I cancelled my You Broadband in May. Within 2 days of my disconnection notice they came and picked up the modem from my new address. Their policy is 45 days to return the deposit of the model (refundable). 2 months after my notice, I called them asking where is my Rs. 750 of deposit. They kept twirling me around and feeding me stories and avoiding the issue. Finally they told me to wait another 45 days (they gave a date of august 16) and that my check is ready it is just coming from Surat. Today it is september 3, 2013. I still don't have my money. I don't feel like calling them because I don't feel like chasing them anymore, I'm exhausted. Its been the worse service to deal with. That's the reason I disconnected from them. When they want the money they come running to your door (prepaid) and when they have to give something in return, they are nowhere to be found. Their internet is most the times down and does not work, and when you need technical help, they lie and keep you waiting the whole day and don't show up. I work every day there have been days i have taken off to get my service fixed and they would not show up and keep telling me that they are coming. I got so tired and sick of this service I couldn't take it anymore. Please, anyone trying to get this service, save yourself the headache. THEY ARE TERRIBLE! Its been 5 months almost, and I never got back my money, I don't think they even have the intention of giving back the money. They never let you talk to a senior, so you're constantly banging your head while your mobile phone bill goes up, and you keep begging the service representative for help or keep begging them to put you on the line with a senior. horrible service. I was so relieved to cancel them. But now they have kept my money and that is really unfair. I feel robbed honestly. If you would like the copy of my modem submission, please let me know.

    Really ..You Telecom is one of the worst Internet Service Provider in India. I am from Vadodara, Gujarat. My Internet is not working since last 2 days. I am trying to call YouTelecom customer care, but no one receive my call. [protected] and[protected], trying to call both number, but no response. POOR Service by You Telecom. Now I think, its really wastage of money to choose You Telecom.
    Its Time to STOP You Telecom Service.

      Dear Sir , I am a BE.Mech graduate and a retired person and have applied an internet Broad Band connection to YOU Broad Band & Cable India Ltd. Adajan Branch,Surat , Gujarat on 10th Aug 2013 by paying a cheque amount of INR 3949/- against the YOU SMART plan with 256kbps speed unlimited for 360 days. I have been informed by the concerned visiting staffs Mr Meghraj, that it will be operative within 7 days or earlier. On 19th Aug they installed broad band cable thru near bye connection telling that in 2 days it will put in order, but after many calls and reminder am not getting a specific date & only showing the reason that they don't have a part called ''CONNECTOR'' in stock but even after calling , the visiting staff Mr.Kaushal Pancholi & Mr Meghraj were failed to answer specific reason. If this is the status & Situation of FIRST stage i don't see any Bright & smooth function of the system even after paid amount in full. PL LOOK INTO THE MATTER OR I MAY FORCE TO GO FOR LODGING COMPLAIN TO CONSUMER FORUM. N.B. - My CRF NO. - 512006 / Dt.10th Aug 2013 at Surat City.

        My modem was taken away by your person on 24/05/2013.
        Even after 80 days I have not got the refund back.

        There is no info from him or the local office. Your helpline is always "experiencing high call volume" and unable to be reached. On the rare occasion that I could reach them, they have said that it is still pending.

        I do not know if my deposit will be returned as there is no response from you or the nodal officer.

        I will be filing a complaint with Consumer Court regarding this apart from complaint to TRAI if there is no response from you in three days time.

        I was deposited for international roaming - Rs.7500/- dated:09/03/2009. On 20/03/2009 I was submitted a letter for cancellation for international roaming. But they weren't take no decision for that letter.

        I am not received the deposit amount yet. kindly arrange to refund the deposit amout.

        You BroadBand — wifi is not received

        i didn't get my wifi as per company's policy in 21 days the wifi come @ home but now its mor than 30 days..and when i call in company they don't response please help me i am feeling helpless..and i call in costumer care but they also didn't response at all..

          This is what has happened.
          12Jun - I brought 'HURRICANE YOU 25GB 1 Month' plan from youboardband
          which means I get
          12mbps speed for first 25GB download and then I get 1mbps. Somehow I
          started getting 1mbps speed. I emailed this many times.
          24Jun - Their employee Mandar visited my home and confirmed speed
          problem and sent email to them. Then I started getting 12mbps.
          Meanwhile, 10GB...

