Sir,

I have booked an air ticket through yatra website on 03.07.2019. When i booked 1st time rs.3401 /- was deducted from my account. But i din't receive a ticket the 1st time. Then i received a call from yatra call center that your ticket is not confirmed & he insisted me to book again & said that the failure booking amount will be refunded with in 2 to 3 days. On 03.07.2019 i sent my 1st mail regarding the refund complaint with screenshot of amount deducted from bank. I receive a mail from yatra team that the amount was not credited in our account. The reply from yatra is

This is with reference to your email dated 3rd july 2019, regarding the payment deduction
We would like to inform you that as per our records your payment has been auto reversed. The payment made from your account was not materialized. Therefore, there is no refund pending from our end.

    My booking reference number is yh4799445

    On last second last day when i stayed in hotel mercure in rome... My ac was not working and it was 30.4 c in the room... I complained in the reception and no one corrected the ac and give me the same reply everytime i asked them which was "our technician is working" i also asked what is the timeline to correct it and they said we dont have any... This situation was with some other people as well and nothing was done to correct it... I also requested them to atleast move my mattress to my friends room who was in the same group package and they said they dont have any help boy who can do that... Being a 4 star hotel it was not expected from this kind of service...ac was working in other people's room who was there in the group package... I had flight next morning and i was not able to sleep whole night due to non functional ac... I will never recommend any one to choose yatra... Also same issue occured in hotel splendid galzignano

    Ac was not working in this hotel as well and whole group complained about this and we had a verbal discussion with receptionist who failed to deliver us the proper reason of not working of ac.. One of our group member complained about this and they got extra snacks and a drink in the next day dinner...

    I never expected that this kind of service will be delivered after paying so much of money.

Please be assured that we are taking the necessary steps to ensure that such instances, though rare already, do not recur. As per the details shared by our team that hotels in Europe do not have air – conditioning as a norm. As most of the hotels are only having air cooler/air ventilator or some of them are not even having an air cooler. We understand that the temperature is high in Europe this time. Please note we have taken up a serious note & feedback has been shared with the concerned team for further improvement and as checked as a special gesture Yatra free snacks and along with beverage was offered at Indian affairs restaurant. We request that kindly treat this as an isolated case and rest assured you would never have this kind of experience in the future.

    Hi Team,

    If Ac is not working in all the candidates of the group then i can understand your response.But only few rooms were having issue of AC. Hotel management directly told that they cant change room and when i asked them to atleast send housekeeping boy to transfer my mattress to Rohit's room who was another couple with us tour ...hotel replied they dont have any housekeeping boy...I have full video of the hotel receptionist with me and which shows their behavior...If you are giving the reason that europe is non Ac region than why AC provided to other tour member of our group.I would have not complained if the issue was with whole group but only 8 rooms had issue and only few o[censored]s suffered whole night with flight to catch in next morning.

    The snack you are saying which were provided was for the bad AC service at the splendid hotel... I am complainting here for mercure hotel which was the last hotel for us.

    If no action is taken and no appropriate solution or some refund is not given i will post the video in social media which we have taken for the ill behavior of hotel and yatra service.

    Please be informed that we never commit AC room in Europe as most of the Hotels in Europe are having centralized Air ventilator system. It is completely under Hotel control that in case they have AC rooms and by any chance it is available then they mostly do provide it on first come first serve basis depending upon the availability. Nowhere, it is mentioned on the voucher that we will provide AC room.

    We would request you to please share the video at [protected]@yatra.com, so that we can take it further with the hotel on their behavior with the guest.

    Hi team,

    Half of our group have AC working in their room and only few o[censored]s have the faulty AC...IF you are saying AC is not commited then it should be for whole group.why only few o[censored]s have to face the heat. It was 32 celcius in room and with no fan...Can you please justify how a person can sleep in such a heat without any fan...we had AC in room but it was not working...we didnt had any fan...whole night we were at reception as the reception are ac was working and we didn't has sleep for night with flight to catch in morning ...I accept that you dont provide ac in europe but at that heat and ac working in others room can you justify why only few o[censored]s had to face the heat... Hotel didnt move mattress to my friends room so that we can sleep...If that is the case i will never suggest anyone to use yatra from now. We paid so much just to have a sleepless night with a flight next day

This flight is canceled through indigo airlines n they said dat yatra ll refund d full amount because it is booked through yatra.i[censored] dont refund d amount then ill file a case against Yatra so refund it as soon as possible

      I booked booked 3 tickets for me and my 2 kids through yatra.com from Edinburgh to New Dehi via Birmingham in April 2019. Travel date 26 June 2019.
      Ticket issued and email sent to us. On travel date while checkin we got to know that ticket was canceled by yatra. We were not informed and neither was our payment refunded. Me and my 2 kids were stranded at Edinburgh airport without any information from yatra. We kept trying yatra Customer care number from airport from a landline but it was not connecting. It finally got connected from my mobile. Yatra Customer care first said that tickets are booked but later on cross checking they said that the ticket was successfully booked and issued but later due to some technical error at their end it was cancelled.

