A totally third grade, lousy service from both Yatra and Sai Holidays. Both are fraud organisations and are experts in cheating their customers.
I am now going to take it to the consumer court and will put up a blog educating other innocent customers to be very careful of both these organisations..

Happy to discuss on the loss I incurred and the amount of dissatisfaction with both these fraud companies..

Because of Yatra and Sai Holidays i incurred a loss of 2000 INR in Srinagar, 6000 INR in Sonmarg and 2000 INR in Pahalgam.

    I booked a package from yatra for thailand. I had a horrible experience altogether with yatra, not to forget because of how my agent handled the booking.
    1. My VISA could not be processed from INDIA itself. I called up my agent to schedule a pickup for VISA documents which was done comfortably but After he received my documents and that too just before 4 days from the trip he had the guts to say my visa could not be processed now. He did not have the sense to let me know beforehand only that if i submit my documents after a particular day my VISA would not be processed then. He even ensured me when i scheduled the pickup that he will try to get it done till 14th december!!I had to go for visa on arrival which costed me 2000 BAHT for 2 people. He still had the audacity to argue with me over that even when he had not informed me correctly.
    2. I had booked a tour for phi phi island also which was initially not mentioned in the package confirmation voucher that he gave me. I HAD TO REMIND HIM TO PUT IT THERE OR ELSE MY INCLUSION WOULD HAVE GONE WASTE
    3. After the VISA problem, he said that my hotels had been upgraded. After reaching thailand i came to know that the hotels that i was offerred were actually downgraded from what i was offered previously. I WAS TOLD EARLIER WHEN I ASKED TO CHANGE MY HOTELS MYSELF THAT MY HOTELS HAD BEEN "RE-CONFIRMED" AND THEY CANT BE CHANGED NOW, THEN HOW COULD THEY DOWNGRADE MY HOTELS FROM SUPERIOR TO STANDARD ALL OF A SUDDEN. I had a beach resort earlier with superior garden rooms and later the hotel that i was given that too with standard rooms had room size that was so highly uncomfortable. Changing hotels 3 days prior to the trip...seriously!!!
    4. The tour timing in bangkok were changed without any notice due to which we had to wait for 2 hours.
    5. When i was checking out from the bangkok hotel, to my utter surprise I WAS CHARGED A LATE CHECK-OUT FEE of 1600 BAHT, because according to the voucher that i was provided, we had bookings till 25th december, 2016 but according to the hotel records we had our booking till 24thdecember, 2016 and since we were checking out at 4:00pm on 24th, we were being charged late checkout fee which was clearly all my agent, s fault again because he provided me with wrong package details all along.
    5. When all this happened, The local agent that i was given in thailand told me on call that i should pay the late checkou fee as of now and he had talked to people in India and i will get back my refund in India which HAS NOT HAPPENED TILL NOW.
    6. When i called my agent regarding this after coming back, he as usual was not ready to accept his mistake. I called him so many times for 2 weeks to talk to his manager but he always had some excuse. Whenever he said he would call me back HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK EVER. ONLY I HAD TO RING HIM ALWAYS.
    He never called back..never responded for any email..did not process my booking properly..he never had proper answer to any of my queries. I dont know why he was hired in the first place when he does not know how to do his job.
    7. Till date i am trying to talk to the managment but they are not evn ready to accpt their employee's mistake.
    I need my refund of 1600+2000=3600 BAHT that i had to spend and waste because of that fellow. Cut it from his pocket or whatever because it was always his carelessness and irresponsible behaviour that costed me so much.

    Don't book tickets from Yatra instead go with Make My Trip or Goibibo. These mother[censored]ers ate my hard earned 12000 rupees. Their customer service is the worst service. Nobody responses properly.

      Respected sir,
      Iam SUMATHI from chennai, on 17th Feb I booked a ticket through yatra from my SB account. The actual amt is 3550/-
      On 15th march I cancelled this booking and I received a refund confirmation message from yatra on 8th April 2017.
      After the deduction the actual amount to be refunded is 1025/- but till now the refund amount has not been credited into my a/c. I kindly request to look into this issue and clear the problem.

