Hi,

I am a frequent user of Yatra.com. Today (03/31) at 2:50 PM I got a call from [protected] number and a Lady spoke to me and told me that since I am a frequent user of "Yatra.com", am I interested in some platinum credit card. I told her no thank you, I am not interested. She said "[censored] Off" and banged the phone. I tried calling this number again and again and I am getting this error "Number not in use".
I am definitely shocked by her behaviour and the abusive language used by her.

In case I am not getting any response from this portal, I definitely plan to register a complaint in Police againt Yatra.com for using the abusive language as I have all the details as proof.

I would request you to track down that Lady and she should applozise for her behaviour and using the abusive languauge with her customers.

    dear sir

    the yatra charged me Rs.582 vide ref.no.[protected] excess and even they not intimate or inform for refund. i not received any e-mail . please check and refund the above money to my account.

    yatra.com is literally taking customers for a ride. I bet their CEO is one of those corrupt ex-bureaucrats with links to the utterly corrupt aviation ministry. Now they are giving a buy 1 get 1 free offer. Consumers naturally expect that if they buy a Rs. 2200 ticket under this offer then they will get a Rs. 2200 or lesser amount ticket free on the next flight booking from their site plus some taxes. But look at the way these [censored]s scam people. They put a fine print in the terms and conditions of the offer that only the base fare will be given as discount and then they change the base fare to Rs. 200 from Rs. 1800 for a Rs. 2200 ticket from Vadodara-Delhi and Delhi-Vadodara. So they give only a Rs. 200 discount when you use their promo code which they deliberately email 2-3 days late when buying the next ticket. Plus note how their system works. For the same flight from Delhi to Vadodara on Feb 21 2011 the Indigo website is showing base fare as Rs. 1800 while Yatra.com is showing base fare as Rs. 200. The taxes on Indigo are shown around Rs. 500 while on Yatra.com it is Rs. 2200 plus. Wow! How can the aviation ministry sit quietly and allow passengers to get scammed, how can they allow travel websites to set a completely different base fare when the website of the same airline and the same flight on the same day is showing the base fare as Rs. 1800. Not only that, their customer support team are total Delhi-type lukkha people, they way they talk and back answer reeks of sniggers suggesting "oh you you got fooled by our websites scheme, no point complaining". And to add to the woes, their website cancellation page lists ticket cancel charges levied by airline as Rs. 750 when the call centre person told me the charge was Rs. 350, he said that the website is showing a "default charge". Right. Default to fool customers again, and to stop them from cancelling tickets when they realise they have been fooled the first time over. See the attached images for the complete picture. They are also not refunding the Rs. 130 insurance purchased for the flight. Now if no one is travelling on the flight where is the need to buy insurance? But they don't refund that, they cut Rs 350 (airline cancel charge JetLite), Rs. 200 (Yatra cancel charge) and Rs. 130 (non-refundable insurance) so total money eaten by these [censored]s is Rs. 680 for giving no service on a ticket of Rs. 2200. Wow! We Indians are born scammers. Jai Hind, yea riigggggggggggggght.


    Going by my personal experiences as well as the wide variety of complaints on this and other consumer forums, it seems that there is no honest company left in India at all. Shame, shame, shame, the land of the Vedas and the sanatana dharma has turned into a big pile of thanks to the globalised market.

      It is a common practice of this company. They don't refund the amount.
      I have also been duped by the yatra.com. My refund is due since 7.7.2015 and I have not received my money back till date.

        I got a ticket from BOM to ADL on Yatra.com 3 months ago.

        But because o[censored]rgent work, I need to go there 1 week earlier. So I wanted to change the departure date of my ticket since 1 week ago, but stil I haven't got any contact from them.

        1. They never let me know their extention number

        Whenever I called them and asked their extenstion, they never let me know.
        "sorry, we are on the progress to get an extenstion number" How ridiculous!

        So I had to repeate the same thing again again again around 20 times, and every time they said
        "OK, after cheking the detial, we will call you back within 10 mis, but I haven;t got any call from them.

        They have been alwasy telling me a lie. They never never called me.

        And I have been wasting so much money & time to call them again again.

        2. Useless custmoer care team

        Even I sent my complaint emails around 20 times, no one replied to me. No one.
        They why they have custmoer care service team?

        I am a foreign national- customer, and I have never seen this kind of poor service during my whole life.

