I took an International trip with Yatra in the month of December. I paid as per their package including visa fees and all. However at the time of visa application I had to pay the fees instead of them. Therefore a refund of that visa fees is pending since then. I have sent numerous emails to the agent of Yatra and also their head but no reply from their end. Also there were some services which I didn't get while on the tour but which were charged to me in the package. No reply from Yatra. Pathetic service from their end.

    I was searching for some flights and contiued till th passenger details page. after visiting for 2 times to the page, my ecash is reduced to rs300, though i havent booked any flight yet and i ecash account summary its showing ecash redemeed in booking no.xxxxx -rs250. refund my ecash, this is pure cheating and unethical ways of earning money, i will never use this site again and tell everyone to not use it if my money is not refunded

      Payment stuck and money deducted

      I think yatra.com is fooling its customers. I did a transaction with yatra on a Saturday, transaction was stuck and amount was deducted. Yatra official said they have not received the amount and will process the request once they receive it. And this is an issue with the bank. I thought maybe they are right. They received the amount on Monday, by then the air fare was increased and i had to pay extra for that. While doing thia transaction...

      We had booked for Andaman trip on 9th Dec 2016. This tour was cancelled due to Vardah Cyclone which hit the place on 7th Dec 2016.

      We were promised about the refund within 15 days of the total tour amount of Rs 74000.

      However, after many follow ups we received a partial payment of Rs 39, 778/- on 25th Jan 2017 (refund email from Jaya [protected]@yatra)

      As per a new email from [protected]@yatra.com on 11th Jan 17, they assured us that balance amount will be refunded within 15 days from 11th Jan 2017.
      Its going to be 2 months now and no response from the yatra team yet after sending reminders.

      We have been following up on emails with below email ID since Jan 24th, 2017 and have personally visited their Koramangla office as well.

          Madam/ Sir,
          This is regarding a trip to South Africa; booking ID – YH2950184. We had paid the booking amount. There was a sudden death in our family due to which we were out of station for about 2 wks in January 2017. We were in too much distress at the time to consider speaking to you about the vacation.
          However, on our return we found that our trip had been cancelled at your end. The email regarding cancellations was furnished the same day you cancelled our trip- 23.01. 17. The reason mentioned being lack of further payment.
          Had we received an e- mail regarding the deadline for payment, we would have done it in time. Also, NOC from my employer was available before 23.01.17.
          I am extremely disturbed by your handling of the case. You have been sending mails regularly about the trip, then why no reminder mails regarding payment due- date, which is far more important. This is extremely unprofessional.
          Also, autocancellation of the trip was made at your end and not from customer end but no refund has been made so far. Expecting a reply at the earliest…

            In november 2016, i booked a europe tour with yatra.com that was to commence in february 2017 with a booking amount of inr 2, 25, 000. Unfortunately, my schengan visa was rejected by swiss authorities due to lack of some documents. The documents were not collected properly by yatra.com. Further more, on the context of the terms and conditions that yatra.com made me to sign, they charged more than 50% of the tour cost as cancellation charges. It amounts to more than inr 1, 25, 000. Also, i asked them for the proofs where in they can justify if they have borne the same as the cancellation charges. Despite of sending more than a dozen emails, there are no replies on that. Any help in this regards would be great!
            I am ok with the cancellation charges if yatra.com is able to prove that.

              My bus pnr number was TS-ABB42755085GOK, i am very very streesed because of sai travels who made me run for nothing, i came with my booking to Rajesh and he said your bus is cancelld, and he wanted to give me normal bus but i had booked sleepr but he said no you have to go on this only, at the night i am helpless cant do anything.stupid system, very very upset and i reccomened everyone on this site that DO NOT BOOK YOUR JOURNEY FROM THIS SITE, ALL OF THEM ARE Fraud AND they were fughting with me when i said that i want to go on my bus only, i am writing this while sitting on the bus, so i strongly recommend you that please please do not travel through this site, they all are same and i saw it, they will put you in an other bus but they will sell your seats to others, beleive me.i am very very upset with this and remember SAI TRAVEL IS BIG FRAUD.

                Regarding my flight tickets purchased from u with ref no[protected]

                I was very sorry to say I had worst experience in Yatra as I trusted Yatra from past 10 years I was regular purchase of flight tickets and holidays never use to check back .But one of my Frd said that the price is much higher so checked it and called Yatra and informed that imm after my payment they said I will get difference amount as cash . What will I do that ecash of life time validation when I can use only 5% or 1000 .there was 15000 diffencce in price sent yatra screenshots of that also It show that yatra cheated me from past ten years Do u think customer like me trusted from past 10 years purchase or recommend yatra any more .BEcouse of ecash we will purchase any thing again . As I had paid u complete amount u say nothing is quarantined.I know well with mail u may least bother but still want to say so mailing u as u said price quarantee and trust .

