I have booked flights from hyderabad to paris and amsterdam to hyderabad on 19 th april and later on next day i found a doubt about name format for which i have placed a request online through mail.later as it was taking time to get call from their side i placed a cancellation of my ticket with booking refrence number[protected] after reading their terms and conditions.in which they said that without cosent of customer they are not going to initiate cancellation of ticket.after some time i got call from their customer care person in which he clarified me about the name format which does not need any changes.so i asked him not to cancel the flight ticket with ref no.[protected].but on 22 april i found an update saying that my flight wit above refno. is cancelled.i spoke to person of them in which he was just saying sorry for that and also he cant do anything for that, also said that it was system fault ...for which i said as per your terms and conditions you should not cancel the ticket without consent of customer, for which he was just saying appology...but i lost 67000 for flight tickets of 2 persons.i asked them as it was their system fault they should return my money or book another ticket for 2 people to same destination.

    I had booked through yatra online private limited bangalore my flight tickets for travel from ccu-bom-paris-dfw (Usa) on 05.05.2019 with a payment of rs.96014.00 to them which they informed on 16.4.19 as being cancelled.

    However, when i asked for refund they are repeatedly emailing the same message as "please be notified that jet airways has temporarily suspended all operations. All jet airways flights have been cancelled. We can help process the cancellation of your booking and due refund shall be initiated only post confirmation from jet airways. We will connect with you as soon as we receive an update from the airline."

    Incidentally, i was forced to re-plan my journey and they did not adjust the refund amount. As such i am also paying interest for the cancelled booking as it was booked with six months emi option.

    Beside that, as my journey is coming closer on 06.5.2019 and they are creating the financial constraints not refunding the money, i have no other option but your intervention to arrange the immediate refund.

    My YATRA REF NUMBER[protected]. Despite my several emails to Team Yatra in past few days you have not responded with any refund confirmation. I am paying an interest for your cancelled booking as it was booked under EMI option. I had to pay Rs. 9000 more for your cancelled booking plan and to make a fresh booking for which you have not adjusted the REFUND amount.

    Therefore, do REFUND my cancelled ticket money paid to you immediately along the excess payment that had to incur for your cancellation.

    "Dear Chittatosh Bhattacharya,

    Thank you for booking with Yatra.com.

    We would like to confirm that the refund of INR 86233.00 due to you, for reference number[protected] was processed on 24-Apr-2019 from Yatra.com to your account. Refunds to e-wallet are processed instantly at the time of cancellation. In case of refund to bank account/credit card, Yatra takes 30 mins to process your refund. Further, the private sector banks may take 2 - 3 working days and public sector banks may take up to 7 working days to refund in your account."

    In this context, please be informed that I have paid Rs.96014.00 on 30.12.2018 along Rs.1800(+GST) on interest payment so far and an excess expenditure of Rs 6700 (approx) for revised flight booking.

    Therefore, you are requested once again to process the payment of original payment balance amount (Rs.96014.00 - Rs. 86233.00) = Rs.9781.00 along the interest paid to you for the EMI mode booking with difference of excess payment that I had to incur for the cancellation.

    Incidentally, You have still now did not cancel the domestic flight segment booking against above booking reference for CCU-BOM and neither arranged the REFUND though I received earlier an email about processing the same..

    I hope you shall do the needful to cancel the domestic segment booking in your website record and arrange the balance REFUND IMMEDIATELY.

    On 16.4.19 at 13.11 hrs your domestic flight service Yatra Team replied the following :

    "Dear Customer,
    Greetings from Yatra.com!
    This is in reference to your query under booking reference number[protected] .
    We would like to inform you that as per our telephonic conversation we have cancel your travel from kolkata to bombay and your refund of INR 8573/- is under process from our end in the same mode of payment through which you have made the booking.

    Kindly note, Yatra takes up to 24 hours to process your refund. Further, private sector banks may take 2-3 working days and public sector banks may take up to 7 working days to credit the amount into your account. In case you do not receive the refund within the above mentioned period, we would request you to please contact your bank to check on the credit.
    Note: Please do not amend the subject line while reply"

    PLEASE NOTE IT IS ALREADY MORE THAN A WEEK and neither there is a REFUND TRANSACTION ID given to me nor the refund is visible in my log in YATRA customer website.