        Hi,
        I made booking for my parents traveling to Los Angeles from Bangalore on 7th May from Saudi Airline with (Ref[protected]. While doing the booking, name of father was mistakenly mention as RAFIQUE instead of REFIQUE as present in passport. While making the booking, I have shared the passport copy also post which they shared me a mail and asked to check all detail before making the booking, although I checked all itinerary detail but didn't bother to check spelling of my passport because I never thought that yatra representative will do mistake post sharing the copy. Now I am constantly following with Yatra and requesting to change the spelling of my father in tkt and confirm on immediate basis but they didn't bother to response to my mail.

        I contact airline authority but they told that its a mistake from Yatra and advice to approach us directly. I called their customer care and contact the agent who book the tkt, but they instantly asked to cancel the tkt and re-book without acknowledging their mistake. Cancelling cost per tkt is Rs 9500 + Fare difference is close to 50K because I made this booking in Mar-20th 2017 and today fare is much higher then this.

        Seek your intervention for advising Yatra to acknowledge their mistake and re-issue the tkt.

        If required, I can shared passport detail and all relevant communication between myself and yatra.

        Hi,
        Special remarks in PNR won't suffice the purpose. This I have made on last Friday (21st Apr-17) when I visited Saudi Airline Bangalore office and they have added special remark in PNR.

        Problem is with USA immigration as they might create trouble due to the mis-match between Passport/Visa name and Airline tkt name. Plz understand that my parents are elderly people and they might not be able to take the pain o[censored]SA immigration interrogation and being Muslim and traveling to USA, we need to take double precaution.

        Request you not to take any chances and advice airline authority to change the name in Tkt or issue fresh tkt. I have taken legal opinion from our legal adviser in India and US as-well and no one is suggesting to take any chances under current circumstances.

        Kindly revert on urgent basis. (enclosing passport copy of my parents which I have shared with yatra online booking team before issuing the tkt.)

          Why yatra.com time schedule change because i will need to reach my place 12th may morning. I need most urgently appointment there, so please do not change my schedule and give as it is time to reach dar es salaam.

          Hear is my return ticket time 16.40 to 20.15 mumbai to nerobi (Kenya) date 11/05/17, but nerobi 23.55 (12/05/17) to dar es salaam 01.25 (13/05/17) it meens nerobi 28hrs hold. So please look this mette and please request to you to consider his matter.

            This is the mail i addressed to yatra -

            I had booked a return ticket to bangalore-goa, onward travel being on 31st midnight and return on 5th early morning, for my son, ashwin r prabhu through your website. The pnr number being omb03q. While booking the ticket you had given me 4 uber promo codes worth rs.1000/-. I had applied flycab while booking the ticket as per the offer on your website.

            You had mentioned that the uber rides would be activated 24 hours before the journey ie. On 31st march. When i tried to activate the same on 31st march, i was getting an error message and spoke to one of your executives ms sonia chawla. She asked me to send a screen shot of the error message. After checking the error she said that there was some technical issue, and it would get resolved within 48 hours. Please note that till date that error has not been resolved. I was not able to use the coupons for paying uber to and from the airport. Please note that i paid more than rs.1000/- for each journey. If i was able to use these coupons, i would have saved a lot of money. When i have tried to call you on your toll free numbers, the messages are all automated and no option is taking me to speak to a customer care executive. When i tried dialing the local number in bangalore[protected], the message that i am receiving is that all incoming calls to the said number are barred.
            I don't see what benefit i got from booking the ticket through your website. This is the first time i was using yatra, and i am thoroughly disappointed. The offer is valid only for thirty days and cannot be redeemed in part. I don't travel long distances in bangalore. The uber promo would have helped me while travelling to and from the airport.
            I have written a mail to support, feedback and one of their officials but there is not response from the company. Even an online complaint regarding the same issue has not been resolved

            Please look into the matter and revert to me. I am attaching the screenshot again for your reference.

              Hi.

              I have booked a flight from Mumbai to Jaipur for 15th April'17 from Yatra Online site. The booking reference number is[protected] and i booked the flight on 26th March'17. After paying Rs. 3068/-, i got the mail from yatra about the confirmation of the ticket and along with the PNR value as "OEPORT".

