Dear Sir/Madam

I have purchase "YOU TRIDENT ECO 50 GB 12 Months" plan with speed upto 10 Mbps a month ago. I got very good speed for the first 3-4 days. Now the internet download speed is between 15 to 140 Kbps. Most of the time it does not exceed 20 Kbps. I have logged at least 25 complaints and there is still no resolution yet.

Request all people not to purchase package from you telecom. The worst service provider I have seen till now.

You Broadband and Cable India Ltd — Worst Customer Care Services

I am using You Broadband and my customer no. is 505801.
Since last 5 days my internet is not working, I have registered a complaint with complain no.[protected] on 5-6-2010. They said it will be resolved in 24 hours. No one turned up for 72 hrs. So I again registered a new complain on 7-6-2010 with complain no.[protected] . Again the same story...someone will resolve it in 24 hrs. And again the same result, no one turned up. On confirming this from their customer care no. [protected] they said that someone named "Ilyas" has been assigned my complaint. Surprisingly Mr.Ilyas also is so busy, he couldn't turn up still. My question is if a complain is not being resolved for 5 long days and if a customer is not able to use a basic necessity like Internet for such a long period of time, why does the Govt. has to issue licenses to such incompetent organizations.???
Thanks to consumercomplaints.in my complain was solved in 2 hours.

    I am using you broadband "HURRICANE YOU" package. Actual validity of this package is 3 months but executive (Sunil) offered me 15 days extra on this plan. After 3 months they suspended my account and i am calling costumer care since last 7 days and every time they said it will take 24 hrs to resolve problem, after 7 days i got call saying its not possible to give extra days which were promised. This is happening second time, first time also their executive (Sameer) offered me 1 month extra for "ANGEL 512" package. Now that executive number is continuously showing switched off.

      Hi All,

      i have been using this connection for many months now . but for the last 6 months this connection works so sick , i really do not about the TRAI regulations but one thing am just paying the money but most of the time no connectivity and speed issues in the internet . have complained many times no action is been taken. my money is going in vain please help me to teach a lesson for all these type of service providers.

        I have requested for a reallocation of cobnnection as i moved to a new address... but the YOU Broadband people took almost morethan 1 m,on th just to confirm that the service in not available in new address and they cant do anything .... hence i asked for the refund for the remaining 45 days as i had paid for 3 months in advance but they are refusing to do so... And now its almost 10 days after i placed request to cancel the connection and till now no one has called....

          This is Pankaj Patel from Santacruz(W) Mumbai.
          I am customer of You broadband for severs years. The service was excellent as long as it was held by British Gas.
          Over period it has deteriorated and they have slandered answer for the same.
          Link is broken, Fiber is cut, there is back end problem.
          I am practically lodging complaint about unable to log in if not every day then alternate day.
          I have lodged complaint on 5.3.2012 but till 18. 50 hrs on 7.3.2012 it is not attended.
          There nodal officer is also does not believe in responding..
          I wrote to nodal officer but there was no acknowledgment .

            Almost a month ago we took YOU Broadband's internet connection. We were to have taken 3 month plan where we paid this company the entire 3 months money! Since the day we paid them, not for one day has the internet worked properly!!

            Our first month of this plan was February 2012. The internet was not working for more than one week in this month. Finally after hundred of stressful calls to the call center, something happened and connection was restored. Next day, the connection came for about ten minutes and went off again. This happened repeatedly. We posted on their Facebook page, but like their call center, Facebook admins are also parrots. "Please expect to hear from us soon." "Your issue will be resolved." That's it - they are trained by the company to mindlessly utter these words which mean nothing!!

            From their website we tried all the possible number. They have about 10 numbers on their website just from Mumbai region - and not even one WORKS!!! They are either temporarily out of service or are not answered no matter how many times you call or when you call. That just shows that they are scamming people! If they were reputed vendors, this would not have happened. Had we called so many times, other vendors would have taken this way seriously than YOU Broadband has.

            The best part is yet to come. We called them and asked them to disconnect our connection and return 2 months money back with deposit. They say "we don't have such a facility". Of course you don't!! When it comes to server, you don't have facility, and when it comes to refund, THEY ARE SHAMELESS!