        3. Cheating regarding their fee service option

        There was a free visa assitance option when I got the ticket. as I was a foreigner who were staying in India, I wanted to get the visa assitance service that's why I chose yatra.com

        But during for last 3 months, no one in Visa assitance team contacted me.
        And whenever I asked them to offer visa assitance service they said "we will call you back"

        But nothing happened! Nothing Nothing Nothing

        This is true for Yatra.com . I booked tickets with offer for free gift watch but 3 months have passed and still there is no sign of watch coming my way.
        I have made numerous call and emails to Yatra.com, but not respite. They are really pathetic.
        These kind of online merchants spoil the image of online shopping.

But due to some problem my ticket has rejected but Rs 1886 debit from my account. I had contact your Yatra help line they told me you contact to HDFC bank money will be return with in 2 to 3 days. But HDFC bank manager told me, I can not received your complain. You contact to yatra help line.

              This is srinivas from andhrapradesh, account holder in vijayawada branch, account type is prepaid viswaytra card A/C: [protected]. having account from past 5 months. currently I am studying masters in UK, recently my father reloaded money in my account amount of 3520 GBP. I used my card to pay my tuition fees in the university on 28th jan 2010.I paid 3200 GBP in the amount of 3520GBP. but my balance is showing 114 GBP instead of 320 GBP. rest of the money 215 GBP nearly I lost I want the reason for lossing this money. here I attached the proof of my last transactions copy, please look in this copy and please do favour to me.

                www.yatra.com is an online travel agent company that cheats online customers. My daughter and I had come to India on a summer vacation. We were supposed to return back to the US but due to family emergencies, we had to cancel our booking and stay back in India. I had booked my tickets through www.yatra.com. I was charged INR 80292 for 2 tickets. I have called several times and also written to them several times on email since I have not received any refund as promised. While they have been courteous, they have not kept their word of refunding the money they owe me. They have kept telling me that the cheque has been dispatched and I should receive it in 3-4 business days. It is 4 months and I have not received the refund. Nor are they willing to rebook my tickets.
                Given this is a huge amount, we do not have money to buy tickets through another travel agent (a genuine one) or through airline company. I am not sure if writing on this will have any results. But one thing I would like to say is PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH YATRA.COM . It is a fraudulent company.

                Yatraonline — Poor customer service

                This is regarding the flight ticket which my fiance purchased last month. We emailed yatra for a date change and after a week's time, they replied back saying it's not possible as there is a problem from airlines side. They asked us to directly contact airlines. And if this is the case, why do we book via agents. And tickets are not refundable as well. Never I would recommend anyone to go for yatra.
                After I posted this complaint, I received my refund. Thank you.

                I have not yet received the refund from yatra.com against the cancellation of airtickets.The tickets were booked for the jetairways flights from Mangalore to Chennai and Chennai to Bangalore. The ticket of Rathi Rathi was canclled under Yatra.com reference Numbers [protected] & [protected]. I have confirmation from Yatra.com that the refund amount of Rs.4854.80 will be credited to my account within three wroking days from 14.9.10. But now I find that they have not yet credited this amount to my HDFC Credit card account. I had sent atleast ten messages in this connection to their e-mail id [protected]@yatra.com but I have not yet received any proper reply. Moreover, Yatra call centre people are also not responding to my phone calls. Whenever I call, I get a message to press telephone numbers 1 or 2 for English or Hindi and when i press 1, the line will get disconnected with a remark "you have not replied" .                 On 01 Oct' 2010, I was trying to book a flight ticket for spicejet SG-303 from New Delhi to Madurai to be travelling on 02 Oct' 2010 through yatra.com for my self ( A.VELMURUGAN) and my brother( A P KARUPPIAH). The yatra reference number was [protected]. It was unfortunate that the amount of Rs. 20,259/- ( Rupees twenty thousand, two hundred and fifty nine) was deducted from my account of Indian Bank, but the ticket was unfonfirmed. It was confirmed in the ticket that " In case your preferred itinerary is not confirmed, we will process refund within 3 working days". I had also spoken to yatra customer care and they informed me that booking could not be confirmed and hence they are processing for refund. But till date no refund is received in my account. Please look into the matter and refund the amount of Rs. 20,259/- at the earliest.