          I am using broadband services at my residence provided by You Broadband & Cable India Ltd. I am using their services since Jan 2013, but since last couple of months I have been facing a low speed issue. Also I am facing another issue of frequent disconnection since last 10-15 days.

          Broadband Plan Details:
          Account Id: 878378
          Plan Name: You Jaguar
          Speed: 1Mbps
          Type: Unlimited 24 Hours.

          Issue #1:
          According to the plan I should get speed up to 1Mbps. As per the company's policy, they provide 80% of plan's speed which is around 800Kbps. Initially, I used to get the speed according to the plan and had no complaints regarding the same. But since last couple of months, the speed has be slowed down. I get speed of 600-800kbps. And since last 10-15 days, most of the time the speed is around 500Kbps which is 50% of the plan. I have been complaining regarding this issue a lot but they are not solving this issue.

          Issue #2
          From last 10-15 days, I am facing frequent disconnection of the internet. And since last week, this issue has reached the apex level. After every half an hour or so, the internet gets disconnect for 15-20 minutes, sometimes half an hour and since last two days 2-3hours of disconnection. The modem remains online but I am unable to browse any of the websites. I can browse hardly for a minute or two. I have registered a complaint regarding this issue as well along with the low speed issue in last week but the customer care executive didn't register the latter issue. Then I called the customer care again day before yesterday and that is when they registered the complaint for the mentioned issue. I asked them to put the manager or immediate supervisor on the call but they didn't do that and assured me that the issue will be resolved within 24hours. Yesterday when I called again for the same issue, they said that issue will be solved within 48hours starting from the day of complaint registration which is 6/08/2013. At first they say that it will take 24hours and the very next day they say it will take 48hours. What kind of internal communication gap is this? Well, that's not important, what the main thing is, I received an SMS from You Broadband that the issue has been resolved. I checked the the internet and faced the same problem again. The issue has not been resolved yet. I still face frequent disconnection.

          I feel calling them is useless. I was told that I will get a call-back from their side but I never got any.

          Also, my friend who lives in Baroda, Gujarat is using the same plan from the same service provider and he never faced such kind of issues. Also, he gets almost 100% of the speed all the time. Now I don't know what is the company's policy behind this. Why there is a difference of services in two cities of the same state?

          I would like concerned person to have a look at this problem at the earliest and revert for the same as most of my work require consistent speed and flawless connection.

          i am syed juned i am staying in mehdipatnam hyderabad in anderaparadesh.we are using the you broadband more then 1year but they not provide the good service and they give fake promises and they are cheet me for 2 months al ready i pay 8month bill on[protected].when they are chek my accont it show only 1 month i pay. i have orginal bill.

          i m girish yanda taken connection for one month from you broadband & cable india ltd. that a modem refundable fee of Rs 500/- is to be refunded and till now there is no response from the broadband service past 45 days.please take action immediately.

            You Broadband, Pune. I had applied for shifting of my internet connection from Aundh, Pune to Viman Nagar, Pune. The customer care executive had informed me that they can only shift the internet connection if they provide connection in my society, Neco garden, apartment Tulip. They informed me by calling that they can shift my internet connection as they have checked the feasibility of providing connection. Their executive collected shifting charge of INR 607 and plan charges of INR 1212 on 7th July, 2013. The receipt serial number is[protected] and[protected]. They said that the connection will be shifted within 1 week. However, shifting of my connection was not done even after 1 week. I started calling the customer care repeatedly one day after another and they responded the same that the executive from local Pune office will call within 24 hours and resolve my issue. I did get some sporadic calls from them but they never shifted my connection. I again called the customer care and they said that they can only forward the request to the local office, they cannot do anything else. The supervisor of the executive, Mr. Diwakar told me that he has sent mail to the local office and they will respond. However, no one responded. I tried calling the nodal officer in Pune, Mr. Imran khan but he never picked the call and the executives told me that he is busy in meetings all the time. I also called the appellate authority Mr. Ahmed Shaikh. He took my account number twice but no one contacted me again. He never picked my call again.