    Jet Airways cancelled Flight No. 9W -610 scheduled on 05 May 2019 for CCU-BOM sector which was part of domestic sector booking with reference to my Booking Ref vide PNR No. MZEKYM

    Therefore, please arrange the refund of the cancelled booking IMMEDIATELY.

    With reference to your communication under booking reference number[protected], I like to express my thanks and acknowledge that I have received a refund of Rs.86233.00, but still now the refund of cancellation of domestic flight CCU BOM of Rs. 8573.00 as communicated by you is not reflected in my Bank account. Neither you have made any communication in this context.

    Therefore, please do the needful to refund the amount along the EMI interest you have taken for this booking.

    Yatra has paid Rs.8573 for the cancelled trip on 6th June 2019. Thanks for the refund and thank you forum for taking care of the issue which was neglected by Yatra.com prior raising the issue through you.

      Wrt yatra reference no[protected] and pnr no eodnqj for jet airways flight (9w819) from kolkata to mumbai on 7th june 2019... Plz let me know whether the jet airways flight be operational.
      If all jet airways flight are cancelled then request you to either give alternate flight for the abive date direct flight in alternate aurline or cancell and guve full refund so that i can book alternate flight booking.
      Do request to refund rs 16245 as jetairways seems to have grounded all their operations.
      So ask yatra/jet to refund total fare or arrange for alternate direct flight booking for same date on 7th june 2019 in liew of above mentioned reason.
      Any i may have to pay extra i i book alternate flight as fares might have increased

      Now the question arises that since alternate booking was not provided in liew of grounded jet airwats flight, I got only the booking amount Rs16245 for 3 persons. So i had to book again flight tickets for same date in which cheapest fare was about Rs3000 more. So who will bear this loss to consumer...yatra or jet airways

        I booked the indigo ticket on-line with yatra for my wife shilpa for 12 jul from delhi-ahemdabad - dubai.
        After mixed up pnr generated the refund process itself has been absurd with the on line site suggesting that zero refund would be granted. The helpline employees are the most disrespectful people and are not wiiling to understand the customer point of view, blatant lies by the staff is just not acceptable. I simply wish for the refund to be processed,

        However the airlines and the aggregator charging a customer more than 50% of the cost of actual travel just for cancelling a ticket is absurd, i wonder if that can be rectified.

          Last friday i purchased 4 train tickets from howrah to katpadi junction. It costed me 2768.60 rupees. But after 20 minutes yatra.com send me an email that they would send me the refund because they couldn't get me these tickets. It has been a time but i didn't get my refund and whenever i checked the status of my refund, it showed me nothing.

            Dear sir/ma'am
            I have proceed for book flight ticket of 5907 rs from bangalore to delhi on 02 april 2019 with yatra.com but due to some technical issue in yatra.com my ticket was not confirmed and my amount debited from my account.
            I have received a message from yatra.com that my amount will be refunded.
            After two days on 04 april i have received message from yatra.com that my amount refunded but till now amount has not credited in my account.
            I have visited in my bank with my yatra reference number but bank says they can't do anything please call to yatra.com

              Samunder Budhwar on 25 march 2019, I was Complaint to Yatra company about my whole refund.
              I have not received any amount from the yatra.com ticket bearing reference no.[YT35249543] booked on 24th FEBRUARY from DELHI to NADI via SINGAPORE round trip for 1. Jet airways has given necessary comments to yatra regarding full refund but I have not taken any refund from yatra I called many times to customer care number but they told me that my refund will be credited in my account till 17th April. But didn't receive money, I called again and then they tell me your money will be credited in your account 24th April. I am contemplating legal actions against this hairchhmaint,

              On 17 april 2019 the Jet airways air carrier declared the supension of their major business.

              Avoid to belive in free support and in the possible refund without own efforts.

              If you have not got the refund / compensation till April 3 2019, you will get it never
              without the effective legal chargable assitance.

                I have booked return flight ticket (In spice jet) for kolkata to hyderabad for 4 adults using yatra.com. Total cost of 4 return tickets were approx 26, 000 rs. I am a high end user of sbi card and my bank has provided me a coupon of 25, 936 rs for yatra. I have used the coupon to book ticket and the rest of the amount (Approx 1936 rs) i have paid via credit card.