                  Yatra Online — Short payment of refund for cancelled ticket

                  I had booked eticket as referred above on 16th Feb, 2010 for my son, Suyash Sudhir Kulkarni.
                  After booking I had made enquiry at Air India’s help line number about requirement of transit Visa at London. They informed that it is not required.
                  While my son went for checking in on 28th Feb, 2010, the Air India refused to give boarding ticket on pretext that UK transit visa is not available. On account of this my son had to cancel the ticket and also the journey to Geneva.
                  He was supposed to report at UNO, Geneva on 1st March as Research Assistant, which he could not do. He passed through mental agony for not being able to reach in time.
                  It is surprising and shocking to note this that Air India misguided us by giving wrong information.
                  Why did Yatraonline issue the ticket without checking the requirement of transit visa. They had instead asked me to check with UK embassy at Chennai for the Visa requirement. I was told that if the transit halt is less than 24 hours and the airport change is not involved, visa is not necessary. Under such circumstances my son is put to inconvenience by flight cancellation in addition to delayed reporting at UNO, Geneva.
                  Afterwards I recd refund of Rs. 19798 out of Rs. 30,698. It was told that the short refund was towards the penalty charged by Air India due to cancellation. How can Air India levy penalty when the cancellation was due to non issue of boarding ticket to my son for no fault of his. It was misguided by Air India so called 'helpline' that transit visa is not required for 3-4 hrs stay at London. Last minute they insisted for transit visa and refused boarding ticket. For this cancellation and delay to join duty at 'United Nations', my son had to pass through high level agony and mental stress. He went to Geneva 3 days late due to Air India' s wrong advice.
                  My son must get the refund of Rs 10900 which was short paid for no fault of his.

But after rejection of visa she straight forward say me that they are deduct my 100% amount witch is very ridiculous. One more thing i like to share that when i going to paid my last payment in Euro 811 she also idea about my rejection in passport after that also she take my money & told me that I will do all procedure. Kindly tell me what i can do

                    Yatra.com is very poor in making refunds if you cancel a flight booking with them.
                    We had 2 passengers booked from New delhi to Kolkata on 16 Dec 2009.One passenger was unable to travel, and we cancelled his booking through the yatra.com customer care number.
                    They cancelled it and informed us that the refund would definitely be made within 10-15 working days.
                    Today 1 month has passed by, and after calling up their customer care line over 6 times, each time i was promised that the refund would be made within 48 hours, but still no refund has been made.

                    Meanwhile, the credit card which was used to make the booking, has been charging us interest /finance charges on the amount of that booking, and we have been paying that from our pockets, which yatra.com refuses to make the refund on time, still promising us 5-6 working days.

                    My suggestion to all customers is that you need to be very careful while booking through yatra.com, since a slight change in your travels, requiring a cancellation or refund, will be a real problem with them.
                    They are good at taking money for booking, but they dont like making refunds or cancellations.
                    I will personally make sure that the Travel & tourism Minister receives this complaint, through my personal links with them.

                    Yatra.com — No refund upon cancellation even after 4 months

                    I booked my flight Mum-Bangkok-Mum by Air India in Oct and then cancelled the same on Dec 19th 2008. I have not got my refund till date. I have been following up and each time I am told that the refund cannot be processed because they are waiting on the airlines. As a consumer if I have booked my tickets and cancelled through Yatra, so I am eligible to get my refund from them. Their internal transactions with airlines or whomsoever shouldn't affect me. It is a large sum of money (69K INR) which is stuck up. Apart from the money, it is immense mental agony to keep following up.

                    I am going to take this complaint to consumer court now because I can see lot of other people suffering the same way.

                    Yatra.com/Flight booking — Refund on cancellation

                    While cancellation of flight ticket the customer care advised only RS 300 will be deducted and same was mentioned on the ticket however additional RS 150 was deducted

                    Yatra.com — refund due to cancellation of flight by the airliner

                    I had booked air ticket through Yatra.com (ref: ZHC60C ) From Imphal to Dimapur on 28 June 2009 by Air India flight IC- 7752 (PNR RLLQVI). using credit card. This flight was cancelled by Air India.I had submitted refund claim to Yatra.com on line and also send e-ticket duly stamped by the air liner that flight was cancelled full refund should be given to pax. I also lodged complaint supportyatra.com, but till date no refund creditted to my accont.
                    Yatra has been doing similar type of harrassment to the customers and trying to defer the payments/refunds fraudulantly. Similar case has happened with me.

                    Yatra.com — No refund after cancellation

                    We booked a flight to AMD from Chicago. We had to cancel the flight so we called YATRA and they told us the flight had been cancelled and the charge minus the cancellation charge, the money will be returned on the credit card within 8-12 weeks. I called them the 12th week to inform that the money was not returned, they told me it would be a few more weeks because the refund was still being processed. Now,I called them today and they said THERE WAS NO CANCELLATION so we are not getting any money back. I mean that's pathetic when there are records o[censored]s calling to cancel.

