) they simply keep on telling WE HAVE RAISED A REFUND REQUEST YOU WILL GET THE STATUS IN NEXT 5 DAYS, about which I am fed up listening. I've visited the same store more that 10 times but every time the answer of the store manager Ms. Shilpa was same. Again I have received the bill for this month dated 12/8/2012.

            I want justice from Vodafone. Can anyone here help me in letting me know the procedure to file a legal suit against the company in the court of law?

              I am a vodafone user from the past 4 years now and i recently shifted to Hyderabad. It is over 4 days that i walked into a Vodafone Store at Madhapur, Hitech City(June, 6th morning). Along with 3 friends, we bought our SIMS and the person at the desk told us that we'd go through our verification in a day and the number would be activated within a day at the max henceforth. So he asked for a total time of 48hours. One o[censored]s got our SIM activated within 36 hours without verification while the others got their verification process done the next day. But surprisingly my verification has not been done even today and there is no sign of activation of my number even on the 5th day. I have visited your Madhapur Vodafone store 3-4 times already and every time they just make promise me that my number would be activated before midnight but shockingly Nothing has happened till now! My phone number to be activated is [protected],Sim number H[protected] My present vodafone active number is [protected](delhi).

              I spoke to your customer care executive today morning and she said that my number got activated last night and that i should check my handset for errors. I change the handset and there was no sign of activation yet. I call up the Customer Care again and this time someone else was online and this person tells me that my number is not active yet! What is going on in your own customer care centres?? I have been fooled around from the past 3 days that my number would be activated in the next four hours and there has been no communication from your store end. Every time i have walked in to your stores and called up your customer care executives but never the same has been done from your end while it is in your policy that if the number is not active within 48 hours, in case of such issues you will be notified regarding the error.

              At this point, I would also like to bring in a case of another friend who got the Vodafone postpaid sim from WIPRO office and his sim got activated the same Night! His number is [protected] and i have given the same documents as everyone has. May i know what is causing all this nonsense with my number from the past 5 days? Why am i suffering from your system errors of Caf numbers? I want my number to be activated As soon as possible or i suggest vodafone to pay penalty for the extra roaming amount of 3 days that i have had to pay due to their errors!

              Here, i'd also like to point at the lack o[censored]pdated knowledge of your executives at the Vodafone store, Madhpaur. On the first visit, at the service desk we asked for a CUG plan for Wipro that suits our STD calling demand and he offered us a SINGLE plan of Rs 249. I asked him if the plan of Rs 199 also had STD minutes(as i had heard from my friends that it also had STD minutes) he out-rightly refused and said the only plan having STD + Local mins is Rs 249 plan with 800 calling mins free. After a day, we discover that the plan for 199 actually has STD minutes and everyone at your Vodafone Store, Madhapur was rather surprised being updated as they had no knowledge about it. After confirming on 2-3 phone calls he came to a conclusion that Rs 199 plan does have STD mins.
              In the past 4 years of vodafone i have never faced such a deplorable services and indeed it has indented the trust of your loyal customer.

                I am a Vodafone (post paid) customer at Assam.

                I got a call from [protected] some days back. I could not take up the call as I was traveling at that time. I called back after some time. A lady answered the call and in fluent HINDI. She told that I need to resubmit my Identity proof and address proof etc, else my number will be deactivated. Then she told that she is forwarding my call to her senior. After sometime the call was disconnected. Total call duration was little less than 2 minutes.

                After the bill was generated, this was treated as International call @Rs100/=per minute and Rs200 was charged. I spoke to Vodafone care twice. I was told that this is a racket and Vodafone can’t do anything about it. I was also told that since I called back to this number, hence I will have to pay the bill.
                In this regard I have certain questions to ask the Vodafone team:-
                a) If they know that this kind of racket is on, then what action they have taken as service provider to safeguard their customer? What action they have taken to aware their customer that these kind of calls should not be answered by the customers? I was also told that Vodafone is not responsible for any calls incoming/outgoing from its network.
                b) What is the guarantee that this is not actually an international call and it is all cooked up by the company itself? Please remember that the lady who answered the call was speaking very nice HINDI and chances are high that the called number was routed as international call, but was a local call actually.
                c) Can a service provider just forgo its responsibility towards customer awareness so easily like this?