              Then suddenly on 9th April'17 i got the mail that my booking was not confirmed and that they are trying to reach me on my number([protected]) but it was not available. The number they were calling was my old number so i changed my number to [protected] on the yatra profile so that they could contact me on my new number. Also in the mail they only mentioned the reference number and not the flight details.

              So my complaint is regarding following points:
              1. 14 days after my booking yatra contacted me saying that my booking is not confirmed. When i contacted yatra.com customer support, they mentioned that Yatra executive get dynamic rates and sometimes ticket doesnt get confirmed due to changing rates. But the point is they knew on 26th March itself that the ticked was not confirmed then why have they waited 14 days to tell me that my ticket is not confirmed?? They contacted me on 9th April which is just 6 days before my flight, i think it is there scheme to get more money from the passengers!!
              2. The mail in which they mentioned that my ticket is not confirmed, they only mentioned the reference number and nothing about the flight details. After 14 days, nobody remembers the reference number. They should mentioned reference number and the flight details together in the mail for the better knowledge of the passenger. I think it is there Ponzi Scheme to give less information to the passengers.
              3. The mail in which they mentioned that my ticket is not confirmed, they mentioned that they could not reach my phone. Since the number was wrong in my Yatra profile, i changed my number at that instant so that they could call me on my new number. But no they were still calling me on my old number. When i talked to the Yatra customer service person, he said mobile number is as per what is mentioned at the time of booking. I accept the number at the time of booking is wrong. But they could have asked for the new number in the mail itself or they could have taken my new number from my Yatra profile. Since they manage dynamic fares they could easily manage dynamic numbers of customers as well!!!

              Like i said before why have you responded back to me after 14 days?? Why haven't you told me at that time itself. Also why don't you mention flight details also in the mail along with reference number??

              You mailed without any proper details so i didn't contacted you because i didn't know what it for. I roam around a lot because of my work so i book a lot of tickets and could not remember each and every reference number. There is no reasoning in your mail about why you guys responded so late. Explain me that. If you can't, then it would explain what kind of service you are giving to your customers.

                I have paid two thousand rupees more than the actual amount as the quotation from yatra.com was wrong. Later i found it and asked them for refund. Almost 2 months are passed now but still the money is not refunded to my account.

                  Yatra does a push notification telling they provide lots of ecash and advertise. But they do not say it upfront telling ecash can only partly can be redeemed each time. Why don't they send the terms and conditions too in push notification and mention specifically that a person cannot redeem 100% ecash upright along with the push notification. Why hide it under terms and conditions which people seldom read. This is a clear case of duping customers with freebies which customers cannot use. Pathetic marketing just for money. Thoooo.

                  But why cant you mention it along with your push notification telling "Ecash cannot be redeemed at one shot. Please read our Terms and Conditions" this is what is my complaint. Just luring customers by promising ecash( sounds like cash or cashback) and then mentioning we have our terms and conditions is not correct. Mention it in your push notifications explicitly about the negtives of ecash. If you cannot do this, you are cheating customers

                    We have booked 3 tickets on 14th march at around 00.32 from kolkata to chennai through indigo flight 6e-3326
                    For 30th april 2017, got message from yatra through sms in phone that yatra has not received a response from your bank for booking reference number[protected].
                    Another sms from yatra.com said to check the booking status at https://goo.gl/mcwato.
                    According to booking status - your first attempt for the payment of rs. 13, 073 done at 14/04/2017, 00:32 hrs was successful, but unfortunately the airline is taking time to respond. Rest assured, your money is safe with us.in case we fail to book the ticket (S), your money will be refunded to the card/account used for transaction.
                    Please take a note that i have got sms from boi debit card my transaction is completed that rs 13073 has been debited to your account no. From pos on 14/04/2017 but i did't get ticket.
                    So please arrange to send me the e-tickets to my email address: [protected]@gmail.com. My contact no. Is [protected] or refund my full money back.