                    I have booked 5 ticket of flight from Mumbai to Delhi on 26th December 09 through Yatra.com by Icici net banking, total amount Rs.15328 is transfer in there account but my ticketes are not booked by Yatra.com.                     I had cancelled my domestic flight (Del to Mum 23-Apr) booked from Yatra.com on 21-Apr-10 due to volcanic ash I was not able to leave UK on time. Cancellation request was given to the Airlines Go Air.

                    On 1 May 2010 I started chasing yatra.com for the refund.

                    After a reminder sent on 7 May I got a response from Mr. Sandeep Rajput on 9 May to inform that I will receive my refund with 15 working days to my credit card.

                    After a reminder sent on 25 May I got a response from Yatra Team on 27 May. They wrote "This is to inform you that you will get the refund within 7 working days from today. The delay in refund from the airlines end, as we are still waiting for the refund from the airlines."

                    After a reminder send on 9 Jun I got a reponse from Yatra Team on 9 Jun. They wrote "We are really apologize for the delay in refund, Your request forwarded to refund department on urgent basis, you will get your refund within 5 more working days."

                    And I am still waiting my refund to come...

                        Hi,

                        It all started when i thought of a trip to Oooty. I have been hearing alot about Yatra from Internet and Television. So, i booked my hotel from Yatra . They told me that i will get coupons within 48 hrs but i never received the coupons from them for more than a week. Despite my numerous calls and emails, i never received the coupons. I was expecting that Yatra would call up or atleast email me with coupons or someone should have called up informing me about the same. That never happened. So, i told them to cancel my bookings via email and phone. They never registered that request. Luckily for me, one fine day the request was lodged and i got some refund back.The issue now is that they have deducted Rs 1500/- approx on God Knows what account and refunded Rs 2663/- back .i have asked them on numerous occassions about the same but they never responded back

                        Through this medium, i would request Yatra to look into this and resolve my case. I understand that this amount might not be huge but the key point here is there needs to be some transparency and there needs to be better system in place in Yatra to avoid further such issues.

                        Please can you ensure that they take care of this and i get my whole refund.

                        Yatra.com — Non refunding of travel fare due to cancellation of bus survice

                        i have book a ticket on 28/12/09 from Hyderabad to Pune for 31/12/09 (Jorney date) through yatra.com. My details of tickest are

                        On 30/12/09 i recieved a call that bus has been cancelled so i requested them to cancell my ticket as i do not wanted to transfer my ticket to any other bus.

                        I tried to contact many times at Yatra.com but no budy is in a position to solve the problem.

                        Every time when i m calling yatra.com customer care my call is being kept on hold.

                        So till date i have not got my amount back.

                        Request u to take the neccesary action against them so that i can get my amount back.
                        Yatra should shut down their shop. So many big names (reliance, network 18 etc) are behind it but shame less people.

                        I paid approx 1.20 lakh in adavnce for mauritius trip of my friend and they asked me more money, saying fare has gone up, then I paid that then they say the category of room you have choosen is not available now, we will give you some other category of room, , 3 months of regular follow up with them and then also not getting what I paid for.

                        approx 150 mail and 500 phone calls I made but their attitude was - go to hell, we dont care.

                        even people with such big designation (co-founder, india head - retail, regional head- punjab ) were sitting idle, enjoying their so called meetings and doing nothing.

                        I am going to consumer court shortly to show them the mirror.

