Yatra is a fraudulent company who believes in earning money from customers by any means.
Yatra officials have misguided me by malafied intension and cheated ₹310000/- from me on the name of foreign tour. And now not refunding the money.
Even not answering the calls & mails...

The worst company i have seen in my life is yatra.com

Yatra officials are trained very well how to trap the customers and once when customers believe in their sweet conversations, yatra shows their original face by delaying the things intentionally to forfeit the amount of customers.

Yatra team is not cooperative enough and even after delaying things by 05-06 months paid only 25% of my amount back. 75% has been digested by them very frequently...

    My flight was cancelled by the airlines. But i have been charged online processing fee and discount which comes to a total of close to rs. 1500. When i contacted yatra through chat, i kept getting the same answer that it's per policy.

    It's totally unfair. Yatra does not have a proper contact number to talk to. All the numbers displayed on the site do not exist. Why would yatra display that airline option? It is never mentioned in the terms that i would be charged this amount even if the airline cancels the flight. Why would discount amount matters if the flight is cancelled? Booking ref no:[protected]

      I booked my ticket to boston and the flight got rescheduled just 8 hours before the departure. I had to cancel the booking the same day on 24th march 2019 and the refund request was made. So many phone calls and emails has been exchanged and i was assured that the the money will be refunded within 3 weeks. It has been more than 8 weeks now that no response from the company. Infact they have stopped replying to my emails and hardly have any answer when i call their customer care. Infact they issued the ticket without the ticket number and it had only yatra booking number so i can't even call delta airlines for the refund status.
      They are big cheat and must be booked for their frauds.

        Hi

        I booked a ticket to chennai to colombo in yatra for 11169/-. Even though transactio0n was successful friom bank side, i dint get the confirmed ticket for more than hours, then i called the customer for for 5 times with 2 hours of interval between each, every time i was given fake commitment that they will call me back as the system doesn’t has any information.

        I am literally fed up with yatra service. My gift vouchure of 10000 is redeemed but ticket confirmation failed, after calling customer care they said they will call back and confirm the status and i will be able use the gift voucher with in minutes. But when i tried after 8 hours also its not working, they are asking me to call in touch with bank. If i call bank they say its a successful transaction from their end, so they cant refund unless yatra write to them.

        I have all the call recordings and reference numbers. Also later at one stage customer support people b started dis continuing my call just like that.

          I booked yatra europe super saver package id - yh4880869 / yh4880888 for 4 adults and 1 child on 14th march 2019

          Following are my concerns:
          1. No one reverts over mail and calls unless we chase them by continuously calling and mailing.
          2. Promised 4 star hotels and offered a 2 star hotel in paris where we've to stay maximum 3 days. This was confirmed for visa application. Later on raising an issue, now they're saying you won't get it but also not sharing the details of hotels for all locations. They say it is the policy to share it 3-5 days before departure.
          3. Total cost - inr 1, 78, 070 per person for adult and inr 1, 19, 270 for child out of which we paid rs 192500/- as booking amount (1.5lac) and visa fee (42500). Day before visa appointment we're asked to pay visa fees at vfs on the promise that they'll refund the amount paid which is not done yet.
          4. Offer of discount through hdfc payment was offered which meant rs 6000 instant discount and rs 13000 as cask back within 90days of payment. There agent guided me at the time of booking to avail this offer on second installment. But now they're refusing on pretext of bank offer is no more applicable. I could have paid this amount before but they guided to pay on second installment. Now they're offering only 10k discount and asking me to bear rest of 9 k.