            My brother's exams are about to start and we desperately needed Internet. But because of these selfish mindless people we are suffering!

            Please DO NOT TAKE THIS SERVICE!

              My plan has been changed without my permission and i have to bare 2 month's loos. i was on 1560 3 month night and day plan and without my permission company has changed it and made 1 month 12 mbps plan. i have already escalated the same to NODAL and Grievance Redressal but they both are not responding my call and mails.

              Again a bad experience from customer care...

              I had word with MADHURI yesterday regarding my connection to be closed as I am shift to BAPUNAGAR.

              She said sir we have connection there some of the cyber care is using our connection so you will have the same in BAPUNAGAR, just wait for our confirmation call as I am sending you details to concern department.

              Now I don’t know how but my plan has been changed that I came to know when I called in customer care for getting more speed then plan, the person there took my complain and said sir wait for 24hrs you will get a call back from our side.

              Madhuri gave me call back and she was literally fumbling while talking and she said sir you have requested the same. Now I am not a person who don’t remember what am I asking for , when I asked her for nodal contact she said hold on and then call got disconnected after waiting for half an hour for call back I call back on same no then some of lady said she will call you back soon, it's been more than 2 hours I haven't received a call back.


              Please do needful ASAP.

              You Cable & broadband India P Ltd — Not acknowledging request for change of plan

              Despite repeated mails requesting YOU to change my plan, there is no response from them except their mail informing about dues as per current plan which I want to discontinue but YOU BROADBAND authorities do not care a damn.

              Pls advise.

                I am one of the Customer of You tele.

                I am very upset with the You Broadband service and now fed up with the customer support.
                I have logged a complaint couple of days back with complaint no[protected].
                Twice I’ve received SMS for problem resolution, though problem is not resolved.
                Every time when I call centre they assure that the issue will resolve shortly which is not happening.
                I am fed up with this can anyone take initiative please. You broadband is just playing with me
                On live help chat if you go, every day they assure you that service will resume from 18:55 which never happens.
                So guys please keep yourself away from You broadband

                  I was using You broadband (customer
                  id,693327 ) at my house till November
                  2011. I discontinued it due to poor
                  service and given modem back on
                  12th November 2011 for which my Rs
                  750/ was pending at company. They
                  asked me to wait for 45 working days
                  but after 80 days, I have not got it
                  back. I called customer care,
                  hyderabad office, nodal officer and
                  applette authority as well as written
                  mail to them but got no reply.
                  Also, I got message that my request
                  has been resolved but I have not
                  deposit back.
                  This is day light cheating with
                  consumer.

                    doing fradu things when you take connecions
                    I suggest to all my friends that don't tack youtelbroadband connections because read my experience..

                    I was not in my state my father call to call center on 17th then they told that we have 3gb balance and 15 days balance. my father told them its ok. when i done surfing on 24th dec then its show me 115 mb balance so i call on the call center. that time Miss. Roshni took my phone at 8pm and not give me satisfied answer so i told her to give all details about my usage. she told that check on the website which is not posible to check my usage.i told its not possible. she not gave satisfied answer. so i told give to your supervisor then she told its busy and wait and put my phone on hold. in call center every 30 sec. phone should be referesh but here she not referesh my phone. first she took 2 min holding the again she told that i tack complain we will call you tomorrow. which is not satifactions answer then i told her to give this phone to supervisor again 3 min holding , not referesh phone. then i tock with Mr.Nilesh sonamiya and he also not gave me satifactions answer, he told that give 24hrs working days then i told that tuesday i gave you monday, he told my back office will do this work. my complain no is[protected] which is still today not resolve. Monday 12.45 one phone comes from the back office and tock very very roudly so i told don't tock on the phone come to home or meet me personaly then i will tock she order me and told thay i come to office and tock with her. which is not possible for me because i was in meeting . then tuesday morning one phone come at 10.45 near about then she told that she will call with in 1.30 min but no boday call me so i call at 4pm then again new person come Ms Puja sankalan which answer is also not satified. so i told her to gave to Mr. nilesh sonamiya she replay not available again waisting my time and put my phone for holding for 4 min where also not refersh the phone. then i tock with mr. nilesh sonamiya and again he say sorry we will do.( standered answer in call center) 24th dec i told Mr nilesh that i want it's resoluations but he not gave me perfect answer nor satified me. at the last he told that my back team call me at differenet time which is very very wrong no boday call me that time. and in the system it's how wrong details in my complain. at last today evening at 6.45 one phone comes from the back office that time i was in trafic so i told that call me after 5 min or hold my phone but here also he told that he don't have time now so he will call me tomorrow. i told that my job time is morning 9 to 6. And now i dem sure that they will call me in that time where i am not available and they will not give any resoluations.