                Now on both the occasions spice jet has changed/cancels the flight and provided full refund. The same has been cancelled by yatra customer care. But while providing refund yatra has refunded only 1936 rs (Which was paid using credit card) and giving a logic that coupons can not be refunded. This is nothing but a system of financial fraud. I want to lodge a case of cheating and mental harassment against yatra.com

                My booking reference number in yatra is[protected]. Yatra has confirmed me over email that they have received full refund from airlines.

                My points are simple:
                1. I did not cancel any flight, the airline has cancelled the flight and provided full refund. Then why i will not get the coupon back? And it is a very big amount.

                2. The coupon which i have achieved from my reward points of sbi card was of high value and validity of the coupon was for next six month. Under this case why can not yatra refund me the coupon?

                3. I never never asked for money refund. I have requested give me the same coupon back and i will reuse for another future booking. But after continuous follow up i did not get any response.

                4. Yatra customer care and management has a tendency to fraud. I did not get money back and airlines provided a full refund, then where is that 24, 000 rs gone? It can not be like coupons can not be refunded. This is a clear case of cheating.

                I would appreciate if strict action will be taken against such fraud organizations and i want to get my coupon back. Will appreciate your help and support.

                Hello Consumer Court,

                I have received a call from one of the representative of yatra 2 days ago. He is a complete fraud and trying to buy out time so that my coupon expires. He said on the phone that yatra coupon team number will be shared here and he will send me an email with the details of the conversation.

                Neither they have shared any contact details (number or email) of yatra coupon team. Nor they have sent me any email. They are just trying to play smart and trying to expire my coupon. Strict action should be taken against such fraud company. Particularly the person who has called me has no intention to resolve this issue. He should be sacked with immediate effect.

                @Bunch of jokers of yatra customer care - You have no intention to resolve the issue, you are just trying to kill some more time.

                  Hello,

                  This is regarding an international ticket booking ATL - HYD round trip. This is first time I booked tickets from yatra, and it is very bad experience. Before booking ticket it shown 2Pcs of check-in baggage allowance in both outbound and incoming sectors. But after booking, Yatra sent a ticket with return is having only one piece of baggage. After seeing ticket immediately I tried to reach Yatra customer care online chat for cancelling it. Unfortunately Chat support is only for domestic. They had given me [protected] number to connect telephone customer care. This number never connected from US I Tried multiple times. Next they had given me [protected]@yatra.com mail id, I sent mail with screenshots but they did not reply for email after 24 hours. Next again I connected to Yatra online chat support They said they will arrange call back to my number that is also never happen. Then again I asked them to connect call immediately and we will be continue be online on chat. Then for god sake I got call from yatra They said yes even they can able to see 2 Pcs of baggage for both inbound and outbound sectors, There is some technical issue with system, they said they will resolve it.                     Pls find the confirmation mail for the bus booking schedule on 12th april 2019.. At 8.10pm.. On that day when called the bus provider to know the where about of the bus we were informed that the bus has been cancelled 2days before and the money had been refunded.. On asking why weren't informed prior they said very coolly contact yatra...

                    The service of your team is pathetic as i was not informed about the cancellation nor the money is refunded.. It's showing as scheduled and i m getting mails for feedback.. I was traveling with my senior citizen parents and children and this last minute cancellation has caused lots of mental trauma and inconvenience.. We had already done further booking of resorts and return tickets. We had to leave on 12th. Due to your inefficiency i had to incur additional 4200 and book non ac sitter in national bus service.. Had we we're informed prior i would have done alternate arrangements. The bus service has informed that the money is already refunded then why is it not credited back to my credit card. Moreover i want refund of 4200 also which i had to incur due to your neglegence..
                    We have trusted yatra for his service but this time it was very painful as my parents and children have suffered a lot during the journey.. As it was at last minute we had no choice to take a non ac bus till ratnagiri and then rickshaw further to ganapatipule..