                        yatra.com is literally taking customers for a ride. I bet their CEO is one of those corrupt ex-bureaucrats with links to the utterly corrupt aviation ministry. Now they are giving a buy 1 get 1 free offer. Consumers naturally expect that if they buy a Rs. 2200 ticket under this offer then they will get a Rs. 2200 or lesser amount ticket free on the next flight booking from their site plus some taxes. But look at the way these [censored]s scam people. They put a fine print in the terms and conditions of the offer that only the base fare will be given as discount and then they change the base fare to Rs. 200 from Rs. 1800 for a Rs. 2200 ticket from Vadodara-Delhi and Delhi-Vadodara. So they give only a Rs. 200 discount when you use their promo code which they deliberately email 2-3 days late when buying the next ticket. Plus note how their system works. For the same flight from Delhi to Vadodara on Feb 21 2011 the Indigo website is showing base fare as Rs. 1800 while Yatra.com is showing base fare as Rs. 200. The taxes on Indigo are shown around Rs. 500 while on Yatra.com it is Rs. 2200 plus. Wow! How can the aviation ministry sit quietly and allow passengers to get scammed, how can they allow travel websites to set a completely different base fare when the website of the same airline and the same flight on the same day is showing the base fare as Rs. 1800. Not only that, their customer support team are total Delhi-type lukkha people, they way they talk and back answer reeks of sniggers suggesting "oh you you got fooled by our websites scheme, no point complaining". And to add to the woes, their website cancellation page lists ticket cancel charges levied by airline as Rs. 750 when the call centre person told me the charge was Rs. 350, he said that the website is showing a "default charge". Right. Default to fool customers again, and to stop them from cancelling tickets when they realise they have been fooled the first time over. See the attached images for the complete picture. They are also not refunding the Rs. 130 insurance purchased for the flight. Now if no one is travelling on the flight where is the need to buy insurance? But they don't refund that, they cut Rs 350 (airline cancel charge JetLite), Rs. 200 (Yatra cancel charge) and Rs. 130 (non-refundable insurance) so total money eaten by these [censored]s is Rs. 680 for giving no service on a ticket of Rs. 2200. Wow! We Indians are born scammers. Jai Hind, yea riigggggggggggggght.


                        Going by my personal experiences as well as the wide variety of complaints on this and other consumer forums, it seems that there is no honest company left in India at all. Shame, shame, shame, the land of the Vedas and the sanatana dharma has turned into a big pile of thanks to the globalised market.

                          This is to bring to your notice that inspite of my several attempts to know the actual status of my refund for the Yatra Reference 65ZVBC. The ticket was booked for 2 passengers from kolkata to chennai and the travel date was 13th Jan, 2010. The ticket was booked on 14th Dec, 2009 and the amount paid was Rs 5660. On calling Yatra Customer Care they are not informing me the exact status of my refund that actually when the amount is going to refund. I have attached the mail received from yatra on saying that the amount is going to get refund on 5 working days but still there is no progress from Yatra side.

                          Kindly look into the matter and please update me with the current status of my refund.

                          Hi Yatra,

The ticket was booked for 1 passenger from kolkata to Agartala and the travel date was 19th Oct, 2009 but was not confirmed & i had to cancel it.                           This is to inform you the inconvenience & problems we faced due to improper planning of return flight to mumbai from New Delhi .We were delayed by Kingfisher from leh while landing at New Delhi by 21-25 minutes . Luggage delay of the airline caused further delays. Further our flight was not continued at same terminus instead we had to go to another terminal i.e. from terminal 3 to terminal 1 due to which we were never able to reach the Go Air Check in counter in time i.e. instead of reaching 45min. early we could reach only 30 min. & Go-air never gave any consideration to our request . Go Air asked us to Check with Kingfisher for considerations as it was Kingfishers delay. We went to terminal 3 again catching a cab from Terminal 1 to request Kingfisher. But Kingfisher said we could have considered had the booking been done for Mumbai with Kingfisher.They could not help for this delay as the connecting flight was with Go Air & further more Go Air could not offer readjustment at their airport counters due to discounted rates fixed with Go Air.
                          During this process we informed your Mr Prabhu & based on his instructions we booked fresh tickets, the cheapest available was with Goair by taking a cab back from Teminal 3 to terminal 1. We were very unhappy due to these inconviniences & Mr Prabhu informed us to go ahead with the bookings & refund would be done within 3 to 4 days.

                          Total cost of ticket rebooking is as under:

                          Charges of GoAir Tickets for 5Persons & 1 Infant (MRS VISHWAJYOTI Y CHAUHAN, MR SANAT KUMAR CHAUHAN
                          MR AKKASHH CHAUHAN, MR YATINDRA CHAUHAAN, MRS SARITADEVI CHAUHAN, INF AMITHI CHAUHAN) = Rs 20788
                          Taxi Charges for going to Kinfisher at Term3 from Terminal1 & back (Mega cab & Meru ) = Rs. 310

                          Total Charges = Rs.21098/-

                          Request you to refund the said amount immediately.

                            I had booked two rooms at Hotel Payal, Khajuraho on 21 Dec 2009 on your website on 10 Dec 2009. I have yet to receive the confirmation and Hotel vouchers through yatra.com website which promised them within 3 hours.

                            A call to yatra.com phone number [protected] at 1000h on 12 Dec 09 brought a promise from the person at the other end to e-mail the same by 1200h the same day. I HAVE SPENT AT LEAST RS 100 ON STD Calls to [protected] since yesterday but no executive is coming online.