            Frustrated, I went to the local office and spoke to Mr. Imran Khan, nodal officer in You broadband Pune. He said on my face that executives lie by telling that shifting can be done in 1 week and it is not feasible for the company to shift connections. Out of favor, they shift the connection. He refused to give a time frame for giving connection but said that it might be done by 3rd August, 2013 or 5th August, 2013. However, connection was still not provided.

            I want to lodge a complaint as not only have they failed to give me connection, they have also lied to me that it is feasible to give me connection. They are also not returning my money.

            You Telecom / Internet — I have applied for shift my connection

            YouTelecom — not refunding the money against modem surrender

            Dear Sir/Mam,

            I have been a subscriber(Internet Connection) of youtelecom since last 5 months.I stay at Nerul.Youtelecom had made a set up on the roof of the building where I saty without the consent of anybody for the last three years..When the this came to the knowledge of the society chairman,he asked these youtelecom employees to vacate the place as they didn't have any internet connection.Then being a subscriber I called on a call centre number and wanted to know if I can be able to have the connection or not.First they suggested me to surrender the connection as they shifted to some other location.Then I surrendered the connection.After three days a person came to my house advised me to retain the connection.This assurance he gave me on 28th September.Everyday I call on the call centre number but they don't even listen me..Internet is my bread and butter.They always come out with a fabricated assurance by saying "By 24 working hours definitely it will be resolved..I have wasted my time money everything running behind them..

            Please help me in this regard

            No response to refund money

            I have paid for 3 month broadband in July 2014 through net payment. Till now they have not given the connection.They have not paid electricity charges to our buiding association too. Never go for this company

              on 27-7-13 the person came from the company and collect rs 3800 for new connection . he told that connection will be done by Monday.when contacted him on Tuesday he tell he need to take permission from taxila apt which is next building to us .nothing happened so i wrote complain to their customer service ..On Thursday evening they told me that taxilla apt is not giving permission to stretch the cable.so on Friday afternoon i talked with manager of apt. and worked out the permission .i talked with him and he said it will be done by evening .no one came to install on that day. now Thursday the person came from company after talking with me went to taxilla apt when after 2 hours of no information about him when i contacted him through mobile he tells be that the cable is short and with informing me went away and on phone he tel a me that he is going back to company to get bigger cable even he had brought two different cables .he does not returned on that day .now again on Monday when is contacted the company people they said that it will be done by evening .till evening nothing happened .So when i again contacted him that no one came he tells me that you connection requires 1.25 m of cable the man brought cables on Saturday were more than 2 m.so basically they are telling lie and not giving connection nor refunding my money.

              You Broadband and Cable India Ltd — Return of Payment

              Dear Sir,
              I am a customer of Youbroadband and cable India limited.I am using internet service of this company from April 2010.I made an advance payment of 4000/-Rs. for 6 months through cheque.Company agent has given me assurance that if I will change my address then company will transfer my connection to the new address with an extra payment of 500/-Rs.
              Now I have changed my home after using the service for three months.Now I want to get my connectiopn transfered, I am ready to pay 500/-Rs.also. But Company is Neither providing me connection nor returning my remaining money.
              Company is telling that due to technical infeasibilty in your area, we are not able to provide you connection.But company has provided connection to my front apartment on the same sixth floor.And Reliance broadband connection is already in my home then how it is technically infeasible??
              Kindly get my money returned.

                In first week of June 2013, I applied for New connection at YOU-Broadband. Their representative visited our home and checked Feasibility and concluded that there is feasibility for new connection and collected Rs.2440/- on 12/06/2013 and gave a Receipt with number 462151. The connection should come in a week. But as on 22/07/2013 there is no response from them. I raised many complaints to their call centre they are saying that the connection will be given in 2 days but it was not happening. When i contact their representative who collected money, he is saying that the cause for late is due to lack of cable.                     Hi,

                    1.5 months back I opted for You Broadband Internet services as I moved to my new home.
                    I paid an advance 3 month rent of approx 2100 INR. The connection was working fine but 10 days back the Internet Service stopped suddenly.
                    I thougth it must be some temporary technical issue so didnt report for 1-2 days.
                    But even after that the services were not restored so I called the technical support team to check the issue. Executive mentioned that the connections in my building were damaged and those must be restored within 1-2 days.
                    I waited for 2 days and called them back asking about the status. Executive again promised me that services will be restored by next day morning.
                    But again the same story. When I called the local You Broadband technical expert to know what is the problem, he told that there is no certainity on when the services will be restored. I am stuck completely as I have paid the advance rent for 3 months so cannot opt for another service also. :( :(

                      The company agreed to to do the installation in matter of 5 days. Beleiving them I sincerely paid the complete amount to them in cash on 22 June. It's been more than 15 days the manager and the sales person both fail to answer my call and though I have been in touch with their call ceter they have failed to install or reimburse the money paid to them.

