Airline refunded rs. 5430 to yatra
Yatra sent email of refund sent to my account of rs. 2930

I have not received any money so far, there is no clue where is my balance rs. 2500.

I had cancelled another pnr - mjqk8x, sector bangalore to bagdogra
Airline refunded rs. 2810 to yatra
Yatra sent email of refund sent to my account of rs.1792

I have not received any money so far, there is no clue where is my balance rs. 1018.

Kindly guide as to how to get my refund and also full money back from yatra.

    I had booked a return ticket from mumbai to delhi on air india on the 4th of jan 2018 booking ref [protected]. The tickets clearly at (Partially refundable). I chose them due to this statement on the yatra website. I had to reschedule one the mumbai delhi sector for an earlier date and tried to see on the website how much refund would be available in case of reschedule / cancellation but to my surprise it showed a grand total of zero after airline charges, yatra charges, taxes etc.

    Speaking to the helpline for half an hour gave the same result. Even after explaining that the word partial meant some refund.

    This amounts to cheating and misleading the consumer into believing that there may the entire money may not be lost in case of any changes.

    These websites must be made to pay for false and misleading advertising own their portals.

    Airlines Penalty (Per Person Per Sector) - INR 2625.00
    Yatra Service Fee (Per Person Per Sector) - INR 400.00
    Promotion Discount Reversal - INR 900.00

    Nice complaint!
    But the are no sufficien information for objective verification of the public complaint at this site:
    1. No e-ticket attached;
    2. No conditions for e-ticket are attached
    3. A passenger can not reschedule the sector.
    Such transaction can be done as a part of the service of the e-ticket issuer upon request of the passenger.
    4. No complaint is seeen, which you had tried to submit within 30 minutes over th ehone accoting to you.
    So you are advised to address and to submit the complaint for any refund/damage at the site of the eticket issuer / to the email of the eticket/ or in person at the office of the ticket issuer.

    The e-ticket issuer (legal entity) must accept and to examine the complaint, if it legally binding, within 15 days to the address / emai address of the claimant (author) .

    You need to save and to be ready to submit each document related to the damage / luck of service at least 6 months for any future legal claims in local Indian courts.

    Such type of cases can cost you
    - government fees from 2000 rupees
    - legal assiance start from 10000 rupees

    The fair court must award each documentated loss, moral harm and paid fees by final decision (judgement).

      I had been facing a issue regarding my booking in bangalore.
      Tho9ugh the amount has been dedcuted, i did not receive any confirmation from the yatra.

      The worst part is yatra doesnot have any proper working no
      I* had tried all nos. Available on various website but none of them are working

      Also, there are no. Contact no. Given in their app or website to lodge or attend a complaint...
      Very& very poor service.

      I have been really mentally harassesd!!!

        I booked hotel with yatra.com in igatpuri via phone pe and my amount also get deeducted. I received mesaage and trnsaction succesful message from phone pe and my bank account that amount is drducted. But when the payment got succesful i received message saying your bokking is unconfirmed. As my money was succesfully sent to yatra.[protected]@icici.
        Kindly help me into this. I want my refund or else my booking confirmed as soon as possible.

            I made a request for cancellation a booking because by mistake i put wrong origin and destination and even jet airways concerned person is saying that yatra can do this but yatra concerned person is refusing every time, even for same indigo has already send refund on 28 december but yatra has not send it to me.             no piece of the document is produced in the complaint:
            - passenger full name
            - date and place of purchace
            - order number
            - e-ticket number
            - e-ticket restrictions which are written,
            - the agent''s ful name, if any.

            So, such anonymous complaint has no grounds and has no reasons.

            Only the oprator of yatra site and the passenger / tourist can see the excnage of the documents / receipts / invoices / payment orders conditions.
            Nobody has see ypour correspondence in full.

            So, it is impossible to check the validity of your claim and to check the your dispute with operator of yatra site as you had not attached any document (see above) for public and
            you have not produced your written request regarding refund at this site for public.

            After the correction of the errors and the producing of the documents, the legal professinal can advise.

            Realy Very poor service buy yatra till time I am not getting my ARN no. All of these leads to take me towards legal action now I have no other way except to take legal action.

              Missed my flight on december 23 due to false flight timings in e-ticket and false flight timings in online status and had to reschedule myself from dubai to india b4 visa ends. Actual flight timings were dec 23 00:05 hrs but e-tickets and online flight statuses were generated to be dec 23 11:41pm. I called many times to reschedule but no response and later when asked for refund, customer care services fake promises to call back and never responded to anything. No response ever at all in customer care services. I need my refund.