      I was not informed by yatra about this. Neither was their any refund in my account which could hint me about the cancellation. I kept begging them for issuance of the tickets for me and my kids but no use. They were not ready to help me instead asked me to purchase a new ticket for next day which costed 4lacs.
      This is pure harassment.
      I want to sue yatra for the mental emotional physical and financial trauma that me and my kids went through. Please suggest.

        Refer the yatra booking reference no yh4874750.

        It's over a month that im speaking to yatra customer care and sending almost 20 - 30 emails but you guys are so thick skinned that you don't even reply on time leave aside the refund part.

        Why on earth you make false promises before the trip and later take so much time to process legitimate refunds of customer.

        I have been a regular customer however you have forced me to consider other players in the market for my future travel plans.

        I seek immediate refunds and reimbursement for my visa fee as also the extra amount paid by me over and above the package cost and no more fake assurances please as it's been over a month since i have shared the receipts with you.

          I booked flight ticket from yatra.com on 22nd march 2k19.. That time there was promotion offer for hdfc bank card holder.. 5x cashback points i must to get in 90 days.. I booked ticket in approx 34000.. Already 90 days past.. I complained it to yatra.. 2 days they gave reply and requested me to wait for 24hours.. Now they are not replying my mails.. I already opened 2 complains.. But instead there is no response from their side.. I want my refund.. I want to file complain against yatra.. Please help me in this issue

            A terrible journey of frauds, misbehavior, hidden terms, multiple loopholes worth 53K
            Date of incident: June 12-17; YH5018232
            I booked a north-east tour package for my elderly parents (65+), clearly mentioning upfront to customize a trip for senior citizens. Ronu Sen Gupta, a yatra representative shared a quote, including return flights, and told me that it is a group package. I agreed to it and paid partial payment. On asking multiple times and chasing, if there are any particular instructions to be followed, none was informed and nothing as such is shared in the itinerary.
            1. First pain and suffering for my parents came when they were told to wait at the NJP railway station for 5 hours, because pick up can't be provided at the airport, though mentioned in the itinerary. I tried connecting and resolving the same with Gurinder, a yatra representative, instead of resolving, he misbehaved and talked rudely (call logs/ records can be asked).
            After multiple calls, Vishnu Rathore, a Yatra representative, ensured an early pick up (in an hour of their arrival), through a mail (documented). even after ensuring, the tour coordinator, Mandeep asked my parents to drop in between at some random petrol pump and asked them to wait for just 10-15 minutes and driver will be sent to pick them up. In the scorching heat, my diabetic and heart patients, 65+ years parents, made to wait for next 1.5 hours, total 5 hours after their arrival. The Yatra representatives, themselves accepted that they didn't follow the protocol to inform every traveller in the group package about their pick up/ waiting time.
            2. Gangtok hotel, Mayal Retreat (3-star hotel promised as per itinerary) wasn't having ACs and fans, and on complaining, hotel manager answer was as the hotel is new, ACs are yet to be installed. But Yatra representative, Deepak Pandey told me that due to fine temperature in Gangtok, there is no need of the same. SERIOUSLY? Will they decide? and is it the same in each and every hotel of Gangtok? and why not informed upfront? even the table fan couldn't be arranged. And suffocation could lead to any worse situation.
            3. Another flaw in the itineraries shared while partial and full payment, both were different. Who is responsible for that? My parents driver refused to take them to the places of visit in Pelling, and asked for extra charges, WHY? because final itinerary shared was different/ missed certain places what was earlier discussed. Solution provided saying that same has been conveyed to vendor.
            4. BUT NO, it wasn't. Next day on the sight seeing in Pelling, the driver stopped the car in the middle of nowhere and refused my parents to the mentioned waterfalls, as his reason was that he wasn't paid for that. My parents panicked and it is so obvious, as network issues were there. IS THIS ALL I PAID 53K for?
            5. Hotel in Darjeeling was worse, smelly, stinking, again no ACs, fans, no exhaust in washroom, windows opening towards market, lot of noise, dust, pollution coming if kept open.
            What kind of trip was that? I have all the correspondence mails and the solution provided and broken promises, and fake apologies.
            Yatra representative, Vinay Sharma, responded me with the INR3000 User money which i would never accept. it is more like the alms offered. They need to be taught a lesson.
            Compensation: As a compensation, i am expecting, full fledged return of my 53k for all the pain and suffering me and my parents went through, the most expensive TIME i invested, for all the faults, misbehaviour, mismanagement, irresponsibilities, i feel the only justice is the full repayment of the amount paid, as what i expected or what Yatra offers, isn't fulfilled at all.