                    Kindly refund my money at the earliest

                      I have booked yatra to celebrate my, my son’s birthday and our marriage anniversary in bali (Reference number yh4885502). Overall experience of booking was horrible but since i have booked no other option. At the time of booking i made it clear that i need extra bed and it was mentioned in the vouchers as well.                       I was cheated by yatra webside and hotel.i booked hotel worth 1747 rupee to Hotel Sharanya near warangal station.
                      when i reached hotel hotel manager straightly denied about hotel booking and say they dont have room.If room was booked how can he denied.or further qurey he said that he gave someone that room and give me room which is non AC and dingy where toilet are not even flushed by month and it is soo dirty that i cannt even taken any pic.that lodge is also distant from that hotel and in middle of night in dirrerent lodge vishnu lodge.
                      I roam for 3 hour just because of yatra.com irresponsibility and carelessness.
                      next day i had an interview and i claim all to yatra.com for giving me mentle torture.I got checkin in different hotel in late 12 night.
                      i need all compensation but how can yatra compensate my mentle torture in midnight.
                      when i asked hotel person to give me recipt or somethig they just straight denied and misbehave with me.
                      Yatra.com Have to take resposibility for that.
                      I also attached the misbehavior video of hotel person when i asked for BILL or any document which i can show.

                          If bus operator cancels the ticket and informs on the day of journey
                          Then should operator refund us the amount more than the booked amount?
                          Because if we cancel the ticket we have to bear the cancellation
                          Charges, then why should not operators? As passengers have to re-book
                          The tickets for the journey which is cancelled by an operator & it may
                          Involve several difficulties & problems like unavailability of tickets
                          Or hiked prices.

                          Same happened with me, operator informed me at 15:51 on 3rd of april
                          2019 however my journey was scheduled at 19:45 same day. I have
                          Attached the screenshot of messages received from operator ie
                          Kaveri travels.

So, it means the grieved & troubled customer has to re-book the tickets & together with that customer has to write emails for the refund of their own money. Will it called a torture by yatra's people?
                          Inspite of refunding the amount as soon as possible for the cancellation done by operator, he is asking for another email for another ticket. There is no value of customers' time.

                          After 7 days he responded towards my email and he wants further 7 days for the credit of refund into my account. Should such type of companies exist in our nation who know only to exploit their customers?

Why they are taking a long time? I think they are more interested in earning the interest through the money of innocent passengers.

                          Today is 20th April 2019 but I haven't received my money back. Yatra is such a careless organization which doesnot think about its customers' loss because of their faults. Ticket was cancelled by the operator on 3rd April, I received the information on the same day of journey & still waiting for the money of my cancelled ticket. Government should stop such organizations to operate in India & customers should stop their service to tell them the power of customers.
                          As per you refund processing has started on 04.04.2019 & it will take 7 days (for public sector banks) to be credited into my account.

                          So Should I calculate 7 days after 04.04.2019?
                          It should have refunded till 11.04.2019 but still I am waiting for my money to be refunded.
                          Would you like to clarify for the delay beyong u days?

                                  I have not received any support regarding the jet airways cancelled ticket bearing reference no.[protected] booked on 15th march from guwahati to mumbai round trip for 2. Jet airways has given necessary comments to yatra regarding full refund but your company is showing a paltry sum of 2168 instead of 25000 refund.                                   I have not received any support regarding the jet airways cancelled ticket bearing reference no[protected] from Chandigarh to London round trip. I have received an email from Jet airways that the return flight from London to Chandigarh has been cancelled. Jet airways has also given necessary comments to yatra regarding full refund.

                                  I have tried to call yatra customer service several times with no luck. Could you please process the refund for the return flight so i can make alternative arrangements.

                                    Hi,

                                    This is in regard to the bus cancellation refund not provided by yatra.com. The traveller cancels the bus trip a few hours before the trip with the excuse of non availability of driver for holi. Also, after the cancellation the bus fare has not been refunded and we had to go through a lot chain mails to ask for refund still no use.

                                    Full description of the incident: after booking the bus seats at yatra and getting confirmation tickets we get the call from bus operator that the bus has been canceled due to non availability of driver because of holi. When we asked for refund he said it will be provided by the site after 3 days due to holi. However there had been no response from the site and we had to connect with the site for our refund and still no luck.

                                      I booked a indigo flight ticket from new delhi to guwahati and a amount of rs. 4264 is deducted from my account and no flight information or flight ticket has been sent by yatra.com. I have paid the money from google pay app and i have all the details of my transaction details the google transaction id and the upi transaction id and it's payment is showing to yatra online private limited (Yatra tez payment).