            I had booked a flight by yatra.com (Mr ankit kumar) and had travelled by indigo 6e-738 flight from hyderabad to delhi on 08 jan 19. Pnr no is yip1kd. I had requested for a travelling certificate mentioning fare details for the purpose of reimbursement for the expenses i have made during the travel.                 I have made a booking vide id yh5036721 with yatra.com. Due to some unavoidable circumstances i have requested the team on 8th may (15 days prior to the departure date - departure date is 23rd may 2019) to reschedule my tour plan for next month ie june.in spite of repeated followups no reply came till 13 th of may. Suddenly the officer at their end started following up for payment and not resolving the query for the mail pitched on 8th of may 2019. After some communication i got a revert saying that the amount deposited will be forfeited. My question to the team is that is it so ruled terms that the reschedule of the tour was not possible in the said case in-spite of conveying 15 days prior to the departure date. (Being a traveler have some basic knowledge that the same can be done). However if a person is following for confirmation of said mail sent of 8th may, team comes suddenly before a weeks from departure date for payment and till date i haven't got a reply that why it took around more than 5 days to start a discussion and 6 days to reply that the said reschedulement of the trip is not possible (All of the communication is on mail however no mail confirmation on mail from the company site except amount being fortified). Again a question asked that the terms and condition sent on mail doesn't contain the clause or any word for reschedulement. It means that if a person is planning an international trip (As in most cases a common man plans the travel approx more than 15 to 30 days advance and is unaware about the un expected hassle coming his way during the time between travel date and booked date) he will be at the risk of loosing the money paid towards the booking to the company. No incidental instances or any other claim will be entertained is what i have experienced while booking the said tour with yatra.com. However also making a request to give 24 hrs towards final confirmation on 15thmay 2019 on the said booking/ request is also not entertained. Strange british rules followed where in let the customer go to task we will not deviate any of our terms inspite asking repeatedly and highlighting the points. No mail with proper justification on reason of not able to cater the postponing of tour and no clause in the sheets highlighted confirming reschedulement not possible. The force conveying that your money is lost in a single line says the treatment to the customer. The unorganized and unreliable replies (Only on phone no written confirmation) without any proper authority to take a clean decision on customers hard earned remuneration. Totally depressed with the attitudes and replies.

                Strange they have also barred me from putting a mail in a complaint box via their complaint site

                Resolution requested for postponement of travel dates and as of now entertained with a rigid answer of not possible. You live or die you need to travel as per our plans or forget the amount paid.

                    I booked bus ticket from delhi to rishikesh. It gave me a departure time of 11:15 pm and left the location as advised by mr sanjay that the bus is supposed to left by 10pm from ramakrishna ashram marg near piller no 9 and 10. So i missedd the bus because as mentioned in ticket.. Not the same is not affected while i returned in reference time[protected]Rishikesh to delhi) yet worked exactly as the itinerery details. So what happened in onward travel that that itinerery gave me a wrong time rather i had to suffer a great loss after i missed the bus. I had to pay fare for auto from r k ashram margto bus station forth 200 inr at nght and bus worth 1560 inr details available.. And the hasle that i had to face... Me sanjay was very rood and he also misguided as did by the itinerery... I need to be assisted for my loss. This should have happened... I need a resolution at the earliest for the entire loss...

                    As checked the details against booking reference number[protected] you selected boarding address as "Rama Krishna Metro Station, Rama Krishna Metro Station Pillar no. 09 - 10" where in the depart time is shown as 10:00 PM. There is no error found at our end as all the details pertaining to bus departure time was shared before payment, hence any refund against your booking is not applicable.

                      I had booked domestic tickets via yatra. I needed to reschedule for 2passengers. I tried to do the same via website but yatra site was not working so i raised compaint. After 5-6 days the issue was still not resolved. I talked to customer care and they only asked me to get in touch with airlines (Indigo). So i talked to indigo and did the reschdulling of 2 passengers and cancellation of ticket for other 2.

                      Now when i am asking for refund, yatra is deducting service fee. I want to ask what service in my case they provided. There system is not working. Their customer service are not capable. Customer himself has to talk to airlines. Then what kind of service they provide. They are just looting hard earned money of customers.