                  This was the mail sent to the customer service , as the sim purchased from the same location in hublihas not been activated since 02 jun2012. I suspect that the staff casulness is the reason to this attitude, as the staff promised it would be activated in 24 hours time.

                  I am left in big difficiultly as I am unable to reach the internet.

                    Dear Sirs / Madam,

                    i took Vodafone Post Paid connection in the month of March 2012. and once connection activated, i requested for activate Do Not Disturb (D N D) and asked for Internet service not required. but in the month of May 2012 i received my 2nd bill stating as Mobile Internet Charges for Rs.167/-. i requested them to wave off those charges , but they denied it and i paid the amount and requested not to charge like this. i send several requests through mail to Vodafone corporate relation manager, but no use and they asked me to pay. but in future they are not going to charge like this. but in this month bill (June'2012) it again showing as Mobile connect charges Rs.34/-. when i call customer care they are telling that GPRS is deactivated , but their meter reading showing as i used Internet on my mobile. for your information, i have Internet connection in my home and office as well. so, i no need o[censored]sing Internet on my mobile and never used it. how could this problem get solved . i need your valuable suggestions on this. how can i get back my amount i paid Rs.167/- from Vodafone. please let me know how could i proceed on this issue?

                      I am Maj Sidhu. For the last five odd years I have been using mobile services from Vodafone. Recently I got transferred to Pune and bought a SIM card from Vodafone authorised store in Kothrud in pune. They took rs 25/- for the SIM and Rs 300/- for recharging my phone. It has been now five days that neither my phone has been registered nor the outgoing calls have started. The amt taken for recharging the SIM has also not been updated. They keep giving me stories and from my busy office schedu.le travelling a distance of ten kms I have gone to their office where they made me wait for 45 mins. Still no progress on the issue. I would therefore like to lodge an official complaint as a serving Army Offr for a sad and disappointing treatment.

                      I have lost my mobile ([protected]) with my Sim. I am lodge a compalint of Lost Sim and taken a New Sim from Vodafone Sector-18,Noida on 16/02/2008. But till it has not actived after 5 days and services of that particular Vodafore Shop is below the mark.                       I had a vodafone number [protected]. A customer care guy told me there is good post paid offer. So, I had opted for that offer. That guy came to my home and got the documents along with the activation fee of rupees 250. He gave me the new SIM and told me that SIM will be activated in 48 hours. Its almost two weeks since I produced the documents. But still no response. Whenever I call him he is talking like a . He is telling me to lodge complaint on him if I want. Also he told me they cannot take action against him even if I lodge complaint. His name is Vimal and his contact number is [protected]. I don't know what to do. I have no other option other than going to Vodafone store. Is there any other way to take action against the person?

                      Now i am a vodafoe prepaid sim card customer. I have lossed my sim before 15 days.First go to vadfone Pvr Saket vodafone store and their inform to executive regarding my miss sim than he told me pls submit fir copy and id proof after that i pay money for new sim and submit all the necessary document.after 15 days till not activated my sim card and always reply one sentence pls wait we will activate soon.I don't understand how much time taken to my old number my cell number [protected] and my mail id [protected]@gmail.com
                      i am himanshi saini a vodafone customer . I recently bought a new number . it has been a week and my vodafone services have not been activated . I cannot make any calls or send smses to anyone . my calls have been barred even after having submitted all my documents.

                      Vodafone — sim is not active after 5 days

                      I visit voda store on dt[protected]. I fill customer aggrement form
                      for swap my postpaid no. To prepaid. I submitt all docs and postpaid
                      sim. He give me a sim and told me that it will active in next 48hrs.
                      But still it is deactive. I am very upset. The salesman named Rishikant
                      is not receiving my call now.

                      Vodafone — SIM not registered

                      For the last five odd years I have been using mobile services from Vodafone. Recently I got transferred to Pune and bought a SIM card from Vodafone authorised store in Kothrud in pune. They took rs 25/- for the SIM and Rs 300/- for recharging my phone. It has been now five days that neither my phone has been registered nor the outgoing calls have started. The amt taken for recharging the SIM has also not been updated. They keep giving me stories and from my busy office schedu.le travelling a distance of ten kms I have gone to their office where they made me wait for 45 mins. Still no progress on the issue. I would therefore like to lodge an official complaint as a serving Army Offr for a sad and disappointing treatment. my mail as sent earlier. till date the phone is not activated. the sim is non functional. and there is no response from vodafone.