              Booked holiday last year with Ref. no: YH 4188156. At the time of booking, all executives; Danish, Sakshi, Richa had talked and informed me that I can use my e-cash for online purchase on Amazon and similar online platforms. After completion of the tour, I had continuously follow-up for the same but no response from any of them. Even mail and lots of phone calls done from my side but no response for that also. Yesterday my 7000 e-cash got expired due to no response from Yatra Staff. For the confirmation of the talk, you can listen sales call from that executives last year.

                I've reserved ticket with Jet Airways from Yatra[protected]. The flight got canceled and I've requested for refund in last week of April I haven't received the money yet. When I contact Yatra they keep sending me an email stating wait for 45 days and they are waiting for confirmation from Jet. When I ring Jet they keep telling me they haven't received any refund request and They don't understand why yatra is not raising refund request. I regret making a booking from yatra.

                  Dear Team,

                  On 3rd June 2019, I booked a ticket from Kolkata to Ahmedabad (for 11th June 2019) on the Yatra portal by paying INR 3940 from the card and 2500 via yatra voucher.
                  It was on 9th June 2019 that I wanted to reschedule the flight to 14th June 2019. Upon processing with the reschedule request, I was displayed a screen asking me to pay INR 4360 for processing the reschedule. I paid the same immediately, but to my surprise, my account was debited by INR 6860 instead of INR 4360 as shown on the payment screen. I immediately had a word with Yatra executive at around 2.30 pm wherein I was informed that there was a TECHNICAL GLITCH at their end and that my excess deduction of INR 2500 will be refunded within 2-3 working days in my bank account.
                  Today on 17th June, after the passage of 8 days, when I did not receive any refund, I checked with the yatra executives again.
                  To my utter surprise, they responded saying the refund has been processed as a coupon which comes with 1-day expiry and has already expired and we cannot do anything now.
                  This to me is a complete fraud. Due to their TECHNICAL GLITCH, I was charged exactly 2500 extra and the refund was in form of the coupon though the payment was from the account. If this continues, they can dupe people of any amount and then transfer to one-day validity coupons as per their convenience.
                  Please look into the matter urgently and request you to take immediate remedial action and save my INR 2500, please.

                  Because of the delay in your responses, I could have been duped by 19000 now.
                  One of the people named Bhavesh Kumar posed as a yatra refund team manager and enquired me about the entire issue. He was sympathetic and told me they are refunding the entire amount right now via Bhim UPI.
                  On my app, I received a collection request of 18, 999 from some Ram Krishna ([protected]@paytm). He told me to approve the same with the 4 digit PIN for initiating the refund.
                  Had I not been sus[icious and prudent about the collection request, I could just have been robbed for 18, 999.

                  I earnestly request you to close this issue on priority and initiate my refund or else now I also sue for harassment I am facing for last 10 days.

                    I would strongly advise to avoid using this India based travel company www.yatra.com to book any holiday packages after seeing the travel agent (Manish Chaudhary/komal) promises and in later you land up changing the hotels /private vehicles as per your desire but listen I am paying huge money so this should be driven as per my desire not yours;otherwise you should not give any such promises if you can't delver it.

                    Also while taking money you guys promised something and then when it comes for delivery then it altogether different.

                    YOU guys made a lot false promises like below -

                    1. HOTEL GOT CHANGED without prior information.

                    2. Private vehicle was to be used Innova/Xylo, but now when someone from your team is going thru the policy then she also stated Indigo. Could you please tell why this was not brought at the first stage.

                    3. ecash was promised, but not yet delivered.

                    I have got no choice but I know, how to put this across in all the platforms but for me this package came as a biggest surprise but I would defintely would like to spread it acorss.

                    I am not happy since the begining of my journey. you guys have been non-cooperative and unprofessional.

                    I wuld avoid using this travel company + will sensitise the same to other people; in case you are looking forward to resolve this matter then you are welcome.