                      As per records our team tried contacting you on the registered number several times on 30 March 2019, but the concerned person who answered the call was not aware about the details, Later team again connected with you for help after some time on the same day where in you confirmed that you are already in conversation with the airlines. We would want to inform you that at the time of cancellation airlines penalty and yatra service fee would be applicable any discount taken at the time of booking would also be reversed, After deductions applicable refund of Rs. 249.00 is already processed from our end same would reflect in the same mode of transaction with in 5-7 working days.

                        I have never in my life experienced such a poor customer service from any travel or any other service provider company.
                        My go air flight for maldives got cancelled and yatra never cared to inform me about the same. When i got to know it from airlines itself, i contacted yatra people and that turned out to be the most disappointing customer service i have ever experienced. It took me three attempts to finally reach a person who was ready to listen what my concern was and after listening he gave me a standard response to wait for 2 hours for a call back. I waited for half the day and there was no call back. I called again and requested to speak with a supervisor and that person said he is transferring my call t the supervisor right away and got rid of the call. On the other hand, the supervisor kept me on mute and did not interact at all inspite of my numerous attempts. I waited for 26 minutes on the call, and nobody responded. The customer service people tell you to you to write email and wait for call back but you wont get any call back or any response to emails.
                        Forget about providing a resolution or refund, they dont address and entertain the customer only at the first place to know what the issue is. Stop calling yourself as india's leading travel partners becuase you have only brought shame to the travel industry by your poorest customer service. Another and very fine example of why make my trip and goibibo are the trusted and leading brands.

                          Yatra is not initiating the refund of jet airways ticket which was cancelled by jet.

                          I already checked with jet airways, as per them they have initiated the refund for all cancelled flights.
                          But yatra is not ready to initiate the refund for the same and moreover they have very poor highly unprofessional customer care unit who do not know how to interact with customer.

                          I got attached response from JET airways Nodal officer about my refund, and it clearly states that it has to be refunded by travel Agent.
                          I have been hearing to this since 10-12 days that you are in contact with JET to initiate the refund but they have
                          clearly mentioned travel agent has to refund it.

                          Do you have any answer for the below reply from JET airways wherein they clearly said that yatra has not initiated nay refund for the ticket .I really have no idea why Yatra is playing this bluff GAME and harassing the customers :

                            Hi, i had booked a flight from mumbai to barcelona and back for 2 adults via yatra reference no : yt32541604. Going flight was jet and coming back was klm flight.
                            Jet cancelled flights, so did klm but there was no intimation from either them or even yatra of cancellation or refund. After hours of waiting in queue at yatra's ivr, the agent said we will get back on mail.

                            I called jet airways as well as klm, both confirmed that the refund has been sent to yatra already. I again called yatra and on my requesting for proof of cancellation, i got a mail 3 days ago dated 24th april, that "we can help process the cancellation of your booking and due refund shall be initiated only post confirmation from jet airways. We will connect with you as soon as we receive an update from the airline.". There were no commitment or timelines given for refund. This is after jet confirmed that our pnr is already updated with refund status and they have asked yatra to initiate the refund.
                            I am shocked that yatra doesnt give timeline or commit to pay. Yatra has received the payment but is not releasing the same. This is cheating. Yatra needs to refund my amount paid immediately. How can they keep client's money and keep lying to us. Pls help get this in order urgently. Thanks

                            The presented copies of the documents of very poor visibility are NOT the recognised international e-tickets
                            (no 13 digits numbers, no fare, no mode of payment), which had been issued by yatra.com travel agent .
                            The document YT32541604 is an order only.

                            Nobody can see the notice of the cancellation, which are issued by KLM air carrier on unknown date.
                            The KLM carrier do not have the reservation of 2 passenger: PNR U98JU8.

                            If the yatra.com entity did not issue 2 e-tickets to payeer, which must comntain 13 digits each,
                            you are entitled on refund from the yatra.com operator within 7 days followwing the request of payeer on their site.

                            If the yatra.com sent notice of the cancellation, you are entitled on the compensation from the yatra.com operator within 7 days following the request of passenger or of the payeer on their site.