                        I was using airtel since last 6 years.
                        I switched to vodafone just this week for its 2g services.
                        but all other charges are too high
                        sms pack 102 is just giving 100 per day and as per trai we can send 200 so why not 200 per day.
                        Airtel was giving me 200 per day for just 85 rupees.
                        this is total loot. cannot afford this much .
                        Vodafone must give 200 messages per day for the same rate or less than that.
                        otherwise i have to switch back to airtel.

                            ## UNEXPECTED DEACTIVATION OF SIM BY VODAFONE !!

                            Seems Vodafone has made another unfair way to earn more money by doing baseless and nonsense deactivation of SIM and even their nodal support have no justification expect apologizing and blaming their automatic system of deactivation.

                            With reference to interaction docket no#[protected] Nodal officer Lokesh told me that "he will revert back by 6PM IST 8th June to update me about the possibility of getting new SIM with same number but so far he didn't. Even I called twice over ISD call and spoke to his co worker too and again he ensured me that by EOD today Lokesh will call me and update the status but everything turned into false promises.

                            Lets see what vodafone's terms n conditions says about the prepaid SIM customers

                            Prepaid Customers:

                            1. Services to your mobile number would be discontinued if there is no usage i.e., no Voice Calls (incoming or outgoing), SMS & Data for any continuous period of 60 days. No refund would be given for any unused talk time balance and validity of the card. Number will be unusable post disconnection.

                            Answer- Since the the day of SIM activation (since 2 years) atleast 30 SMS have been received daily to this mobile. Even last SMS was received yesterday 07th June about 11PM
                            There was incoming call also received in last 7 days (despite being in international roaming).

                            2. Customer with lifetime validity needs to do mandatory recharge with Rs.200 cumulative in 180 days to avoid disconnection.

                            Answer - 100Rs recharge was done on 06Feb 2012 & 100Rs recharge was done on 07 June 2012. Cumulatively in about 120 days or so I have made 200Rs recharge which is also satisfies your this condition.

                            They are more keen to send promotional offers n adds but such important SMS about the deactivation they always miss. They did same in 2009 with my number [protected] and that time also they ate my 300+ Rs and this time again 172Rs plus uncountable inconvenience. This SIM is connected to my many Indian bank accounts, trading accounts etc. Everything is halted because of their nonsense system of deactivation.

                            Can Vodafone justify their deactivation action and that too without any notification. I am giving them 4 working days time to justify their action and start my number again else I will log case in consumer forum and make sure company with such ill support shouldn't cheat the people any more. Consumer forum blogs are fill with such nonsense deactivation but Vodafone never took serious action to fix the issues.

                            Q3. Another annoying n surprising thing is even after deactivation you have accepted my 100Rs recharge yesterday 7th June and even today my friend recharged again for 100Rs at around 10AM, 8th June and money deducted instantly even though at that time SIM was totally dead (INVALID SIM ERROR).

                            I have set this number to many banks, share markets and due to its extensive n important use I cannot afford to let it go. I need your urgent intervention to this matter to activate this SIM again.

                            For quick resolution call me at +[protected]. This number is extremely important for me to get connected with my N number of services in India.

                            vodafone lifetime validity — disconnected without notice

                            I had purchased '"a life tiime validy prepaid connection " from vodaphone it entailed higher charges incoming and outgoing and generally a bigger charge per minute no other terms were advised at time of purchase
                            after some time of non useage it was disconected no notice was given
                            i meanwhile had given an advertisement in the paper quoting thhe number as my business i suffered amajor loss including that of giving the advertsement and loss of bussiness .

                            when i approached the company they said i had not used it so they disconected

                                I ported my number [protected] from airtel to vodafone on 25th May, under the corporate plan from M/S Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., Gurgaon., but after three days, there was no outgoing and incoming. I contacted the customer care for the same. They said that, your address verification went negative. I requested to raise an another request to verify the same again. I had given the copy of the Indian Passport and Company ID proof for the verification of address. The request number for the same is SR No. [protected]. After that, they said that I have to wait for 72 hrs, for the same. After 72 hrs, I called the customer care and confirmed that, there is no verification done against this request number. The customer care people where telling that, I have to process one more mail through the official mail ID, as a request for the repeated verification. Again they suggested for 72 hrs duration for this activity. After 6 days, when i contacted the customer care, they were telling that, I has to go to Vodafone customer care, and submit the IDs again. I am totally frustrated and I don't want to use the services from Vodafone.