                What is This really cnt undustand is that yatra till want want to me chested with there yatra ecash saying that 5% will be redeemed when price is almost 25% more than that means that they want me to be still stape goat of them as I was from 10 years

                  On 13th Feb'17 I did one transaction of Rs. 4800 from my ICICI S/B account. But I did not get any confirmation from Yatra.com or ICICI. I followed up with Yatra.com and I was told through mail that they are processing the refund and promised that it will be refunded within 5-7 days of the transaction date. However till today I did not get any refund although I am following up on daily basis. They gave me reference ID and with that ID I am pursuing with my ICICI bank too, however they are also not supporting.
                  It seems that the corporates play down the customers when it is a matter of refund and there is lack of transparency. I think now that without your support or intervention, refund would be a very difficult task.
                  Kindly guide me and extend your kind help in this matter.

                    I have book hotel in Daman Booking ref no #[protected]. Hotel Silver Sand Beach Resort. The hotel is not taking any booking from Yatra since past one month but it's still reflecting on the website. I spoke to Asma first on 16th Feb, 2017 informing her about the situation she said the situation is been resolved and I will get the booking. The next day I contacted the hotel they are still not taking the booking. I called Yatra again this time horrible rep Rajni Sharma is handling the situation and not providing any resolution only delaying since morning. I need this to be resolve before I take this to consumer court

                      I have booked one flight with yatra.com. I have not travelled on that flight due to some unavoidable Circumstances. I have applied one coupon while booking that flight, that was worth Rs1000.

                      So here is the point. Firstly I called the airlines and they told me for the Jet Airways these Yatra people have to change the status to the No Show. I called them 3 times and they told me no refund from the Jet Airways. I took the Airline person on call with them then they got to know that they have to do something and they told me thy will charge 100 Rs per sector. I am not yet sure they have processed the same or not. The Airline is refunding Rs 820.

                      Secondly with the Indigo, which you have to claim online. They are refunding Rs. 715 and I have set that to claim on their website.

                      These amounts will be sent to Yatra that amounts to 1535 . Now what these people are saying they will deduct 1200 as I have used coupon. Sersiously, thats no show charges and you are already charging Rs 100 per sector. if I would have travelled then it would have been no business to them not even single penny. I was not able to travel due to health issues. If I would not have claimed the No show charges then also they would have got nothing. Now if I am claiming they are saying they will revert and charge 1000 Rs out of refund.

                      If they are not able to Justify their this action I would not mind to file the Physical PIL for the scam they are trying to do. As Airlines will refund the amount I want them to refund my amount without charging1000.

                          We booked four rooms in a hotei ’Bheigo’ (Imphal, Manipur) through Yatra.Com for four days (from 18.10.2016 to 21.10.2016) at the cost of Rs. 24, 000/-. Rooms were booked through on-line. We reached Silchar Station (Assam) 0n 16.10 2016 afternoon. At that moment, we have come to know that a strike was declared by a group of people in Manipur and for this reason, we could not reach Imphal from Silchar in schedule dates. The matter was informed over telephone several times to both Hotel Manager and Yatra.Com. They informed us that 50% of the total booking amount (i.e. Rs. 12, 000/-) will be refunded. But it is unfortunate that even after continuous request, we failed to back any amount.
                          Under above circumstances, it can be undoubtedly said that they are reluctant to refund the said amount and their standard or quality is very bad. This is the characteristic feature of such a travel company as well as Hotel Manager. Virtually, they have cheated with us by not refunding the above-mentioned amount. They do not obey a set of rules and regulations which they must be obeying . It is assumed that similar behaviour is also imposed on other tourists in the same way. We are requesting to all tourists not to get into a trap in future if you want to enjoy your holiday.

                            I opted a honeymoon package from your Yatra.com from 6th to 12th January 2017.
                            All together it was a irritating time for me. What it should have been a memorable experience was unlikely a bad experience for me.
                            I faced many problems during the journey and your consultants have misguided me in many instances.

                            I'm pointing out all that I have experienced during the 6days one by one.

                            1. I booked a package with your consultant Mr. Harshit kaushisk on 4th January. As a consultant of your esteemed company, he must be knowing that Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. Unfortunately knowingly or unknowingly he booked for Agra Taj visit on 6th ie Friday.