                            Note, it useless to demand the refund or the compensation more than 2 times.

                              Booked a ticket for three passengers on yatra for a multi city flight from delhi to the us and back. The flight was on delta and part of the itinerary was operated by jet hence got cancelled. Contacted yatra but they were of no help so contacted the airline directly and was put on an alternate itinerary but final re-issue of ticket has to be done by yatra. Unfortunately they lack the basic competence to execute something like this. They don’t reply to emails. The phone customer service does nothing apart from apologise and request for 2 hours more, 24 hours more, 48 hours more. They assure a call back because they can’t do anything else but never call back either. This has been going on for more than a week and it is the most frustrating experience. Complete disregard for customers. I have other bookings dependent on this but they are least bothered since to them the money in received so now they can ignore.

                              Nobody has a duty to react on anonimous text of the complaint, of indeffinite complaint.

                              It is logically, if you open your face at the street, if the author does need the legal services,
                              the author does not intend to make the fraud, the author need to introduce himself / herself and to give ID of booking. So, leave

                              1. Your full name

                              2. Contact

                              3. PNR and booking number in FULL in attchment,

                              4. Wait 24 hours for the response of the operator of the service.

                              If the above introduction is executed by the complainant (claimant),
                              and no confirmation is received within 24 hours,
                              the complainnat is entitled on full refund via the bank for the fraudlent transaction.
                              The bank / operator - that who issued the 1st receipt, shall refund in full within max 10 days.

                              It is uselss to request the same service from the same operator / complainant more than 2 times always.

                                Hi, i had booked a flight from mumbai to canada and back for 2 adults + 1 child via yatra reference no : yt35082107. Going flight was ethiad and coming back was jet airways flight.
                                Jet cancelled flights, so did ethiad but there was no intimation from yatra of cancellation or refund. After hours of waiting in queue at yatra's ivr, the agent said we will get back on mail.

                                I called jet airways a week ago, they said refund send to yatra. I called ethiad, they said refund sent, speak to yatra. However apart from a mail received 7 days ago on 18th april, there has been no refund from yatra. I have even called several times, and the agents have same standard reply that we are taking it up from jet airways and we have no information on when the refund will be initiated.
                                We again contacted both jet and ethiad and they reconfirmed that yatra has received the refund, but yatra refuses ti return or commit. Pls see screenshot of chats with jet & ethiad confirming the refund to yatra.
                                Yatra has received the payment but is not releasing the same. This is cheating. Yatra needs to refund my amount paid immediately. How can they keep client's money and keep lying to us. Pls help get this in order urgently. Thanks

                                      I have booked flights from hyderabad to paris and amsterdam to hyderabad on 19 th april and later on next day i found a doubt about name format for which i have placed a request online through mail.later as it was taking time to get call from their side i placed a cancellation of my ticket with booking refrence number[protected] after reading their terms and conditions.in which they said that without cosent of customer they are not going to initiate cancellation of ticket.after some time i got call from their customer care person in which he clarified me about the name format which does not need any changes.so i asked him not to cancel the flight ticket with ref no.[protected].but on 22 april i found an update saying that my flight wit above refno. is cancelled.i spoke to person of them in which he was just saying sorry for that and also he cant do anything for that, also said that it was system fault ...for which i said as per your terms and conditions you should not cancel the ticket without consent of customer, for which he was just saying appology...but i lost 67000 for flight tickets of 2 persons.i asked them as it was their system fault they should return my money or book another ticket for 2 people to same destination.

                                        I had booked through yatra online private limited bangalore my flight tickets for travel from ccu-bom-paris-dfw (Usa) on 05.05.2019 with a payment of rs.96014.00 to them which they informed on 16.4.19 as being cancelled.

                                        However, when i asked for refund they are repeatedly emailing the same message as "please be notified that jet airways has temporarily suspended all operations. All jet airways flights have been cancelled. We can help process the cancellation of your booking and due refund shall be initiated only post confirmation from jet airways. We will connect with you as soon as we receive an update from the airline."