                                The funny part is, I ported the second number [protected] through the same process, in the same address, in the same email id and same birth date and it functioning well and the address verification was found positive with this number.

                                Due to this, I cant do any banking transactions (One Time Password cant receive).

                                I need the number back and i would like to move from Vodafone.

                                Vodafone — falls verification of address

                                hello, i m telling about the verification conducted by vodaphone rep i.e falls verification due to that on my address they issued the post paid connection to third person ignoring all the formalities which is a very serious threat and because of such things recently Bombay faced terrorist attack and terrorist managed to get number of sim cards due to wrong/falls verification carried out by mobile company
                                why not the accountability should be fixed of that person who carried out the verification. however i m going to lodge the F.I.R. and this matter will be brought to the notice of innocent public through media because they are the sufferor due to such negligence act m.no.                                 I have a repeat complaint about vodafone. After one round of address verification problems and many calls, smses and emails, my connection was restored.This week it has begin all over again and they seem to think I have a prepaid connection!

                                How hard can this be?

                                      Vodafone — Carelessness in service

                                      Sir,
                                      I am Shalin Joshi, an MBA student & a customer of Vodafone. My mobile number is [protected]. I am facing a really frustrating problem and now I am fed up of the fake promises given by the Vodafone people. The situation goes like this:

                                      I got a call from Vodafone regarding conversion to Postpaid. I liked the plan and agreed. On 27th March, 2009, the salesperson met me and I paid the refundable security deposit of Rs. 250/-. I was told that my verification will be done in next 24 hrs. Now, 3 days passed and nothing happened. My prepaid card was deactivated and the postpaid card was not yet activated. I had my final exams and the calls I was missing were really causing me a great loss. I called up the customer care at 111 and I was told nothing could be done from there and I needed to visit the office. Anyhow, taking out time, I visited the office and I was again given a promise of 48 hrs. As usual, time passed by, and nothing happened. This happened 4-5 times. Finally, the person on the counter told me that it was their mistake and carelessness because they had given a positive verification by mistake. They told me that my number cannot be converted to postpaid. So he told me that he will convert it again to prepaid. As usual, again, promises of 24, 48 and again yesterday, 24 hrs were made but nothing happened and my card is yet not activated.

                                      I am really frustrated about this carelessness on the part of vodafone. I am suffering for no mistake of mine and solely due to their carelessness. Customer service is something that vodafone seriously lacks. Just giving away new connections isn't a sign of good business; customer retention is something which is of core importance. And I have diverted 30 - 35 customers from my friend circle to brands other than Vodafone recently, due to the inconvenience I suffered. I suffered much losses and wasted my precious time to meet the silly people on desks, who know very less regarding their jobs.

                                      THE ONLY REASON I AM FERRYING TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICE IS BECAUSE I NEED TO RETAIN THIS NUMBER. I HAVE LOST ALL MY RESPECT AND LOYALTY TOWARDS VODAFONE.

                                      I REALLY EXPECT YOU TO KINDLY LOOK FORWARD IN THIS MATTER. HOPE YOU TOO WON'T BE GIVING ME PROMISES OF 24, 48 AND 72 HOURS.

                                      Vodafone — careless service

                                      I am very much disappointed by vodaphone services. they charge money by activating services without our wish. n even we can't talk to the customer care as there's no one on line. My caller tone is still active, though i've sent messages many time. this has happened many times. they are just deducting charges without any reason.

                                      Vodafone — Less talk time than promised

                                      I dialed 121 from my Vodafone mobile number [protected] and got the offer that i will get Talk Time of Rs 650 on recharge of Rs 600. I made the recharge of Rs 600 but i only got Rs 543. I inquired Vodafone customer care about it but all of them didn’t responded after putting my call on hold. I called Vodafone today 3 times and all of them said that we are transferring your call to our senior and after that no one attended the call.

                                      Can you please help me in this matter? I have sent a mail to Vodafone customer care as well.

                                      Vodafone — Got less talktime

                                      Hi,

                                      My friend has made my recharge(Topup) from Madhya Pradesh on my vodafone number.

                                      Topup amount was Rs.100.00.

                                      But i got only Rs.80.00 talktime.

                                      I used to get Rs.87.00 to 88.00 earlier.

                                      Please revert back and help me in geting my remaining balance.