                        I have booked the bus in Yatra website using the gift voucher. Then I had to cancel it due to unexpected situation. Cancellation was done on April 24th. After that I have emailed & contacted their customer support almost 20 to 25 times. Whenever, I call they used to say the refund would be processed in 2 to 3 days. But so far nothing has been done. Pathetic service I ever received from a company to their customers. Irresponsible team they have . I stopped following up with them as there is no point in doing so. I will never book anything in Yatra going forward.

                            I have booked a chardham Yatra package through Yatra. They have shared the complete package through email. They had showed hotel lemon tree for Dehradoon stay. After which I made the full payment now instead of lemon tree hotel they have given me Hotel madhuban in Dehradoon. When I have asked the reason for not providing me hotel lemon tree reservations, one of their executive, Dharmendra said their tie up with this particular hotel has ended .So I asked him to refund my money as I don’t want to go with this hotel. Then again I got a call from their executive Archana next day she said the hotel is sold out for my travelling date but in reality it is available I have shared the screenshot of hotel availability on yatra’s official website while she was on call after this she said she will check with her seniors and after an hour or two I again got a call from another senior executive Akhil KUMAR Yadav and he again started the tie-up story I have asked then why are you still showing that particular hotel on your official website so he said that this contract is still to be ended in a formal way. In the package they have mentioned that similar category hotel will be provided and I have asked for some other brands like four points by Sheraton then they said they can only provide madhuban hotel only. It’s their fault as they haven’t informed about non availability of hotel lemon tree before payment .Also In case if they were not able to provide lemon tree hotel they could have checked my confirmation for the reservations for hotel madhuban.Instead they have directly sent me the Mail with madhuban hotel Reservations which is not acceptable.So firstly they have not provided reservations for lemon tree .Secondly as per their policies they are not providing me any other good hotel.Thirdly for the refund they have said that the money will not be refunded and cancellation will be done as per their policies.

                                I tried to book a ticket on flight Air India AI - 933, from Delhi to Kochi for 9th of July, departing at 5.10am.
                                I used netbankng with my federal bank account for payment. An amount of Rs. 5258 got deducted, but my ticket did not get booked.
                                The page showed session expired after i made payment.

                                  I had booked an holiday package for Bangkok including flights and our jet airways flight got cancelled. We had asked Yatra to raise a refund request with jet on 27/04/19 . They confirmed that they have raised the same with jet airways. However I was shocked to learn from jet airways that they do not have any refund request against our PNR raised by our agent Yatra. When we asked Yatra to give us details of refund request raised by them, not getting any revert for almost 45 days and they just keep on saying we will respond within 1 day. Completely frustrated and don’t know what to do.

                                      I booked a ticket for my parents to travel from jammu to dehradun.in place of selecting 15 june, i selected 14 june. I want to modify my ticket. Yatra.com is not allowing to modify the date of travel. They told me that you have to cancel the ticket and we will deduct 25%. Since travel date is far ahead, how they can ask for so much high cancellation charges? Why there is no modification facility allowed on yatra.com website? Such a website should be closed.in all the govt tour operator buses, they generally deduct not more than 10% and sometimes even a very nominal charges. We should never use yatra.com for any ticket booing as the company appears to make customer fool. They only want to earn money by making customer fool.

                                      We were in contact with you, as discussed, you confirmed a reservation on 01st June. Before confirmation cancellation policy was shown to you, if you had any concern, that should have been raised before confirmation. Now when you are trying to cancel the booking you can not refer cancellation policy from other portals, we regret, we would not be able to honor the same.

                                      Your cancellation policy is poor.You told me initially that it depends on the bus operator.The same bus operator is charging zero rupees when booking is being done through redbus but your are charging 25%.I have already shared the proof to you and attached here also.When I talked from the bus operator, they are telling we donot decide this .This money yatra.com is putting in his pocket.Thus, yatra.com is doing a fraud with customer.

                                        I booked flight ticket from yatra.com on 28/05/2019 eith reference number[protected] from srinagar to raipur... My amount was deducted but ticket was not booked, and they refunded today on 2/06/2019... Then again i booked the ticket from yatra and amount was deducted again and not booked... Again they say that there was some technical issue... What is this annoying thing they are doing... I am a student i dont have so much money to book whatever i want... I try to book again today and now i jave no money.. They say they will refund afyer 4 days... What am i supposed to do now... This flight was really important to me... I dont have money to book now... These people dont inform about the technical load in their website... And apologize later... They should not be functioning if their server is down... Ask them to shut down their apps and website when its not working properly... I don't know where to go

We would like to inform you that if the fares get increased from the airline end, then the booking will not be confirmed. Fares are dynamic and flexible, it can be increased any time from the airline end. The same information is given to you on the above screenshot.

                                        The refund will come into your same account through which you have made the payment.