                              Yatra.com have charged my credit card but have not issued any tickets or refunded me.

                              They promised to get back to me firstly within 24 hours and after 24 hours, they later changed it to 48 hours. That was a week ago.

                              I still ahve not heard back from them.

                              How do I escalate and how do I report this mal-practice.

                                Hello,
                                I made an hotel reservation with Yatra.com on 10.12.2009 for "The Grand Palace,Yercuad" and made the payment of Rs 10433.00 too, They gave me an reference # yt3815954. They were supposed to send the actual reservation vouchers within 48 hours. But that never happened. The customer care does not respond. They would put on hold for 20-30 mins or disconnect the phone. When I am lucky to speak to one of them I get hear various cooked-up stories.Sometimes they would say that the reservation is done, while sometimes they say that can't send the confirmation due to some technical issue. I checked with the hotel and no actual reservation is made.
                                This is clearly a fraud where they take the money but don't make any booking and try to goo[censored]p the money. I requested for a refund but they say that can't do it. I want to lodge a complaint against them and get the money back. I am sure friends in the forum have similar experience with this company, So can you please advise what shall be done next? I am prepared to go to any extent to deal with this. I wouldn't hesitate to take any legal help also.

                                  I had booked 2 tickets on 05.09.09 vide booking reference no. OUJ9KC subsiquently the tickets were cancelled online on 13.10.09 and confirmation was received that Rs. 3608/- is refund amount but till date not received the refund back nor any response from the office of YATRA insipite of calling continously they put the call on hold. They put a fine print in the terms and conditions of the offer that only the base fare will be given as discount and then they change the base fare to Rs. 200 from Rs. 1800 for a Rs. 2200 ticket from Vadodara-Delhi and Delhi-Vadodara. So they give only a Rs. 200 discount when you use their promo code which they deliberately email 2-3 days late when buying the next ticket. Plus note how their system works. For the same flight from Delhi to Vadodara on Feb 21 2011 the Indigo website is showing base fare as Rs. 1800 while Yatra.com is showing base fare as Rs. 200. The taxes on Indigo are shown around Rs. 500 while on Yatra.com it is Rs. 2200 plus. Wow! How can the aviation ministry sit quietly and allow passengers to get scammed, how can they allow travel websites to set a completely different base fare when the website of the same airline and the same flight on the same day is showing the base fare as Rs. 1800. Not only that, their customer support team are total Delhi-type lukkha people, they way they talk and back answer reeks of sniggers suggesting "oh you you got fooled by our websites scheme, no point complaining". And to add to the woes, their website cancellation page lists ticket cancel charges levied by airline as Rs. 750 when the call centre person told me the charge was Rs. 350, he said that the website is showing a "default charge". Right. Default to fool customers again, and to stop them from cancelling tickets when they realise they have been fooled the first time over. See the attached images for the complete picture. They are also not refunding the Rs. 130 insurance purchased for the flight. Now if no one is travelling on the flight where is the need to buy insurance? But they don't refund that, they cut Rs 350 (airline cancel charge JetLite), Rs. 200 (Yatra cancel charge) and Rs. 130 (non-refundable insurance) so total money eaten by these [censored]s is Rs. 680 for giving no service on a ticket of Rs. 2200. Wow! We Indians are born scammers. Jai Hind, yea riigggggggggggggght.


                                  Going by my personal experiences as well as the wide variety of complaints on this and other consumer forums, it seems that there is no honest company left in India at all. Shame, shame, shame, the land of the Vedas and the sanatana dharma has turned into a big pile of thanks to the globalised market.

                                    I had booked domestic airline travel tickets from AHmedabad to mumbai thru YATRA.com which i had to cancel bacuase of some personal changes in the travel plans.

                                    I cancelled the tickets by talking to them over the phone a month ago.

                                    However, they have yet not refunded the money to me. I have tried calling them few no of times and every time i have been told it will be processed in 2-3 days..

                                    I am fed up now...and wish to take legal action.

                                        after charging me an amount of Rs. 7687 the yatra.com people are not even ready to talk properly on the customer care no.they say that the seniors are looking into the matter and they are very busy to talk to you therefore we will get back to you in 2 days and this has been happening for 15 days now. i was charged the amount for my return tickets but the tickets were not given to me.

                                        they are frauds and i want my bank and the consumer complaint forum to take serious action against them. this is not the first time that they have done such a fraud.

                                        please look into the matter with a serious aspect.