                            2. Then later my package was handled by anamika chakraborty (contact no. [protected]). Mr. Harshit booked a hotel called ashiana in Delhi which is a 4* hotel as he had mentioned in the itenary.
                            But it was very irritating for me after seeing the hotel rooms which is not even of 2*category.
                            Than I contacted your consultants immediately and finally call was handed our to anamika. She started giving options like she offered a one day sight seeing in Delhi to compensate for the hotel they had booked. But I agreed for food arrangement for afternoon and night on 6th and accommodation on 12th as i will be reaching Delhi early morning 6am and my flight was evening 6.45.


                            3. Madam X (unknown lady with contact no. [protected]) called me and gave the contact nos of the transportation in Delhi and manali.
                            She was hesitant to tell her name even after asking many times.

                            4. Mr. Naresh thakur (contact no. [protected])was the transport agent in manali called me on 7th night before I get in to the Volvo bus and told that I have make a private cab from kulu to manali as there is a heavy snow in manali and Volvo buses can't reach manali. Instead of he arranging a cab for me from kulu to manali he asked me to do that and also to pay for them. He promised me that the amount paid will be given back to me. So I made a taxi from kulu to manali and paid 1400rs. The journey was horrible and restless. I reached manali by 8pm on 8th Jan after 8-9hr journey.

                            5. The cab driver allotted by naresh thakur for our site seeing in manali. He used to come late everyday and was missing some places. On last day he came by 12pm though we called him to come by 10.30 as we were about to do some shopping in manali road. He was suppose to take us to hadimba temple which didn't happened because we need to board the Volvo bus by 3.30pm.

                            6. The cab driver even demanded money from us to drop to the Volvo point but we didn't pay.

                            7. The Volvo booked while going to Delhi was not in good condition and it was agian a horrible experience for us going back to Delhi.

                            8. At last I myself booked a room in Delhi on 12th early morning 6.30 by paying 1500rs from my pocket, which was suppose to be covered in the package according to the suggestion given by anamika.

                            9. I tried several times to contact anamika through her direct contact no. but was not able to come in contact and others like Mr. Karthik and Mr. Vivek were kept me in confusion and trouble.


                            AlsoI have sent emails to the concerned persons many times, for which I didn't get any reply back which shows the kind of attitude from the yatra consultants and the chief business officer.

                                I booked a package to goa YH3143219 and i was told to pay the booking amount Rs 15000 and rest after 10 days.As soon as i paid the booking amount i received a mail from yatra that i have to make the entire payment in 2 days or the booking shall be cancelled.I paid the complete amount and then it started.Yatra.com team stopped replying me and stopped taking my calls.Miss kimmi malhotra was our concerned executive who is so irresponsible whenever i called her they always said she was not available.The hotel was la gulls court and after 5-6 days i called yatra for the complete iternary and i got to know that hotel la gulls was cancelled and we were not even informed.We were given an alternative and they said we will have to pay more for alternatives.Finally we found the river palace goa which was decent and did not require any extra payment. We finalised that hotel and mailed Miss Kimmi to send us the confirmation on 30th January 2017.We did not receive any confirmation till 3rd february and we decided to call them again as trip was scheduled on 11 Feb 2017.To our surprise we again received the same response that the hotel could not be booked and we were not even informed about the same.We would have never known that the hotel wasnt bokked if we hadnt called yatra on 3rd february.Now they have again given me 3 pathetic properties which are not worth staying and they are asking me to choose one of them.This website is simply making a fool of peoples time and money and they have no intention of making any bookings.We dont have any detials till now and our trip will begin on 11 feb.I have spoken to 10 different executives by now and i still dont have a response.
                                i am taking this case to consumer forum today itself if i dont receive a reply and it is a suggestion for everyone to be careful while booking on this website because they are fake.
                                I have attached a screenshot which was the last mail that i received from yatra and from 30 jan till 3 feb they showed no courtsey to inform us that they have not done the booking.

                                      I booked domestic flight tickets on yatra for the sole reason that i would get offer of Rs.1000 or so as the Coupon Code FLY2017 said that a new user would get for a minimum booking of Rs.3000 ...

                                      I was eligible for this offer but when i applied the coupon code, the website was non-responsive so i went ahead with the transaction and mailed the support team later so that they can do the needful .. But they are lying to me on the face saying that i have NOT APPLIED the Code

                                      A whole new way to scam customers by lying about promotional offers. I need my offer to get validated !! Do the right thing or i will take the matter further on social media and so on