                        Hi, I am a customer with YouBroadband for 3 months now. I am on a internet package called "Hurricane" where i get 25GB of internet at a speed of 12Mbps for which i pay Rs.1178 Per month.
                        On the month of June I renewed my account on the 13th for which i should get 25Gb till the 13th of July 2013 or depending on my usage.
                        The complaint i want to make here is that on 21 of June i received an email from youbroadband saying i have used 21Gb s of internet,following which i receive another email 8hrs later saying I have used up all my 25Gb s. This is incorrect as I have not used more that 12 to 15 Gbs of internet.I have been keeping a track of my usage.
                        I spoke to a customer service executive on Sunday(call ref number[protected] who promised me that it would be looked into and sorted out in 24hrs and also promised a call back from his manager. Its been more than 3 days i still dint get any response from them neither was my problem sorted out. I called them back on Wednesday morning at 10:30 am and spoke to Mayur Jain(Supervisor) who said that the complaint that was taken on sunday was still pending and all he could do was update that existing complaint. Nothing seems to be happening from them.
                        I work from home and need internet at all times. But YouBroadband thinks it is okie to provide its customer with horrible service and cheat people of their money.

                        Please have a look into this.

                        I too use youbroadband service in Adyar, Chennai..I am also having the same complaint like this for Ex. If i am downloading a movie of 350mb file and next day when check my usage it was 700 mb. It is getting doubled of my download usage. why this is happening? or is it common for all but shows no logic.

                        Most of the time we could not use the Internet bcos of some connectivity problem or some other..

                          I was brought you broadband 12+2 months package by them Form number of 393666 Date: 14/02/2012 By them salesman name Kaushlendra Jha mobile no. [protected] by my cheque no. 965227 Bank SBI Amount Rs. 750 Modem deposit Rs. 4388 Plan Charge Total Rs. 5138.
                          Them salesman told to us if create any problem in broadband connection we will give you back to you your payment. We have faced many time problem in them broadband connection and mostly on afternoon time connection always disconnected. We have many time complaints again them service center and give to email them management but not got proper solution in connectivity than after I tiered to them and decided to cancel my you broadband connection after two months of Connection date. Then after I called to them customer care to cancel my connection they give me complaint no.[protected] for cancel my connection and deposit them modem on date: 27.08.2012 and Reciept no. R/LOC-014 Rev:00 but still date 17/06/2013 not get any payment Rs. 750 Modem Deposit and my pending plan payment
                          So I requested to all please don’t buy any package of you broadband plan

                            YOU Broadband -You really suck !

                            My net connection was finally restored on 3rd day (kindly read as, after suffering 3 days). And,
                            - This was after making more than 30 calls to your customer care center.
                            - After paying all my bills atleast 10 days in advance for all the months.
                            - After subscribing to your best available plan.
                            - After being ensured that it will be restored within 24 hours.
                            - After 24 hours, being told, that they meant 24 'working' hours i.e
                            3 working days. Period !
                            - After i referred more than 10 people for your service.
                            - The connection was restored 18 hours after your 'Technical executive'
                            ('cableman' would suit better), called me to inform that the problem has
                            been identified and would be rectified ASAP. (..18 hrs ?? )
                            - When i talked, to you customer care center regarding adjustments of these
                            3 days, i was told YOU only 'entertain' such 'requests' after more than
                            3 'working' days of inservice. Let me clarify, this reply wasn't 'entertaining'
                            was i 'requesting'. I have paid for your service ('inservice' actually) and will
                            prefer throwing that damn modem flying out of my window rather than
                            waiting for your assistance.
                            I feel pity on you guys, and your thinking that you can stay in this business in this competitive time without the word 'Customer service' in your books. It takes 20 min. to file a case in consumer forum and 2 hours to get a new connection.
                            you broadband has worst service in mumbai too..we have been struggling for past 2 days..
                            YOU Broadband has poor customer service..they dont respond to calls properly. they dont send the guys for installation on proper timings. you have to chase them 100 times for jsut sending the user name and password.. they are not good at streamlining the activities. the only activity they perform well is to collect the money immediately after u call them for new connection and then u are left to die in drain. they dont even respond for any o[censored]r calls.
                            I purely agree. YOU Broadband has very pathetic service in Hyderabad too. Every alternate day it is down. I have a big email chain of complaints plus long list of complain numbers. We should recommend everyone NOT to go for YOU and waste their money. Purely unreliable.