              As checked our team was in contact with since 24th Dec 2018 and requested to kindly share receipt and bank statement for the amount you have paid to Airline on this.

              There is no suficient information:-
              All times have to be stated in 2 documents
              1. the boarding pass
              2. e-ticket, 13 digits
              3. issued flight reservation (usually it shall contant refrence to 6 digit number of the air carrier) .

              Such documents are absent.
              If you do not have the boarding pass, you need to give a good reason with place/time.

              The air carrier or the service provider, which had made a mistake in the e-ticket, has 15 days either
              - to refund or
              - to compensate or
              - to issue the other decsion
              following the receipt of the correct complaint.

              Note, it is usless to request the same subject matter more than 2 times from the same service provider.
              All disputes in 15 days following the correct complaint receipt are subject of the examination by Indian court.
              The expected expences for legal assitance can be:
              -- government fees [200-2500 ruppes ],
              - legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or of legal professional [ from 4000 rupees till 15000 depening upon the complicity and length]

                  This is a cancellation with a full refund as the ticket was never issued and they have charged for the full amount even though the cancellation was made within the periods allowed, they are disgraceful as they only state after that any changes are not allowed, this has happened with this company on several occasions and i wish to dispute all the cancellations as they can not simply cancel a unused item when its not been sent to me, then charge a cancellation fee, they have stated they are willing to do a refund by only via, paypal i wish to cancel all my tickets and arrangements with this company and ask all my payments are returned as they operate from india and the jurisdiction is not something i was aware of, i am a uk customer. I will proceed to book via a uk website once all the cancellation charges and refunded and my costs sent back to my card. Mr singh johal

                  The author can not complaint anything because
                  no piece of the document is produced in the complaint:
                  - passenger full name
                  - the agent''s ful name, if any.
                  - date and place of purchace, banking receipt number+date=time
                  - order number and order desription.

                  So, such anonymous complaint has no grounds and has no reasons.
                  if the author do not know what he/she is entitled for and the procedure od the complaint, the author can hire he laywer or legal professional for the case preparation (from ~5000) + own efforts.
                  The court shall award the fair compensation amount, all reasonable proved losses, related charges by the judgemnt.

                    On 25th December, 2019 I found a deal at the Yatra site that the Chas Sanderling Hotel at Darjeeling is offering their hotel rooms at 98% discount rates in the second week of February. I did not miss the offer and booked the hotel for three days @ 200 INR. Next day, I received a call from the Hotel Group that they have received my booking but they could not accept it because of rate discrepancy and they asked me to contact Yatra. I understood that it was a bug at the Yatra site. I called Yatra and registered a service request 16346621 and 16343423. It has been 7 days I have been getting the same answer from the customer service team that the concerned team is looking into this. They have closed the existing service request and opened up a new one 16389482.

                    But one thing I note is that they have fixed the bug at their website. The website is showing correct rate now which is 3500 INR. But they have not come back with a resolution. They are constantly saying that the issue is highly escalated and the respective team will come back with a resolution soon. They have not cancelled the existing booking and is not letting me know whether I have to pay extra than what I have paid. Every time, the customer service representative is saying that in such case Yatra incurs the losses because it was their website price issue.

                    My question is why would customer suffer because of a website issue. I could have availed offers on another company website like makemytrip or goibibo, which are very reliable. Now that Christmas is gone, I won't be getting any more offers and see how yatra team is dragging me out.

                    If I do not get a resolution within next few days, I am going to write to [protected]@yatra.com. I believe my case is a unique one and Leadership Team will be interested in the same. They might be able to showcase this as an example how beautiful and dedicated Yatra Team is [in case Yatra incurs the loss and pays up the residual hotel rent due to their price discrepancy issue]

                      Dear sir/madam,
                      I tried to book a hotel room in udupi on 24/12/2018 using yatra mobile app.
                      Below are the reference ids.
                      Yatra booking reference number[protected]
                      Treebo booking id : [protected]
                      The mobile app showed me a message as "booking incomplete"
                      So i booked a room physically offline in some other hotel without any app.
                      Later after 30 minutes, i got a confirmation mail from treebo and from yatra that my booking confirmed, i could able to cancel the room from treebo website but my booking amount is not refunded, please refund my money.

                        I booked my tickets on 12-dec-2018, and the yatra website say pnr confirmed and when i called airlines they said your flight is not confirmed and yatra cheated here and did fraud... This is npt a good service these people are providing. The manager called and confirmed as well that your flights are confirmed.. And now they just wasting my time and now i do not need refund i want my ticketa to be confirmed or else i will go for legal action

                          I tried booking a flight via yatra.com and the payment gateway failed the first time. I sredid the payment and it was successful.
                          However, after a while i got the message for deduction for both the payment attempts.
                          I contacted the help center but they said that they have received the payment just once.
                          Yatra, please rectify your flawed payment gateway and refund my 5, 505 amount.