                      Yatra.com is an absolute fraudster, before booking, the fact that only 5% of ecash amount could be redeemable per transaction was never mentioned. It was only when i looked into the faqs after booking i found it. I have worked very hard to earn all this money, and i thought by today's offer (100% ecash) i would be able to get my next flight much cheaper, but i was absolutely shocked when i could redeem only 200 rs.)

                      I sincerely request yatra.com to let me use the entire ecash on my next booking, since it was their fault to not mention the fact clearly. They have hidden important information, which is a crime in business terms.

                      Also, the sale was just for 1 hour, thus couldn't have time to read about all the background information, which otherwise is not directly visible.!!

                        I have really not thought that the response of Yatra will be too lethargic. When I previously complaint then got a call from Ravi Teja and he said now I coordinate for all your problem and keep in in the loop for all future correspondence but no affirmative.
                        I still yet to know how to pay my remaining amount and in my package visa was part of the package even though I took a hit because of yatra team not timely responded and ready to take on arrival visa by paying additional amount but no guidance which I asked that what all documents I need to carry for on arrival visa.                           Never ever trust yatra
                          I wrongly trusted yatra and made a hotel booking for my trip where i paid the entire amount upfront (Rs 21158/-) and received a confirmed hotel booking voucher. My yatra refer no is[protected]
                          They are totally unprofessional and a customer unfriendly organisation
                          They send me a hotel voucher with "confirmed" hotel booking mentioned in it - take entire money upfront and sit on it for more than 3 weeks and then suddenly unceremoniously and without hint of regret or apology at the immense inconvenience, harassment and financial loss caused to the customer due to their gross incompetence, they cancel the booking unilaterally and initiate refund for money charged.
                          All the customer desired was peace of mind and the assurance of secure booking based on which he made his travel plans
                          There is no attempt at assuaging the aggrieved customer whose travel plans have been severely and adversely affected at this totally unprofessional manner of yatra
                          I appeal to all customers never to trust this company and to blacklist it.
                          1) the voucher sent on the day i made my booking on 17th march 2017 where it is clearly mentioned confirmed
                          2) and the message i suddenly received after more than three weeks (12 th april) that they are cancelling my "confirmed" booking as no room is available at the hotel on those days
                          3) and trusting yatra i had booked my air tickets once i got my hotel confirmation for those dates from yatra

                          Now who is responsible for this gross incompetence???

                            Yatra.com, took money from my booking and said room is confirmed . And immediately they called back and said its Cancelled and my Money will be returned in 15 days. And its not at all a small amount.

                            They never even try to help us by telling that since they could notget my preferred hotel, they will try to get in similar hotels. They just cancelled without even our consent.

                            I will never suggest Yatra.com to anyone. Still now my money has reached me back.

                                Summary :
                                o I trusted and booked though Yatra booking reference :[protected], Hotel confirmation number : YATA[protected], But Yatra.com has totally failed to confirm the booking with Krishna Palace
                                o It is the option given by Yatra to book in Claresta, hosur . I didn’t even know such hotel existed. And they promised the alternate booking there.. but that is also not confirmed
                                o Totally un professional behavior by Yatra Employees ( Aditi and Sandeep) by giving wrong promises and mis-communication
                                o I have lost peace of mind on my well-earned vacation and made my family stand on the roads for more than 3 hrs.
                                o I ended up Paying RS. 5105 instead just paying Rs. 1505 /- of none of my mistake.
                                o Till today I did not receive any payment from yatra
                                It was such a worst experience with Yatra. Com on April 7th . There is no commitment on the booking. And there were lot of false promises made and totally unprofessional way of handling the customer which resulted in loss of money and suffering for entire family. Please read through the sequence of events to understand the issue better and how myself and family have suffered because of YATRA.com

                                • Have booked a stay for one night ( for April 7th) in Hosur though Yatra.com ( Booking refernce :[protected], when I tried booking on April 6th I had a challenge with payment I have received a call within few minutes, I was impressed with prompt call. Some one helped me to complete the booking and received the booking confirmation as well in few minutes. Everything was going fine till then.