                    So i told to all my friends that don't tack this connections. this is not for the first time this things happen so many time with me. but this is first time i am writing.

                    its call center number is not free so customer have to pay money for the phone.
                    and in between they are not referesh phone. so customer money is incresace.
                    not proper service when connections not possible.
                    there is also miss using of the customers id and its password.
                    this all my experience.

                    still today i not get any resoluations from the you broadband.

                      I am using broadband services of You Broadband since last four months. I am facing problem of frequent outage of internet services since I started using their services. Every time there is outage, I have lodged complains about the same. Every time I have given feedback to provide advance information when there is outage for maintenance but not a single time they provide information about the same. Every time they give false promised of immediate resolution. My business is completely dependent on internet services and I am loosing business due to unavailability of internet Services. I would like to appeal all who is using You Telecom Broadband service to make a note of this seriously and claim the business loss with You Broadband due to such outage of internet services and irresponsible attitude of the company.

                        Pathetic Customer Service and Poor Delivery Process:

                        1. I was approached by Mr.Dutta (Mob: [protected]) and was asked to take a new You Broadband connection. I was already using SSV(a local broadband-cable ISP) connection. I had heard about You and was told that they provide a good speed over internet. I was interested and on 9th November, I met Mr.Dutta in Chembur and gave him the application and cheque for Rs 1610 (Rs 860 for 320Kbps unlimited downloads for 3 months and the remaining as deposit). I was told by him that by Friday-11th Nov, my connection would be active.
                        2. On Thursday, 10th November 2011, my account got debited of the cheque amount. Also, a You-representative came down to my place to put the cable and modem and he attached the same to my PC.
                        3. On Satuday, 12th November 2011, I received my account details and password through SMS (account num:745324). I tried logging in but it was showing a modem error-Error Code 651.
                        4. On Monday, 14th November 2011, I again tried loggin in on Internet, but I couldnt. Same error was popping up. I call up Mr.Dutta on his cell and tell him about it. He gives me the call centre's number and tells me that he will follow up next day morning. I call up the call centre number [protected] and tell them about my problem. They tell me, that since its late (9PM) I have to call up next day morning to log my issue.
                        5. On Tuesday, 15th November 2011, I again tried logging in (after 8PM, as thats when I return back from job). Still no success. I call up Mr.Dutta, he said he will follow up next day.
                        6. On Wednesday, 16th November 2011 morning, I call up Mr.Dutta & call centre. I get a call from You and was told to switch on the modem. I told them I am not at home, and since I stay alone, I can only do it after I reach home, around 8PM. I forward him, Mr. Javed ([protected]) the details of my account. He says, he will come to my place after 8 and check as he also stays near Vashi sector 9.
                        7. On Wednesday, 16th November 2011 evening I reach home at 8PM and call Mr.Javed who said was busy at some place in Koperkhairne. I told him about my account not being activated yet and to accelerate the process. He said, that since its already late, it will not be possible then to check and tomorrow morning I should check. I call up Mr. Dutta again. He gives me Mr.Amir Sheikh's number ([protected]). Mr. Amir Says that he will go to office within the next 30mins and will ask someone to check my issue. I was told to expect a call. No one called and I asked Mr. Dutta to push on it. He says, he had a meeting and he completely forgot about my issue ( which reminded me how eager he was to get me the connection).
                        8. Today, thursday 17th November 2011. I am still trying to get the account activate. I was able to lodge a complain[protected]. And am yet to get any proper response from any personnel. They didnt even seem to care if I cancelled my account and I was told "it will be 45 days to get the money back". Customer is god- is now a fable.
                        Mr.Pramod, an engineer, from You, calls me at 8PM and tells me that my account has been activated.
                        When I log in, I am still shown the same error. I call up the call centre again. It was answered by Mr.Umesh. He said my account details are absent and he cannot even see what plan I applied for. It was really getting too much for me. I asked for a supervisor/floor manager. He keeps me on hold for sometime. And them comes back and tells me, they are all busy and not available to talk. Maybe thats how the customer-service people work these days and how the escalation matrix is skipped.