                                        Incidentally, i was forced to re-plan my journey and they did not adjust the refund amount. As such i am also paying interest for the cancelled booking as it was booked with six months emi option.

                                        Beside that, as my journey is coming closer on 06.5.2019 and they are creating the financial constraints not refunding the money, i have no other option but your intervention to arrange the immediate refund.

                                        My YATRA REF NUMBER[protected]. Despite my several emails to Team Yatra in past few days you have not responded with any refund confirmation. I am paying an interest for your cancelled booking as it was booked under EMI option. I had to pay Rs. 9000 more for your cancelled booking plan and to make a fresh booking for which you have not adjusted the REFUND amount.

                                        Therefore, do REFUND my cancelled ticket money paid to you immediately along the excess payment that had to incur for your cancellation.

                                        Thank you for booking with Yatra.com.

                                        We would like to confirm that the refund of INR 86233.00 due to you, for reference number[protected] was processed on 24-Apr-2019 from Yatra.com to your account. Refunds to e-wallet are processed instantly at the time of cancellation. In case of refund to bank account/credit card, Yatra takes 30 mins to process your refund. Further, the private sector banks may take 2 - 3 working days and public sector banks may take up to 7 working days to refund in your account."

                                        In this context, please be informed that I have paid Rs.96014.00 on 30.12.2018 along Rs.1800(+GST) on interest payment so far and an excess expenditure of Rs 6700 (approx) for revised flight booking.

                                        Therefore, you are requested once again to process the payment of original payment balance amount (Rs.96014.00 - Rs. 86233.00) = Rs.9781.00 along the interest paid to you for the EMI mode booking with difference of excess payment that I had to incur for the cancellation.

                                        Incidentally, You have still now did not cancel the domestic flight segment booking against above booking reference for CCU-BOM and neither arranged the REFUND though I received earlier an email about processing the same..

                                        I hope you shall do the needful to cancel the domestic segment booking in your website record and arrange the balance REFUND IMMEDIATELY.

                                        On 16.4.19 at 13.11 hrs your domestic flight service Yatra Team replied the following :

                                        "Dear Customer,
                                        Greetings from Yatra.com!
                                        This is in reference to your query under booking reference number[protected] .
                                        We would like to inform you that as per our telephonic conversation we have cancel your travel from kolkata to bombay and your refund of INR 8573/- is under process from our end in the same mode of payment through which you have made the booking.

                                        Kindly note, Yatra takes up to 24 hours to process your refund. Further, private sector banks may take 2-3 working days and public sector banks may take up to 7 working days to credit the amount into your account. In case you do not receive the refund within the above mentioned period, we would request you to please contact your bank to check on the credit.
                                        Note: Please do not amend the subject line while reply"

                                        PLEASE NOTE IT IS ALREADY MORE THAN A WEEK and neither there is a REFUND TRANSACTION ID given to me nor the refund is visible in my log in YATRA customer website.

                                        Jet Airways cancelled Flight No. 9W -610 scheduled on 05 May 2019 for CCU-BOM sector which was part of domestic sector booking with reference to my Booking Ref vide PNR No. MZEKYM

                                        Therefore, please arrange the refund of the cancelled booking IMMEDIATELY.

                                        With reference to your communication under booking reference number[protected], I like to express my thanks and acknowledge that I have received a refund of Rs.86233.00, but still now the refund of cancellation of domestic flight CCU BOM of Rs. 8573.00 as communicated by you is not reflected in my Bank account. Neither you have made any communication in this context.

                                        Therefore, please do the needful to refund the amount along the EMI interest you have taken for this booking.

                                        Yatra has paid Rs.8573 for the cancelled trip on 6th June 2019. Thanks for the refund and thank you forum for taking care of the issue which was neglected by Yatra.com prior raising the issue through you.