                                • On 7th Evening, after a very tiring day, I went to the hotel I booked ( Sri Krishna Palace Business Hotel, Hosur ), at evening 7.45 PM . To my surprise, hotel management told me that there is no booking made for me by Yatra and they did not get any confirmation . I tried calling Yatra Help line, it took 20 minutes to get connected to an Executive ( Aditi), I explained to her about my situation, She requested me to give the phone to the Hotel person. She talked to them, nothing worked out. In between she cut the line, I had to dial again and wait for 20 minutes to get connected ( Thanks to IVR). After spending nearly an hour in the hotel they said they do not have room to accommodate us.

                                • Then Ms. Aditi Gave an option, she said she has booked an alternate hotel “ Claresta Hotels “ . I asked multiple times about the confirmation . She told me that she has spoken to claresta and will also send a confirmation to my Mail ID and SMS. Unfortunately I did not get any SMS or Mail .

                                • I reached Claresta around 9.15 PM. Again a big surprise, Manager in Claresta also said ( Mr.Subham) they did not get any confirmation from Yatra and NO ROOMS were booked on our name . He said he can give us the room but they need a voucher from Yatra . Again I called Yatra Help line, She came online after 20 minutes and said, she has already sent the mail to hotel. But hotel mail box did not have the mails. Drama continued there also, she asked me to give the phone to hotel manager.. she talked to them and promised them that she will sent the voucher in 10 minutes, based on that confirmation, they gave me the room . I thought things are settled.

                                • I got a call at 11.30 PM from the hotel manager, he informed me that he did not receive any voucher from Yatra, and I have to pay the total bill. And the new hotel cost is much higher than what I booked initially. I tried calling Yatra help line Again . Unfortunately it was a totally new guy ( Sandeep) who talked ( Aditi disappeared and refused to come online) . Now the tone is totally different, he said the cost of the new hotel is high ( Rs. 3545/-), so he can’t send the voucher and asked me to pay from my pocket, and Yatra will return the payment I made for Rs. 1505 and additional Rs.1000/-, rest of the money has to be paid from my pocket . I had conversation till mid night, the guy ( Sandeep) did not listen or understand what I was talking, he was keep on saying the same thing, my points were

                                I would like to hear from Yatra.com.. How are they going to pay the money for two hotels I paid ? and how will you compensate the spoilt vacation ??? it was such a Worst experience with Yatra.com . Please guide me how do I take I to consumer rights .

                                    I traveled to Thailand on 10th of February 2017. I did flight bookings via Yatra.com. Prior to my travel I got email from Yatra regarding flight schedule change. Flight from Phuket to Bangkok got delayed by more than around 3 hrs. So as per discussion with Yatra executive we decided to go for refund. Yatra raised query to Thai Smile on 16th of January 2017 as per their records. After doing lots of follow up no success till date. I contacted Thai Smile, they told me they have already returned money back to Yatra in January itself. I shared the same mail with Yatra but no response. Being a patient customer I didn't expect such service from Yatra. I didn't do anything wrong then why I am suffering from last 3 months to get my money back. Kindly provide my refund.

They changed the schedule. How can they denied the refund? I have already attached the screenshot; it clearly indicates Airline has provided the refund. I should get full refund.                                       0n 28th march I booked a round trip from Chandigarh to pune with Yatra.com under booking number[protected] and I got a confirmation email from Yatra.com that your ticket was booked and ticket is attached in confirmation email . On 30th March received a call from yatra customer care ([protected]) that your ticket has been canceled and you have to pay Rs 4612 extra to again confirm your ticket. My old parent are travelling and this is only one flight non stop from chandigarh to pune have to pay extra money.My Questions are

                                      1) how can a confirmed ticket can be cancelled when they sent e-ticket with PNR number?
                                      2) Why i have to pay increase in fare price difference, if there is any misunderstanding between yatra and air india airlines ?

                                      Called 3-4 times on yatra customer care that how can a confirmed ticket can be cancelled they are not giving proper answer to my question and say's call to air india customer care we can't do anything . if i have book the ticket from your site and you charged me fee for that how can they people can say like this ... even wrote a complain on [protected]@yatra.com their complaint site but no reply ..