                        I really do not know what to do now. I am not even getting a proper escalation channel.
                        I need the connection, but the hassles are a lot to handle.
                        Is there any legal/customer-centric help I can expect from somewhere?

                        Very poor service levels, I also had similar experience. Literally I can say "out of 30days in a month surely more than 15days net will not work".

                        Sincere advise dont go for YOU BROADBAND.

                          I have you telecom connection and my Account No is 661519. i paid one year full payment. now, i need to shift the connection to my new house and because of this i registered complain to you telecom and my complain number is[protected]. I talk with the executive who give me connection, named Mr. Mukesh whose contact number is [protected]. he told me that shifting charge is negotiable and you get waiver in this. after some time i receive call from a lady whose number is[protected]. she told me that this service is chargeable and you have to pay, i told her that Mr. Mukesh told me that charge is negotiable and you get waiver in this. then i told her that can you call me after 30 mins and i will confirm with Mr. Mukesh.

                          After some time i receive message that your complain is resolved. i am not able to understand here that hows the complain resolved?

                          Again, i call to register the complain then customer service executive told me that we are sorry and some one contact you in 24 hours and your connection will be shifted in 24 hours.

                          now, today i receive call from Madhavi Patel whose number is [protected]. she told me that its take 7 working days, and you have to pay Rs.500 in advance and after you pay we will shift it in 7 working days. when i told them to disconnect the service then they told me that they will not pay me the refund(remaining months amount which is paid in advance) on this.

                          i paid money in advance and because of this i am facing below issue.

                          1) Poor Services.
                          2) Not able to change the Internet Service Provider.
                          3) Not able to access internet 24 hours, when i need it its always dead. registered complain on this many times, you can see in history.

                          Please help me to come out from this situation.

                          YouTelecom — Bad Customer Service

                          Hi,
                          I am using You Telecom Broadband Service from last one and half year.
                          My details are:-
                          Customer ID: - 283026
                          Login Id: - xxxxxxx

                          From last 15 days I am badly suffering with the Service which I have got from You Telecom.

                          Every time when I called up the Customer Care, Reason was told that in my area (Swarget-Pune) power outage is going on.

                          I don’t able to understand why there is power outage since last 15 dayz? Why not a strict action been taken on power outage?

                          If you want to cross check, you can look into the number of complaints that I have raised. Every time I was told to wait for 24 Hrs so that the problem will get resolved. But the next day same was happening. No strict action was taken against any of my complaints.


                          Also with that, I found my net connection going down every day at 10.30 PM and resuming on next day at 9 AM.

                          Is this the Service that You Telecom provides to his Customer? Is this a way to satisfy your customers?

                          Are you going to compensate for these 15 days as the problem was from your end?

                          I don’t think you have any answer on the asked questions.

                          Due to this bad experience which I have got, I am terminating the Service. (I have already raised a request to terminate the Service from 31st Aug2008)

                          I just want to give a small advice, if you continue, in giving the Service like this; you will definitely goanna LOSE your Customer.

                          plz tell u r people to collect payment after u r bill is given.
                          very bad service provider. They don't want to stay in market. They just want to do business one time. Just take money for 1 year than finding another customer instead of keeping customer on their way. Go with Airtel, They are really good with service. No Disconnection.. No Extra Charge.. No Wait for shifting. You will get service within 24 hours whether it is new connection or shifting connection. Also they will not ask for advance. They will ask for Money once they shift the connection.

                          Interrupted internet connection, no promised speed, delayed in response, poor customer service, no refund

                          I'm facing a problematic connections for more than 24 days. I asked for refund, they are reluctant and making me to complete the rest of subscription. One of the person said they will give me only after 45 days.