                            I had booked 3 double bed room at treebo el cielo hotel through yatra.com on 10th nov for a booking on 12th jan. On 23rd nov i got a call stating that my accommodation request is cancelled and they want to move my booking to another hotel which is close by. For which i had agreed. New hotel name (Treebo mafroosha). On 25th dec i get another mail saying that my booking is again cancelled and moved to another hotel (Treebo maakam comforts) which is very far from where i had initially booked. This time around there was no communication, just a one liner regarding the cancellation and the change was made without my consent which is totally unacceptable.

                            After a constant effort of reaching out to the Treebo hotel representatives, they have sent me a voucher for Dvaraka inn hotel but the voucher does not have any details of my name or whether it is booked for me or any one else. On what basis is this a confirmation that the property is booked for me on the said dates. The booking in Yatra.com website also is still with El cielo and this has not changed. Can you please have my name in the booking voucher. Based on the series of events that has taken me so long to even get a verbal confirmation on my booking I am highly skeptical if my booking with be honoured and I dont want my guests who are coming for my marriage to be left on the road in the last minute.

                            Attached is the voucher I have received from Treebo.

                            NO my query is not resolved because this is not the hotel that was confirmed to me during my conversation with the treebo representative. I have got a voucher for a hotel which is 15km from my initial booking which is ridiculous. I'm attaching a screen shot of the mail I received which is not the hotel confirmed.
                            The hotel confirmation I got from the representative was dwaraka.
                            This is really slow and pathetic service.

                              I had tried booking flight ticket from kochi to mumbai on december 13, 2018 from the yatra.com website, however the ticket did get booked and the amount of rs.15, 970 /- was deducted from my bank account. I have been chasing the yatra.com support portal for the refund and everytime the customer support official confirms that refund would happen in 5 days. Even after repeated follow-ups there is no refund provided. Disappointed with the kind of service offered and feels like cheated

                              it is impossible to check the complaint objectively as the author had not shown:
                              - the receipt, which shows particulars of the transaction;
                              - any email, which had been received from the service provider - oerator of yatra site.

                              So no any document confirming deducted from te account, is shown.

                              The author is advised to address the complaint with exact request
                              with the reference on the exact transaction for refund either
                              - to the bank - the card issuer or
                              - to he service provider - operator of yatra site.
                              Resaon: no prove of any reservation / service / receipt had receved by bank / by service provider
                              by bank account user.
                              The duty of the bank or of service provider is to issue the decision on refund within 15 days follwoing your complaint, if in India.

                              In 15-21 days, if no refund received, the solution is to start a civil case in a local court only.
                              You need to save as prove:
                              - the receipts, which you own from service provider / bank, which prove the deduction from your account;
                              - any decision / reply which you had received by email to your name, which related to the luck of the services.

                              The expected expences for legal civil matter can be:
                              - government fees [ from 200 or from 2000 ruppes ] + own efforts,
                              - legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or of legal professional [ from !~6000 rupees] + own efforts
                              The fair court shall award all reasonable losses, moral compensation, paid fees by judgement.

                                Hi..

                                I made a booking 14th dec. The pnr was not generated and i tried for a refund. Your back end team called and confirmed that they will process my refund back to my account. Now, the cusomer team is saying they will only refund my money to my ecash account. I dont want any ecash. I want the original money refunded to my debit card account.

                                Yatra is cheating customers by processing the amount to the ecash and forcing the customer to use the site again and again.

                                  We recently chosen yatra (Yh4409812) for international holidays for the new zealand. We have been touch with the company since august. We have already paid the amount of 2, 66000 but we are facing huge penalty since the tour got cancelled for us. They always given false assurance to us that we will get the visa before asking the payment. The visa never got approved. We tried to draw their attention towards the pending status of visa but they were more concerned to serve their interest. I would advise fellow traveller to read the policies of the company and make sure to have your visa approved in order to avoid cancellation charges. It will help you to avoid unnecessary follow up with the management to reimburse your money

                                        Never book any holidays with yatra.com. I booked an international holidays to europe under flavours of europe scheduled on 18 january 2019 and at the nick of time yatra mailed me saying they cannot run the package after payment of full package amount. Such a mental harassment we are facing. I hope they maintain some kind of professionalism and refund my entire amount very very soon as i have no money left even to plan anything.