                              I am customer of YOU BB ,which is harassing me. The details of the account as below:

                              I have taken a PRE-PAID you bb connection in feb 2013, paying Rs 2015 for 3 months along with 500 as security

                              deposit. But the service has been horrible and i wouldnt want any one to go thru such a pathetic experience....

                              Every week there is interruption is service for atleast a day and on May 04 -May 08 the service was down in my
                              area, without any prior notice of interruption....I had to rush to office in the midnight , as i dont have any
                              back up to work from home!!! I have raised a complaint with YOU BB ,complaint numb:[protected]. But now YOU BB
                              is not ready to compensate for the loss for 4 days!!!! I am asking YOU BB to extend my validity by 5 days for which
                              service was interrupted...but YOU BB is such a cheat that even the RANK of NODAL officer, Tabitha Grace ,is unable to
                              address the concerns ,even after several mail n telephone conversations!!! I WOULD SAY DONT BUY YOU BB EVEN IF THEY GIVE
                              U FOR FREE!!! ITS HORRIBLE SERVICE COMBINED WITH GROUP OF ARROGANT CHEATS!!! THEY WANT ONLY MONEY !! EVEN AFTER CANCELLIN
                              MY CONNECTION ,YOU BB IS NOT READY TO RETURN MY REFUND!!!

                              MANY INSTANCES WHEN YOU BB EXEC HAVE COLLECTED MONEY AND HAVE NOT PROVIDED CONNECTIONS AT ALL!!!

                                I had terminated my YOUbroadband internet connection in Dec 2012. The person came & collected the MODEM & told me that I will receive a cheque for the deposit I gave while starting connection. till now I have not received any cheque. I have called almost 10 times to their customer care. Every time I call, they say that they will forward my request.

                                Also when connection was active, they cut the line & told me that my documents are missing.

                                  I Applied for new connection on date 17/05/2013 and deposit 2000 rs cash to sales person of you broadband they commented to provide new connection withing two days but till now they r not responding everyday i m making call to him but company is not responding ( even i registered so many complain is nodal office but response is same.

                                    I have a You Broadband connection which is only 1 month old now. In this 1 month the connection was up and running for only 15 days approx. The remaining days it has been down. It works at a stretch for only 2 days and after that it dies down. after that i have make a complain to the customer care who gives me a tag of 24 hours to resolve but it always takes more than 6 days to resolve and that too it seems a temporary fix. Again it goes down after few hours of working fine. For past 5-6 days i have observed it goes down every evening after 6 pm and comes back up the next day at 9 am.
                                    I have made repeated complaints to customer care, nodal authority and appelate authority but the issue remains unsolved. I have spend hundreds of rupees o just calling these people to fix my connection. And all of no use.
                                    I have paid an advance rental for 3 months and security deposit totalling to Rs 4000. I would like to get my complete amount refunded if they cannot promise me a trouble free connection. I am ready to take leal action against them on this.

                                      Before 6 months you broadband was running an offer about joining there connection, in which if you paid the connection amount by credit card they promised to give us free giveaways. Eventualy, looking at the nature of the scheme they offered i bought the connection and since then i have been waiting for there offer giveaways up to date.

                                      Basically it turns out even after asking for my right the representative kept on promising about checking on it and getting back but they never turn up.

                                      Hence, i am going to file a complaint in the consumer court on the basis of fraud schemes offered for generating business.