                            I am using You Broadband for 5-6 months. I have paid Rs.6,399/- towards broadband subscription for 1 year and three month for the plan o[censored]nlimited data usage plan with 512 Kbps speed. I am not getting desired speed anytime. I have registered a complaint for several times to resolve the issue but no use. Hence I have registered a grievance with nodal officer of the company through email. Still there is no action from the nodal officer and not even acknowledged my grievance.

                              i have given request for connection shifting from my old address to new address in same sector of koparkhairane, navi mumbai on 28th Sep 2011, i was told that it will take 7 working days, but even after 20 days( 15 working days) shifting is pending, and i am calling repeatadly to customer care/nodal officer (Mr. Rahul Chavhan), but no resolution is provided to me till date, neither they are talking about my loss o[censored]sage (no of days) because of delay in shifting.i had already given cheque of amt 500/- toward connection shifting and address proof. cheque amount is already debited from my account. each time i am calling to customer care/nodal officer i am getting a fix reply "We are esclating this", "you will get a call with in xxxx hours", "give me 2 min" or you'll get service credit of 2-5 day. but my question is because connection shifting is still pending (only cabling done 2 days ago) and its 12 days gone after your 7th working day(5th oct 2011) of transfer request, so why you are giving so less service credit, when i am at completly loss of 20 days (till date) and will be at loss untill connection is fully shifted and working. so i just wanted to know, the higher authority's name and contact number so that i can talk to them reg. this issue and if you dont have anything, then i'll send legal notice regarding this issue and componsation of my loss. be ready

                                i have paid Rs. 2800/- for 6 month internet pack and I was told to get 300kbps speed but i am getting just 10-15kbps speed and i have raised two complain.[protected] was the first complain no and that was closed by company without intimation when i called again asking for justification regarding this thing they said we are reopening this complain and you will get a call back. its already passed 48hrs there is nothing happened and now they are not receiving my call

                                  I disconnected my Internet connection in July 2011. The engineer came and collected the modem from my house.

                                  But inspite of calling their Customer care and confirming the disconnection, I am receiving bills with late fee instead of reimbursing the deposit.

                                  The engineer had warned me about the delay in the reimbursement but this is worst than I can imagine. I am being charged after disconnecting the connection.

                                    This is Mehul Bharatbhai Godhani. I am using Broadband connection from YOU Telecom. I've been complaining since many days regarding the speed I am getting. Recently I have opted for their You Buzz 2mbps plan via online recharge. As per the 'YOU Buzz' plan put on their website I should get 2mbps speed constantly but they are saying it's 256kbps to 2mbps varying. Now, I checked their whole website for that plan and they have not mentioned anywhere 'Upto 2mbps'. It is clearly said 'YOU Buzz 2Mbps 5 Paise per minute 2 Months'.

                                    Now, If I have been known that it's upto 2mbps then I'll not go for that plan. I'll choose different. But they haven't mentioned/said condition apply anywhere regarding the plan, I want to file a complain against company for 'Cheating Customers'. I have contacted many a times regarding this issue, but I am not getting any solution. So, I decided to go to Consumer Complain Forum.

                                    Please sir, Help me with this issue as soon as possible because I am not able utilize broadband fully and the usage days are deducting from my account.

                                      This company is a smart operator which engages in unethical business practices.

                                      I was sold a plan by one sales rep of the company who promised 2 mbps connection with unlimited download for two months and renewal for rs 999 for two months afterwards.

                                      After one month i got a call asking me to pay again saying that the plan had a limitation of 330 hours. This was never mentioned earlier.

                                      My efforts to contact and persuade the company have been of no avail.

                                      My sincere advise... Do not get fooled by this company.

                                        First of all who ever is planning to take YOU BROADBAND services is a request that dont go for their service....NO SUpport from their side when they will take money.....I have been calling customer care of the you broadband regarding the various issues that are been persisiting in the internet services but from their side only they give u the complaint number and they will tell that we will call u shortly...But i dont know what is meaning of the SHORTLY in their Company.....HAve paid 2000 rupees for the plan for 3 months but i havn't got the speed of 2MBps which was supposed to deliever!!!!
